No. 1083: Baptism of Father, Son and the Holy Spirit is no baptism in someone's name!

No. 1083:
Baptism of Father, Son and the Holy Spirit is no baptism in someone's name!

Picture a baptism, but painted. Baptism should take place after someone has come to believe. No one shall be baptized in the Father, Son and Spirit's name, it is totally meaningless and unbiblical to do.

One should be baptized into Christ Jesus name by full immersion, and raised to walk in God's power. The same force which caused Jesus to the dead, to be present in the believer who is baptized in his name!

Matt. 28. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end. "

Have written part article about the Trinity versus what God's word says and teaches.
And that the most important points to reject the Trinity is the easiest regarding dåpsbefalingen in Matthew, where it is quite obviously not spoken about any name, but the symbolism when neither Father, Son or Spirit is a proper name.

The name that the first Christian baptized in was exclusively the person of Jesus Christ's name, no one else's.

Ap.gj.2.38. Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, each one of you, that you may receive forgiveness of sins, and ye shall receive the Holy Ghost.

Ap.gj.10. 48.Så he commanded that they should be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to remain for some days.

Ap.gj.19.5. Having heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord.

Had the early Christians misunderstood Jesus 'mission or is it today's believers have misunderstood Jesus' commandment? They both can not be right!

Today Norwegian Christians here say something like: "But we can say to Per, Pål and Espen Sample's name without being a person." Yes, when we think Norwegian grammar so we can fine saying in "Per, Pål and Ashiepattle name" - but "name" on the Norwegian has the same bend in the singular as in plural. It has, however, not in Greek!

Therefore, it is not so difficult to understand that the first Christians "omitted" the three descriptions or titles, and baptized solely in the person of Jesus Christ, his name!

Discard Trinity now, it will set you free!

Joh. e. 8. 36 If the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed.

New Testament preaching is always directed against Jesus and all things be done in His name!

From my commentaries Colossians Dispenser Letter 3. 17 And let everything you say and do, happen in Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Everything we do in the name of Jesus. Preach in the name of Jesus, pray for the sick in the name of Jesus, baptize people in the name of Jesus and everything else. And yet again mentions Paul giving thanks to God the Father. Love to the Father as do an all with thanks. A child can be in open session to his Father, but when a mature teacher one who most often also be grateful and everything looks different.

Have today's Christians understood nothing more than the first Christians? Or is it strange doctrine they have introduced? Of course it is strange doctrine, no one should be baptized in three titles or three denominations, but only should we be baptized into Christ, and this happens of course in the name of Jesus!

Room. 16. 17 I exhort you, brothers, to keep your eye on those who cause divisions and others fall by going contrary to the teaching you have received. Stay away from them! 18 The kind of people do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly. With fine words and platitudes deceives the people who have a naive heart.

End Comment.
Room. 6. 3 Know ye not that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were buried with him when we were baptized with this baptism into death. And as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of his Father, we also should walk in newness of life.

We go through all chapters, verses and indeed the whole of the New Testament as we do not find the slightest hint that the first Christians baptized someone into three titles. The whole thing is both pointless and most unbiblical. In fact it is strange doctrine as the Apostle Paul puts it (1930 translation):
"Now I beseech you, brethren, to keep an eye on those who cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them; for such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth talk and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. "

It does not help if there is a Pastor or millions of Pastors who baptizes in the Father, Son and Spirit's name, it is equally unbiblical for it!
What shall we do, they asked Peter at Pentecost? The answer that he gave fits perfectly here:
"Peter replied," Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, each one of you, that you may receive forgiveness of sins, and ye shall receive the Holy Ghost. "

You shall solely be baptized in Jesus' name, not in someone else's name. Jesus is a real person, but the Father is a title or designation. There are then many with people who are Father and Son are the same. The Holy Spirit is the description on the Father and the Son Spirit of Yahweh and Jesus Christ his Spirit.

That said, that part goes against me here, that's not my problem or responsibility, I believe more in Jesus, Paul, Peter and the early Christians than I believe in those who lead and govern the church today. They are unfortunately very often force people and manipulators who are doing everything to keep God's church - sheep - away from the green and juicy pastures. While they gorge themselves at the expense of the faithful. And the ability to manipulate and deceive those in most areas of life!
That said, let the word of God get guide and enlighten you, then you and I on certain biblical reason. Both now and forever!

Psalm 119 105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
