Nr. 167:

Israel selection, current position and future glory!

We have many articles about Israel on the blog and our website. But to understand Israel, I want to bring three aspects of their position.

1) Israel is the chosen of God.

2) The demonstration is his people, for better or for worse.

3) They are the future people who will control and manage this land under the soon coming 1000 year kingdom, they are sons of the kingdom!

1) Israel is the chosen of God.

The first God chose Abraham, since there was a whole nation out of him and Sarah. Here God speaks about their selection.

5. Genesis 7 6. For a holy people unto the Lord thy God. You have the Lord your God has chosen of all people on earth to be His peculiar people. 7. Not because you were larger than all other people, found the Lord delights in you, that He chose you. For you are the least of all peoples. 8. But because the Lord loved you and because He would keep the oath he had sworn to their fathers, therefore the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you out of slavery, from the Pharaoh, the Egyptian king's hand.

Israel's election is based on one thing: God syverne grace and what he wants.

Rooms. 9 to 11 speak on this. The fact that God exalts and humbles the one he wants. Everything is founded on his own decisions and what he wants to achieve and intention. The fact that God chose Israel, was because then no one could accuse God of not being God when he could get the worst to be his own people, even peculiar people!

2) The demonstration is his people, for better or for worse.

Jesus Savior of the world was born as a Jew, lived as a Jew and when he died, it said on the cross that he was Jewish King.

Joh. e. 4 22 Ye worship ye know not, but we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews.
19. 19 Pilate had an inscription made and attached to the cross. It read: "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews."

Secondly, as we see with Israel that God both blesses and punishes them, but all the time he takes them to mercy. Just as God does with everyone else that has to do with him.

3) They are the future people who will control and manage this land under the soon coming 1000 year kingdom, they are sons of the kingdom!

That all the world's eyes are becoming more and more directed against Israel and the Middle East with the upcoming events. That the corrupt people are praised as righteous people are demonized, who is behind it? Satan. Therefore to argue with human words about the conflict that is currently underway in Israel and the Middle East, is to remain a skivebom. It is a spiritual conflict more than it is a conflict about land, democracy, etc.

Jesus shall reign from Jerusalem in conjunction with all other Israelites, and then all the 12 tribes to be collected and revealed who it is. Then when Israel has such promise and such a glorious future. Then it is impossible that Satan will not mobilize and make absolutely every effort to let this not come true. Will he succeed? Without that Jesus had intervened on Armageddon deleted as we read in Revelation 16 and you can read from my Bible commentaries, had Satan and the Antichrist succeed, but he will not succeed because God has linked his word and his promises to these people.

Israel from Wikipedia: The name "Israel" has the last three thousand years been used for both Israel and the entire Jewish nation, both in common and religious context. The name comes from a verse in the Bible (Genesis 32.28), where Jacob is renamed Israel after a successful battle against one of God's angels. There are different opinions about what the name means. Some believe that the name comes from the verb śarar ("to rule, be strong, have authority over"), and the meaning becomes "God reigns" or "God judges." Other possible meanings are "God's Prince" (from the King James Version) or "El (God) fights / conflicts". Regardless of the name to the exact meaning, the biblical nation of Jacob was called "Children of Israel" or "Israelites".

The word "Israel" was first used in the Merneptah Stele of ancient Egypt (dated back to the 13th century BC), although researchers disagree about it referred to a people or a country. Present land was named Medinat Yisrael (the State of Israel) after other proposed names, including Eretz Israel ("Israel"), Zion, and Judea had been rejected. During the initial period of independence the government decided that the term "Israelis" to describe Israel's citizens, by a formal announcement by Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett.
