What Jesus is talking about in Matthew about the innocent party does not marriage, but concluded that betrothal is broken!

This with the so-called innocent party is an abuse of God's word as this does not apply to the church, but Israel and betrothal being broken. With the so-called innocent party came during the Reformation with Rasmus. But who was behind this again? This of course was the enemy who sowed his seed, no wonder we see such deterioration that today. It is strange that there are so few who confront others with what God's word says about these things. But scripture says:

2 Pet. 3. 16 In this he speaks in all the letters which he enters these questions. There is something there that is hard to understand, and they are unlearned and weak distorts this, as they do also the other scriptures, and it leads to destruction for themselves.

Being called asserting that the innocent may enter into a new marriage is nothing other than this: "There is something there that is hard to understand, and they are unlearned and weak distorts this, as they do also the other scriptures, and it leads to destruction for themselves. "
Yes. It leads and directs people away from God, not to God opening up for remarriage among the believers.

Picture of me and my wife who are approaching 28 prs marriage.

What Jesus is talking about in Matthew about the innocent party does not marriage, but concluded that betrothal is broken!

Matt. 5. 31 It is said, 'Whoever divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.' 32 But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife for any reason other than adultery, he is guilty of the commission of adultery with her. And whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

19. 9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife for any reason other than fornication, and marries another woman commits adultery. "

10 The disciples said to him: "Is it so between man and woman, it is better not to marry." 11 But he said: "This is something not everyone can take to it, but only those to whom it is given. 12 For some are eunuchs because they have come so from the womb, others because people have made them eunuchs, but there are also some who have made themselves similar to a eunuch for the kingdom of heaven's sake. Let him who can, take this to heart. "

1 Cor. 7. 10 To the married I have this injunction, not from myself but from the Lord: A wife must not separate from her husband. 11 But if she still stands, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.

"In today's society it for many certainly seem contradictory to present a profound teaching about Jewish marriage practices, since the Bible after all be viewed as a" Christian "book. It is a powerful misconception because even though the Bible is often regarded as a Christian, is large parts of it written by Jewish authors.

It is therefore essential to understand the Jewish traditions in order to understand what the Bible talks about in different contexts. Lack of insight into Jewish traditions for generations meant that teaching about marriage unbreakable has been leached. Biblical writers is quite agree, while there appears that many Christians would prefer to see that it was not the case.

The most common explanation and they always recurrent biblical sites have revolved around Jesus' words in Matthew 5 and 19. It says that if a man were to divorce his wife for any reason other than adultery, and this man then was to marry another woman, he would commit adultery against his first wife.

With these verses that basis claim Christians that they can file for divorce if the wife or husband is cheating. For a person who reads the Bible for the first time, this post seem very appropriate.

About this scripture had said that his wife had committed adultery, or used the word infidelity that often translates to today, so it could perhaps have been a reason for the man to get a divorce. One must first have the attitude to God's word that it is the supreme authority in all matters having to do with our lives.

With this in mind it is wise to go a little deeper into the material. Sticking to only two scriptures and do not include the rest of God's word, it would be like building a house and only examine parts of the area where the house will stand.

On the surface it sounds very "holy" out believing that one can get a divorce if one's wife or husband has been unfaithful or has committed adultery, as it says in many Norwegian translations.

But this is only mentioned twice in the entire New Testament (Matt. 5:32 and Matt. 19: 9), and only in Matthew's Gospel. Moreover, it says not infidelity in these verses, for the Greek word used is porneia. The word for adultery is however moicheia.

I ask: If it was God's perfect will and a Christian duty to file for divorce, had it not been logical if this was clearly stated a number of places, distributed throughout the Bible?

Whether this was a permit that applied to everyone, not just Jews trolovelsesperioden - something I'll elaborate thoroughly later - God would not then have repeated "permit" considerably more times? I think so.

Here Paul says that they are his words and not the Lord.

Previously he has made it obvious to anyone who would doubt, that the Lord's will is that none should stand, either men or women.

But notice that Paul did not mention a single opportunity to

could remarry!

It describes the action itself to remarry as a sin. It does not say that the divorce has not taken place (for one must necessarily stand to remarry), but it says that whoever marries again, after a divorce, commits adultery against his first (and only) spouse.

The word used for this is the Greek moicheia, signifying adultery. The Bible also uses the expression "living in adultery" about living with someone other than their spouse.

Two choices.

For proper cementing what is God's will regarding marriage unbreakable, we must study 1 Corinthians, Chapter 7 then some.

Tucked away in verse 10 God gives a clear command on how a Christian will live if a divorce is a fact. Here it is important to point out that a divorce has occurred, it is important that there is at the initiative of the Christian majority. This is because the Christians are commanded to not stand. "

Final Comment:

I think Øyvind Olav Sydow Kleiveland get it out clearly that these verses of Matthew does not deal with marriage, but betrothal being broken. Are you the book? Buy it here: https://nb-no.facebook.com/DenStoreFallgruven
