Nr. 247: What do you have in your house?

Nr. 247:

What do you have in your house?

Retirement can be your best year when you live as Anna Fanuels daughter who served God in fasting and prayer night and day!

2. Kings 4 1. A woman who was the wife of one of the prophets cried to Elisha and said, Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord, and now is one that he was in debt, and will take both my sons in bondage. 2 Elisha said unto her, What can I do for you? Tell me, What do you have in your house? She said, Your servant has nothing in the house but a jar of anointing oil. 3 Then he said: Go to all your neighbors and ask to borrow some home empty guy, just not too few! 4 Then go in and close the door behind you and your sons and pour the oil in all the vessels, and gradually as they get drunk, put them away. 5 And she left him and closed the door behind him and his sons, the bar guys came up to her, and she poured in. 6 And when the tanks were full, she said to his son, yet carry a container out to me! But he said there are no more man. So the oil. 7 Then she came and told the man of God, and he said, Go and sell the oil and pay your debts, so you and your sons live on what is left over.

When I think of how much I have been involved in the Pentecostal \ Charismatic relationships that have been and for those who are implementing today a pie in the sky with dreams, hopes and visions that do not have the right substance in it. My experience is first and foremost using it already has received from God, before we go there and wishes and dreams of so much more.

The Prophet asked the Prophet's widow following in v. 2, "Elisha said unto her, What can I do for you? Tell me, What do you have in your house? She said, Your servant has nothing in the house but a jar of anointing oil. " Notice that the Prophet asked what she had in the house? I am convinced that the Lord also asks us, what do we have? Not what we want to have, but what we have. Furthermore, we read the text that there was not much she had, just as she herself says, "nothing else in the house but a jar of anointing oil." But what should she do? Obtain more because the guy that God had something on the program that totally blew her limits. But what was the secret? Yes, what's the big secret? Using what you have and not what you have not. It also says the font!
We read further in the story of this widow with two sons whom she was about to go with the doll. V. 3 And he said, Go to all your neighbors and ask to borrow some home empty guy, just not too few! 4 Then go in and close the door behind you and your sons and pour the oil in all the vessels, and gradually as they get drunk, put them away. 5 And she left him and closed the door behind him and his sons, the bar guys came up to her, and she poured in.

It was truly a miracle. She thanks the many tanks and all the vessels were filled with oil that is a picture of joy and spiritual anointing. She was indeed a believer who was richly blessed. She waiting for the worst as we read in v. 1 "A woman who was the wife of one of the prophets cried to Elisha and said, Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord, and now is one that he was in debt and will take both of my sons to bondage. " Was exceedingly blessed, we read from left "6 And when the men were drunk, she told her son: Wear a tank yet until me! But he said there are no more man. So the oil. 7 Then she came and told the man of God, and he said, Go and sell the oil and pay your debts, so you and your sons live on what is left over. "
She had paid the debt and also got plenty of money so that she had more than enough to live on before the rain came and the blessing of Israel as a nation again and everything was "normal."

What was the secret and the solution?

Large prophecies, dreams or aspirations? No and again a no, it was to use it already had on hand and through this experience God's blessing. Smith Wiggelswort was once accused of bad grammar. This parried him to answer the following: I use my g policy to God, do you? "What he would say about it was that he counted on God's blessing when he did what he could, so was the rest up to the Lord. Very often, those who God has used over the years had its limitations, but they have used what they have received, and through it they have become and been a great blessing.

Jesus expects that we are obedient to him and he does wonder

John. e 2 6 Now standing there, after the Jewish purification practices, six stone water jars, each of two or three anchors. 7 Jesus said to them: Fill the tanks with water! And they filled them to overflowing. 8 And he said unto them, Draw now up and carry it to the steward! And they brought it to him. 9 But when the steward tasted the water that had become wine, and did not know where it came from - but the servants who had brought the water, they knew it - when the steward called the bridegroom and said to him: 10 Every man puts first the good wine until and when they are drunk, when the inferior, you have kept the good wine until now. 11 This their first signs did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and revealed his glory, and his disciples believed in him.

The miracle here also occurred when a hearing with faith in Jesus who said that one should take plain water in the tanks was used to purify themselves before one would stand before God. They were filled with water and then they carried it before him who had control and responsibility for what was served at the wedding. Then the water turned into wine and the wines were the evening's very best wine that is a picture of joy and spiritual anointing. It is through our obedience - many times it is everyday landscape - that miracle happens and God works!

Dreams and visions take many times the life force out of you

When someone like me has been involved in the Pentecostal-charismatic community will understand a lot of times where superficial and dangerous such an environment can be for the spiritual life.

Fork. 5. 2 For the very hard work and hustle are dreams, and with too many words follow bad speech. 6 For there are many dreams, it is also much emptiness, and also where there are many words. Rather fear God!

This is written out what I have experienced, but it causes almost never present, although I also believe in the prophetic voice, etc. But above all, to do the best you can and expect that God blesses the rest, it is my experience and what I want to proclaim that this is the best way.

Matt. 6. 33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these added unto you
Fork. 9. 10a All that your hand is able to do with your power, you shall do!

The fact that an applicant first His kingdom and doing everything as best you can. Based on what the oil and the wine and everything coming from the sky over our lives.

In the kingdom of God is never unemployed

When one has been the faithful congregation through a few years, there are some people there that you learn to put extra appreciated. And there are ones that I choose to call Anna Fanuelsdøtrene. Named after the heroine and the witness described in Luke 2:36-38. She wished that the Lord Yeshua welcome!

For what is it about her? Her name is Anna. Or rather: Hanna. From Hebrew Chanan, graciousness, favor the English, favored, honored in Norwegian. It's about grace.

Firstly, she has probably been the "roots" conscious. And good it is. She belonged to the tribe of Asher, we read. One of these strains as "lost" after the Northern Kingdom (Israel) was occupied in the year 722 BC and the population relocated and "replaced". But the tribe was and is not lost to God. And in Scripture we see the glorious promises made precisely this family of 12-tribe people. Promises we can read in the prophetic light. She served obesity, delicious dishes for kings. Yes, the King of Kings! And she had strength for the day and his whole life so she could enjoy the space and the service she was there and then. In other words: The right person in the right place - at the right time. See 1MOS 49:20 and 5Mos 33:24-25.
Anna was old. 84 years. Then we can ask each other åssen the old are valued and treated in our parishes. Is there someone we expect? Honor? Listening to? Or are those items that are out of date? Smaller and perhaps nothing worth? Everyone must answer for themselves.

But remember: It was the old Anna Fanuels daughter for the first never left the temple! Feel free to read 1 Timothy 3:15: God's house, which is the living God church. And Hebrews 10:25: Absence not to come together!
She served God in fasting and prayer night and day. By praising God. And speaking of him (See Joh16: 14) to all those awaiting the redemption of Jerusalem. (See Es 52:9). She saw Jesus, and it is said that Simeon who also saw that Jesus was this right after the high priest Aaron in the hereditary line but he was held without a past, when the clergy let the second one they should have this service enter.

The largest of our service is our intercession for others

To believe that when an example is that when the retiree becomes redundant, that's when it starts. This is usually more time and can begin to live in seclusion with God, often in prayer and fasting. And through it than to the greater blessing than ever in their lives. Learn to use what you have, be down to earth and the sky turned simultaneously, and God will bless you in a way you do not recognize or understand.

From my commentaries Ephesians 3 20 He who works in us by his power, and can do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine,

Prayer is simply conversation with God. It's in the Bible, Psalm 4.3. "Know that the Lord does work wonders for those who are faithful to him. The Lord hears when I call to him. "
Prayer is a powerful asset and a great privilege. It's in the Bible, Hebrews 4:16. "Let us therefore boldly approach the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time."
We can come to God just as we are. It's in the Bible, Psalm 65.3. "You answer prayer. All people come to you. "
How willing is God to hear and answer our prayer? It's in the Bible, Matthew 7.11. "If you then being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him."
What must we do to get the blessings and the help we need? It's in the Bible, Matthew 7.7 to 8. "Ask and ye shall receive. Seek, and ye shall find. Knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened up. "
We are encouraged to ask God for many things, including wisdom and insight. It's in the Bible, James 1:5-8, TLB. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, and he shall receive, for God gives to all generously and without reproach. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. Do not be such a person will receive anything from the Lord; who he is and unstable in all he does. "
Under what circumstances is our prayer to God, the psalmist? It's in the Bible, Psalm 66:18-19, NIV. "If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. But God has surely heard! He listened to my prayer. "
Are there any requirements for how our prayer? It's in the Bible, Proverbs 28.9. "When people turn away their ears and not listen to counsel, then, even his prayer an abomination."
In whose name should we use when we pray? It's in the Bible, John 14:13-14, TLB. "What you ask in my name, I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. "
Do not forget to thank God for His answers to prayer. It's in the Bible, Philippians 4:6. "Be anxious for nothing! But let all that you are on your mind, come to God in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving! "
How often should we pray to God? It's in the Bible, Ephesians 6:18, TLB. "Do this in prayer, and put it all to God! Pray at all times in the Spirit! Watch and keep praying earnestly for all Christians. "1 Thessalonians 5.17. "Be still."
Sometimes God answers our prayers before we ask him for help. It's in the Bible, Isaiah 65:24, TLB. "Before they call, I answer, while they are yet speaking I will hear."
Sometimes God says no to our request. It's in the Bible, 2 Corinthians 12.8 to 9. "Three times I besought the Lord that it had to be taken from me, but he replied:" My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness. "Therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest in me. "
Sometimes God answers our prayer: wait a minute - please be patient. It's in the Bible, Psalm 37.7. "Be still before the Lord and wait for him!"
There is no limit to what God is able to do to help us. Ephesians 3:20, NIV. "He works in us by his power, and can do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine."
In which God promised to meet our needs? It's in the Bible, Philippians 4:19, NIV. "And my God, who is glorious riches in Christ Jesus, will meet all your needs."
What can I pray to God? It's in the Bible, Romans 8:26-27, TLB. "Likewise the Spirit also helps our weakness. For we do not know what to ask to be right, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings which can not be expressed in words. And God who searches the hearts knows what the Spirit will, for the Spirit pleads for the saints according to God's will. "This is wrong translation, as it is in the basic text that the spirit helps us in prayer with sighs.
What does Christ say we must make sure that our prayers will be heard? It's in the Bible, Mark 11:24. "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in your prayers - believe that ye receive them, and ye shall receive."
What petitions, we can confidently expect God to? It's in the Bible, 1 John 5:14-15, TLB. "This is the assurance we have of him that he hears us when we ask anything according to His will. And when we know that he hears us-whatever we ask, we know that we have what we asked of him. "
Does the Bible give a model prayer? It's in the Bible, Matthew 6.9 to 11. "How you should pray: Our Father, who art in heaven! Let your name be kept holy. Let your kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. "
Prayers are not magic. It's in the Bible, Matthew 6:7-8, TLB. When you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think they will be heard for their many words. Do not be like them! For your Father knows what you need before you ask him about it. "

21 to him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all generations and all ages! Amen.

We know that God is honored in Christ. But in the same degree of honor God in Christ will is the will of God that he be honored in the church. God never looks at us believers as individuals but as a whole!
