Our letter to the Oslo District Court regarding the public and PBE abuses against us, unimaginable that such people are allowed to continue without anyone intervening and standing up against this direct evil of the planning and building agency and the public!

We have come up with an answer. Here is an excerpt:
To Oslo District Court regarding case 22-182065TVA-TOSL/08
Oslo 28/12.2022:
Part 1

You write that we should be allowed to make comments.
We have that. Where we will try to systematize this.

1.) It is always important to ask yourself the question, is it me who is at fault or the other party if you receive accusations against you?
In this case, it is too high a wall that PBE claims should have been 0.5 meters to be legal (that is the narrative and the lies of PBE and the public. The terrain is naturally steep.). Because the drop on the property has a minimal drop. But what is the truth? That the fall is vertical, and then a wall that is around our wall of 1.5 meters is permissible. Our wall is 1.8 meters. In other words, a minimal overshoot. Then denying us dispensation and approval is against Norwegian law and common sense. Then the case against us is a serious assault, not least in view of the fact that we were guided by PBE to build the wall ourselves. Can't see this case as anything other than abuse of power and authority by the public sector. Also take into account that we are the amateurs here, and PBE the professionals.
This is an assault, nothing else!
https://blog.janchristensen.net/2022/11/nr-3123-dommen-i-fra-oslo-tingrett-en.html

2.) Everything is built on our property, and with our funds. Then the public sector should also have some common sense and self-awareness? It doesn't exist here, we have to be broken and all means are used.
Here we see the ugliest and worst of the authorities, ala the Nazis, Putin's Russia and others who abused their power!

3.) The truth is that we have exposed PBE's many lies and distortions of the truth. What did? Admit and acknowledge this? No, they use all possible means that they have in their "tool" box. To use this against us, to do everything to break and hurt us.
What a sick scheme, truly malicious and abusive!
One is simply mean and cannot stand that we retaliate. Then we will be punished so harshly and so comprehensively. That all possible means are used. If you fail once, you just try again. The whole case against us is a serious abuse, abuse of power and authority. Public servants can continue to do this, as they are never held accountable for their misdeeds and criminal behaviour. In some cases, Norway is a police state, not a rule of law. Here, judicial murders abound again and again!

4.) The bailiff's email to the Oslo District Court was very bad and unprofessional as it was only angled like this for PBE and the public benefit. And our disfavor, it is very reprehensible as the objectivity one should expect from the Bailiff, was not present.

5.) The actual basis for coercion against us is a direct assault as it was PBE who guided us to build the wall. https://blog.janchristensen.net/2022/11/nr-3103-det-er-et-maktovergrep-av-det.html

6.) Facts in the case. Blue. that PBE allows walls of 1.5 meters that have a terrain like ours. Here, PBE is lying that we have a flat plot of land.
https://blog.janchristensen.net/2022/11/nr-3123-dommen-i-fra-oslo-tingrett-en.html

7.) Our wall follows the terrain, which is a criteria for being able to build a wall. This point is absolutely essential. This is a criterion that we have followed and will now be punished for. Here we see that the mentality that is in the Congo is in Norway. All opposition to the authorities must be seen as a criminal offence, even if the authorities lie and engage in harassment, bullying and abuse. Think of the Viggo Kristiansen case there while they were working for an acquittal. Then they worked to get him caged for the rest of his life. Why? He did not accept the injustice he had been subjected to, then one must be punished in the harshest possible way. Is Norway and the public run by a bunch of narcissists and people who cannot bear to be contradicted? Our case is bureaucracy of the worst kind, rule-riding and over-management. PBE itself and the public hide behind Norwegian law. The law they themselves break against us on many points. Blue. by not approving our wall, stairs and shed. What do you expect really? Here we have been misled, misled and have built a great wall. That this is punishable and we are breaking the law is not true. The Dispensation Act says clearly. "A dispensation cannot be granted if the considerations behind the provision from which it is dispensated, the considerations in the law's purpose provision or national or regional interests, are substantially disregarded. The advantages of granting a dispensation must clearly outweigh the disadvantages." in our case there are only advantages, and PBE accepts walls with our drop and terrain of 1.5 meters. Our wall is at its highest approx. to that extent. For PBE to deprive us of this right. Are they lying about the terrain. The entire agency and the public sector are a bunch of liars and use the law against us consistently.
How rotten and evil is it possible to remain within the public sector?

8.) Norwegian law i.a. the Public Administration Act. Where we have come with countless questions, have not been answered. In other words, the PBE abusers "exonerate" themselves by not answering questions. Everyone can be right about everything if you don't take into account the views of the other party. PBE is a toxic and incompetent agency that is dangerous to life! The whole case against us is dirty, and is nothing more than an assault. It has nothing to do with the fact that we have built something illegal!

9.) The discrimination is huge. There are many, many people who have built walls on top of old walls and received approval. There are many, many people who have built walls up to many meters above what is permitted. PBE parole is obviously to engage in persecution, harassment and rigid orders and fines that are completely, completely rigid and a waste of money against us. Those who have large, yes – huge excesses are easily exempted and approved.

10.) PBE is using everything they have in their toolbox to crack us. Here we were guided how to build. We resist, then hatred and primitiveness come out like never before in the employees there. This is reminiscent of the Viggo Kristiansen case. Where the innocent must be punished as harshly as possible. But those who are guilty of major excesses are easily exempted and approved.

11.) My wife and I are a "star couple" who have been married for 35 years. For us, we have everything in common. When my wife received the inheritance money, it was deposited into my account. We have everything in common, even though she is the one who both drives and uses the BMW i3 as "her" car.

12.) We both come from the "country" where we are used to trusting others, not least public figures. What they say, we believe. Not embarrassed to say this. When we were guided how to build the wall by a lady who, among other things, had defended a number of unsavory neighbors who had made various sick accusations. Shouldn't we trust her then? She was taken off the case, and was replaced with PBE's "bulldogs." Sad, but of course. We do not allow corrupt and evil people to dictate to us. Never!

13.) Her state of health with serious ailments such as arthrosis and other. Makes it not safe for her to drive a 25-year-old car that sometimes has problems that her car does not have. For the last 3 years she has left in working life, she is 100% dependent on her electric car, which fits her like a glove. Driving a 25-year-old car that doesn't always start is out of the question. It's not just a broken leg, the health challenge is something that the doctor points out is there "forever" with osteoarthritis, knees and tired joints after a long life in the workforce and having born and raised 3 children. We regard the fact that this is overlooked by the Bailiff as pure and utter evil. The car is also a "cheap" car. That she should not be allowed to keep this car is and remains evil!

14.) The so-called excesses we have are only trivial and to the benefit of everyone. The fact that we have not received approval is only an abuse and against Norwegian law. Then when they are overall more positive than negative things, a dispensation shall be granted freely translated. The law is not set aside either, as PBE accepts walls of 1.5 meters with a drop like on our property. Our wall is at its highest about there. Also, the shed is built in good faith and with the approval of the wall. Will our property also be larger, and the level of utilization will be within. After all, we are talking about only approx. 4 m2 excess on a plot of land that is almost 1,600 m2. place such excessive emphasis on this, when PBE approves plots that have up to 70 times more overruns than us that are right next to us. Just shows this enormous discrimination which is actually Norway's record.

https://blog.janchristensen.net/2019/05/nr-2462-pbe-her-i-oslo-fremstar-som-de.html

15.) During the trial, we want the court to come up to Stormyrveien/Krokstien to look at the conditions here. As what we have built is neither large, dominant, towering, ugly and an obstacle to traffic as some neighbors and PBE claim. On the contrary, the truth is exactly the opposite as others have built walls and other things far bigger and more dominant than us. As well as out on the road.

If we are to return the property to the way it was before, we will lose our green space to a very large extent. The natural distinction between our property and the road is blurred. We have to throw ourselves down a rope like we lived in the jungle. And we will have to replace the shed with plastic tarpaulins and pallets to cover what is currently standing safely, dry and neatly in the shed. What PBE has given us as an order, and we have received a fine of almost NOK 300,000. What they call illegal is simply evil.
https://blog.janchristensen.net/2022/09/nr-3072-faktum-i-saken-var-er-at-vi-har.html

16.) The public can then come and demolish the pretty and functional thing we have built? Laying a pile of soil out in the roadway with all that entails. The way we had it before? As the neighbor has today, which is, in our opinion, as ugly and disgusting as it is possible to have. We have had some on inspection, they did not want to demolish. They saw this as pure madness like that also is. https://blog.janchristensen.net/2022/12/nr-3129-det-er-ikke-til-skjnne-at-det.html

17.) When it is stated that the case against us is time-barred. And the Bailiff does not point out that this case has been tried before with the Bailiff. And found to be obsolete. Then it shows the dishonesty of the Bailiff in leading the Oslo District Court behind the scenes. This case was out of date in 2020, but is not out of date in 2022. It just shows here that the public sector is not always an objective party. But constantly trying to put the blame on us, for actually having built something fantastically beautiful. And keeps our property neat. That this should be so illegal only shows the abuse of power and authority the case is against us. The case should never have been brought to court. But we and PBE should have talked together. And get what we have built approved. Unfortunately, this will not happen, as prestige has been lost in this matter.
The most reasonable and correct thing is for us to get the wall, stairs and storage room approved.
https://blog.janchristensen.net/2020/11/nr-2787-plan-og-bygningsetaten-har-et.html

18.) The whole case against us is revenge. Since we have been able to inflict PBE and the public individual defeat, 8 prs have endured a battle where they have tried to use all means against us. And has actually "lost" several times. Which again only shows that there are people here with the motive - revenge. https://www.sokelys.com/christensens-ulovlige-mur-plan-og-bygnningsetaten-i-oslo-gikk-pa-ei-ny-blemme/

19.) The whole scheme from the public sector is about finding fault with us. And ignore all errors with PBE and the public.

A dirty game, which we will never under any circumstances comply with all that the PBE brings. Built on lies and distortion of the truth. E.g. the drop on our property is close to 90% (vertical.)
Then PBE allows walls of 1.5 meters, not 0.5 meters which they notoriously claim applies to us.
Furthermore, our wall is well indented compared to our previous slope, which was approved. As our neighbor has today, bedriten and with stormwater.
As miserable and ugly as it is possible to make a slope. We have as nice a wall/slope as it is possible to get. It is what PBE and the public are doing that is illegal, not what we have done at all!

20.) There is almost a "lynch mob" towards us because we have spoken out. Where PBE gets "protection" for its misdeeds from all public bodies. What have we actually done? Built something awesome, which the PBE makes up is illegal. We have encountered a completely rotten and dangerous public body. Is it a bunch of Nazis or whatever it is we've encountered? For it is indeed darkness we have met, and hatred and all that is not good! We will never bow to this evil!

21.) The case against us is abuse upon abuse. When we were guided how to build the wall. Being the people we are, trusting public figures, we followed this advice. In retrospect, when we have maintained this. Are we tried in every possible way to be punished for this. What we have built has also been pointed out by John Richard Øen from Eiker Husbygg at Mjøndalen. That what we have built is something that fits in with the entire development here in Stormyrveien/Krokstien.
There is something fundamentally malicious when someone who is and maintains his innocence receives such a backlash from the public.
This upcoming trial just shows how evil these people are, unfathomable and incomprehensible. Is Oslo Municipality a GDR agency?
https://blog.janchristensen.net/2022/04/nr-3007-terje-tinholt-sier-nyaktig-det.html

22.) The case is based on an assault. Where false accusations are actually made in this case. While the facts of the matter are being overlooked. Here the public acts as a police state against us.
From Wikipedia: Most police states are perceived as very unfree societies where the citizens experience a more or less constant fear of abuse from the authorities over something they have said or done (end of quote.)
Our arguments are not taken into account at all, but narrative to PBE which is nothing but a lie and distortion of fact. Will be considered. The judgment from the Oslo District Court, where district court judge Edvard Os in the judgment itself made up what happened between me and Kaja Aubert Lange, is so grave and ugly that words cannot describe the lies of Os.
It was direct free imagination! This in a judgement, it is really ugly and ridiculous the whole case against us from a to z!

23.) This matter has been blown out of all proportion, why? Because PBE and the public sector deal with incidents and pure revenge and reprisals against us. For We have exposed their folly and wickedness. And have not followed their rigid, senseless and vicious dictates. Just plain stupidity all in all. PBE appear to be a bunch of kids who are supposed to rule law-abiding and reasonable residents here in Oslo.
https://blog.janchristensen.net/2022/12/nr-3131-plan-og-bygningsetaten-her-i.html

24.) Altogether, the whole case against us is a great, great assault. Which is power and abuse of authority that even in a dictatorship could not have done better? Or rather, worse and more vicious and downright evil!?

25.) In our case, we see public handling and manners as vulgar, absurd, primitive and excessive.
We have only built something nice and functional, which we were guided by PBE how to build.
That PBE and the public are trying in every way to break us and get us on the streets.
Is nothing but abuse of power and authority.
https://blog.janchristensen.net/2022/02/nr-2984-pal-granberg-og-astrid-myhra.html

26.) It should also be worrisome that this case will never end until the public abuse ends. Here, PBE has already been revealed to such an extent that we will of course never voluntarily either give or accept anything other than the wall, stairs and shed being approved.

27.) Abusers like PBE and the public are against us. You just have to expect that we will not adjust to anything to our disadvantage. The whole case is an abuse of power and authority against us, of the ugliest kind.

28.) The car in question has an estimated value of NOK 150,000. We are expected to pay taxes, go to work etc. Living in a city that has declared "war" against fossil cars. Where really only electric cars are "acceptable!" Then deprive us of this car makes no sense! The car is probably a "cheap" car, which has enormous value for us. Especially for my wife who is her opportunity to live as "normal" a life as possible. At the same time, the self-esteem of being able to live free and good lives. Are we here "deprived!" For what? That we have built a great wall, as well as stairs and storage.

29.) How the public abuses us. Harassing and bullying us. This then "contagles" to other like-minded people. Blue. neighbors and others who do not understand that what we are exposed to is abuse of power and authority.
https://www.extraavisen.no/startet-etterforskning-etter-haerverk-og-trusler/

30.) When we speak up to certain people, we are bullied and harassed. Threatened to report us to the police, which again shows that some within the public sector do not understand that being confronted with their decisions reaches those like in our case. Is completely on the nose and the madness. They themselves notoriously break Norwegian law and want to protect themselves behind the law they are the world's masters at breaking. There is then nothing but to expect that they will be confronted with their evil. The fact that they then threaten to report to the police shows that people are not fit for the job they have, as they cannot stand contradiction. None of them have been threatened by us and they have threatened us.

https://blog.janchristensen.net/2022/02/nr-2982-na-truer-hilde-olea-simonsen-og.html

31.) In such a case as with us, we have been promised meetings etc. They hang up when they themselves or we call them. We are the ones who have behaved professionally, while they should have behaved professionally. Are angry, hot-tempered, threatening and much more. That we should then conform to their orders after they themselves have guided us to build the wall. Surely that can't be right?

https://blog.janchristensen.net/2021/11/nr-2656-vi-matte-sende-klage-pa-en.html

32.) We believe that a number of service errors have been committed here. The Administration Act has been notoriously broken as we have not received answers to most of our questions, or counter-questions. We are treated badly, and have to put up with it. PBE and the public sector are the professional parties here. Then one should expect more from them than us? The fact of the matter is that this is not the case in any way. Tragic, but fact in this case. https://blog.janchristensen.net/2022/01/nr-2966-det-er-min-og-min-kones.html

33.) When Paal Løvaas for Ferdigattest Byggesak A/S applied for us, he wrote the following:

After an overall assessment, in our opinion, the advantages of granting a dispensation outweigh the disadvantages.
The considerations behind the provision and purpose in the plan are not significantly disregarded. Dispensation can be granted.
The owner of the initiative is surprised that residents in the immediate area should have been granted a dispensation for a built-up store (case 201316839 – Stormyrveien 9C). We are a little unsure whether there are major differences in that case and the present case, but we at least note that here too we are talking about an illegally erected storage room and that %BYA of up to 60% was stated in the case. We also note that the plot is covered by another regulation, without us being sure how that affects the assessment criteria. We also assume that PBE has an overview of the fact that no corresponding dispensations have been granted with regard to % BYA for similar measures in the scope of the Small House Plan.
(Quote end.)

It probably says it all when, for example, neighbor in Stormyrveien has been granted a dispensation on several occasions. Your applications are similar to something you do early in the morning around the table and write a few sentences and attach a picture or two. While we have had professional applicants who have designed the whole thing as an architect. They have used the plot 57 times more than us.
PBE come across as outright criminals and get away with it?
Others get to set up walls in the order of 2, 4, 8, 10 and X number of metres.
Never leave our lives if we give in to a criminal agency!!!!!!!!!!!

Witnesses to the trial.

1.) John Richard Øen from Eiker Husbygg near Mjøndalen.

2.) Berit Nyland Christensen, Oslo.

3.) Kaja Aubert Lange, employed at PBE and our former case manager.

4.) Lena Catrine Amdal, PBE Oslo.

5.) Marius Vamnes, Employee at the State Administrator.

Mention of our case can be found online in several places.
Also on Oslo Municipality's own websites.
Look here, you are only searching for Krokstien 2 c, or another relevant search.
Here for 1 example.
https://innsyn.pbe.oslo.kommune.no/saksinnsyn/main.asp?text=krokstien+2+c&doSearch2=S%F8k+i+sak+

The Himmelske blog, Søkelys and Extra newspaper have also written about this abuse from the public side against us.
https://www.extraavisen.no/
https://www.sokelys.com/
https://blog.janchristensen.net/

Attaches at the end some articles and other things. As written throughout this period this abuse has taken place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would also like to point out that we have joint accounts. Legally, everything Berit's is mine, and vice versa. Dividing and making something into a separate part, which the Bailiff tries to do, does not match the actual reality. We have everything in common, children, finances, cars, houses and absolutely everything. Nothing is separate, everything is common.

We prefer to have a lawyer, as we experience without a lawyer standing at the front on all lines, a lawyer also helps to share the responsibility!

We need money for Advokat, this is a voluntary gift which we use at our best discretion and ability to win over the public sector.
After the abuse, abuse of power and authority we have been exposed to.

For us, in our fight against the aggressors. Then it is perceived as "best" to have a lawyer.
That is why we are also trying to start a krone roll, where we probably need at least NOK 100,000 to hire a lawyer!
If you/you want to join, it is of course voluntary.

The authorities are after us Christians, so write down what you/you support gift!
Never know what the authorities are up to, they are criminals against us Christians in many respects.
They use rules against us, but they themselves can in many cases do exactly what they want and want!

Of course, we must follow Norwegian law/laws.
Those who follow Norwegian law the least are the authorities who protect themselves behind Norwegian law which they themselves break!
But enough about that, we want to follow Norwegian law anyway!

No. 1600: Our struggles as believers are not fair, as there are circumstances that God allows for us to be conformed to the image of God's Son - and that what lives in us must be tested and come forth!

No. 1600:

Our struggles as believers are not fair, as there are circumstances that God allows for us to be conformed to the image of God's Son - and that what lives in us must be tested and come forth!

Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego in the fiery furnace, where Jesus in his previous existence came to their aid, hallelujah

There are many accounts in God's word that tell about the background that happens in the spiritual world

It is also in other ways that we gain an insight into the fact that the events we experience as believers are staged by the evil one, his demons and evil people.
This is something that God allows and that is part of our nurturing, formation and testing as believers.
We do not avoid battles, testing and events that are in many ways not "well-deserved" or fair.
This is what the scriptures teach us, and we can look at some such incidents.
Where we start with Job and Job's book.

Job was tested and tested, we read that it was God and Job who "negotiated" how this testing and testing should take place

Job 1. 1. In the land of Uz there was a man named Job; he was a blameless and upright man, who feared God and shunned evil.
6 Then it happened one day that the sons of God came and presented themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. 7 And the Lord said to Satan: Where do you come from? Satan answered the Lord: I have gone and wandered about the earth. 8 Then the Lord said to Satan: Have you considered my servant Job? For there is no one on earth like him - a blameless and upright man, who fears God and shuns evil. 9 But Satan answered the Lord: Does Job fear God for nothing? 10 Have you not fenced about him and about his house and about all that is his, on all sides? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his flocks have spread far across the land. 11 But just reach out your hand and touch everything that is his! Then he will certainly say goodbye to you right to your face. 12 Then the Lord said to Satan: Behold, all that is his is in your hand; but against him himself you must not stretch out your hand. Then Satan departed from the presence of the Lord.

This is exactly what happened in Job's life, where you can read the full account for yourself

Job was tested and tried in the way that God and Satan agreed and agreed upon.
Job passed the test, and then Satan was not satisfied, and went to God once more.
This was before Golgotha, when Satan had a form of legitimate access to this, which he was deprived of after Jesus' victory over him on Golgotha. Today it is not like that.

Job 2. 1. Then it happened one day that the sons of God came and presented themselves before the Lord, and among them Satan also came and presented himself before the Lord. 2 And the Lord said to Satan: Where do you come from? Satan answered the Lord: I have gone and wandered about the earth. 3 Then the Lord said to Satan: Have you considered my servant Job? For there is none on earth like him - a blameless and upright man, who fears God and shuns evil; yet he is as blameless, and you have incited me without reason to destroy him. 4 But Satan answered the Lord: Skin for skin, but all that a man has he gives for his life. 5 But just reach out your hand and touch his bones and his flesh! Then he will certainly say goodbye to you right to your face. 6 Then the Lord said to Satan: Behold, he is in your hand; just spare his life!

Now Satan went much further in his testing and trial of Job. Now Job didn't just lose his property and sons

It was obviously bad, but had he managed and endured what Job had already gone through?
Now everything was to be tested and tried, except taking Job's life. Otherwise, it was really free for Satan.
God himself gives Satan permission, but his life shall be spared.

But a little later, after also being affected by a painful skin disease, poor Job just wants to die. Some friends who have come to comfort him instead start trying to find answers to "why". They believe that only ungodly men are afflicted with distress like this; The cause of Job's suffering must therefore be a serious, hidden sin. But Job protests, although he too wonders "why". He does not know that the Accuser (the devil) had been active behind the scenes and claimed to God that Job's godliness was false; it would probably evaporate immediately if he lost all the good things the Lord had spoiled him with. Then God let the enemy have a free hand. But he set a limit: Job's life had to be spared.

After the trial time was over, where the terrible skin disease Job contracted had completely broken him. Then everything was restored and more.
What Job went through was primarily for God to see. Or rather, everyone got to see what lived in Job's life and heart. Secondly, it is also God who allows this, as believing in God does not necessarily mean that we are free from suffering, trials and pain in this world as believers.
On the contrary, if anyone is truly tested, it is us believers!

Job 42. 0 And the Lord put an end to Job's calamity, when he prayed for his friends; and the Lord increased all that Job had to double. 11 And all his brothers came to him, and all his sisters, and all who had known him before, and they ate with him in his house and showed him compassion and comforted him for all the calamity the Lord had brought upon him; and they gave him each a kesitte and each a gold ring. / 12 And the Lord blessed Job's last days more than his first, and he got fourteen thousand sheep and six thousand camels and a thousand pairs of oxen and a thousand donkeys. / 13 And he had seven sons and three daughters. 14 He named one daughter Jemima, the second Kesia, and the third Keren-Happuk. 15 Women as beautiful as Job's daughters were not found in all the land; and their father gave them an inheritance among their brethren. 16 After that Job lived a hundred and forty years, and he saw his children and grandchildren in the fourth part. 17 And Job died, old and full of days.

We also meet this in the book of Daniel. Both about Daniel, and his friends Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego. They were also tested and tried, not in a fair way. But with the intention that the enemy - Satan would die and crush them!

The whole book of Daniel is instructive, but we stop for a bit with chapters 3 and 6, and then begin with Daniel 3.

Daniel 3. 1. King Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold, sixty cubits high and six cubits wide, and set it up in the valley of Dura in the province of Babylon. 2 And King Nebuchadnezzar sent out people who were to call together the satraps, the governors and governors, the chief judges, the treasurers, the jurists, the judges and all the officials of the provinces and bid them come to the consecration of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. 3 Then the satraps, the governors and governors, the chief judges, the treasurers, the jurists, the judges and all the officials of the provinces came together to the consecration of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up, and they came forward before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. 4 And the herald shouted with a loud voice: It is said to you, O peoples, families and languages: 5 As soon as you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, harp, lute and bagpipes and all other kinds of stringed instruments, you shall fall down and worship the golden image King Nebuchadnezzar has set up. 6 And whoever does not fall down and worship will be thrown into the fiery furnace at the same time.

Here, as is often the case today, tolerance went one way. Where everyone had to bow to the image support, if not. Then it waned certain death, the fiery furnace!
What now? We read in the scriptures that they were given the opportunity to bow, then they would receive mercy. If not, the Furnace awaits. What did Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego do?
The good book says the following:
Daniel 3. 16 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego answered the king: Nebuchadnezzar! We don't have to answer you a word on this. 17 Our God, whom we worship, is mighty to save us; from the burning fiery furnace and from your hand, O king, he will save. 18 But if not, then you shall know, king, that we will not worship your gods or worship the golden image you have set up. 19 Then Nebuchadnezzar was filled with anger, and the expression on his face changed as he looked at Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. He spoke up and said that the furnace should be made seven times hotter than they had found it good to heat it. 20 And he commanded some strong men in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and throw them into the fiery furnace. 21 Then these men with their shirts, coats and cloaks and their other clothes were bound and thrown into the burning fiery furnace. 22 As now the king's word was so strict, and the furnace had become so exceedingly hot, the fiery furnace killed the men who had brought Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego up there.

Now all hope was lost for these 3 Jews? No one could survive such a thing, then even those who carried Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego up into the fiery furnace were themselves killed

We read further in the good book the following:
Daniel 3. 23 But these three men, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego, were thrown bound into the fiery furnace. 24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was horrified and got up quickly. He spoke up and said to his councillors: Did we not throw three men bound into the fire? They answered the king: Of course, king! 25 He spoke again and said: But I see four men walking about loosely in the fire, and there is no harm to look at them, and the fourth looks like a son of God. 26 Then Nebuchadnezzar went to the door of the burning fiery furnace. He spoke and said: Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego, you servants of the most high God! Come out here! Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the fire. 27 And the satraps, governors, governors and the king's councilors came together; they saw that the fire had had no power over the bodies of these men, and that the hair on their heads had not been scorched, and that their shirts had suffered no damage; you couldn't even smell anything burnt on them.

We sing in a song, that the time of wonder is not over. This is exactly what happened.
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, were thrown bound into the fiery furnace.
What happened then? Did they burn up? No, an extra person came and they weren't scalded or burned anywhere. What a wonder, in that oven which obviously must have kept at least 1000 degrees.

We read further the reaction to this.
Daniel 3. 28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said: Blessed be the god of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who sent n angel and saved his servants, who put their trust in him and did against the king's word and risked their lives not to cultivate or worship any god but their god. 29 So now I give the order that whoever in his words opposes the god of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, whatever people or tribe or language he belongs to, he shall be cut in pieces, and his house shall be turned into a dunghill ; for there is no other god who is able to save in this way. 30 Then the king raised Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego to honor and dignity in the land of Babel.

These who defied both the King, his command and the punishment for this. They won the victory, were delivered and exalted. Yet, the God of Israel was not allowed to set aside.
And those who had been evil against Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. They were punished with death!

It is a reality to serve and belong to the living and true God. God is with, then who can be against?

We read in Daniel 6 about the same courage, faith and ability to stand against the enemy and evil in Daniel. As it was, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego were also able to stand against evil, and God was with them!
We read of Daniel that he excelled. Daniel 6. 4 But Daniel distinguished himself above the councilors and satraps, because there was a high spirit in him, and the king thought of putting him over the whole kingdom.

This in turn created envy and hatred among those who were then set aside by Darius, who was then the sole ruler of the Medo-Persian kingdom that had taken over from the Babylonian kingdom.
Then these who were hateful and envious of Daniel came up with something that would really hit Daniel very, very hard.

We read in Daniel 6. 5 Then the councilors and the satraps sought to find fault with Daniel, the ruler of the kingdom in question, but they could not find any fault or any wrongdoing, since he was faithful, and there was no wrongdoing or any wrongdoing in him. 6 Then these men said: We find no fault with this Daniel, it should be that we could find something to accuse him of in his worship of God. 7 Then these councilors and satraps rushed in to the king and said to him: King Darius live forever! 8 All the councillors, the governors and the satraps, the councilors and the governors have consulted that a royal decree should be issued and a strict prohibition given, that whoever prays to any god or any human being except to you, king, during thirty days, shall thrown into the lion's den. 9 So now, O king, issue such a ban, and let it be set up in writing, so that according to the immutable law of the Medes and Persians it cannot be revoked. 10 In accordance with this, King Darius had a writ drawn up with such a prohibition.

Here the alternative was clear. If you were to worship someone within 30 days, the only one you could worship was King Darius.
What did Daniel do then? Scripture says the following.

Daniel 6. 11 But as soon as Daniel learned that the writing had been set up, he went into his house; there in his hall he had open windows facing Jerusalem, and three times a day he bowed his knees in prayer and praise before his God, just as he had done before. 12 Then these men rushed in and found Daniel praying and supplicating to his God. 13 Then they went before the king and asked with regard to the royal ban: Have you not caused a ban to be set up, that every person who prays to any god or any person other than you, king, during thirty days, should be thrown into the lion's den? The king replied: That word stands firm according to the unchangeable law of the Medes and Persians. 14 Then they spoke up and said as they stood before the king: Daniel, who is one of the exiles from Judah, has not paid attention to you, king, or to the prohibition you have set up; He prays three times a day. 15 When the king heard this, he became very sad and thought about how he could save Daniel, and until the sun went down, he took pains to deliver him. 16 Then these men rushed in on the king and said to him: Know, king, that the law of the Medes and Persians applies that no prohibition and no decree that the king issues can be changed.

Here Daniel was now in a dilemma. He was "caught" in the act of breaking the Royal and Media-Persian law. The sentence was clear, to be thrown alive to the hungry lions. Here the output was only one thing. Eaten alive by the hungry lions.

There was a way out, which we read about later in the chapter

We read further what happened.

Daniel 6. 17 Then the king ordered that Daniel should be taken and thrown into the lion's den. And the king spoke up and said to Daniel: Your God, whom you always worship, may he save you! 18 Then a stone was brought forward and placed over the opening of the cave, and the king sealed it with his own seal and that of his nobles, so that there could be no change in what had been done with Daniel. 19 Then the king went home to his palace and fasted all night, and he did not let any of his concubines come in to him, and sleep fled from him.

Now all hope was lost, right? Daniel was eaten alive by these hungry lions?
Or had something out of the ordinary happened?
We know that God - our God - is the God of wonder in abad situations!
The scripture says the following:

Psalm 68. 20. God is a God of salvation for us, and with the Lord, the God of Israel, there are exits from death.

Was this for Daniel? Was he dead or alive?

Daniel 6. 20 Early in the morning, as soon as it was light, the king got up and hurried to the lion's den. 21 And when he came near to the cave, he called with a sorrowful voice to Daniel. He spoke and said to Daniel: Daniel, you servant of the living God! Has your God, whom you have always worshiped, been able to save you from the lions? 22 Then Daniel answered the king: May the king live forever! 23 My God sent his angel and shut the mouths of the lions, so that they have done me no harm, because I have been found innocent before him, nor have I done anything wrong against you, O king. 24 Then the king was very happy and ordered that Daniel should be dragged up from the cave; and when Daniel was drawn up out of the cave, there was no harm in him, because he had believed in his God.

Hallelujah, God saved Daniel from the lion's mouth. Scripture says:
"My God sent his angel and shut the mouths of the lions, so that they have done me no harm, because I have been found innocent before him, nor have I done anything wrong against you, O king."

Here God did a miracle for Daniel, he really wants to do that for all of us!
Daniel had death waiting for him, and it was they who inflicted these sufferings on Daniel. Which eventually ended up with the lions.

Daniel 6. 25 And the king ordered that the men who had complained about Daniel should be brought, and they remained with their children and wives thrown into the lion's den; and before they reached the bottom of the cave, the lions fell upon them and broke all their bones. 26 After that, King Darius wrote to all peoples, tribes and languages that existed on the whole earth: All good be yours in rich measure! 27 I hereby command that all people in the entire area of my kingdom shall tremble and fear before Daniel's God; for he is the living God, and abideth for ever, and his kingdom shall not be destroyed, and his dominion endureth unto the end. 28 He saves and delivers and performs signs and wonders in heaven and on earth - the one who saved Daniel from the lions. 29 And Daniel lived honored and happy both during the reign of Darius and Cyrus the Persian.

God always delivers his children - especially when we seek him. God's word says so clearly and clearly. Many, many places, here are two examples:

Psalm 50. 15 and call upon me in the day of trouble, and I will deliver you, and you shall praise me.
Psalm 34. 5 I sought the Lord, and he answered me, and he delivered me from all that terrified me. 6 They looked up to him and beamed with joy, and their faces never blushed with shame. 7 This wretch cried, and the Lord heard, and he saved him from all his troubles. 8 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. 9 Taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. 10 Fear the Lord, you his saints! For those who fear him are in vain. 16 The eyes of the Lord are turned to the righteous, and his ears to their cry. 17 The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off their memory from the earth. 18 They cry, and the Lord hears, and from all their troubles he delivers them. 19 The Lord is close to those who have a broken heart, and he saves those who have a broken spirit. 20 Many are the calamities of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him from them all. 21 He takes care of all his bones, not one of them is broken. 22 Misfortune kills the wicked, and those who hate the righteous are judged guilty. 23 The Lord redeems the souls of his servants, and none of those who take refuge in him are judged guilty.

Final comment

It is something extremely wonderful and wonderful to walk with God and Jesus.
It is as if none of the negativity, darkness, the world and evil's attacks and lies bite. There is victory in any area, even when it feels completely hopeless and darkness has gained a foothold and the upper hand. Always victorious in Jesus, over the enemy, the darkness and the world. I have presented here what the scriptures say and have included many scriptures so that you can chew and ponder over the words of the scriptures.
The glorious and wonderful experiences the saints had in the days of old. God is the same, Jesus is the same.

Hebrews 13. 8 For Jesus Christ is the same today as yesterday, and forever.

Yes, this is so strong and wonderful. It can't get any better than this

Will end with a song, a wonderful song.

In the shadow of that Cross there I will stand. There is balm for my soul to receive

So look my thoughts to Golgotha go,
where rest and strength for the soul I get.
Sometimes when I am weighed down by sorrow and trouble:
I hasten to the Cross, that place is dear to me.

In the shadow of that Cross, there I will stand,
there is balm for my soul to receive.
Many thousands stand there, but there is room for one and all.
Then come to Calvary with your heart's desire.

Behold, the man of sorrows took my sin and my shame.
In the heart there is a song of praise to Him.
And the sin that burdened me every day, every second,
He carried Him on the Cross, and I rejoice every moment.

My life is now hidden in His wounds and wounds.
Into God's presence boldly I stand.
If the world around me in anxiety now passes away:
on Golgotha the height so sure I stand.

King David beat the "big" enemies in his life - but he "lost" to the little ones, and that had disastrous consequences for his life, service and King's work!

The scriptures say that we must see to it that even the little foxes in our lives, the little things.
Do not get in and destroy and do damage.
For King David who won the big victories, but let some small foxes in. They caused him more damage than anything else.

Song of Songs 2. 15 Catch the foxes for us, the little foxes that destroy the vineyards! Our vineyards are in bloom.

1 Sam. 17. 33 But Saul said to David: You cannot go against this Philistine and fight with him; for you are young, and he is a man of war from his youth. 34 But David answered Saul: Your servant guarded the flock for his father; then a lion or a bear came and took a sheep from the flock, 35 I ran after it and struck it and tore the sheep out of its gap; and when it rose up against me, I took hold of its beard and struck it and killed it. 36 Both lion and bear your servant has killed, and this uncircumcised Philistine will go like them, because he has mocked the army of the living God. 37 Then David said: The Lord, who has delivered me from the power of the lion and the bear, he will also deliver me from the power of this Philistine. Then Saul said to David: Go! The Lord will be with you.

Psalm 51. 1. To the master of song; a psalm of David, 2 when the prophet Nathan had come to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. 3 Be gracious to me, God, according to your mercy, blot out my transgressions according to your great mercy! 4 Wash me well, that I may be free from iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin! 5 For my transgressions I know, and my sin is always before me. 6 Against you alone have I sinned, and what is evil in your eyes I have done, that you may be righteous when you speak, be pure when you judge.

King David's life and ministry are given a very large place in God's word, where we get an insight into his entire life and work from his youth. His manhood and old age

We can actually study his life in every way, not a single thing is left out.
The books of Samuel, the books of Kings, the books of Chronicles and the Psalms are his life most described. As well as occasionally in other places as well, as he is one of the Bible's most talked about people.
David's life - the insight that is given. Covers his entire life, ministry and Kingship. From his innermost thoughts, family life, Kingship, as a singer, prophet and warrior. The actual war tactics, how he listened for God's leading. The fact, everything. That is why his life is also so incredibly exciting to study.
Instructive and it is God himself who will assure us of this. Because we must follow suit, learn lessons and, if possible, win in all areas!

The scripture says the following:
Room. 15. 4 What has been previously written shall be for learning for us, so that in endurance, and with comfort from the Scriptures, we shall have hope.

There is a lot of learning, inspiration and King David is a role model in most respects.
But we read that he obviously also had his weaknesses, like all other people.
As far as I can read about King David, he was not able to take care of his children as he should?
Scripture opens up about this in several places, not least in the story of Absalom.

At the same time, there are both direct and indirect references here

When it comes to David, there are two Bible passages that point to the fact that he also did not raise his children as a Christian father should. We read in 2 Sam chapter 13 that David's son Amnon fell in love with his half-sister Tamar. He "took hold of her and said to her: Come and lie with me, sister!" Sleeping with or marrying one's half-sister was a mortal sin which the Law of Moses condemns in several places
(Leviticus 18:19, 20:17, Deuteronomy 27:22).
Against this background, it is striking that David's daughter Tamar replies to her half-brother who wants to take her by force: "Darling, speak to the king instead! He is not refusing you to have me.” (2 Sam 13:13)
Now this was a dramatic situation for the young girl, and David does not vouch for her answer, but it may seem as if the girl's general impression of her father is that he is lenient towards his sons, even in matters God's word speaks clearly about!
This impression is confirmed in 1 Kings chapter 1 where David's son Adonijah "thought himself high and said: I want to be king. And he got himself chariots and horsemen and fifty men who ran before him. His father had never in his life chastised him and said: Why have you done this?” (1 Kings 1:5-6)
In today's society, unfortunately, many people are brought up like this, without admonition, chastisement and correction.
My wife and I put a lot of emphasis on this, and considerable opposition was directed against us for this.
But I do not regret this, that we showed our children more than just love.
But also rebuked them and in that way showed them that there are consequences with choosing either right or wrong!

The second and most serious, of course, is a flaw in his own personal character

When we read about King David's many victories, one is not only overwhelmed. But totally, totally delighted.
He actually hiteveryone, regardless of condition.
He became in many ways invincible, except for one point in his life.
It was his sexual morality, here he failed to such an extent.
Scripture says:
Ecclesiastes 10. 1. Poisonous flies cause the anointing ointment to smell bad and ferment; even a little great folly destroys a man who excels in wisdom or honor.

All the attention directed at King David is for us to learn a lesson.
Do not make the same mistake, but remain standing after overcoming everything.

Ephesus. 6. 13 Therefore receive the armor from God so that you will be able to resist on the evil day so that when everything is completed, you will be able to stand.

1930 translation: Ephes. 6. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that you can resist in the evil day and stand having overcome everything.

In many ways, King David was the "perfect" man, whom even God gave full recognition and acceptance!

Ap.jj 13. 22 He was deposed, but David was installed as king, the one about whom he testified when he said: 'I have found David, the son of Jesse. He is a man after my own heart, and he will do all that I desire.' this word of salvation has now been sent to you.

Still, he had two major faults in his life. There, without a doubt, his moral failings were the very, very greatest. But why?
This is only speculation on my part. But it must be allowed to have some thoughts?

Imagine, you are much, much better than everyone else. So what comes in easily?
Courage. Could this be what hit David?
Imagine that you have some easy days after years of struggle and strife. Then you want to "disconnect". It can then easily also become one who "disconnects" himself from God, as it says the following about David:

2 Sam. 11. 1. The following year, at the time when kings usually go out to war, David sent Joab with his servants and all Israel, and they ravaged the land of the children of Ammon and surrounded Rabbah. But David remained in Jerusalem. 2 Then it happened one evening that David got up from his bed and walked around on the roof of the royal house; then he saw from the roof a woman bathing; and the woman was very fair in appearance. 3 David sent messengers and inquired about the woman, and they said: It is indeed Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite. 4 Then David sent messengers and had her fetched; she came to him, and he lay with her just after she had cleansed herself from her impurity; then she went home again. / 5 The woman became fertile; and she sent word of it to David, saying, I am with child.

It says in the proverb:
"In the right place at the right time!" but here you can turn it around.
"Wrong place at the wrong time."
Right up in Satan's net was David, where he had "too good a time" looking at the ladies. Here one can only speculate why David allowed himself to be tempted.
But the scripture is very clear here, God is not tempted. It is we who allow ourselves to be tempted and thus give Satan access into our lives.

James 1. 12 Blessed is the man who perseveres in temptation and is found worthy of the crown of life that God has promised to each one who loves him.
13 No one must say: 'God tempted me.' For God tempts no one like the wicked Kandake.** And he himself does not allow himself to be tempted by anything. *the queen of Ethiopia
14 Everyone who allows himself to be tempted is drawn away by his own desire, for that is what entices him.
15 And further, when lust is conceived, it brings forth sin, and when sin is full-grown, it brings forth death.
16 Be not deceived, dear brethren!

Here, in God's word, there is actually a direct reference to King David Son Solomon who was tempted and also allowed himself to be persuaded into sex outside of marriage.
We read in scripture.

Nehemiah 13. 26 Wasn't that what Israel's king Solomon sinned against? Among the many peoples there was no king like him, and he was loved by his God, and God made him king over all Israel; but even he was seduced by the strange women into sin.

It is important to have great experiences. Win victory and defeat the enemy!

But what do we learn from King David?
Much, but also a part of his fall and defeat is an important lesson.
We need to learn from his mistakes and sin as well.
It tells us again and again, that it is in our hidden life with God.
As it comes out how strong and possibly weak we are. Scripture says:

Col. 3. 3 For after you have died, your life is hidden in Christ together with God.

Who are you when no one sees you?

King David was not the conqueror, the victorious hero, the joyful Christian and the praise singer on the roof. He was actually a sex-fixated King who let his eyes run wild with him. Which resulted in a serious crash. Where he both committed adultery and became a murderer of a completely innocent man. Scripture lays this out in the open for all of us to learn. There is no doubt that we all at times let our flesh rule us, not a life close to Jesus and in the Spirit that the scriptures speak of is essential to living in victory.

1 John b. 2. 15 Do not love the world or anything that is of the world. For whoever loves the things of this world cannot have our Father's love in him.
16 For all that is of the world — the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes, and inflated pride of one's own means, is not of our Father, but of the world.
17 Done that is of the world shall be taken away with its lust. But he who does the will of God shall endure for ages.

I have listened to the testimonies of some who have told about their falls!

It happens again and again, that before the fall, something has been allowed to build up in one's inner man. Either through old experiences or by letting things come out of self-restraint and control in one's life. Which in turn has sooner or later resulted in cracks, falls and defeats.
This with King David is not a new phenomenon. It's just so important to learn lessons, so that we all don't do the same as him.
But be careful with all things in our lives, so that we win not just victory.
But more than victory in the name of Jesus!

Final comment:

It is this balance in our lives, where we do not always fight our most important battles with the greatest energy and vigilance. Where one could say that I won the most important battles in life. Not just the 2nd, 3rd and 4th most important.
Seen from God's eyes of the actual battle between Goliath and Bathsheba the latter far more important.
We humans are so busy with what you can touch and feel, but this is something that God has promised to help us with. Our morality - or lack of morality as it was in King David's life. It was the most important thing in his life. Notice what God says to him.

2 Sam. 12. 7 Then Nathan said to David: You are the man. Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul, 8 and I gave you your master's house and your master's wives in your bosom, and I gave you the house of Israel and Judah, and if it were too little, I would have given you even more, both the one and the other.

God had not spared the "sweets" in David's life.
He had received everything in all areas of life, nothing was left behind. Everything!
God himself says through the prophet Nathan the following:
"I anointed you king over Israel, and I freed you from the hand of Saul, and I gave you your master's house and your master's wives in your bosom, and I gave you the house of Israel and Judah, and if it was too little, then savages I have given you even more, both the one and the other."

Here, David was simply given everything, but still. He failed God and let his own ego come before God.
Money, success, career, development, sport, being well liked, prosperity and all these are what we humans long for. But in God's world these are "small things."
It is pleasing him and being obedient to him and his word in one and all that is of great importance. The scriptures say that we will receive everything else, if we put him first in our lives, hallelujah!

Matt. 6. 33 Therefore seek first the kingdom of God and its righteousness and you will receive all these things in addition.

Here it is clearly stated that everything that includes this life of material and other things, God will provide for us if we put him first, job done!

But one last lesson - perhaps the most important in David's life. He repented after being confronted with his sin. This is shown again and again with us humans, we cannot and will not live according to God's standard with our lives. Therefore it turns out - unfortunately! We need grace, forgiveness and restoration, time after time. The scriptures say about David the following which I bring to the end. That he confessed and acknowledged his sin, asked God for mercy and forgiveness.
He got that. Let us also take this lesson in from King David's life.

Psalm 51 1. / 7 Behold, I was born in iniquity, and my mother conceived me in sin. 8 Behold, you desire truth in the inmost part of your heart; then teach me wisdom in the depths of my heart! 9 Cleanse me from sin with hyssop that I may be clean, wash me that I may be whiter than snow! 10 Let me hear joy and gladness, let the bones that you have broken rejoice! 11 Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities! 12 God, create in me a pure heart, and renew a constant spirit within me! 13 Do not cast me away from your sight, and do not take your Holy Spirit from me! 14 Give me again the joy of your salvation, and keep me with a willing spirit! 15 Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will turn to you. 16 Free me from bloodguilt, God, God of my salvation! Then shall my tongue exult in thy righteousness. 17 Lord, fill my liver! Then shall my mouth declare thy reward. 18 For you have no desire for sacrifice, otherwise I would give it to you; You have no pleasure in burnt offerings. 19 Sacrifices to God are a broken spirit, a broken and broken heart you, God, will not despise. 20 Do good to Zion according to your mercy, build the walls of Jerusalem! 21 Then you will delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, in burnt offerings and burnt offerings; then they will sacrifice bulls on your altar.

No. 1598:

The children of Israel's exit from Egypt through the Red Sea - shows that God makes the impossible possible - he is the God of miracles!

Image of Jesus - our savior and Lord, who is the same today. Scripture says:
Heb. 13. 8 For Jesus Christ is the same today as yesterday, and in times.

Psalm 136. 10 him who smote the Egyptians in their firstborn, for his mercy endures forever, 11 and brought Israel out from among them, for his mercy endures forever, 12 with a strong hand and with an outstretched arm, for his mercy endures forever; 13 he who cut the Red Sea in pieces, for his mercy endures forever, 14 and let Israel pass through it, for his mercy endures forever, 15 And threw Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea, for his mercy endures forever; 16 him who led his people through the wilderness, for his mercy endures forever; 17 him who smote great kings, for his mercy endures forever, 18 and killed glorious kings, for his mercy endures forever,

We meet this account in Exodus through several chapters. And this is perhaps the greatest miracle seen that God did with the children of Israel as a whole. Like a miracle where the whole people got to take part in God's enormous miracle!

The reason for this - was that God sent his angel of death throughout Egypt. Where all firstborn sons of men and the message, died if the blood of the Lamb had not protected and saved them from Death and the Angel of Death!
The scriptures say that they were to slaughter a lamb without blemish, and take the blood from it. And smear it on the door beam and top door frame. Then the Angel of Death would pass it by.

It was here that the Passover lamb and the actual sacrifice of the Lamb were instituted, if there had been shadow images and precursors to this before.
Blue. through the sacrifices of Cain and Abel.

But after this, the children of Israel were allowed by Pharaoh to leave Egypt as a united people. When the Angel of Death had stunned all Egypt, and God had protected all the Jews through the blood of all the lambs that had been sacrificed. The blood which they had taken from it and smeared it on the doors where the Jews celebrated the first Passover.

1 Cor. 10. 1 Brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant that our fathers were under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea.

It was a united people, who were guided by God and Moses.
And the scripture also says the following:

1 Cor. 10. 2 All were baptized to Moses by the cloud and the sea.
3 All ate of the same spiritual food.
4 And all drank of the same spiritual drink, for they drank of the spiritual rock that followed them. And the Rock was Christ

But what was wonderful, and very special. God did not lead them on the easiest path, but on the most difficult. As God often does with his children. This is what the scripture says:

Exodus 14. 1. And the Lord spoke to Moses and said: 2 Tell the children of Israel to turn around and camp before Pi-Hakirot, between Migdol and the sea; opposite Ba'al-Zephon, there you shall camp by the sea. 3 Pharaoh will then say about the children of Israel: They go astray in the land, the desert has closed them in. 4 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, so that he pursues them, and I will reveal my glory on Pharaoh and on all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord. And so they did.

Here God did something that happens very often to us believers, God leads us into trials and difficulties. Because God will both test us and show us who he is.

After the children of Israel had been allowed to leave Egypt, Pharaoh changed his mind. He wanted his slaves back.
This was something he did not want, that the children of Israel should be allowed to leave Egypt.

Exodus 14. 5 When it was now reported to the king of Egypt that the people had fled, Pharaoh and his servants changed their minds against the people, and they said: How could we do this and let Israel go away from our service? 6 Then he had his chariot buckled and took his army with him. 7 He took six hundred chosen chariots and all the other chariots in Egypt, and men of war were on them all. 8 For the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, so he persecuted the children of Israel; but the children of Israel went out with uplifted hands. 9 Then the Egyptians pursued them and overtook them again when they were encamped by the sea, all Pharaoh's chariots and horsemen and all his army, at Pi-Hakirot, before Ba'al-Zephon. 10 And Pharaoh came closer and closer, and when the children of Israel looked around, they saw the Egyptians coming after them; then great terror came upon the children of Israel, and they cried to the Lord.

Now the children of Israel were really bad. The army of the time, for approx. 3400 years ago. Was this in military terms, the strong army of the time.
The children of Israel were slaves from Egypt, who had been miraculously delivered from this Army and Pharaoh. Because they had smeared the Lamb's blood on the doorposts and top doorpost. That was what constituted this enormous difference between these two peoples.
The blood of the lamb!

But now the same army they had escaped from was coming after them again. What now?
Walking with God is completely against all that is human give. Where our odds are far behind, what we want. And the enemy's odds of winning are always greater than ours.
This is God's way - always!

1 Cor. 1. 26 When I look at your calling, brothers, not many were wise according to the flesh. And not many were powerful or of high nobility.
27 But God has chosen the foolish in the world to put the wise to shame. And God has chosen the weak in the world to put the strong to shame.
28 The lowly in the world, those without influence, he chose, those who were nothing.
29 It was so that no flesh should boast over him.

Here it was also with the children of Israel, they were now in bad shape.
The enemy was so close that there was no way out of it all.
The situation was completely deadlocked.
The Egyptian was behind them and in front of them was the Red Sea where no one could cross and survive. At least a whole people with women and children.
The situation was deadlocked.

This is also how it is for us, which is why this is written here. For us to learn, for Satan or God has not changed since this happened. Much of the same thing happens in our lives, where the enemy will in one way or another confuse our lives and services. And God will lead us either through, or deliver us, hallelujah!

Room. 15. 4 What has been previously written shall be for learning for us, so that in endurance, and with comfort from the Scriptures, we shall have hope.

Ecclesiastes 3. 15 What is, was already before, and what is to be, has also been before; God seeks again the past.

What was God's answer to the children of Israel and Moses?
Engage in a complete defensive war, what the youngest men had to defend and fight against the strongest army of the time? What were they supposed to do? Here, good advice was expensive.
We read what God spoke in the story from the Bible.

Exodus 14. 13 Then Moses said to the people: Fear not, now stand here and see the Lord's salvation, which he will send you today! Because as you see the Egyptians today, you will never see them again in eternity. 14 The Lord will fight for you, and you will be quiet.

Note God's word and promises, HE WILL FIGHT!!!!
YOU SHOULD BE QUIET!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the basic text it says like this, somewhat freely translated.
Jehovah/Yahweh will fight in your place, and you will behave calmly or in silence!

This was now no longer their dispute - but the Lord Jehovah God Amen!

We have many examples from the scriptures, when men and women of God came up in difficulties.
Things arose that meant they had no natural ways out of it all!

Very often when we are in a fight, we all do it wrong time and time again. It is that we will try to solve the situation ourselves in one way or another. Even when God has said, do nothing. I am thinking of an account from Jesus himself, when he had said to the disciples. We go over to the other side.

Mark 4. 35 When it was evening that same day, he came and said to them: "Let us go over to the other side."
36 Then they left the crowd and got into a boat. Other boats were also with them.
37 Then it blew up with high storm waves that hit the boat so hard that it was about to fill.
38 But Jesus was lying in the stern and sleeping on a pillow. The disciples weighed him and said: "Teacher, are you not afraid that we will perish?"
39 Then he stood up, threatened the wind and said to the sea: "Quiet. Be calm." Then the wind died down until it was completely silent.
40 And he said to them: “Why were you so afraid? Have you no faith?”
41 Then they became very anxious and said to each other: "Who can this be that both the wind and the sea obey!"

After a hectic day with lots of people and lots of teaching, Jesus and the disciples wanted to be by themselves. They crossed over to the other side of the Sea of Galilee. It is quite possible to get across in a short time as the lake is a lake which today is 13 km wide at its widest and 21 km long.
But notice what the Son of God said, he who is the way, the TRUTH and the life.
“Let's go over to the other side.”
Jesus himself was thus in charge, he said that they should go over to the other side.
It is obvious that here it was Satan and the demons who somehow caused this storm.
Jesus slept, it says, and then the enemy had an opportunity to enter which he took advantage of.
The scriptures say about God, the same applies to Jesus.

Psalm 33. 9 For he spoke, and it came to pass; he bid, and it was there.

When God has said something, should we trust this or not?
Here the disciples became uneasy, because the following happened:
"Then it blew up with high storm waves that hit the boat so hard that it was about to fill up."
Jesus' words still applied, that they should go over to the other side.
They did not need to worry, Jesus himself was asleep.

The disciples troubled the Master, but he was in control.
Jesus says the following about himself:

Matthew. 28. 18 And Jesus came forward, spoke to them and said: All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me; (1930 translation.)

Back to the children of Israel's way through the Red Sea. God spoke to Moses and the children of Israel that he should fight for them, and they should be quiet.
It is also the case today, that what God says to us. We have to and will arrange that follow us, then victory is within reach.
No one is like the Lord in war, he is invincible!

Exodus 15. 3. The Lord is a warrior, the Lord is his name.

Now it says that they had reached a critical point, the writing says:

Exodus 14. 19 And the angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; the pillar of cloud that was before them moved and stood behind them, 20 so that it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; on one side it was cloudy and dark, and on the other it lit up the night; and one camp did not enter upon the other all night.

This was like the Lord's "Time-out" where neither the Egyptians nor the children of Israel could do anything great. Then God got his opportunity, which we will look at.
We are reading:

Exodus 14. 21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the Lord drove the sea away with a strong east wind, which blew all night, and he turned the sea into dry land, and the waters parted. 22 And the children of Israel walked through the midst of the sea on dry ground, and the water stood as a wall on their right and on their left.

Here God performed a miracle for the children of Israel. An easterly wind – a strong one – blew all night. So that there was a "tunnel" free of water for the entire Jewish people. They could pass from one side – the rock – to the other side.
They truly saw the Lord's salvation.

But what happened to the Egyptians? Did they experience God's miracle?
Yes, but to judgment, destruction and disaster.

Psalm 106. 7 Our fathers in Egypt did not heed your miracles, they did not remember your many graces, but were stubborn by the sea, by the Red Sea. 8 But he saved them for his name's sake, to declare his kingdom, 9 and he threatened the Red Sea, and it became dry, and he let them pass through the depths as in a desert, 10 and he saved them from his hand which hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy, 11 and the waters hid their adversaries, not one of them was left. 12 Then they believed his words, they sang his praise.

What is shown time after time, we as believers are invincible when we walk with God. The losses and defeats we get. Comes from either our unbelief, disobedience or simply not being able or willing to listen to our God and Father.

There are an incredible number of examples of this in scripture. One is with King David, who we read about in 1 Chronicles. 14. 13 But the Philistines came again and spread out into the valley. 14 And David asked God again, and God said to him: You shall not go up after them; turn away from them and take a detour, so that you come upon them in the midst of the baka trees, 15 and when you hear the sound of steps in the tops of the baka trees, then you shall go forth into battle; for God has gone out before you to smite the army of the Philistines. 16 David did as God commanded him, and they defeated the army of the Philistines and pursued them from Gibeon to Gezer. 17 And David's name went forth into all the lands, and the Lord caused the fear of him to come upon all the peoples.

The first time King David had gone after the Philistines.
1 Crown. 14. 10 Then David asked God: Shall I go out against the Philistines, and wilt thou deliver them into my hand? And the Lord answered: Get out! Then I will give them into your hand.

So did King David and Israel. But the second time they should not rush in, they should use cunning and prudence. Walking with the Lord is not like driving on a highway, that everything goes straight ahead. Above all, it is important to listen. So do. The scriptures are very clear on this, that hearing and doing is the thing. Don't just do, but hear and do.

1 Sam. 15. 22 Then Samuel said: Surely the Lord has as much pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obedience to the Lord's words? No, obedience is better than sacrifice, obedience better than the fat of rams; 23 for obstinacy is no better than the sin of sorcery, and defiance is like idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, he has rejected you, so you will not be king.

This is what became King Saul's bane, he always acted.
In the world this goes, but not in God's church. It is our downfall with too much energy, too much human muscle power.
This is not where the victory lies for us believers. But in the Lord and he alone.
Scripture says:

Zechariah 4. 6 Then he spoke and said to me: This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might and not by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord God of hosts.

The children of Israel won victory over the Egyptians, why? The Lord fought for the children of Israel. But they also had the patience and ability to listen for the Lord, without it. No real victory. They walked with the Lord, then there was victory. The scripture says the following:

Exodus 15. 16 Dismay and terror fall upon them, by the power of your arm they are speechless as stone, while your people go forward, Lord, while the people you have won go forward. 17 You bring them in and plant them on the mountain of your heritage, the place you have made for yourself, Lord, the sanctuary, Lord, which your hands have founded. 18 The Lord will be king forever. 19 For when Pharaoh's horses with his chariots and men went out into the sea, the Lord caused the waters of the sea to return over them, while the children of Israel walked on dry land in the midst of the sea.

We read poh wonderful, that the Lord really fought for Moses and the children of Israel. They were defeated by the Lord and his angels.

Exodus 14. 22 And the children of Israel walked through the middle of the sea on dry ground, and the water stood like a wall on their right and on their left. 23 And the Egyptians followed and followed them to the middle of the sea, all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots and horsemen. 24 But at the time of the morning watch, the Lord looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud on the camp of the Egyptians, and he confused the camp of the Egyptians, 25 and he struck the wheels of their chariots, so that it became difficult for them to come forward. Then the Egyptians said: Let us flee from Israel; for the Lord fights for them against the Egyptians. 26 Then the Lord said to Moses: Stretch out your hand over the sea, and the water will return over the Egyptians, over their chariots and their horsemen. 27 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and when it fell toward morning, the sea returned to its usual bed, and the Egyptians immediately fled towards it; and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians into the midst of the sea. 28 The water returned and hid the chariots and horsemen of Pharaoh's whole army, which had come after them into the sea; not a single one of them remained. 29 But the children of Israel walked on dry land in the middle of the sea, and the water stood like a wall on their right and on their left. 30 Thus the Lord saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians lying dead on the seashore. 31 And when Israel saw the great work the Lord had done with the Egyptians, then the people feared the Lord; and they believed in the Lord and in his servant Moses.

By the Lord - we as believers are invincible.
Because in Christ Jesus, we always have victory, no matter the odds.

Final comment:

They now stand by the sea of glass and "--- they sing the song of God's servant Moses and the song of the Lamb,"

What is Moses' song? It was the one that was sung when they were freed from captivity, and the bad time in Egypt. When they arrived at the Red Sea, something strange happened. "Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the Lord drove the sea away with a strong east wind that blew all night. He turned the sea into dry land, and the waters parted. And the children of Israel passed through the midst of the sea on dry ground. The water stood like a wall on their right and on their left.” (2 M 14,21-22).

When the Egyptians tried to pass through the sea, "--- the waters returned to their bed." (2M14,27). And all the Egyptians drowned. "Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song of praise to the Lord: I will sing praises to the Lord, for he is highly exalted. Horse and rider he plunged into the sea. The Lord is my strength and my praise, he became my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, the God of my father, and I will exalt him.” (2 M,15,1-2).

It is the same God we serve today that Moses and the children of Israel did.
It is entirely possible to win victory and that with God all things are possible.
The God who was in Moses' time is the same today.
The Lord, YHVH, revealed himself to his chosen servant, Moses, and told him who he was and commissioned Moses to lead the people out of slavery in Egypt. From generation to generation, the children of Israel were to call him Lord and have no other gods besides him (Exodus 20:3) nor worship and serve them (Exodus 20:5).

The enemy can camp around us, sometimes on all sides.
But God's word and God's promise is that the Lord will deliver us from all tribulations and all evil people!

Psalm 34. 7 This wretch cried, and the Lord heard, and he saved him from all his troubles.
8 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.

As God was with Moses and the children of Israel, He is with us today.
There is no tribulation or difficulty that is too great for him.
All situations in our lives, God had a way out of for Moses and Israel.
He has the same for all believers at all times under all conditions.

Heb. 11. 23 By faith Moses hid
24 By faith, after he had grown up, Moses refused to say that he was the son of Pharaoh's daughter.
25 He preferred to have to suffer with God's people rather than have a momentary joy in the pleasure of sin.
26 He thought that drawing near to Christ was greater riches than the treasures of Egypt, and he looked forward to the reward.
27 By faith he went out of Egypt without fearing the wrath of the king. And he endured because he envisioned him who is invisible.
28 By faith he performed the passage and the sprinkling of blood so that he who destroyed the firstborn of others should not touch theirs.
29 By faith they crossed the Red Sea on dry land, but when the Egyptians tried to do the same, a flood came upon them.
