No. 1297: With him is human power, but with us is the Lord our God. He will help us and fight our battles!

No. 1297:
With him is human power, but with us is the Lord our God. He will help us and fight our battles!

Assyrian reigned over ancient Palmyra which today is a ruined town from ancient times and an important archaeological site in Syria about 215 km northeast of the capital Damascus, in an oasis in the Syrian desert, right up to the modern town of Tadmur. We see a picture here there also avgudstemplet Sennacherib much possible was killed when he went up against Israel. Today this is an area for terrororg. Isil. The fruits by going against God and his people is always bad, and makes a it. So to their own destruction as the evil Haman!

This is taken in 2 Chronicles 32 where the Judean king Hezekiah Holding forth the word of God and the promises of God for those who are a true believer and follower God and his word.
To experience me and my family that the pilgrimage with the Lord is, the fight is there. And the enemy can sometimes seem superior, and bigger than us. But with us is a bigger and stronger than it is with them, which is why we as believers in the victorious and glorious page.

There is a song in English that is not translated in Norwegian which I played a lot in youth by Johnson Oatman, Jr. I will quote. I content myself with the refrain:

Oh, glory be two Jesus, look the Hallelujah roll;
Help me call the Savior's praises father and wide,
 For I've opened up tow'rd Hea-ven
All the windows of my soul,
And I'm living on the hallelujah side.

Here is the link to the song for whoever wants to hear the whole song and maybe translate this? http://www.hymntime.com/tch/htm/h/a/l/hallside.htm

Here from youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TpxbyN3D5E

We as believers no matter what we encounter in life so live and walk we Hallelujah ago, it is wonderful, wonderful, large and rich!

There is also a song in Norwegian by Aage Samuelsen which is very nice!

Look here:

HOUSING IN THE STREET HALLELUJAH

I have moved into Hallelujah street, price be to God,
and where I live with Jesus every day.
In my Father's house I rejoice, free from legal requirements and commandments
where are saved sinners of all kinds.

CHOIR

Do you know the house number,
there are seven, seven, seven my friend.
If you get there and you will see that Jesus lives than.
There he tablecloths table with fatness
and with clarified wine,
wants every free soul welcomed.

To get into the house must be bathed in His Word.
You must be washed clean of every sin pie.
Since you are in the saddle in the saved jubelkor,
who with the Father and the Son are one.

There is no place for gossip, criticism or jealousy,
but only thanks and praises to the Lord loved.
Songs and games to music, with tongues, interpretation, prophecy,
it is the sound of a real pinsevær.

You who live in the complaint street in a cramped and poor closet;
and living entirely on starvation rand.
Come to Hallelujah street, here everything is sore good,
everything is ready, a feast is prepared.

Back to the text, it tells us that we as believers are inferior world. But we shall triumph, then we really just an opportunity, it is putting our bit to the Lord. He will fight our battles, and then we will win the victory, only then!

What did King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah? After the mighty King mocked them, and God?
We read several places about this in writing, both in the Book of Kings, Chronicles and Isaiah.
In other words, this is an event that the word of God devotes large space, all this is written for our learning, Paul says to the Romans, and then it also applies to us.

Isaiah 37. 1. When King Hezekiah heard this, he tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and went into the house. 2 He sent Eliakim, the recorder Shebna and the elders of the priests, clothed in sackcloth, to the prophet Isaiah, son of Amos. 3 They said to him, "Thus says Hezekiah: This is a day of tribulation, discipline and dishonor. For children have come to the uterine mouth, but there is no strength to deliver. 4 Perhaps the Lord your God hears the words Rabshakeh, who is sent by his master, the king of Assyria to mock the living God. Perhaps the Lord your God will punish him for the words he has heard. Send now up prayer for the rest who are left! "
5 When King Hezekiah came to Isaiah, 6 he said to them, "Tell your master, Thus saith the Lord: Be not afraid of the words you have heard, the reproach that the king of Assyria have spoken against me! 7 Now I will give him the impulse that he will return to his country when he hears a rumor, and there I will cause him to fall by the sword. "
8 Then the commander came up, he found the king of Assyria fighting against Libnah. He had heard that he had broken up from Lachish. 9 The king received the notification that Tirhaka king of Nubia, was dragged out to fight against him. When he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying, 10 "Thus you shall say to Hezekiah king of Judah: Do not be fooled by your God that you are trusting, saying, Jerusalem shall not be delivered up to Assyria . 11 You have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all countries, how they have devoted them to destruction. And so should you be saved? 12 Are they been rescued by their gods, the nations which my fathers have consumed: the peoples of Gozan, Haran, Rezeph, and Eden peoples in Telassar? 13 Where are the kings of Hamath and Arpad, the king of the city Sepharvaim and kings of Hena and Ivva? "
14 Then Hezekiah had received and read the letter from the messengers had with him, he went up into the temple and spread it out before the Lord. 15 Hezekiah prayed to the Lord, saying, 16 "Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, you alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth, who created heaven and earth. 17 O Lord, give ear and hear; Lord, open your eyes and see! Hear all the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent to reproach the living God. 18 Lord, it is true that Assyria kings have added all countries and peoples deserted. 19 They have thrown their gods into the fire. They was not real gods, but the work of men's hands, made of wood and stone; therefore they could consume them. 20 But deliver us now from his violence, Lord our God, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you alone, Lord, are God. "

We read that the king leave everything to God, with the result that Isaiah got an answer from God, this was the Lord's battle. V. 14 Hezekiah had received and read the letter from the messengers had with him, he went up into the temple and spread it out before the Lord. (Key verse)

21 Then he sent Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto Hezekiah, says the Lord God: I have heard the prayer you prayed to me about Sennacherib king of Assyria. 22 And this is the word which the Lord speaks to him:
She mocks you and revile you,
        the virgin daughter of Zion;
She shakes her head after you,
        the young girl Jerusalem.
23 Who is it you violate and dishonor?
        Who do you advocated against?
        You lift your eyes high
        the Holy One of Israel.
24 You let your servants blaspheme the Lord
and said, "With my many chariots
I went up to the high mountains,
        far recesses of Lebanon.
I cut down its tallest cedars
        and cypresses.
I reached to the highest peak,
where the forest is like a garden.
25 I have dug for water
        and drunk of foreign sources.
The soles of my feet I dried up
all the rivers of Egypt. "
26 Have not you heard about this?
        I planned it long ago;
I designed it that way in ancient times,
and now I've put it into effect.
So could you destroy fortress cities
and turn them into heaps of ruins.
27 Those who lived there, standing with feeble hands,
        filled with terror and shame.
They resembled plants of the field,
the fresh green massively and grass on the roof,
which be burned off before it matures.
28 If you are sitting or standing,
whether you are coming or going,
        I have knowledge.
When you yell at me, I know about it.
29 But because you rage against me,
and I've heard how carefree you are,
I put the ring in your nose
and put bits in your mouth.
        I will bring you back
        the way you came.
30 This shall be the sign:
This year you shall eat what grows of games grains,
and next year grain that have sown themselves.
But in the third year sow and reap,
plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
31 The remnant of Judah who is salvaged,
        shall again take root
        and branches to bear fruit.
32 For from Jerusalem come a remnant,
from Mount Zion one band of survivors.
This will be the Lord of hosts,
        Forum zeal.
33 For thus saith the Lord concerning the king of Assyria:
He shall not come into this city
        or shoot an arrow there.
He will not come before it with shield
and not throw up a mound against it.
    34 The way he came he will return;
in this city he shall not come in,
        declares the Lord.
35 I will protect the city and save it
for my own and for my servant David's sake.

The result was a total defeat of the enemy, as here of the Assyrian army with Assyrian. The victory could not have been greater and that defeat is not worse! All were killed, and Israel as one man was rescued and saved!

36 Then the angel of Yahweh out and killed 185,000 men in the Assyrian camp. When people got up in the morning, they saw all the dead that lay there. 37 So Sennacherib king of Assyria, Sennacherib rose up and went home again. And since he stayed at Nineveh. 38 Once while he knelt in prayer in the god Nisroch temple, came his sons Adrammelech and Sharezer struck him with the sword. They got away and escaped to the land of Ararat. And Sennacherib's son Esarhaddon succeeded him as king.

Assyrian were even killed, and all his army was also beaten!

We read: "The Lord's angel out and killed 185,000 men in the Assyrian camp.
His sons Adrammelech and Sharezer struck him with the sword. "

This was "salary" to allow acceptance of the Lord, a total defeat, as happens with all those who oppose the Lord's servants who put their case within its the only true God.
He lives and reigns than today. I am so convinced that under no circumstances will be defeat for any of the servants of the Lord, not from today. Why? Because the Lord hath all power.
In GT it was Yahweh who had all the power, now Jesus has received it, temporarily.

Matt. 28 18 Then Jesus came to them and said: "I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.

This power he will have in 3000 years, now for 2,000 years through the Church Age.
Then comes the coming 1000 year kingdom of peace which Jesus will rule from Jerusalem, worldwide. So after this, he will give power back to the one true God, the Father.

1 Cor. 15. 27 For "all things under his feet." That says it all, it is clear that God himself is exempt from this. For he is the one who put all things under him. 28 And when so everything is subject to him shall the Son also himself in subjection to God who put all things under him; and God will be all in all.

Final Comment:

I would say, do the same. I try to always do this, put all things before God in prayer. Then we go to victory, even more than victory.

From my commentaries Hebrews 4 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time.

In the old covenant was necessary depending on the priest and the chief priest. What they did to you within its God. But in the new covenant is necessary depending on what Jesus is doing within its Father and that we squandered the opportunity we have in the blood of Jesus and come within its Father with everything and get answers to prayer and in the right time.

Heb. 10 19 So can we, brethren, by virtue of the blood of Jesus boldly into the sanctuary.

My commentaries File. 4. 6 Be anxious for nothing! But let all that you at heart, come to God in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let

Being worried is human but it is sin. God cares for us. Adding everything before God, write it down (Isaiah 37). I can testify to thousands prayer response, large and small. But I still have many needs and also unresolved answered prayer. Why does God sometimes and other times not? By asking open one up for God in his life and to others. Therefore pray regularly and be well maintained not give up so easily. Prayer answer is on the way, hold just like a little time.

7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

A sky joy and a heaven of peace will overshadow and in us. We do not have to beg God every time we approach him. He will listen and give us what we ask for. It is keeping praying and being active as a Christian. Spiritual laziness creates a lot of frustration and aggression. Praying, reading God's word and be an active meeting gangs creates peace and joy, as long as one does it for the Lord.
