Nr. 51: Be regular and structured to God!

Nr. 51:

Be regular and structured to God!

1. Tess. 5. 17 bed incessantly.

Basic text: adialeiptós translated: incessantly, without remission.

This was a foreign word and there are those who understand this better than me. But the way I wanted translated this word in 1 Tess. 5. 17 had been so.
Be structured and methodical always!

So we pray regularly and expect the closet prayer that the Lord will look out from where all our experiences with God to come. When I think of what Jesus taught in the Sermon on the Mount. Everything begins in the closet with the Lord and we must constantly return to the closet prayer. We need peace and quiet in our Christian life. Of course we pray with others, but the closet prayer is necessary and can not be replaced by common prayer.

Matt. 6. 5 And when ye pray, ye shall not be like the hypocrites, for they want to stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners, to appear before the people, verily I say unto you, They have already received their reward. 6 But you, when you pray, go into your closet and close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and thy Father which seeth in secret will reward you openly. 7 And when ye pray, ye shall not heap up many words, that the Gentiles, for they believe that they will be heard for their much speaking. 8 Do not be like them! for your Father knows what I need before I ask him.

The Lord wants us to pray methodical, structured and independent of the "weather".

We should not ask a lot one day and low the next day. One day we know the Lord is very near and the next day, he is not near. It is important that we omprioriter and asks evenly and regularly every day. Then come and we are in the prayer life God has for us. Daniel prayed to and experienced so much with God as few others are granted the privilege to experience. And that is what is to pray without ceasing, and pray regularly and structured.

Daniel 6 11 But when Daniel learned that the letter was set up, he went into his house, where he had in his room windows facing Jerusalem, and three times a day he turned his knees in prayer and praise to his God , just as he had done before.

We should pray three times a day all year through and otherwise keep on with our normal pursuits. Not much some days and not other days. Pray without ceasing is actually a mistranslation as so much else in the bible from what I understand, but by all means, it is a lovely word.

It is the steady stream of God that Daniel lived for and that we should live by. How many told of biblical men and women, including King David.

Psalm 55 17 I will cry to God, and the Lord shall save me. 18 Evening and morning and noon I will complain and sigh, as he hears my voice.

I love to focus on what to ask when it is so wonderful, big and important. It is the believer's respiration. And to have Daniel as a model here that had worship for themselves regularly, and secure in the evening with family and friends? And it was sure even those who came to him otherwise when he was about. 80 years old and when he asked then also asked those who visited him with him. Getting to Daniel was also always go with a prayer and worship time.

Live a disciplined life of prayer and always win!

When we read this word in the text because it is also translated to say not to ask at random. We should not pray at random!

Eph. 6. 13 Take therefore the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day and stand after having won everything.

We will be standing after having done all, and we get to live like Daniel who prayed three times regularly and with discipline during the day.

When the delightful Methodist revival broke out as they laid emphasis on living methodological, therefore Methodists. They had glorious triumphs with God and was strong in him, but today many are weak and frail and dying prematurely because they do not live methodical and allows sin in their lives rather than seeking the Lord alone.
It is a film, training and other things that always comes in the way so that one does not live methodical and structured.

Prayer three times a day

As already mentioned, said Daniel prayed three times a day and so did his disciples when the bl. A went up to the temple at prayer hour and where they healed the lame man.

Acts 3. 1. But Peter and John went up together in the temple at prayer time, which was the ninth.

Methodists in our model

Methodism, Christian (Protestant) movement, one of the largest Protestant denomination with about. 70 million followers. Methodist approx. 100 countries have joined together in the Methodist World (Breakers World Methodist Council). The largest church is United Methodist Church with approx. 14 million members. The Nordic and Baltic countries is a diocesan, see also the Methodist Church in Norway.
The name Methodist goes back to a student organization that was formed in Oxford in 1729, and where John Wesley was the leader. It was called the Holy Club and its members "Bible Moths" and "Methodists" in the past because they wanted to work methodically with studies and social work and conduct regular Bible reading and sacrament.

Learning from the world!
DISCIPLINE
Those who want something in this world discipline themselves and set goals. One that should be included in the Olympics or WM preparing for the championship, and so should we Christians also live. But when spiritual related. Pray 3 times a day did Daniel, would not we have him as a role model? Paul taught several times about the same.

1. Cor. 9. 24 Know ye not that they which run on the race track, they run well all, but only one receives the prize? Ran thus, that you can win it! 25 Each one who participates in the betting game, the abstention of all, Josephine for a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. 26 I run when not on the unknown, I am waving not one that turns up in the air, 27 but I subdues my body and keeps it in bondage, lest I preach to others, even should be a castaway.

Why are there so many problems and disease among the believers in Norway and in general? One is too little discipline and too much self-centered.

The secret to a happy and successful Christian life is how you walk with God, away from the church. We all need the church and Scripture encourages us not to stay away from the church.

This is from my commentaries Hebrews 10 24 Let us have a concern for each other, so we enthusiastic about one another to love and good deeds.

Having concern for each other is one of the surest signs of that is a living Christian. It is contagious to be good and then it becomes natural for the next person to be likewise. We cheer each other up and brag about each other.

25 And let us not keep us neglect our church meetings, as some people do. Let's encourage each other, so much more, as ye see the day approaching.

The church as a listener shows a faithfulness in at all levels. We encourage each other to do good deeds and have gifts to use in our lives and churches (end of quote).

I have been highly trained and I know that when I played good matches was when I had a good training week and when I had a bad training week was generally a bad game.
Here is what it is in the spiritual field. We must learn to care for intercourse with God in silence and live close to the Lord. Let prayer life will be regular and structured, every day of the week through. Live like Daniel who prayed when he got up and had a quiet moment with God, as he did his usual nudge. For dinner, it was not only food but also prayer and God's word, when others went on training, cinema and out to dinner in the evening asked Daniel. Live like this and be happy, to have Daniel as your role model, he's mine!

Muslims and Jews pray regularly, but it is also a Christian to do the same. Let us not be so self-centered and preoccupied with our own problems, but pray regularly and structured, often three times a day. This is my request and with pleasure I recommend anyone to live this way.

We can vary our prayer closet, where both speaking in tongues, sing and make an emergency prayer is right and good. But learn also to pray for others than you yourself and your own needs, the God will take care of when you pray for others many times. Would encourage everyone to also pray for others. Intercession is prayer that is made on behalf of others. The intercessor use prayer to communicate with God, send a request on behalf of someone else or on behalf of a group of people. Many religions include some kind of tradition of prayer, both for the individual worshipers and for groups, and many people find prayer a vital and fulfilling part of their religious practice.

Because prayer requires a sense of compassion for others, some people think that it is an important way to contribute to the society they live in. Intercession is also markedly different from private prayer or meditation, which can be important for self-development, but not useful the world in general. In a sense, this kind of prayer, a selfless act of charity, using a relationship with God to help someone else, as intercessor is literally someone who requests or takes the matter another.

1. Tim. 2. 1. I exhort therefore, above all things that are made prayers, invocations, prayers, thanksgiving for all men, 2 for kings and all those in the high dignity, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and modesty. 3 For this is good and proper, for God, our Savior, 4 who wants all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.

There are more prayers and ways of praying, here is a "standard" type of prayer that we all should have had a pattern of prayer. Could have gone further here, but will stop. Will encourage the individual to get into a structured and regular life with God in prayer and intercession! Praying to God's word prescribes the textured "method" to reach the goal! Time of Prayer is a poor option as the Catholic church performs (8 times a day), three times a day is better, there are also prayers. I always pray before I eg go to work, it is also very good!
