Explanatory comment:After feedback then I explain something closer regarding the meetings with Jimmy Swaggart August 1987 Crusade in Long Island, New York where he was exposed for many thousands of people, but would not repent!He had then meet there with all Assembly of God churches in the district around there.He who was the leader of those meetings, one amalgamations of churches there, got a dream that he publicly spoke out. This Italie guy who I've talked to on the phone afterwards which itself was as surprised as everyone else how true dreamed he had been!He'd had a nightmare-like dream of Jimmy Swaggart way I remember it, where he witnessed a snake attacked him as he was Swaggart.This pastor woke up from the nightmare through sweating, and he had been in combat. This snake would kill and kill him.He said publicly to Jimmy how I remember it as follows: "Jimmy is really all right with you, we shall pray for you, or what is it?"Swaggart sipped with glasses who at the time was as big as saucers. But he would not admit his sin there and be prayed for. Unfortunately, he was too proud for that. When he came forward in February 1988 it was sadly no surprise, this was already revealed in August 1987 Crusade in Long Island, New York. Where he was exposed for many thousands of people, but would not repent as I have already written about!But God is gracious, Jimmy Swaggart a back and serve God now with Francis and the church in Baton Rouge in Louisiana Lord 80 years (young) old!

Why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? You have not lied to men but to God. 5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down and died. And great fear came upon all who heard it; 6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out and buried him. 7 And it was about three hours; when his wife, not knowing what had happened. 8 And Peter answered and said unto her, Tell me: Was it sold the land for so much? She said, Yes, for so much. 9 Then Peter said to her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of Jehovah? See, their feet who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out. 10 And immediately she fell at his feet, and expired, and the young men came in and found her dead; and they carried her out and buried her by her husband. 11 And great fear came upon all the church and upon all who heard these things.

Think not about small church of God, the sin that you live in as believers will be revealed sooner or later! Repent while you still have time and opportunity!

There are those who believe that they can live in secret sin, or otherwise associate with God's law and God's word. But it can probably not! And God is the same as he was at the time of the apostles. This got even Jimmy Swaggart experience, and he is no exception, but the "rule!"

I remember this very well, I was close to Jimmy Swaggart. He had a great campaign in August 1987 Crusade in Long Island, New York. It was a Pastor with an Italian look that I've talked to on the phone afterwards that revealed Jimmy. He said these freely reproduced: "I had a dream brother Jimmy, I sweated all over me. It was like a snake that had a grip on me, and it was you Jimmy. And he asked Jimmy directly in front of several thousand people if everything is well with you? Jimmy did not answer, but then he was revealed. But it was almost half a year before he was exposed for the "whole" world!

Does not God control over his congregation? Yes, he has!

1 Cor. 14. 24 But if all prophesy, and there come in an unbeliever or unlearned, he is convinced he by all and judged by all, 25 secrets of his heart thoughts revealed, and so he will fall on his face and worship God, declaring that God is really among you.

When Jimmy Swaggart stood up for the "whole" world in February 1988, when it was known already for certain that he lived as he should. So it is today, God has His servants whom He reveals ALWAYS THERE FOR NEEDED FOR THE CHURCH TO BE CLEAN!

Amos 3 7 For the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

I spoke by phone with the pastor who revealed Jimmy in August 1987.

Now I do not remember the name since it is so long ago. But what I remember him saying that he himself was totally surprised. And afterwards as he realized that he had dreamed true, as the scripture says so.

Acts 2. 17 And it shall happen in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams ;

God gave this brother this revelation in your sleep, and there are of course other ways the Lord can and will speak to us. All the time that the church should go forward in a right and proper way!

Final Comment:

What can this incident teach us? Much, including God always warns us before he reveals us for the "whole" world. I believe that God speaks to us in the following manner.

 1) First, in private with the Lord.

 2.) Secondly, the brothers and sisters in the Lord.

 3.) As for "the whole world!"

It is a development, a stage where God first wants to get us close. Worketh not, then it is through other people. And finally, so we are really humbled. If possible, that the Lord may get raised us up again. Like here with Swaggart then held both marriage and the church forgave him. But as good as it happened with Jimmy that we have no guarantee it will go with us! God clearly showed mercy again when he repented, and his family and wife forgave him all his great iniquity!

Therefore, you have sin or other unsettled in your life? Bring it to God. Makes up between you and the person or persons concerned. Let nothing stand between you and God in some areas in your life!

Matt. 5. 23 Therefore, when you carry your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar and go first be reconciled to thee to thy brother, and came so and offer thy gift! 25 Make haste to be yielding against your opponent while you are with him on the road, lest the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. 26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.

The simple really, you live as a believer? Then take courage! Are you living the way you should not as a believer, you are a minister or not. Stop and do about your sin!

This tells us the story of Jimmy Swaggart. Make one up their sin gets "bay" with it. As is always your best in front, and the ability of God is there. God is gracious, but there is a way to go, in order to partake in his great mercy, who are in Christ Jesus!
