Jostein Kirkenes divorced for the third time, back in the "Service" Again, there is nothing to prevent someone from standing forth as God's "servants"?
Image of Åge
Samuelsen. For me it emerges Åge Samuelsen as the greatest spiritual capacity
Norway has fostered since Hans Nielsen Hauge, but how did it with brotherly
Åge? Just thought of the songs he has written, inconceivable that a man could
write such good songs.
But here did
not match the life and teachings, map and compass. I think that Brother Aage
was gloriously saved, but I would say a miserable life and service up against
what he might have had!
Should one
be saved - then a single to invoke the Lord's name - which is Jesus. Scripture
says:
From my
commenced commentaries Gospel of John 1 11 He came unto his own, but his own
received him not. We have two options to react. The first is to reject, as most
did and still does. This negative possibility mentioned first.
Actually,
the incomprehensible, for Jesus came into the world that he helped to create
(ref. V3). Therefore, the world v11 called for their own "and the people
who live there for his own." To reject Jesus is thus rejecting his own
creator and brother.12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God - those who believe in His name.
The Word
says that he gave them the right to become children of God. That all who
accepted Jesus he gave authority to become children of God. Accepting Jesus is
the same as believing in his name. In the term "name" is that Jesus
is anointed by God to be the Savior of the world. In the Old Covenant was king,
prophet and priest (chief priest) anointed. Therefore we speak about Jesus
tripartite task. He is king, prophet, and high priest. He is king of the
universe. He is a prophet who preaches the word of God, and he is the high
priest who wears himself to God as a vicarious sacrifice. Jesus Christ took all
the sins of the world on up on the cross and took the punishment on himself and
died as a sinner and felon and was buried. Death could not, however, hold onto
him for his death, he died to sin, but his life, he lives for God. Therefore,
he stood up for our justification. Scripture says, "Him who knew no sin
God made sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of
God" 2 Corinthians 5:21.
Therefore,
whoever takes refuge in Jesus and go to him with their sins and failures and
believes in him justified and is a child of God. He is born of God, that he is
reborn by the Spirit of God.
13 They are
not born of flesh and blood, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but of
God.
By the new
birth gets the penitent sinner saving faith and a new heart and a new setting.
It is a miracle of God's grace is happening in the individual's heart when
God's word first gets to show the sinner's true standing before a holy God and
opposition to God ceases and the gospel will make his merciful deed.
(end of
quote).
I do not
doubt that Jostein Kirkenes now when he lives single after three breakups are
saved. But for me it is completely wrong that he should serve God in a public
position protruding who have taken the word of God and marriage as little
seriously.
I know there
are a thousand excuses for everything, but neon seats have a limit go ?!
Imagine a
professional driver who not only once but three times running down some
pedestrians so that they die and are badly injured. Of course there are many
excuses for such events. Sola, weather, stressed etc. but that person would
still drive a large vehicle? Obviously not say, absolutely right. So says the
Lord also to hold a service.
"Moreover
it is required in stewards that one be found faithful."
I must say
that Jostein Kirkenes as worship leader at Evangelisenteret has been sharply
unfaithful, more and many times!
We are all
sinners who are saved by grace, all we need God's grace etc. Let's be clear!
But there is
yet something else to serve God and fail so time after time, then you have some
say stop! Or God must intervene in each case and he judgment?
What is also
sad here is the testimony this gives outward. It's no big deal, you can live as
you want, there is always grace to get. Yes, with Allah is great grace to get.
I hope that Jostein Kirkenes has gained favor with him? I do not know! But to
hold a service, such as Jostein Kirkenes. That I mean he has been disqualified
for having.
Jimmy
Swaggart that I put so much failed, but there took his wife back to him, and
the church forgave him. Everything was put on the "right" place
again, it shall be possible to serve the Lord again. But not like here, where
everything is chaos and disorder!
We must
distinguish between being saved and serving the Lord. No one who has betrayed
the Lord as Jostein Kirkenes time after time, and continues, should have a
visible public service. This has something with that one: "Moreover it is
required in stewards that one be found faithful."

1 Cor. 3. 11
For no one can lay any other foundation than that which is laid, which is Jesus
Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation with gold, silver,
precious stones, wood, hay, stubble, 13 each man's work will become evident;
for the day shall declare it, because it is revealed with fire, and how man's
work is, the fire shall prove. 14 About the work that one has built, says
himself, he shall receive a reward; 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he
shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved, yet so as by fire.
