If people fail, it never fails the living and almighty God!
This is me and my wife Berit Nyland Christensen who has started and founded the church Smyrna Oslo the first time in 1990 and re-started the church in 2009.
Eph. 2. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. From my commentaries Hebrews 11 23 I believe it was the parents of Moses hid the boy in three months when he was born, for they saw that it was a healthy child. Having something in front of him and not be disobedient to the call, task, work and service that God has given and put into one's inner being is of paramount importance. The call comes responsibility and skilled cleaning of God. Acts 23. 19 Therefore, King Agrippa, I have not been disobedient to the heavenly vision. 28 By faith he kept Easter and ran the blood on the doorframes, that the destroying angel would not touch the firstborn of Israel. It paid off and it always pays to trust in God and his servants. 29 By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land. But when the Egyptians tried to do the same, were drowned. It is a crucial difference to be under God's grace or God's wrath. Faith is what makes a difference. Faith in the Lord and his words will always bring salvation, deliverance and an end result to live with. One is ultimately victorious! (End of quote).
My call to preach deed
To describe a call to preach the deed is not easy as I experienced it as a clear voice that came from heaven, but in and with the baptism of the Holy Spirit then came the "forward" in me. Before that I was an "anonymous" believers, but as the experience I had a supernatural power and anointing. The first person who said it to me directly as I remember I had a call to preach was a veteran in the free friends Bjarne Steel Power. I was saved in January 1981 and baptized in the Holy Spirit with tongues april 82 Call to preach came in and Spirit Baptism min. Got confirmation of a preacher, even more preachers in free friends. Among other Bjarne Steel Power said directly to me that I had called to proclaim that I have already mentioned. It was, I believe in May 1982 after I had testified at a meeting at Ebenezer in Skudeneshavn where I grew up. He took me aside and talked to me and said how I remember that I had a calling to preach. I do not remember everything verbatim but I said something like how he could know that? When he replied that when I heard that the witness as he noticed that this was not myself only, but a piece of equipment and understanding of the word of God given to me by God. Afterwards, I began including the Bible school at Smyrna Bible Institute as it was then called, now called the force school near Tønsberg in Re municipality. So it was really kind of impact so that I can say that the burgeoning call was not from myself but from the living and almighty God. We talked about this yesterday, I and my wife and she noticed when we were out to have meetings that the Holy Spirit was very specific and without doubt it, so I had a vocation preaches and preaches task!
My \ our call to start Smyrna Oslo
It is important to understand something that I've learned time and understood that one can get and have a calling from God to like me to start a church. Then there is also a responsibility on the individual to complete and to get the fight out to complete the call, the task and service. Begun is not finished. One can have a calling but still not complete the call, duties, and service, even if it is from God. We are even putting stamp on the call, the service task and how devoted, selvoppfordrende and sanctified, we are! Now this may seem to many as if we are to decide it all, it is not. To say that I experience it as it is as if God is calling me or called me to go into this "tunnel" if there were thousands of others. God says go on the road, but it's up to me to be obedient to go on this way. The Lord is leading a first steps, so one must go even the next. It is as a coordination and a combination between me on one side, and God and his åndehær on the other side. There, we both work and hopefully pull in the same direction. Even if one is disobedient and do not complete the call, so there is there. Almost as an untapped resource and an unused capital. But when you start moving in the right direction, it is as if the capital is beginning again to be put to use. It has been there all along, but it is up to the person calling and service, taking it to use and make itself the use of it!
If God is dependent on other people? Or does God do all the "self"?
This I think is extremely difficult to answer, because I know and have experience of it is the interaction between humans and God. But God is above us and can choose to do things their way or let other people help or hinder us! This is also a very big topic, but I think the Smyrna Oslo is really ahead of their time with the truths we hold out, the Christian world once again for those who go the way of God. Ability and understanding of it is in accordance with God's word when it comes to such divorce remarriage, charismatic deception, eternal damnation, the Trinity is a Catholic error, etc.
Where we go from here?
It knows only God! But now it is the intention that we move closer to the city, pray for this dear friend who reads this. Having the intercession of other people is more important than anything! We want to develop the website, rent to own local meetings and otherwise do everything for the gospel and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Otherwise it is actually the most part our way, and better it will be! And do not do it, God is as faithful and good! See no reason to hang out with the head, but to correct the head when the Lord is with and soon our redemption before!
1000 members?
I feel that there is a need for a church that Smyrna Oslo both here in the capital and a plow eat for the whole of Norway. A church that does not provide entertainment to young people with rock and other trash. Who does not permit remarriage of believers in the management of the church, which holds forth the word of God and live accordingly and take the word of God seriously. There have been so many revivals and it is really so much good soil here in Norway is among the believers, if given the opportunity and have the opportunity to have heard a true and Biblical message! As more and more waking up from spiritual sleep, apathy and indifference, I am sure! We do not only want people who are frustrated, who miss friends and everything else. They are also welcome, but someone who also got a glimpse inside the heavenly world as the Apostle Paul, and who knows what it's about. Our eternal welfare! There, we will serve the Lord in faithfulness both in this life and in the future!
Acts 26. 19 Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, 20 but both of them in the first Damascus and Jerusalem and throughout Judea countries and for the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and come back to God and do deeds that is repentance. 21 For these things took some Jews blame me in the temple and sought to kill me. 22 Thus have I received help from God and is to this day, and witnesses for both small and great, as I do not say anything other than what the prophets and Moses said would happen: 23 that the Christ should suffer, and that he as the first of the resurrection of the dead should proclaim light to the people and the Gentiles.
Conclusion:
Is not giving up but going after the "instructions" and what one knows is right in his own heart. My calling as a preacher, I am sure and that it is in Oslo city that is my "main shell" I am also fully satisfied, even if the external circumstances both speeches against and for!
The finger of God!
When we decided to move back to Oslo and since then things have gone right. But I also believe that I \ we are back with their influences to the extent that the Lord will develop, bear fruit and do his work in and with us! This is from my commentaries Ephesians 6 18 Do this in prayer, and put it all to God! Pray at all times in the Spirit! Watch and keep praying earnestly for all Christians, To take on the whole armor of God and fight the spiritual battle can be a struggle and hard work. But he has not called us to a sofa toilers, but to work in his vineyard, as members of his body, such as voluntary helpers and active Christians in the congregation and church. It pays to set aside time for prayer, but prayer is also at rest.
