Nr. 169: I have absolutely no confidence in the Norwegian Christianity!

Nr. 169:

I have absolutely no confidence in the Norwegian Christianity!

Much of the preaching I have heard, been raised with and that it is taught today is really no positive spiritual value for most people, it lacks substance, content and direction!

The preaching that is common today brings you not be spiritual in the great and all, it leads you more to drop than revival. You will end in destruction t.o.m. If you blindly believe and let yourself be guided by much preaching today. These are harsh words, no doubt. But a lot of preaching has led you away from Christ and God's word, not to Christ and God's word.

Jesus said we would see the fruits

Matt. 7. 13 Enter by the narrow gate! for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction and many there be which go in thereat: 14 for the gate is narrow and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few there be that find it . 15 But beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves! 16 By their fruits shall ye know them: Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears evil fruit. 18 A good tree can not bear bad fruit, and a bad tree can not bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire. 20 Therefore shall ye know them by their fruits.

The Christian life is there to be results oriented in a positive and spiritual way. We know, of course, not always what will succeed and we succeed. But when we see and feel that today's gospel creates and produces a scale, and a falling away from God's word, then we know that there is something, or to say much that is not true and is correct! Jesus said it himself: "By their fruits shall ye know them."

I will mention five things that today's preaching is missing and I miss. And that makes the church feel more of a spiritual condition as Laodicea and Philadelphia state that we read in Revelation about the book.

1) Lack of direction.

2) Lack of cost.

3) Those minimum standards are spiritual leaders.

4) It is diplomacy that govern church life.

5) There is fear and not love that binds many church together.

1) Lack of direction.

In order to achieve something, one must have a direction, so also in the spiritual plane.

Word. 29.18. Without revelation the people tøilesløst, but happy is he who keeps the law.

We need revelation and a purpose for what we are doing. When Northug, Bjørgan and all other athletes train it to be the best and be the best when it comes. We need to transmit on the spiritual plane. We will also be "best" and "best" when it comes. We will be standing after having defeated everyone and especially Satan and our own flesh.

Eph. 6. 10 For the rest - be strong in the Lord and the power of his might! 11 Put on the whole armor of God unto you, that ye may stand against you, the devil's wiles; 13 Take therefore the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and stand after having done all.

2) Lack of cost.

It does not help with a big vision, if one eats poorly. For all athletes in order to achieve maximum they have found out something that should have shown long ago that diet plays a crucial importance. And then one should not just eat. But one needs to eat also what you will achieve results. A weightlifter can not eat what a marathon runner needs and vice versa. This is also in the spiritual area. God's words are like food, we need to be nurtured at every day and throughout their lives.

Matt. 4. 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
1. Pet. 2. 2 and longing that newborn children after the unadulterated spiritual milk, that ye may grow by it to salvation.

3) Those minimum standards are spiritual leaders.

Now in the end times to one in a certain way could not desire and would have the truth. Why is it important to be open that it will sneak into wolves in sheep's clothing. Paul says that after my departure, the following happens:

Acts 20. 29 I know that after my departure shall grievous wolves come in among you, not sparing the flock, 30 even among your own selves shall men emerge as leading perverse speech to entice the disciples after themselves.

It will be so bad before Jesus in some contexts, that can not be tha truth.

2. Tim. 4. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure the sound doctrine, but after their own lusts take themselves teachers in droves, because the itching ears, 4, and they shall turn away their ears from the truth and turn to adventure.

4) It is diplomacy that govern church life.

We look at the example of John the Baptist, he came forward unsent from God.

Joh. e. 1 6 It appeared a man sent from God, his name was John.

Today it becomes more and more a must and should have a Bible school, the right contacts, to have recognition of the all people. All this is in itself correct. But when God calls a person to service, without all this, there must and one should be open to this. God is much bigger than our human limits and what we assume. For God is our inner lives and our hearts, it is crucial for all of God's kingdom and God's church. The Lord is not like human beings, he sees the heart.

1. Samuel 16 7 But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, his tall stature; For I have rejected him, I do not see what people are watching, for man looketh on the outward, but the Lord looketh on the heart.

5) There is fear and not love that binds many church together.

When one is afraid and dare not say what one thinks and believes, because that hurts one and lose in some cases its position as the Evangelist, Pastor, etc. Then we know that there is fear and not love that keeps one up for the service. Fear of losing job is one of the reasons why so many people do not go on with God. Most preachers are never any "new" in the word of God, but stick to the familiar and known. Jesus, Paul, John, Peter and many others that we read about in God's word, they dry breaking with the "old" to go into the "new"! They did not fear or any other board, but they kept the word of God. For the first Christians were many things to break away to go on with God. Bl. a break for all the Jewish regulations and rituals, and remained only a few things of the law. There they remained for the law we read in Acts several places, they carried the costs to go with God.

Acts 15. 28 For the Holy Spirit and we have decided not to put any other burden on you than these necessary things: 29 that ye abstain from idols, and blood and things strangled, and fornication, and if I watch you for these things, it will go ye well. Farewell

God himself gave the first Christians these decrees, and when someone broke the regulations, so they were hard to correct said and they were considered to be among those who went against the free grace in Christ Jesus. The Apostle Peter did it once and was severely reprimanded.

Gal. 2. 11 But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him right up into his eyes, because it was brought accusation against him. 12 For before that some came from James, he ate with the Gentiles: but when they came he drew back and separated himself, for he was afraid of those who were of the circumcision, 13, and with him hypocrite and the other Jews , so that even Barnabas was carried away by their hypocrisy. 14 But when I saw that they went straight after the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas so everyone heard about it: When you are a Jew, live as a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you compel the Gentiles to live as Jews .

Even the Apostles way to stick to the word of God. There is no immunity for anyone, all we are subject to God's word, no one is exempt!

Have now gone through a number of aspects and points of why the church today is not what it should and could have been. What is the solution? It is that everything that is not right, it evened out.

Zechariah 4 4 And I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What is this, sir? 5 And the angel that talked with me, answered: Do not know what this is? I said: No, my lord! 6 Then he answered and said unto me, This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. 7 Who are you, the great mountains rising thee before Zerubbabel? Become a delete! He shall state the stone out from under the high cry, Grace, grace be with it!

This is when God's solution, he will even get to! The solution is to himself.

This is the solution:

1) That we have a clear direction in ministry and church life.

2) The spiritual diet is rich, so it should be and the whole counsel of God to salvation is preached

3) Those who are most practices are spiritual leaders and the training of new Shepherds when the older retreats.

4) There is love, unity and forgiveness that govern church life, not fear and diplomacy.

This is the opposite of what has gone wrong in Christian Norway. It does not help with a 1000-year history of Christianity when you have not followed the book. Have than a great cookbook and read the recipe, but after doing a like a want anyway. This is exactly what scripture warns against several places, but that is so difficult for us to live and succeed. Jesus would not have followers and sympathizers, but followers. What did Jesus say?

This is an article by David Wilkerson that he wrote just before Satan also got him off track. Begun is not finished, God calls us to keep it until the end and stay with him throughout his life. Also, when we approach the end of the road! Here I finally what Wilkerson wrote in 2004 before Satan got track of him.

What is Jesus Christ's true gospel? Even most non-believers know that the Bible contains four evangeliefortellinger, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. What is the core of the Gospels, or the "good news"? When we Christians speak of Jesus Christ, what is it we talk about?

Scripture provides several definitions of what this gospel is. And we will use these biblical definitions to determine whether the true gospel of Christ is alive in his own church.

Let's look at these definitions:

1. Jesus said his church carrying a cross and live in self denial.
The Lord said to Peter: "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow me." (Matthew 4:24 p.m.).

It is clear that to belong to Jesus' church means more than just believing in him. Many Christians today simply offer "Jesus' voice." Their attitude is "I voted for Jesus. It makes me a member of his party." But once they have cast their votes, so they go away and forget everything that has to do with his domination over their lives.

Jesus said to belong to his church means much more than that. It means to commit themselves to follow him. And it includes a life of self denial and taking up a cross. "And whoever does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of me." (Matthew 10:38).

Our Lord makes it clear: "If you are in my church, so be prepared to be persecuted for your faith in me. Be prepared to deny yourself all the fame, recognition, and the world's pursuit of pleasure. People are going to nail to a cross of condescension, a cross of alienation. And they will do because you hunger and thirst after me. If you belong to my church so it is certain that a cross will come. "

The fact is that Christ has never been accepted by the world. And it will never be. If you live for Jesus, you do not have to pull you away from other's company: they will pull away from you. All you need to do is live for him. Suddenly you will find that you are reproached, rejected and called evil: "... people hate you, and ... cast you out, mock you and throw their name from as evil for the Son of Man's sake." (Luke 6:22).

But he adds that this is the road that leads to true fulfillment: "For whosoever will save his life will lose it. But whoever loses his life for my sake shall find it." (Matthew 4:25 p.m.). In other words: "The only way you can find meaning in life is to give all your own for me. Then you will find true joy, peace and satisfaction." Christ tells us: "My church is without spot and wrinkle. So when you come to me you must be willing to put away all sin, you must surrender it all to me, die from yourself, from all wicked ambition and ego of . I believe you will be buried with me. But I will raise you to a new life. "

Think of what it means to be without spot and wrinkle. We know that a patch is something we've spilled on us, but what about wrinkles? Have you ever heard the phrase "a new wrinkle"? It means adding a new idea to an already existing concept. A wrinkle, in that context, referring to those who try to take advantage of the gospel. It suggests an easy way to win the sky, without a full surrender to Christ.

It is this kind of gospel that is preached in many churches today. Preaching is only aimed to meet people's needs. But when I read Jesus' words, I see that this kind of preaching is not enough. It does not perform true gospel work.

Not misunderstand: I am not opposed to preach comfort and give strength to the people of God. As a shepherd of the Lord, I am called to do just that. But if I preach to people's needs, and ignore Christ's call to lay down our lives, so will the true needs will never be covered. Jesus' words are clear: our needs are covered by that we die to self and take up his cross.

2. Christ Church is a place where sinners repent of their sins with heart and mouth.
Jesus declares: "My church is a place to repent openly and without shame." The apostle Paul states, indeed: "But what does it? The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart. It is the word of faith, what we preach. For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe that God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. "

"With the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed." (Romans 10:8-11).

Simply put it is we brought to salvation through our open confession that we have repented. Jesus says: "I came not to call the righteous but for sinners." (Matthew 9:1 | 3). And, he says, repentance is the source of our healing and restoration, "But Jesus answered and said unto them, It is not the healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. " (Luke 5:31-32).

Dear, this is good news. Jesus tells us that: "In my church is all healed through repentance. It does not matter who you are - they are physically degraded, the mentally ill, the spiritually sick. All they have to come to me in the same way. And all they will find healing through repentance. "

I ask you: how many churches still have their altars open to people with heart troubles, and that appears to repent? How many pastors have stopped giving invitations to this most important of all spiritual work? And how many believers have lost all sense of his need to confess sin?

So what is the central message of the gospel of Christ? He makes it clear through Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. In these four gospels he tells us: "This is the message I preach in my church. This is my message to all sinners."

First of all: "Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God. He said: The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe the gospel!" (Mark 1:14-15). What was Jesus' first message? He preached repentance.

For some Christians, this sounds like sharp voice. They will say: "OK, but how strongly Jesus preached repentance?" Luke answers it in his gospel. Jesus said to his audience: "But if ye repent, ye shall all perish in the same way." (Luke 13:5).

Welcome to the church where there is sorrow for sin.
You can believe that Christ's gospel of repentance sound like a downer. But Paul says the opposite. A reverse heart lead the true life with him: "For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation, which no regrets." (2 Cor. 7:10).

Repentance was the core of the very first sermon after the resurrection of Christ. Peter told the crowd that had gathered at Pentecost: "Jesus of Nazareth ... was betrayed ... and you beat him to death as you nailed him to the cross by wicked hands." (Acts 2:22-23).

When the people heard this, they came under a strong conviction. The preached word stuck in their heart, because the Holy Spirit had come in all its force. And according to Jesus, this is precisely the Holy Spirit. He said that the Holy Spirit came to "convict the world of sin and of righteousness and of Judgement." (John 16:8).

The crowd was so affected that they could not move. Suddenly the question of life and death for them. Then they cried out to Peter and asked what to do. He answered them, "Repent, and let all of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins ... Save yourselves from this perverse generation!" (Acts 2:38, 40).

This section illustrates the conversion that even the core of Jesus' message. If there is no conviction in the message - no truths about sin and guilt, no sting in the heart - so is the Holy Spirit is simply not there. He is simply not present in such preaching.

I think of all the "conviction empty" preachers who are responsible for the souls of hundreds of thousands of Christians. Their meetings are nedlasset with sins and their iniquities crucify Christ daily afresh. It is absolutely tragic. What these people need is a message from a preacher who is not afraid to tell them that "you have sinned against Christ." But the very opposite happens. The people are actually maintained in their sins of pastors who compromise.

Ezekiel says of these preachers: "The lies do you do the righteous heart melt, and I've grieved him, and you strengthen the wicked hands, so he will not turn from his evil way, so I can let him live." (Ezekiel 13:22). The Prophet said: "You have done the righteous sad with its superficial preaching. And you've encouraged the sensual to sin even more, without shame. You have given them lies about the eternal life. No, you deprive these people of eternal life. You have done the grace of God into lascivious. "

Paul says that Judgement Day is coming soon. And for that reason we preach the gospel with even greater power to convince, as the day approaches. We must rebuke and exhort, and do it with patience and love. It really comes a day when every shepherd shall stand before the Lord and give account for everything he has preached. Did he do the righteous sorrowful? Strengthened he of the wicked hands? Or he presented the compelling word without fear, under a sacred anointing?

The fact is that Peter was not interested in insulting the crowd at Pentecost. His only purpose was to show them the truth. And when the Holy Spirit reveals the truth that gives it conviction. It penetrates deep into and investigate any area of the heart.

It's sad but true that this is not happening in many churches today. Not only is the Holy Spirit is absent in such churches, but he is not even welcome. Our service will receive a letter after letter that repeats the same refrain: "I have a neighbor that I have testified to for months. He is going through a divorce ... she has an alcohol problem ... he has an affair on the side ..."

"So I take them to church and hope that they will hear a word about his condition and his need for the Lord. But my pastor never says a word about sin. There is never a word which gives syndenød that utmaler need for Jesus' cleansing, liberating power. So my neighbors go there even more confident in their sin. "

"What a tragedy, how sorrow it must make God more people are safe in their sins within the church than outside!

Other writes: "I attended a so-called 'sins friendly' church, but I can not do this anymore. Every week we get a questionnaire in hand asking us check how we liked the service. They want to know: 'Was the music too high ? Was drama pieces for long? Was the sermon funny? ' Pastor David, I go to church to find hope for my lost relatives. But instead, I asked to judge the entertainment. "

According to Jesus can not be freed from sin - no one is ever faced with the truth - without the Holy Spirit's compelling presence and power.

3. Christ Church is a place where you can expect to hear a harsh, disturbing message.
Imagine this scene when Jesus spoke to his followers: "This is the bread which came down from heaven - not as the fathers ate and died. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This he said while he taught in a synagogue in Capernaum. Many of his disciples heard this, they said: These are hard words! Who can hear them? But when Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at this, he said to them: Do you take offense at this ? " (John 6:58-61).

Note that Jesus here was speaking to believers. What were the harsh words they reacted? It was: "You must eat my flesh and drinks my blood, otherwise you can not have life in you. My flesh is food and my blood is drink. And eternal life comes only through eating them."

The "sinner friendly" gospel says: "You can not preach that kind. Sinners will never understand it. Drink the blood and eat flesh? They would think we were barbarians. We must change the words to make them more appealing. Otherwise, it will encounter people, especially non-believers. "

In Christ's true church will be offensive words. Yes, in this church you will hear a message of good news, a gospel of love, with grace, mercy and patience. But in Christ there is also a message that one should not dare to tamper with. And the message includes the preaching of Christ's blood and his cross.

Jesus saw that people were shocked by his words. So he asked them, mainly. "I blow their feelings? Are you embarrassed that I'm telling the truth?" Then he says: "The words I have spoken to you are spirit and are life." (John 6:63). He made it crystal clear: "What you are offended by is the very message that gives life." How did his successors? "After this many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him." (John 6:66).

What Jesus says about his gospel here? He states simply that the message of his blood and his cross is offensive. Yet it is the only gospel that leads to eternal life. Although this is so, is there still some who will not accept it. "But there are a few of you who do not believe." (John 6:64).

These words of Jesus is manifested in many churches today. Amazing NOK so many meetings that have removed all references to Christ's cross in their meetings. Pastors mentions it in his sermons. Songs of the blood has been removed from the church. All of this is seen as being too offensive.

But he warned: "It does not matter how obscene my words seem to be for you. You can not change them. My word creates life. And you have to digest them as you do with food and drink, to let them flow into each fiber of your being. Therefore you should not wrap up what I say in cotton. If you remove the blood and the cross of your preaching, so they cut you seeking from the only hope of eternal life. "

"The message of salvation through the blood can only be understood through the Holy Spirit. But it shall be served even if it is misunderstood. So stand up boldly and preach my gospel no matter what response you get. It is the only Word that saves."

We see a similar scene in Matthew: "He came to his home and taught them in their synagogue ... And they took offense at him." (Matthew 1:54 p.m., 57). Even Jesus' own disciples came to him and said that his message was offensive, "Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?" (Matthew 15:12). In this section, there were not people who were offended, but the religious leaders. The crowd received apparently what Jesus said. But the shepherds were furious.

If we belong to Christ we are going to hear strong, compelling message that encounters our flesh.
If you are in Christ then it will get tough message from the Holy Spirit. Why? Because the Spirit cries in us towards what we think, say or do that is of the flesh. Jesus says: "For from the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, fornication, theft, false testimony, slander." (Matthew 15:19).

But the character of every true follower of Jesus is that he submits to every word of Christ. This servant loves reprimand because of the result it produces in his heart. He sees the change it brings, and he knows that there is life for him.

Deep inside, this is also the reason why sinners come to God's house. It is not only to be expected as a new number in a large assembly. But it is to be found by God, because in his heart he knows he is doomed. His soul is at rest, and he has had too many sleepless nights. He wants answers, truth, real transformation, because he recognizes that he is on a journey to the pits of hell. And he does not need a believer or a minister who tells him that everything is just fine with him.

The culprit may, of course, be offended if he heard the gospel of Christ. He can get angry and stomp out. But he will not forget what he heard. And the Holy Spirit will use it to reveal the truth to him.

We have all learned that Christ is his own church cornerstone. Paul says that this cornerstone is also a stumbling block: "As it is written, Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense. Whoever believes in him shall not be ashamed." (Romans 9:33). Peter also calls Jesus a rock of offense, "But for the unbelievers is the stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone and stumbling stone and rock of offense. There are those who stumble in their disbelief at the word - it is also set." (1 Pet. 2:7-8).

Peter could tell you directly what happens if you try to get rid of the Cross message. He took offense when Jesus foretold his death to his disciples. "Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, saying, God preserve you, Lord, this must never happen to you!" (Matthew 16:22).

But Jesus answered him with these penetrating words: "But he turned and said to Peter: Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block for me, for you have no taste for the things of God, but only for the things people to. " (Matthew 4:23 p.m.).

Here is an example of how Satan can plant a seduction even in a godly shepherd who loves Christ. And you can bet that Peter never forgot his Master's words. In the same way today, any servant and faithful heed Christ's warning: "My cross and my blood may offend you. But if you're ashamed of my message, or trying to reduce its content, then you are a stumbling block for me. This represents not my words or my church. "

4. In what way do you think Jesus would start a church in your town or at your place?
The first thing Christ would do was to go on a crying tour through your town. Scripture tells us: "When he came near and saw the city (Jerusalem), he wept over it, and said: Did you also, albeit only in this your day, what serves your peace! But now it is hidden from your eyes. " (Luke 19:41-42).

What was it that made Jesus to weep? It began with a heartbreaking journey he made across the city. He was overwhelmed with grief at the sight of so called religious people who had no peace. These people had rejected the truth in favor of adventure. And now followed a dead form of religion. They were sheep without true shepherds.

Now I'm not looking to judge some pastors or preachers. But I want to ask everyone who reads this message: Can you imagine your pastor drive through the place where you live and cry over it? What different picture Jesus gives us in relation to so many of those who design and plan to build churches today. These men go from door to door and ask people what they want in a church: "How long would you want that speech lasted? Fifteen minutes? Tues?"

Jesus saw something similar in his time. When he walked through the temple as he tables of the moneychangers, servants who negotiated with things to worship. There was no true prayer, no fear of the Lord. And Christ wept over it all and cried out: "It is written, My house shall be a house of prayer. But you have made it a den of thieves." (Luke 7:46 p.m.).

I ask you, Jesus would weep at what he sees in your church today? Would he find your pastor in need of lost souls? Or would you find that he made the profit on things that are holy in God's eyes? Would Christ find his people in prayer? Or would he find them busy in the bustle and programs focusing on their own interests? Once Jesus had finished his gråtetur around in your town would he rose his people? Or he would come with this warning: "You are blind to the time you live in. Judgement is at hand, but you are more like the world than ever before. Why ask ye, and seek me strength and wisdom to understand the times ? "
God help us never to thin out his gospel. If you have a pastor who preaches the true gospel, that I urge you, encourage him! And pray for him. Thank the Lord for their appointed pastors do not rely on celebrity preachers to draw people.

And be grateful that the Holy Ghost is allowed to do their work in their midst. When Jesus Christ is preached with conviction then the heavens open up and demons flee!
