Nr. 223: Trials are a test of who we are and where we stand!

Nr. 223:

Trials are a test of who we are and where we stand!

God wants us to understand why he allows trials, difficulties, suffering and the negative and sometimes hurts.

Proverbs 24:10 Showing thou discouraged in the day, then your power ring.
James 1 2 Act it all joy, my brethren, when I come in all sorts of temptations,
3 Knowing that the trying of your faith worketh patience;
4 but patience must lead to the perfect work, that ye may be perfect and complete, not lacking anything.
12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he has stood his trial, he shall receive the crown of life which God has promised those who love him.

Self-centered believers

It is always sad, self-centered believers, even if they do not have it easy. We must understand and know the trials and tribulations, it is "normal" and belong to a Christian life.

Acts 2:22 p.m. as they strengthened the souls of the disciples and exhorted them to continue in the faith, saying: We must go into the kingdom of God through many tribulations.
Philip Pens Fighters 1:29 For unto you it was wished, for Christ's sake - not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for his sake,
2 Timothy 3:12 And all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
1 Peter 5:9 against him, steadfast in the faith, for I know that the same afflictions are added to your brethren in the world.

Clear evidence that the trials, difficulties and even suffering is the "normal" for a believer. Even though we are innocent, we as believers, "expect" to be denigrated and stamped. We can not help but affirm that illness is a reality that still exist 2000 years after Jesus disarmed the powers and authorities and put them openly as he showed himself, triumphing over them in it. God has all power in Heaven and on Earth, and could without any further effort to remove all suffering if it was not a feature of his eternal plan.
Many would like to clear God by claiming that he has nothing to our conditions to do, but frankly I find not much consolation in that thought. We really worship a God who does not know about our suffering? Or someone who is a helpless spectator of the Devil's devastation with their children? No, let us be clear at once that God not only knows about but is closely involved in our suffering. Let us go to the Bible to see what we can learn about God's purpose in suffering:

Beloved wonder you are not over the fire that comes over you at trial, as if it happened to you, nothing strange, but in the same wonder that I share in Christ's sufferings, you shall delight you, that even in his glorious revelation you may rejoice with exultation .
1 Peter 4:12-13

Verse 12 says we should not wonder when we fall into trials, as if there was something strange. When you experience a trial is not something out of what God has prescribed as normal. It is an integral part of God's plan for the Christians, that our joy will be complete.
In verse 13 I want you to notice the words "the same goal." These words are key to understanding the meaning of this section. We will rejoice "in the same measure" as we share in Christ's sufferings. If we have little share in his sufferings, we therefore look forward slightly. If we have a large share in his sufferings, we rejoice correspondingly large. This is because we will rejoice with exultation in his glorious revelation. Does not this mean, in other words, when we learn to know Jesus in the fellowship of His sufferings, so does this affect our pleasure in his glorious manifestation of the same positive direction? Yes, it is also the way we deal with difficulties, trials and sufferings that shows where we stand as believers and who we really are. Quoting again from Proverbs book one of my "favorite" verses in the Bible.

Proverbs 24:10 Showing thou discouraged in the day, then your power ring.

Faith Movement teachings claim that we as believers should have no trouble or anything negative when God is only "good"!

This sounds in many ways right. But we have a flesh to contend with all other people have and what is the biggest and most difficult truth is that this world, God is not God the Father, but Satan.

1 Corinthians 3:19 for the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written: He catches the wise in their wisdom,
2 Corinthians 4:4 in whom the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers minds, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is God's image, not to shine for them.

Now we can state that the trials and tribulations, it is "normal" Christian life. Yet should never be our main focus, as this is "given" us or permitted by God to teach him better to know ourselves and others!

10 different types of difficulties and trials

1) Persecution because one believes in Jesus and God's word, this type of difficulty is real here in Norway, was just a believer refused a job at Ullevål Hospital because he believed in biblical creation story and not BigBang is nonsense.
It is not only in the 3rd World persecution, even here in Norway and elsewhere in the western world.

Heb. 13. 3 Come prisoners in mind that their fellow prisoners, those who suffer evil, since the self is in the flesh!

2) Over the religious or other faiths. Ishmael will always pursue Isaac. There will always be conflict between the carnal and spiritual elements. Satan also uses false brothers and sisters who do not know better. There are those who believe that they serve God and t.o.m. to kill Jesus believers.

Joh. e. 16 1. These things have I spoken unto you that ye should not take offense. 2 They will expel you from the synagogues: yea, there comes a time when every one that beats you to death, to think that he shows God service. 3 And these things they do because they have not known the Father nor me.

3) The Bible describes that actually even the greatest of difficulty and trial of a self. There is an inner world in all of us who are the hardest and most important thing to overcome, it must and we will not be blind to. There lives an old Adam in us all demands.

Proverbs 25:28 Like a city whose walls are broken down and away, is a man who can not control his mind.
Prov 4:32 p.m. The long-suffering is better than a very quite, and who controls his temper than one who takes a city.

4) When the Israelites entered the land of Canaan as God said clearly to them that his blessing would get them to trial, because then they would soon forget God. Having the "light" and well is many times more difficult than to suffer and have a need, then for our flesh. We will make us a lot and forget God.

5. Genesis 8 7 When the Lord your God brings you into a good land, a land with flowing streams, with springs and deep water, springing forth in valleys and on hills, 8 a land of wheat and barley and vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land with olive trees and honey, 9 a land where you shall eat your bread in poverty, where nothing should be lacking, a land where stones are iron, and where you can cut out the copper from the mountains, 10, and then when you eat and are satisfied and laws the Lord your God for the good land he has given you, 11 when the guard thee to forget the Lord your God, so you do not keep His commandments and his statutes and his laws, which I command you today, 12 and guard thee that you do not, when you eat and be fed, and build good houses and live in them, 13, and your cattle and your sheep increased, and thy silver and thy gold is increased, and all your property is increased, 14 that you not exalt thee in your heart, then you forget the Lord your God who brought thee out of Egypt, the house of bondage.

5) There is a trial to be neglected, ignored and lied for one believe in Jesus. We as believers must often be prepared to play 2 violin although it would not be so. God of this world is Satan, he knows how to manage people through the tank and the flesh will and way, the costs for a believer to experience this,
Matt. 5. 10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for the kingdom of heaven is theirs. 11 Blessed are ye when they revile you and persecute you and lie to you all kinds of evil for my sake. 12 Rejoice and be glad you! for your reward is great in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets before you.

6) The community around is also a trial. Just think of all the ungodly acts and that, unfortunately, will not most people be saved. That in itself to be different than most others. Be light and salt against decay, it is helpful try. It is only when the kingdom of God breaks forth that society will not be an ordeal, but it will only be a great blessing.

Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt loses its savor, what shall it be salted? The pigeons are no longer good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under foot of men.
Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light, a city set on a hill can not be hidden.

7) Going to the Lord's way will always lead us into a life of deprivation, confusion and other things that will put us on trial. Although this is God willing, we have to "cope" with our Gets Daring, Jesus had his sweat and blood.

Heb. 5. 7 And he has in his flesh days with strong crying and tears up worn prayer and cry to him who could save him from death, and he was heard for his godly fear, 8, and thus he learned, although he was the Son of obedience through what he suffered , 9, and when he was finished, he ophav of eternal salvation to all who obey him 10 and was called by God high priest after the order of Melchizedek.

8) Opposite to finish the race, get the game out with Jesus to the bitter end. It will always cost to be faithful for life and all life's struggles. We want to win some victories so retire, but it is not. My whole life is a war said Job, it is not there for us all? Yes!

Eph. 6. 13 Take therefore the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and stand after having done all.
Matt. 24. 13 But he that endureth to the end, he shall be saved.

9) Very often we are people like that, we cope with and overcome in all areas of our lives. But there is one thing that we have not said that, that break us if we are not just there taking up the struggle and triumphs. If for instance seen that many who are re-married as believers condemn others, not to mention the homosexuals. What use is it to condemn and to point out the homosexual life if not even live right? Nothing!

4M 32:23 But if you do not, when you sin against the Lord, and ye shall know that your sin will find you.
2Sam 12:5 When David was mighty angry with the man, and he said to Nathan, As the LORD lives, the man who has done this shall die, 6, and the lamb he shall pay fourfold, because he did this and did not show mercy . 7 Then Nathan said to David: You are the man! Thus says the Lord God of Israel: I anointed you king over Israel, and delivered you out of Saul's hand.

10) For some others, there are many little things that work directly damaging and breaking than. It is not the big things or one big thing, but all things together. All this is to put our lives under attack and we want to experience life as a trial or test. But all this is God wanted to know what lives in us and we will win after having won it all.

Song of Solomon 2 15. Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards! Our vineyards are in the flower.

Conclusion:

Testing shall we greet "welcome" but never go to them, they come, make you sure?
It is when the ordeal fire going over our lives that truly reflects who I am and you are. One day we will stand before God with our lives, then it will prove whether we are saved and receive full pay. Or we lose our everything. The worst and heaviest is to lose salvation, but it is also possible to lose the grace of our wages. That in itself would put us in the harness to hold out until the end and be true against our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

James 5 11 See, we praise them blessed who suffer patiently. I have heard of Job's patience and put it out as the Lord did, the Lord is exceedingly merciful and compassionate.

Let us all be like Job, who was the match out, his first victory in 12 hour as Jesus. It is very often the case for all of us, it's on the run course will be decided!
We all know the story of the hare and distinguish toad, the toad was a distinction that prevailed in the end even if the hare led almost the entire race. Skilpadda and the hare would both be in a race. Haren had often made fun of divorce toad because it was so slow. "Why should you be running, you have such short legs?" laughed scornfully, "with my quick, agile legs, I will soon be the goal." Skilpadda smiled and said quietly: "You may be right that I'm slow. But I'll bet that I'll win this race."
This is an easy-bought victory thought the hare when they set off. Haren soon had a good head start, the sun baked and it was hot, and he soon decided to take a break across a hillside. Meanwhile trudged distinguish toad further down the road, quietly and smoothly went the meter by meter. Haren had fallen asleep and dreamed of sweet victory and carrots. Eventually he awoke, it was time to run on. Skilpadda was not to be seen anywhere. He went over stock and stone, uphill and down. Soon he could make out the target area. - But what was it? Near the finish line race differs toad and it passed and was in goal right in front of the hare. It is so important and that we are aware that we will be the fight of their lives. When will we receive notification salary and the crown of Jesus!
