No. 1204
King David had "peaked" delinquent list, but repented and "won" back all that he had "lost" when God is an exceedingly forgiving God!
Room. 15. 13 But God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in your faith, that you may abound in hope by the Holy Spirit!
Photo by Jan Aage Torp enough tops the list today and by a large margin. Does he give the patron to everyone and everything, but understand whatsoever that there are not others, but it is he who is the problem. Has he never once heard what King David said; "I have sinned!"
I believe that even in Jan Aage Torp can find God, he currently stands miles away!
He attacks even his own son, for both the one and the other.
But he is the father and pastor, as the family's "high priest" who is responsible for what has happened to his own family.
No wonder that he also attacks BV, Torp should consider himself lucky that he has no children living at his home. Had he had it today with the knowledge and everything that has emerged about Torp, as had the all appearances Torp and his former wife Ann-Christin been deprived children at emergency. The whole man and all he stands for've seen so nice and beautiful, but it has really been what Jesus says in Matthew 23 about Torp's true condition.
Matt. 23. 13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye shut up the kingdom of heaven before men! for even goes not enter, and those who are about to go in there, allowing you not to enter. 14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites devour widows' houses and for a pretense are making long prayers Therefore ye shall receive greater damnation. 15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites traverse sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him a hell child twofold more than yourselves! 16 Woe to you, blind guides, who say, If anyone swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is bound! 17 Fools and blind! what is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifies the gold? 18 And, if anyone swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is upon it, he is bound. 19 Ye blind! what is greater, the gift or the altar that sanctifies the gift? 20 Therefore, whoever swears by the altar, he swears by it and by all that is upon it, 21 and whoever swears by the temple, he swears by it and by him who lives in it, 22 and whoever swears by heaven, he swears by the throne of God and by him who sits on it. 23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cumin, and did neglect the weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy and faithfulness! This should be done, and not to neglect. 24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel! 25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye make clean the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess 26 Thou blind Pharisee cleanse first the cup and platter, that it also may become clean 27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye are like whited sepulchres, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness 28 So you also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. 29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye build the prophets' tombs and adorning the righteous tombs and says: 30 If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the prophets blood! 31 So that ye testify to yourselves that ye are sons who killed the prophets; 32 fill then also in your fathers goal! 33 In snakes! In vipers! How can you escape hell judgment?
Psalm 51 1 To the Chief Musician; a psalm of David, 2 when the prophet Nathan came to him after he had gone in to Bathsheba. 3 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness rash my transgressions according to your great compassion! 4 Wash me well, so I iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin! 5 For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. 6 Against thee only have I sinned, and what is evil in your sight I have done, that thou mayest be righteous when you speak, and be clear when you judge.
Has taken us who "peaks" offender list in Norway where there are many "good" aspirants.
But there is a person who had "peaked" it if he had lived today, it is King David.
He deceived his whole family was incredible. And on top of it all that he killed the man to her he was cheating with.
Can it get worse? Not particularly, but here is also the message of hope that is so exceedingly great and glorious!
Even for the "pastors" and others who tops located on delinquent list, there are opportunities and hope.
This is actually one of the Bible's most delightful truths. That also erring falling and disobedient believers can come back to God and gain new grace. Not only a drunkard and otherwise living without hope and without God.
But also for the one faithful who are gone astray!
Is not really the story in Luke 15 about the long-lost son, one account of the long-lost believers who change the grace of God?
Luke 15 11 And he said: A man had two sons, 12 and the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me! And he divided unto them his living. 13 And not many days afterward, the younger son all his belongings and went into a far country, and there wasted his substance property in a rear fixed realities. 14 But when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that country, and he began to be in want. 15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed pigs 16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the pigs ate, and no one gave to him. 17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father have a superabundance of bread, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father and say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee; 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me as one of thy hired servants 20 And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still far off, his father saw him, and he had compassion dearly, and ran to and fell on his neck and kissed him. 21 And the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. 22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and shoes on his feet, 23 and bring the fatted calf and kill it, and let us eat and be merry! 24 For this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found. And they began to celebrate. 25 Now his elder son was in the field, and when he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing; 26 and he called one of the servants to him and asked what this was. 27 He said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he got him back. 28 But he was angry and would not go in. His father came out and spoke kindly to him; 29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never given a kid that I might make merry with my friends; 30 but when this son of yours came, who has devoured thy living with harlots, thou killed the fattened calf for him! 31 And he said unto him, Son you are always with me, and everything I have is yours; 32 but we should rejoice and be glad: for this thy brother was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.
It is like if there is an apostate son coming home, or a sinner who has never earned or known God!
God's love in Christ Jesus is just as strong against all people, God has no favorites. He does not show partiality, but everyone can get back to him. Only they are paying the price, can be converted, and starts all over again!
What does it mean to receive the grace of contra not get grace?
I imagine several of those who have been alcoholics and drug addicts as an example. They've got a new life, but in a short time as acting individual - far from all - but some like they are world champions plus some.
I've thought about it several times, I had been so without passing the ramp and got a new start. I'd been so arrogant and cocky? If so, I would have thought so, that when have forgotten what once was, and what one has been.
In other words, after we have received grace from God. So we are generous toward others also. Whoever is much forgiven, does not behave as he / she is forgiven little. But that's not to say we should condone sin, God forbid!
We must always keep it in mind, that all people must be given a chance, if they will repent and believe the gospel. Even when it looks hopeless.
Luke 13 6 But he said this parable: A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. 7 Then he said to his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none; Cut it down! Why should it use up the earth to no avail? 8 And he answered him, Lord, let it alone this year also, until I dig about it and dung 9 if it bear fruit, well! if not, then you can cut it down.
These leaders whom I have spoken, also King David. God's word says that they have even the opportunity to repent to receive grace. This is forgiveness and opportunities that are far more than anyone can expect. But so great is the grace of God in Christ Jesus. Even for those people who have destroyed so much and so many. They have opportunities and the opportunity to start again. Talk about a forgiving and merciful God, but then apply it to seize the opportunity. It did King David, with the result that he got more grace afterward. Than he had been before his fall with Bathsheba and he killed her husband.
I wrote this in the header:
"King David had" peaked "delinquent list, but repented and" won "back all that he had" lost "when God is an exceedingly forgiving God!
Room. 15. 13 But God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in your faith, that you may abound in hope by the Holy Spirit! "
Photo of Ole Bjorn Melbourne which is probably the only one of the pastors who have been unmasked and stripped that has come with an honest and true recognition of own mistakes and guilt. It looks right promising for Ole Bjorn Melbourne who blames himself, not anyone else.
The fact that we as people get a chance no. Two, there are fabulous.
I never fell like King David or that these so-called Christian leader that I have mentioned. But in fact, had not I also got a chance no. Two, then it had been poorly cared for me!
We all need new grace - new genre - new opportunities!
But for those who have fallen or are living in sin is all the more urgent. For he / she is vital, or you lose the life of God. Imagine, from losing their lives in God, to so great grace. Such is God if we repent! Imagine, grace is so unfathomable and rich !?
I think again on the loose son - who at one moment was a stranger. The next day was n his son. If we study the text of Luke 15 saw was that he was the son - and then had all the rights and privileges that it was critical that he was restored to favor. Then began the opportunity over again!
Look at King David - the man is basically the most privileged man of all. Nest by Jesus when he should in a special way during the upcoming millennium be closest to Jesus of all.
He was dead because of their sins and transgressions, and his whole lives passed away, he writes about in Psalm 32.
Psalm 32. 3 When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day. 4 For day and night your hand was heavy upon me my life juice evaporated as the summer's drought. Sela.
What was the secret? He confessed his sin and repented.
Psalm 32. 5 I acknowledged my sin to you and did not hide my guilt, I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord. And you took away my guilt. Sela.
For the glory that came out of the reformation, better than this could not have been!
Such is the grace to get for these pastors and all others, just one admits own sin and transgression. Repent, confess their sin and shortly begin again!
Here are some article I have written about King David suited to bring here:
