Nr. 180:

It is to remarry or marry a divorced bringing over into spiritual darkness and scripture warns against!

Luke 16 18 Whoever separates himself from his wife and marries another woman, he commits adultery, and whoever marries a woman divorced from her husband committeth adultery.

John the Baptist

From Wikipedia: King Herod Antipas had him beheaded at the request of his wife Herodias, his half brother's former wife. This was the Jewish opinion regarded as illegal, and John had condemned the marriage, which meant that she hated him. King John was caught in a place that will be identified as a fortress Machaerus, fifteen miles east of the Dead Sea. During Herod's birthday dancing Herodias' daughter Salome and as thanks for his performance Herod said that she would wish for what she wanted. Salome went to his mother and asked what she would wish for, and Herodias told her to pray for John's head on a platter. He was buried by his followers in Sebaste in Samaria. (End of quote).

What was the reason? We read in the New Testament about this:

Matt. 14. 1 At the time, was Herod the tetrarch heard the fame of Jesus,
2 and he said to his servants, This is John the Baptist: he is risen from the dead, and therefore it is these forces are at work in him.
3 Herod had seized John and bound him and threw him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife.
4 For John said to him: you are not allowed to have her.
5 And he wanted to kill him, but feared the people, because they held him for a prophet.
6 But when it was Herod's birthday, dancing Herodias' daughter for them, and Herod thought of her;
7 Therefore he promised with an oath to give her what she would ask.
8 But she said after her mother's advice: Give me here John the Baptist's head on a platter!
9 And the king was ill at ease, but for their guests and for your sake he ordered that it should be given her;
10 and he sent his men away, and had John beheaded in prison.
11 And they brought his head on a platter and gave it to the girl, and she brought it to her mother.
12 And his disciples came and took his body and buried it, and they went and told Jesus.

This is a remarkable and instructive story. What was it that made the Baptist was beheaded? It was that he preached against what he showed was wrong and afraid and was willing to stand up for truth, it cost him his life.

What was he preached against? Remarriage, that after Moses had a promise not allowed to marry his brother's wife while his brother was still alive.

5Mos 25:5 If brethren dwell together, and one of them dies, having no son, then the deceased's wife does not marry a stranger outside the family: her husband's brother shall go in unto her and take her to wife and thus her true in his brother's place.

It was ordained of God that first had to be his brother's death, she could be married to the other brother, not before.
This is where the game today also stands, we are careful with the word of God, or we let it be the world standard that prevails?

We live in the New Testament

There are basically only death that makes a marriage no longer applies and one can remarry. This should be standard and what will prevail, primarily among the preachers and the leadership in the church. Secondly, among all others in the congregation.

What about those who are re-married without a legal reason?

Scripture is clear here. They must first be accosted both one and two times, and if they do not want to hear, let them be as a heathen to the church and they should be excluded in the church. Why is there never exclude longer, and if they exclude some, it is because they are God's words and creates inconvenience and problems with it. So far, apostasy come. And where will it end?

The Bible speaks against homosexuality, but also remarriage

When a continuously trickles out that God hates sin and homosexuality, but ignore what is far more important and extensive. When I think of remarriage, etc. Then one really got into a spiritual dead end. It's the same Bible and the same God who speaks against remarriage and homosexuality, there's no difference!

Wish no gjengiftede preachers and leaders in the church

Now the apostasy come so far, but I say in the still, the desire never to live to God's word of welcome into the church as preachers. That there are some who have not gotten it all the way to get to sing a song or say a few words, we can not really do much and should not do anything nor ever. But when preachers and singers and others who are both divorced and re married that believers will grind on the platform, then we release the demons free in the church weather you sure?

Patriarchal society

We live in a very special time where it is actually harder than ever to live right and clean with God, for several reasons. One of the main reasons is lack of respect towards parents and other dignitaries. It is sad to see that everyone, especially young people take themselves so to the right and choose not God and their parents to live a life of sin, rebellion and laid the flesh completely dominate and take control!
This here is written for us in the end times in particular.

2. Tim. 3. 1. But this you shall know that in the last days it shall come perilous times. 2 For men shall be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, untrustworthy, slanderous, immense, umilde, despisers of good, 4 treacherous, impetuous, opblåste, such as love their lusts higher than God, 5 which has a form of godliness but denying its power - and those you should turn from thee.

The Catholic church

In fact, it soon only and alone the Catholic Church who remained in the marriage, as the word of God speaks of this. They are not ahead of its time, but they are stuck on the word of God in this time, at least at this point. I have met several Catholics who look down on us Protestants at the head does not follow God's word more at this point. Where everything is soon accepted as "grace" accept everything and accept everything. This is not the biblical grace, but an occasion to the flesh, the world and the demons!

It is not an agenda against anyone, but what God's word says about this

One of the most sad is that so many perceive it to be negative, critical, etc. And I have an agenda against something when I have "succeeded" in my life. This is so wrong it may have remained, I like all need God's grace and people's every day, not to mention their spouse after one has received forgiveness from God. It is my goal and my purpose is to keep out what the scripture says, only that, Hallelujah!

Scripture warns, first and foremost against the re-marry and remarry a divorced, do a so engaged in a sexual sin and must suffer the consequences of it to see himself as an apostate and has nothing to do for a living church of God!

The truth is brutal

I excuse not myself to tell the truth how people today have turned to live, to marry in the hut and torment. Few children, cohabiting, and I do not know what, this invokes God's wrath and doom. This even Jesus warned against.

As Noah and Lot's day

Luke 17 26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall also the Son of Man days: 27 They ate and drank, they married wives and were given in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark, the flood came and destroyed them all together. 28 In the same way - as it was in the days of Lot: they ate and drank, they bought and sold, they planted and built, 29 but the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all together - 30 so shall it be also in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

Before Jesus comes, there must be moral chaos more than anything else. Do we live in the times now? I think we have to say yes. The world's children stand and marry is not good, but this is not allowed among us Christians, then in particular among the leadership in all communities.

Keep marriage in honor

Includes the end of my commentaries Hebrews 13 4 Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage must not be pure,. For God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous. Coexistence must not tainted with the affair or that the faithful stand and marry again while the other lives. Infidelity and remarriage God will judge. Remarriage when referring to people of faith who marry again while the former spouse and right living. The remarriage is the sin that God will judge rather than someone else or is the audacity to marry a divorcee.
