No. 679:

My view of predestination , or Calvinism!

Predestination is the doctrine of predestination of God for the salvation of mankind brief:

I do not consider myself as a Calvinist , then I really think that Luther that it is only God who knows in the end who will be saved. The secret things belong unto scripture says . For me this is something of a secret, but the Father knows the only true God who accepts and who does not. We should only do one thing, preaching the gospel and by all water. So God will take care of this to others, who receives and who does not receive . In many ways, then hear this in the Lord's hidden treasure and we first want to get the answer to the home of God

5 Genesis 29 29 The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever , that we may do all the words of this law .

Magnus Persson from Malmo and United church believe as I have understood it in predestination , or Calvinism , and has been boycotted and kept out of several that he worked with before as far as I know. However, his teachings so wrong ? I do not know so well to it all , but God the Father knows exactly who should be saved and not saved, it is evident when he knows the end from the beginning. What Luther taught and anything:

The doctrine of God's predestination of the individual to salvation or damnation . Predestination starting point is the belief in God's omnipotence and omniscience , nothing happens without the will of God. Furthermore, predestination determined by the teaching that sinful man itself is lost , salvation is a miracle, that is because the believers are chosen to salvation according to God's eternal decision. The New Testament has no coherent learning about predestination , but many statements can be interpreted in favor of the (Rom 8.29 , 9.18 ; Eph 1.4 ; Jn 6,70 ) .

A theological teachings about predestination was first formulated by Augustine, who in the struggle against Pelagius ' synergism claimed that man can not do anything for their salvation , and that therefore God has chosen a certain number of salvation. Calvin represents predestination in its strictest form, but this rigorous learning is maintained not by the Reformed churches of our time. Also Luther advocated predestination , as he bonded with the tradition of Augustine . For Luther , it is important not to make this theme the subject of theological speculation , for whom it had with the hidden and not revealed God. The doctrine is not taken up in the Lutheran confessional writings .

What Calvin taught and stood for , taken from Wikipedia:

The Reformed Church is a Protestant denomination that has been discontinued by Ulrich Zwinglis and Jean Calvin's work in the Reformation in the 1500s , takes this as a disclosure of Calvin , they have approx . 75 million members worldwide .

superb grace

Calvinism emphasizes the complete destruction of man's ethical nature, set against God's sovereign grace in salvation . It teaches that man is totally unable to follow God or escape his condemnation , and that the only way to salvation is that God overrides their unwilling hearts so that they turned from rebellion to willing obedience. No one can come to me unless the Father draws him , Scripture says .

Everyone is after this vision fully mercy of God's grace. He could equitably condemning all people for their sins , but has chosen to show mercy to someone to bring glory to his name. A human salvation while another is lost , and this happens not because of will, faith or virtue , but because God has made a sovereign decision to show mercy. The person must act to believe and be saved, but this obedience of faith , according to Calvinism God's gift , not a choice made through free will .

Calvinists believe this demonstrates the reach of God's love when he saves those who can not or will follow him. It also believes that commemoration of this doctrine removes pride and self-righteousness . Sanctifying sought by Calvinists through continuous trust in God , which cleanses the believer's heart.

"Life is religion"

The Calvinist way of life is the result of a fundamental religious consciousness that is centered on God's sovereign grace. Calvinism presupposes that God's goodness and power has a free and unrestricted trade fields, and this leads to the conviction that God works in all aspects of life , both secular and sacred , public and private, and the spiritual and the physical.

As a result of this view believed that God's plan is present and evolving in any event. This leads to an absolute dependency on God, who not only associated with pious acts of prayer , but also with all other things in life .

Based on the Law of Moses commandment permitted images in Calvinist churches . Scriptures are the only permissible decorations.

Calvinism five points

Calvinist theology summarized often in the so-called five points , which is a contraction of the determinations made in the Council of Dort and published in response to five challenges from arminianerne . Calvin himself never used such a model , but the points are a useful tool to identify key elements that distinguish Calvinism from other Christians directions.

The five points are:

Total syndeforderv : As a result of the Fall , all people are slaves to sin . Man is thus by its very nature not ready to love God , but would rather serve their own interests and reject God. Man is unable to choose to follow God's commandments and be saved , because it no longer lies in its nature.

Unconditional election : God chose in eternity those he will save , without any conditions or reservations . Because the election occurred before the selected birth implies also a predestination .

Limited atonement : If Christ's death was the punishment for the sins committed by God decided to save purged. Christ's atoning sacrifice only took away the sins of the elect, and not all of humanity.

Irresistible grace : the grace of God given to those God has chosen and predestined to salvation , and overcome their resistance so that they come to a saving faith .

The perseverance of the saints : They really have been saved , you can not lose salvation . The Saints used by Calvinists they really are saved through God's election , not the instance . the sense found in the Catholic Church (see saint ) ( end of quote ) .

We do not know everything , not even Jesus knows everything , but only know the only true God , the Father. Yes, Father knows everything , and when the fullness of the Gentiles has come in, so Jesus comes again .

Rooms . 11 25 For I would not, brethren , that ye should be ignorant of this mystery - lest ye think ye even wise - that blindness in part is happened to Israel , until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Mark 1:32 p.m. But of that day or hour no one knows , not even the angels in heaven , neither the Son , but the Father .

46:10 I like end from the beginning , and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying , My counsel shall stand, and what I want, I do,

I and all who are saved , are not really " saved" four times !

1 ) Before the foundation , so we were all chosen in Christ.

From my commentaries Ephesians 1 4 In Christ hath chosen us before the world was made, that we should be holy and flawless in His sight .

Excerpt from verse four : We read about a synonym verse to that verse in 1 Pet. 1 20 He was destined before this world was created , and for their sake he's been revealed now by the end of time . We study Jesus in his pre-existence as there are many things and aspects of him as a diver up . Here are some of my thoughts as I can fleeting mention that I want to capture both the further commentaries , blog and articles. Father decided and foresaw all this, so he had to have one that was able to undertake the Fall consequences and then restoration. Here Jesus was chosen by the Father before all, before the foundation was laid. This is very deep and difficult thoughts and aspects to familiarize themselves and could easily go wrong on the road .

We find several places in Scripture , both Old and New Testament that Jesus had a beginning as opposed to the Father who does not have a beginning . Micah 5 1 But you , Bethlehem Ephrathah , the least among the clans of Judah ! From you I let a man who will be ruler over Israel. He has its origins in ancient times , he is from ancient days.

Jesus originated from Aion which means forever or a very long time , but the Father is from Aion x to try to explain it in words translated from Hebrew to Norwegian . Father is from eternity eternity , the Son from eternity or ancient days + when he has a beginning unlike the Father who is without beginning . But there are also angels from ancient days and they are mentioned in scripture as Gods on several occasions. But here we come many times out wrong for several reasons. Las me briefly mention a few:

1 ) We have a false trinity doctrine that sits in the back of the head with all of us.

2 ) God's word in the original version is not written in lowercase only major .

3 ) The translations are not 100 % reliable every verse therefore MUST be checked against all synonym verse to get the most correct overall .

4 ) The details of God's word has often been overlooked to bring out the main truths . This again allows the main truths do not stand up . That's when the details are right that allows the main truths stand out .

5 ) We put pressure on certain words and phrases that would either become stressed and press in some other parts of verses and passages . Jesus pointed this out with a tittle of the law would not pass away . Then we need to understand it to mean that we overlook things , many times unproven and in good faith.

But why was Jesus chosen? As I write this I do not know it 100%. But we can mention a few things. Just want to bring that angels are also in Scripture named as Gods. Psalm 97 7 Confounded be all who worship images , that boast themselves of idols . All gods must bow to him. Was he born to be the Christ? This sounds more logical, but we do not know 100 % . This is not for me an essential learning but there are aspects here that I think that ia the false doctrine of the Trinity has destroyed and made a misunderstand a lot . Jesus was foreknown and we were chosen in him before the foundation . God the Father had a solution to our problems long before they occur. Such a great , wonderful and mighty God we have , Hallelujah !

2 ) On the cross were all saved when Jesus atoned all the sins of all people at all times .

1 Jn . b 2 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only but also for the whole world .

3 ) The day you and I received salvation , then it was not only an objective part of salvation, but a subjective ! Taking a contrary salvation in Christ Jesus, that becomes a child of God .

From my preliminary commentaries Gospel of John 1 12 But to all who received him , to them gave he power to become children of God - those who believe in His name.

Word is that he gave them the right to become children of God. That means that anyone who accepted Jesus gave authority to become children of God . Accepting Jesus is the same as believing in his name. The term " name " is that Jesus is anointed by God to be the Savior of the world . In the Old Testament the king , prophet and priest (and high priest ) anointed . Therefore we speak of Jesus' threefold task. He is king , prophet and high priest . He is king over all the universe. He is the prophet who preaches the word of God and he is the high priest who carries herself to God as a vicarious sacrifice. Jesus Christ took all the sins of the world on himself on the cross and took the punishment on himself and died as a sinner and a criminal and was buried . Death , however, could not hold on to him for his death , he died to sin , but the life he lives to God. Therefore he stood up for our justification. Scripture says, " Him who knew no sin God made to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God " 2 Corinthians 5:21 .

Therefore, whoever takes refuge in Jesus and go to him with their sins and failures and believe in him , just God and a child of God . He is born of God , that he is born again by God's Spirit.

13 They are born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will , but born of God .

At the new birth are the penitent sinner saving faith and a new heart and a new setting . It is a miracle by God's grace that happens in the individual's heart when God first word will show the sinner's true standing before the holy God and opposition to God ceases , and the gospel will make his merciful deed. ( end of quote ) .

4 ) Sluttfrelsen remain for all . The day Jesus comes in the clouds, then it will prove who is truly a child of God or not.

1 Pet. 1 9 when Receiving the end of your faith, the salvation of souls .

Predestination or take our own decisions ?

We take our own decisions , but God as omniscient , he knows everything ! Clearer and better than what I can not say. That there are passages that speak of Calvin's doctrine, indeed many. It says , among other things that those who were exposed (the same as predestined ) to eternal life , they came , and were saved .

Acts 1:48 p.m. when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the Lord, and himself believed as many as were appointed to eternal life.

But then it says elsewhere that we must choose .

Acts 1:46 p.m. Then Paul and Barnabas answered them and said plainly : It was necessary that the word of God was spoken first to you, but since I encounter it from you ( ie they chose it away ) , and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, we turn now to the Gentiles .

It is a paradox that speaks in two directions . But for me , it is very important that I hold out to the end , because I and you will be saved ! This is perhaps the most important passage for those who want to take part in sluttfrelsen and get an eternity together with God ! It applies to persevere to the end.

Matt 24:13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

Mark 13:13 Ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake : but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
