Nr. 148:
We shall judge angels and be Kings for ever and ever!
1. Kor. 6. 2 Or know ye not that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world will be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the slightest matters? 3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more then in temporal things!
Obvious. 22.3b-5 God and the Lamb's throne will be in place, and his servants shall serve him. They shall see His face, and his name shall be on their foreheads. Night shall be no more, and they need no light of lamp and light of the sun, for the Lord God will shine upon them. And they shall reign forever and ever! (Aionons aionon).
Preach the whole counsel of God to salvation
Salvation involves so much more than repentance and forgiveness of sins. To be saved is the beginning and something we always must and will come back to, we never grow past the Calvary plant in the Christian life. But to always dwell on this and the first reason in God's word is immature, destructive and not spiritual. We shall grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Therefore, it is about to do to put us in all things in God's word as far as possible. We are saved to serve, develop and resemble more and more in Christ Jesus. This is a process not only life, but eternity out!
One of the things that lie ahead of us that we empty shall judge angels says the Apostle Paul, what this involves? I think that it is to make us believers that we are able to put this, as there is no simple matter to do anything like that.
Ole Henrik Skjelstad writes on his blog: Did you know that you will sit with Jesus and judge the world? Did you know that you will judge angels? Paul reminds the Corinthians of this important truth of 1 Corinthians: "Know ye not that the saints shall judge the world? But when ye shall judge the world, why will do ye not to judge the small things? Do you not know that we shall judge angels? Can you not judge in earthly affairs? "(6:2-3)
By the context of these verses are in we know that even though we are children of God and the saints we are not necessarily the maturity it takes to perform this service. It is in this context, Paul Anderson-Walsh said the following in mind: The reason that Jesus delays his coming is not because we still have not evangelized the world, but because we have not yet reached the maturity that able for us to be able to judge in accordance with God's heart. Do you remember that God sent Jonah to Nineveh, that those who lived there would have the opportunity to repent and be saved from God's Judgement? Jonah responded that many of us would have done and felt that people did not deserve to be spared. After God had saved the city was Jonah acid and sat down in the heat and moped and felt terribly sorry for himself. Do you recognize? Are not you a little bit agree with Jonah that there are people who have done such terrible crimes that they deserve hell? Do you think these words from Paul does not apply to everyone: "For God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, so he does not make them accountable for their misdeeds, and he entrusted the message of reconciliation to us." (2 Corinthians 5:19) It's not here, or for that matter anywhere else in the Bible that anyone is exempt from God's grace. It would seem as if God in Christ has forgiven the world all sin. The world lacks to become children of God is to believe in Jesus, because "sin is that they do not believe in me." (John 16:9). The world's conversion is thus now in that they turn from no faith to believe in God's son. This was the message Paul preached, and that's the good news we preach. What in the 2 Corinthians 5 is called the ministry of reconciliation. However, we can not preach something we do not have the revelation of self. Are you starting to understand the drawing now? It's too late that we have an understanding of and belief in God's grace, we must also have an intimate knowledge of his heart before we will be able to judge according to His mercy, compassion and mercy. When we examine Christianity closer and the attitudes which are claimed in most congregations today, we might be inclined to agree that we do not understand or know the depth and scope of Jesus' work of reconciliation so that we can judge fairly. Even though Jonah did not agree with God, he knew a lot about God's heart: "For I know that you are a gracious and merciful God, slow to anger, abounding in love and that you can change your plan, so you do not let evil." (Jonah 4:2) But Jonah had not yet reached the point where God's heart had melted together with his and he was thus able to identify with God's love for mankind. There is a progression in our development in grace. See what John writes: "And so we have come to know the love God has for us, and we have believed in it. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God and God in him. "(1 John 4:16). Notice the two verbs in the first sentence: knowing and believing. It is possible to believe in God's love and not know it, and it is possible to know that God is love, but do not believe it. When both of these positions is one we can be in God's love and our new hearts are attuned to His (end of quote).
How mature are you?
All we're doing on this blog and our website is that you as a believer should mature and be restored to every good work here in the past and the future scripture says the following: "And they shall reign forever and ever! (Aionons aionon). "
When we have such a great and glorious salvation, what shall we do? Apostle Peter says:
2. Pet. 1. 10 Therefore, brethren, put more than eager to make your calling and election sure! for when I do these things, ye shall in no stumbling; 11 for in this manner shall be given you plenty of input in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ's eternal kingdom.
We must therefore make our calling and election sure that we get a wonderful entrance into to our Savior and Lord's eternal kingdom. Then you need a solid and comprehensive biblical teaching. But also something more, a spiritual community where you can flourish and thrive.
