Nr. 77:

Hat and psychopaths among Christians is alive and well!

That Christians persecuted for their faith should not come as a surprise to any of us. Jesus prepared his followers for it: "When (not if or if, but when) the world hate you, then shall ye know that it hated me before you." The apostle Paul is categorical: "And all that will live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. "

Joh. e. 16 2 They will expel you from the synagogues: yea, there comes a time when everyone who beats you to death, to think that he shows God service. 3 And these things they do because they do not know the Father, nor me.
15. 18 If the world hate you, ye shall know that it hated me before you. 19 Were in the world, the world would love its own: but because ye are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

From Wikipedia: Hate is an intense feeling of resentment against a person, an object, a place, an action, a phenomenon, and so on. Hate is not common sense ruled, but can be a mixture of other feelings that dislike and contempt, betrayal and disappointment. The word comes from the Norse hatr. Hatred can be personal or collective, and is the driving force for a number of actions and conflicts, including violence, racism and terrorism. Hate is also an important element of propaganda, for example, when political forces to build up images of the enemy and encourage war. The Jewish Nazi-hunter Simon Wiesenthal (1908-2005) should have said that the opposite of love is not hate, but indifference (quote end).

I remember when I got saved 16 years old where the blue-eyed and somewhat unprepared I was on the Christian life. But eventually stabilized it out and everything went pretty well. I won the victory over myself, it was my first and greatest battle. I will say that I was 18-19 years when I won the victory over myself, not that I was perfect in any way. But I'm not struggling with the old Jan Kåre and he won the victory, but Jesus in me won victory. But then an even harder struggle really, it was all other believers who do not have victory and would have victory. They disliked and wanted to control me. Where were the leaders and the so-called shepherds the hardest and worst, why?

What is persecution? Is it only in Muslim countries? No, it is as strong and intense everywhere, only that it manifests itself in different ways and that it is more covert
eg here in Norway and other Western countries than in eg Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu and other countries. It is said that the opposition is always the same, a little at a lower voltage. Yet Satan and demons just as active in Norway as elsewhere in the world, if not more.

Why hate even many Christians? Not least those who keep the "new" truths of God's word and that's for other opinions than themselves?

Shall I come with something personal here, as are many of those who hate, either unsure of their own perspective or sometimes childish in his personality. This is my subjective experience, mature people who are sure of themselves and their own point of view, hate and dislike are not other believers, even if they are deeply disagree and also see them as heretics and deceivers!

Example of an immature person, "but when Ahithophel saw that his advice was not followed, he saddled his donkey and took out and went home to his city and set apart his house and hanged himself-" 2 Sam. 17.23.

Akotefel was the grandfather of Bathsheba and David, the sin he had been King David of hatred and when he got the opportunity came this hatred expressed by the fact that he was with Absalom, who was a smug playboy who had appointed himself to the King. Absalom would not listen to Akotofels afford more than that he lay with his father's concubines, before the eyes of all Israel, to the disgrace of his Father and their Father God. When Akotefels sin was ripe born dead, he hanged himself. The Bible warns strongly against hate and be bitter, it will destroy oneself and others.

This is from my commentaries Hebrews 12 15 See that there are some that allow the grace of God go away! Let no root of bitterness grow up and cause damage, so many are infected with it.

Paul addressed clear who made the strife. There were those who walked away from the free grace in Christ and to the law and allowed themselves works of the flesh.
However, one must always watch out to not let any root of bitterness grow up.
Rom. 16. 17 I beseech you, brethren: Keep an eye on those who cause divisions and others to drop by going against the teachings you have received. Stay away from them. 18 The kind of people do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly. With the nice words and platitudes leads the gullible people astray. 19 But everyone has heard about your obedience, and therefore I rejoice over you. I want you to be wise in what is good, but simple in evil.

My experience is that there are not few, but many who can both put out about how bad and awful lot of believers in other countries with regard to the persecution and trials. But then, in turn, hate, resent and oppose one other believers in Norway and everyone else who gets in their way. Why? There are of course many reasons for this.

The church and most churches in Norway is a ormested for psychopaths and people power!

Of course, not all of these, but still too many places and places are such people the opportunity to obtain positions and empty get both leadership positions, Priest and Pastor positions. Here could I mentioned several, even many with names. But this also has the structure of church life where no skills and can debate their way to good solutions. Yes, there are many places where the church is broken and they do not have a strong leader as the driving force to keep the business open.

Power People in the church is still the most dangerous. It is he \ she adds a breeding ground for all this. Therefore, I conclude by saying something about the power of man in the congregation. It is the one who will always be in control in every situation. How to find out if the person is a human power? It is very difficult, but still I would say that there are some characteristics about this needed a thorough study, and unfortunately, one must also experience some of the abuse until one realizes how this degenerates and how extensive it is.

Obviously I can not say that these people are psychopaths then I am not a doctor, but there are many "dangerous" individuals within its the Christian ranks that I would warn against that have leadership positions that are destructive and dangerous, if they are psychopaths have a doctor determine , here are some within its the free church camp that I would say is missing much of his personality to be a leader:

Will not elaborate name p.g.a. that when one can get in trouble and t.o.m. be held responsible within its right o.l. I wish not!

1) Do not contradictions. Can come with promises of all, only one still get to keep even power.

2) problems in the family. Those who know the best and living with the person is either in strong opposition to the person or total submissive, not harmonious and reflective people.

3) Adds the list very high for others, except themselves.

4) Glad either money, alcohol \ drugs, women etc. One is usually below which may be bråhissig and have other problems.

5) Hides behind something forever, learn, location or other people's favor and benevolence. Have a special ability to camouflage itself, very difficult to put out of action as they can and have the word and positions in the palm of his hand. They are dangerous and cunning, and can "discipline" her. Peter says that they are trained and greedy.

Here a small excerpt from the power of people with Edin Løvås:
It is actually more than fifty years ago, psychologists began to describe the authoritarian personality. Let's just in the beginning to emphasize that having authority is not the same as being authoritarian. It is ok to have authority. But authoritarian persons causing problems around them, so it may be useful to be aware that such people exist. They can enjoy excellent in religious contexts.

The authoritarian personality is characterized by including following

• A teacher and live in accordance with the so-called middle-class values, and defends these values strongly.
• A subordinate, sometimes indiscriminately, under the authorities, notably if they are recognized in the environment. A straight forward looking for strong leaders. The tendency is that a wagging for those that are larger than oneself and barking at them less.
• Aggression displayed in the form of punishment, rejection or condemnation of those who deviate from the accepted norms. Discipline is important.
• One has little time for emotion and imagination - and the psychology of it all. One may also be unwilling to accept new ideas and see the value of what has practical consequences.
• One tends to think in black-and-white categories and stereotypes. In situations where it is not obvious what to think and do, have a tendency to oversimplify. Responsibility for the action, shifting from one self and the group one belongs to the natural things such as. trends in time or fate, or use a religious explanation. One is often suspicious of minorities.
• One has a tendency to believe that wild and terrible things going on "outside world". A projecting their own dangerous impulses to others.
Authoritarian people it is dangerous to disagree with. Either one must submit to, or need to rebel.

There is a tendency - but that is just a trend - that authoritarians have a background in a family with a patriarchal structure, where there are clear gender differences, where parents make all decisions in the family where children have few opportunities to highlight the controversy.

Power People, it's even harder to tackle. In 1987 gave Edin Løvås the book "Power Man in the church" (Ansgar Publishing). First edition of the book was almost torn off. Readers got to help name the phenomena they recognize from their own contexts. Løvås use the term "psychopath" when he speaks about such people. "Psychopaths are people who have a belief, a man, an attitude that makes them all the time is out of power. They have an incessant urge to control other people's hearts and thoughts.
Christian churches and communities are areas where they can easily exercise this power. Psychopaths are usually intelligent and charming, and they use all their influence and energy in the power struggle "(p. 9).
Chapter headings in the book describes the power of man further:

• They must be the focus of attention. They maintain a constant battle stance.
• The guilt is their primary weapon (they create guilt in others). They break down self-esteem (among others). They do not understand the needs of others.
• They have a great need for stimulation. (Basically chains themselves. They love the drama and standing in the center of events.) They have unreasonable expectations.
• They wonder most people.
• They love subordination systems.
• They attack the weakest.
• Psychopaths not change.
Løvås quotes Tollak B Sirnes that says "Most controlled studies of the results of treatment of psychopaths, shows that the prospect of improvement is poor" (page 56). (Psychologists and psychiatrists are strongly disagree when they discuss the appropriateness of diagnosing someone as "psychopaths". Some believe that it is directly wrong to do so. Others claim that we can not get away that such people exist. The result of the discussion is not yet decided. But even if we were to doubt the validity of psycho-term, it is meaningful to talk about the power of people.)

Løvås believe that there is no other choice than to break contact with such people without power that engage in long correspondence, discussions or negotiations with them. Should one dismiss them, it must be done in a legally unassailable way - otherwise useless.

Our task should primarily be to protect the weak, and not to provide the strong new opportunities. The more afraid we are to stop the power of people, the less respect we take to those who degrade the power of human nails. And these are not good. They must generally suffer in silence, for they take up what is difficult, they get even worse. They can NOK confide in colleagues and get support and understanding, but few colleagues dare to set up when it counts.

The victims often have major emotional problems, sleep problems and physical disorders. Worse, they often begin to see themselves as power man looks at them, namely as weak, hysterical, uåndelige, selfish, etc.

Before we proceed, we must underline that it is possible to have power and exercise power without the power of man. It is possible to have authority without being a power man. It is even possible to be authoritarian in a negative sense, without a necessarily deserve the designation of power man. We must be careful not to accuse anyone of being the power of people - very careful.

Antagonist
An antagonist, according to Haug more than one of the following characteristics:
Our self-image - positive or negative
With "self" we understand what we think and feel about ourselves. The self makes us see the world and the environment in a certain way. Is our self-image positively, it seems other people are generally friendly, pleasant, positive and exciting. We function well socially and we have accomplished something.
Is self-image negatively, seems the world and people in frightening, threatening or hostile. It is difficult to relate to others, and view of life is generally pessimistic. A negative self-image leads us generally to pull us away from other people and to protect ourselves. Antagonist reacts differently. He will exalt himself by belittle others and gain confidence by gaining power over others.

Narcissism, we might put that name on it that will always appear as important and meaningful and to be admired and get attention from others. The problem is not that such people have an exaggerated belief in themselves. The problem is on the contrary, they basically feel like zeros. The need for attention is insatiable - no matter how much they get, it never gets NOK. Such people can never meet other people's needs, even though they may at first seem to be very accommodating and friendly. They find it difficult to respect others' feelings, and are emotionally shallow. They are also difficult to admit their own mistakes (end of quote).

Finally, how should we Christians act and be? This is of course a huge topic. But we must learn first and foremost to protect ourselves against the perverse, hateful and psychopaths, even among Christians. Anyone can have items and things like these in their lives because Fall and flesh, but that's when Jesus by His Spirit and by God's Word gives us guidance and help. By submitting to His will, we will not sin. Love love the truth, do not forget it. Secondly, we must always live in the light of our lives and make up between us, and we know that someone has something against us, we are obliged to contact to make up. This will be the closing word if I could have written for hours about this topic when I have so many experiences here.

Matt. 5. 23 Therefore, when you carry your offering to the altar, and there will remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your sacrifice be there before the altar and go first be reconciled yourself with your brother, and come and carry your victim up!

It does not help to run the meetings or read the word of God if one does not settle everything with their fellow man! It is very difficult for a psychopath and a power man, ask for forgiveness and admit their own mistakes! Not when he has been revealed and it MUST be, but unsolicited and of itself.
