No. 943:
It saved a man has done before the new birth does not belong to the new life, and God has "forgotten" it!

It is very strange to see the unbiblical and really dangerous understanding many features of what it means both to be saved, and be saved!

Everything that happened before we came to faith is something that God does not reckon with. For when we knew he was not and had no requirement to know what he wanted and demanded of us as his children and servants! But afterwards, then we will be held responsible for everything. Nothing is overlooked, everything we need to be held accountable for. This can of course feels unfair for some, for others not. This is what Scripture teaches, so I have chosen to relate to it as God's word says and portray this matter.

I've written a lot about people what they have done is not right with God's word. I also went inside a few moments as they made their unsaved, this is totally unbiblical and has removed this. Has an example. ørten marriage unsaved or other things behind him before came to believe, and not "counted" with the new life. Only what has happened and is happening as believers.

Image of King David who had to stand up for his transgression which he did as a believer. As believers we release not away!

God's word speaks of a major before and an even greater afterwards for those who are being saved and born again.

We can not go with us some of the old life into the new. Before we lived dark, now we live in the light and the light of day. Constantly speaks the word of God before we were Satan's children, lived in the darkness and the flesh and the tank will. Now we are children of light, children of God. And God requires really all of us when we belong to him and his representatives on this earth.

Then we can not expect that some of the old belong to the new life when the contrasts and upheavals are so great and extensive. Here there is a whole bunch and you endless with scriptures to bring. Taking some of my commentaries that tell about what a difference there is. Therefore, it is about to do to put the old life behind us as quickly as possible and live a new life together with Jesus and those who have experienced the same salvation as us.

From my commentaries Ephesians 2 1. You were once dead in trespasses and sins.

Isaiah 59. 2. "It is your iniquities that stands between you and your God. Their sins hide his face, then do not hear you. "

Iniquities = wrong doings that separates us from God with a deep ravine.

Synder = miss the mark with our lives. When disappears God for us. Blessing says: "The Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you." But sin hides God's face so it does not shine over us so we can get grace.

2 You lived on the current world view and let you lead by the ruler of the air's, the spirit that now worketh in the disobedient.

Paul addresses himself with: "Yes, we lived once all that they. We followed the lusts of our sinful nature and let us be guided by it and by our own thoughts. So we were by nature under God's wrath, even as others. " Ef.2,2-3. There must be a before and now in a person's life if they want to listen to Christ. There is no question of being better than others, but being a Christian requires a break with this world's sinful nature and a surrender to Christ. "That was before his conversion, Paul said about himself that he was better than everyone else . In Philippians he writes: "I have admittedly what I can refer to human advantage. If anyone thinks that he can depend on such things, can I do it even more. "But after his conversion has the tone become another:" We have our boasting in Christ and put not our trust in anything human. "By this clear Christ Confession came he opposed relation to the people and to the future of religious leaders. But after meeting with the resurrected Jesus Christ was an impossibility for him to preach any other gospel to you than what he had received. The Holy Spirit had clearly revealed to Paul who he was. "I know that in me, that is the way I am in myself staying no good." He maintains both for themselves and for everyone else that only path to salvation was to turn to Jesus Christ to receive it unmerited grace and forgiveness from him. He even got to experience the persecution that he had initiated against the Christians. He previously was jealous hatred of Christians, now burn out of love for both Jews and Gentiles. "I have great heaviness of heart. Something that always torments me. I'd love to be accursed and separated from Christ, it was only to help my brothers and countrymen. "Rom.9,3.

It is not difficult to registers that they Antichrist forces are active today. It goes both preaching and shapes. The most active to pursue Christians are precisely those who thinks about himself: "I have the right-enough that I can refer to human advantage." When both mayors, politicians, diocesan council and media oppose one episcopal candidate because he chooses to stand on scripture, they all combine to reveal the large separation there is between this world and the kingdom of God. Actually, this is only natural, Paul writes in Corinthians: "Such a man is in itself, it does not receive the things of the Spirit of God. For him it is foolishness, and he can not comprehend it; it can only be spiritually discerned. "" As soon dichotomy tages away is that being a Christian vrøvel. "

3 Yes, we lived once all that they. We followed the lusts of our sinful nature and let us be guided by it and by our own thoughts. So we were by nature under God's wrath, even as others.

All people are not neutral spirit. Either we are influenced by God or Satan. By the fall so was all mankind "sold" to Satan. Calvary was all people "won" back to God.

4. 17 So I ask you earnestly in the name of Lev no longer as the Gentiles. Their thoughts are vanity,

God's word makes it ugjenfødte and carnal man very low. Therefore, we should try to be quite the opposite. Unfortunately characterize the world many times church one church characterize world. God wants us to leave a trace us.

18 their understanding darkened, and they are alienated from the life of God. For their hearts were hardened, so they did not know him.

"The god of this (Satan) has blinded the minds of unbelievers, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God." (2 Corinthians 4: 4)

"Everything is clean for the pure. But for those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their mind and their conscience are defiled. "

Soul and mind is therefore a battle space! And it's you and I who decide who shall win!

"Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts and turn to the Lord, so he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. "(Isaiah 55: 7-9)

As we see, there is a big contrast between the wicked thoughts and God's thoughts. The wicked forsake his thoughts and ways, and share in God's thoughts, plans and roads. This speaks of a total transformation of thought life.

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the will of God: what is good, what he pleases, it's perfect." (Romans 12: 2)

Word transform (Greek: metamorphosis) speaks of a total transformation. It also speaks about being different from everyone else's.

19 blunted they have been, they have plunged into debauchery, indulge in all sorts of immorality and chasing after money.

God's thoughts are primarily revealed in God's Word. Therefore we have to read much in the Word of God, so that word is allowed to work in our lives. It will gradually begin to transform our thoughts, attitudes, and our whole sense. It is this that is the whole key.

"How shall a young man cleanse his way? By sticking by your Word. I seek you with all my heart, let me not wander from thy commandments! In my heart I have hidden Your Word that I might not sin against you. "(Psalm 119: 9-11)

"Thy Word is a lamp to my feet and a light unto my path." (Psalm 119: 105)

Word of God is living Word. Therefore they are life-changing. When the Word of God penetrates the mind, the living power, and helps you to distinguish between God's thoughts and the human.

"For the Word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword. Piercing even to the dividing asunder (case) soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and intents. "(Hebrews 4:12)

We must let God's Word gain guide us, teach us, convict us and educate us. Then we will be arranging for service in God's kingdom.

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, enabled for every good work." (2 Timothy 3: 16-17)

When Jesus was tempted by the devil in the desert, was His mind rock solid. He responded with the Word of God. When we allow our minds renewed, so too can we cope with both trials and temptations by keeping the focus on the Word of God.

Man in itself makes flesh unfruitful works and thrives on it.

20 But so have you not learned to know Christ!

Now I see that this is one of the keys to understanding Paul. I'll try to explain.

We contrasted usually sin against the commandments. But Paul contrasts Christians sin against Christ. Likewise, Paul admonitions to Christians not anchored in law, but in Christ. (Phil 2: 5; Eph. 5:25)

Because the law is abolished for us Christians (Eph. 2:15), instead, we have received Christ as our new scale. The law, Paul says, was a shadow of Christ, but now we no longer just a shadow image to work with, we have the reality that is Jesus. (Col. 2: 16,17)

Therefore, do not the Christians to relate to the Old Testament law - he should rather learn to know Christ. And follow Him. It means a lower standard? (Mt. 5: 27,28)

No, it means a different standard, a standard in a new dimension.

Because the Spirit of Christ living in us. (1 Cor. 6: 12-20) and it is also the Spirit of God etc. but no 3 Gude Person or 3rd person in the Godhead, it is blasphemy and unbiblical to claim it!

It is experiencing a unity between us and Christ has transformed our lives. We are born again and we live as new people a new life.

Therefore, when we sin the Spirit will say: - How have you not learned to know Christ!

Paul says elsewhere: - Live a life worthy of the calling you have received! What vocation? The call to follow Christ! (Eph. 4: 1)

Paul was distraught Christians who adhered to the law, - instead he painted Christ for their eyes. (Gal. 3: 1)

Paul - I would not know anything among you but Christ and him crucified! (1 Cor. 2: 2).

5. 8 For you were once darkness itself, but now - in the Lord - you are light. Live then as children of light!

Light is perhaps the most times in the Bible is used as an image of the kingdom of God to do. And when God created the world, He knew that light was a prerequisite for all life. First we had the light come. So life could sprout.

But also in the spiritual world is so. About John the Baptist it was said that he would testify about the light, the true light that enlightens every man. In John's Gospel we see that light, the Word and Jesus are somehow intertwined into one concept. Such is the kingdom of God. Without word of Jesus we would all live in spiritual darkness. The Gospel had revealed that we should reach salvation. The light had to find us to redeem us from eternal darkness. Also King David had knowledge of this relationship: Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light unto my path. (Psalm 119 105)

The light we connect with something good and hot, giving confidence and joy. But light can also be dangerous. Whoever has anything to hide, are mortally afraid that strong spotlights are turned on to reveal what is hidden in darkness. And in a spiritual context, the light just have such a revealing feature. In Joh.3,19-20 we read: And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For the one who does evil hates the light and will not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

9 Light fruit is goodness, righteousness and truth.

Firstly honor the God that we walk in the light. Secondly, we have a natural who can not otherwise (1 John 3: 9), but a third thing is that darkness hurt us. John 24:35 says something interesting. "Jesus said to them: Yet a little while is the light amongst you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness come upon you. He that walketh in darkness knoweth namely not whither he goeth and John 11:10 where Jesus says: "Whoever walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him." When we walk in the light, then followed the ad of right and truth. Psalm 23. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord through long times.

Colossians 1 10 Then you can live a life that is worthy of the Lord, and that entirely is the joy for him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

When the believers grow in understanding of both themselves and others in this live pleasing to the Lord and when one begins to explain what it includes, can enough carnal Christians react with either shock or become aggressive. How can one not speak, write and think and so on. But enough about that. Paul speaks very strongly about our LIFE shall be the Lord worthy. We all come up short there many a time but this is and remains the Lord's goal with us. Which is fully enjoyment for him, nothing in our lives will be in darkness but light. Bearing fruit in every good work includes being mature, grow than in the knowledge of God. We as believers begin to grow in the knowledge of God here on earth after we have come to believe but we need an eternity to learn he fully know.

11 The power of his glory to give you strength, so you always persevering and patient.

We as believers have difficulties many times have some more than others. Regardless of that, there are resources of God to meet our needs of everyone. The power of God and by his presence, we will be complemented by his Spirit in all parts. But we must be prepared to be patient because through obedience and patience we tested and it will be revealed what is in our hearts.

12 With joy shall ye thank Father who put you able to share in the saints' inheritance in the light.

We have been part of a legacy as the world's children do not have. They fight over crumbs while we sit with the rich man's table, which is our Father (Luke 15). It is not yet revealed fully, but in the Spirit, we see it and act and live accordingly. On the trek we thank when we've got such a great grace to be in the light. In the light we see completely different things and experience other things than those who live and walk in darkness.

13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into his dear Son.

Once we were also children of darkness and lived as they. We did not know better, at least most of us. But now we have been delivered, and there has been a colossal upheaval, we are now positioned in the Son of God beloved kingdom. What characterizes the kingdom an antithesis of the rich we were before. Before dark, now light. Before hatred, now love. Before frivolity, now the responsibility to follow Jesus and God's word. Before everything is permitted, now we live under God and bound to Christ and God's word. All things were new, so we must live then or then it will be worse off with us than those who have never experienced this.

14 In him we are redeemed and have received forgiveness of sins.

We are redeemed by his precious blood. There we enjoy and will enjoy forever and forever is not easily acquired by God. He renounced his own son and he let die in our place. The forgiveness of our sins are so deep that God will them never remember and all of the effects of sin, he has initiated a helbredelses- process, which the Bible calls for our sanctification.

Final Comment:

Here I have taken a great deal scriptures, disbursements and feedback about what we were before, and what we are now. The contrasts are so great. Therefore we can never in any way, or anything of the old life let apply in the new life!
