No. 1006: Anointing protects!

No. 1006:
Anointing protects!

To walk with God is really a "twofold" life. On one side is a an outcast in this world. But so is also God's favor, protection and management on the other side. These are really two sides of the same coin!

As a believer, then we belong not long ourselves but God. We are his property, he does with us what he thinks is best. Therefore what happens to believers are no coincidences, which occurs at random. It is Gudvill, we are God's property. Then it's up to him to do with his property what he thinks is best. But at the same time, there is also protection in this.

Photo by Miriam who had become a leper, but later healed when she was asked for and repented. Delightful with people who repent and acknowledge that one has been wrong. And begin the pilgrimage with God all over again, wonderful!

We are protected by God even we who are believers. Living our life in Christ.

Therefore when someone opposes us, scolds us out, lying on us etc. So they're lying on God's possession, it shows the respect they have towards us, it is the respect they have towards God. If someone comes onto our property, takes over and do what they want. How could we then react? Of course, we had ordered them away. Hopefully they had realized this, if not then had a begun with stronger measures. It is after all not their property they enter, but spring and it can not take their place without our permission and the questions about this!

We have many examples in Scripture that anointing protector, when a Jehovah Witness!

We read about Miriam who spoke ill of Moses the servant and her brother. Apparently the criticism "right", but it was totally wrong when she had something about it she stated philosophy about. On the contrary, both Moses wife and her family, particularly her father a great help and again for both Moses and the Israelites. When the burden became too great for Moses regarding judging Israel, it was Moses father in law who found out what the solution should be. It was to divide Israel into smaller units who sentenced between brothers what was right and what was wrong.

For Miriam, Moses's sister was leprous this. But was "saved" Moses interceded and God's grace. It could have gone much worse, but here was God gracious.

4 Exodus 12. 1. Disposable spoke Miriam and Aaron Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman. 2 And they said: Is it just Moses Lord spoken, has he not spoken also by us? And the Lord heard it. 3 Moses was very meek, above all the men on earth. 4 And suddenly the Lord said to Moses and to Aaron and Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tent! And they three came out. 5 And the LORD came down in a pillar of cloud and stood at the entrance of the tent, and called Aaron and Miriam; and they both came forth. 6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. 7 But it is not with my servant Moses; He is faithful in all my house. 8 Mouth to mouth I speak with him, clearly and not in riddles, and he beholding figure. Wherefore not afraid to speak ill of my servant Moses? 9 And the Lord's anger was kindled against them, and he went away. 10 And when the cloud departed from the tent, behold, Miriam was leprous, white as snow; and when Aaron turned toward Miriam, he saw that she was leprous. 11 Aaron said to Moses, O my lord! Let not the sin we have so foolishly! 12 Let her not be as one dead, whose flesh is half consumed when he comes out of the womb! 13 And Moses cried to the Lord and said, Oh God, heal her! 14 And the Lord said unto Moses, If her father had spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? Let her be shut outside the camp seven days, so she can come back again. 15 And Miriam was shut outside the camp seven days; and the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again. 16 After broke up the crowd from Hazeroth and encamped in the wilderness of Paran.

Here was the church stopped in his walk for seven days, all due disobedience and Miriam spoke against Moses. Here we see that it was God's anointing that protected Moses. Jo, "anointing protects" it is safe and shown.

We find many examples in both the new and the old testament that anointing protector.

Anointing protected both Jesus, Paul and the other apostles. It is important to understand, it is that no one can ho longer a member of the body of Christ than God himself does. Therefore, we who are believers, not something to fear.

We read many times about Jesus that anointing protected him, here's an example:

Luke 4 28 And all in the synagogue were filled with anger when they heard this, 29 and they got up and drove him out of town, and brought him out on the brow of the hill that their city was built, to cast him down. 30 But he passing through the midst of them went his.

This of course was humanly impossible. Jesus as a human being should be able to walk my undergone a berm that would kill him. What was the secret? Anointing, the anointing protected Jesus and made him capable of doing great wonders.

We read about the Apostle Paul:
Acts 28. And when we had escaped, we learned that the island was called Malta. 2 The Uncommonly benevolence towards us; they kindled a fire, and received us all, because it had started to rain and was cold. 3 But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand. 4 When the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to themselves, This man is a murderer, as Justice has not allowed to live, though he has escaped from the sea. 5 He shook off the beast into the fire and suffered no ill effects; 6 But they expected that he would swell or drop dead immediately. When they had waited a long time, and so he did not have any evil of it, they came on second thoughts, and said he was a god. 7 the neighborhood of that place had the first man of the island, named Publius; He welcomed us and showed us gracious hospitality for three days. 8 And there came down so that Publius' father was very sick with fever and blood started; Paul went in to him and prayed and laid hands on him and healed him. 9 But when this had happened, came also the other in the island who had diseases, and were healed. 10 They also showed us great honor and when we went there, they brought in the ship that we might have use for.

Here again we see how the anointing protects, and what is absolutely humanly impossible makes God. Paul was bitten by a powerful poison worm, but no damage to him. He stood up and preached and healed other sick, anointing protector, accomplishments and make the impossible possible.

Final Comment:
There is also a serious aspect of this. It protects a Jehovah Witness, those who belong to the Lord. Satan, other people and the circumstances do not go longer with us than God permits. Anointing opened the way for Moses and the Israelites across the Red Sea. But for the Egyptians became a disaster. They perished when God let water flow back. We read that God wanted them to get to know that it was not only a loving and good God against Israel. But faced with the Egyptians was he judgmental and vindictive. And God is so today too.

2 Genesis 14 18 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I reveal my glory through Pharaoh, his chariots and horsemen.

We read further what happened:

2 Genesis 14 19 And the angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; cloud, which was ahead of them, moved and stood behind them, 20 And it came between the Egyptian camp and the camp of Israel; on one side was a cloud and darkness, and on the other hand gave light by night; and the one came not near the other all night. 21 Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord drove the sea with a strong east wind that blew all night, and he turned the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided. 22 The Israelites went through the sea on dry land, and the waters were a wall on their right and on their left. 23 And the Egyptians pursued and followed them to the midst of the sea, all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots and horsemen. 24 that in the morning the LORD looked unto from the combustion chamber and cloud down the camp of the Egyptians, and he confused the Egyptian camp, 25 and smote off their chariot wheels, so it was hard for them to arrive. Egyptians said: Let us flee from Israel; for the Lord fights for them against the Egyptians. 26 The LORD said to Moses, Stretch out thy hand over the sea, that the waters return upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots and their horsemen. 27 Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and when it was getting towards morning the sea returned to his strength, and the Egyptians fled against it; and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians midst of the sea. 28 And the waters returned and covered the chariots and horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came after them into the sea; there remained not so much as one of them. 29 But the Israelites walked on dry ground through the sea, and the waters were a wall on their right and on their left. 30 Thus the LORD saved the day Israel hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians lying dead on the sea shore. 31 And Israel saw the great work which the Lord had done against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord; and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.

Anointing seems also the case that those who stand against this, they get sooner or later observing and experiencing a judgment. And the verdict may in many cases be very hard, and to their own destruction.

I've written about two such judgments here:

Therefore, any view that he / she opposes God. We know when the apostle Paul persecuted the early Christians as Jesus revealed himself to him. What did he say?
You are persecuting me. It pursuing the true believers, speak evil of them, and otherwise thwart them. It is to thwart the Lord Jesus, so serious it is. But to support the Lord's true witnesses, those who have an anointing from God, it is to support the Lord himself.

Acts 9. 1. Saul, yet breathing of threatening and slaughter against the disciples, and he went to the high priest 2 and asked of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any belonging to the Way, both men and women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. 3 But on the journey it happened that he got close to Damascus, and suddenly there shone a light from heaven about him, 4 and he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him: Saul! Saul! why are you persecuting me? 5 He said: Who art thou, Lord? And he answered, I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.
