It is more blessed to give than to take. It is more blessed to be part of something that God is, than something that is not God participates in, although it may seem big and flashy!
Picture of a
hand, you have an open hand? If not, then you can not expect to get anything
from others and Lord, that is only if you are a blessing that the Lord to
assume full can and is able to bless you.
Acts 20. 35
In all I showed you that, thus we should laboring take care of the weak and
remember the Lord Jesus' words in mind, as he himself said, It is more blessed
to give than to receive.
The basic
text reads: "It is more blessed to even give, than to receive something
for yourself!"
After we
restarted Smyrna Oslo in 2009, God has blessed us exceedingly much, unconditionally
if and how much others have supported us! I believe and know that God is with
this we do! But the blessing is to support the work of God, the Lord will you
take part in. This is life's thirst blessing, to take part in what God is in!
I believe
that God has selected the Heavenly blog as a mouthpiece of God no. 1 to Norway!
Not due me,
but he has done so by their free will! The selection of the Heavenly blog is
not about our qualities or quantity.
It is
justified by God's own heart. The Heavenly blog is also selected for your and
my sake, I mean, that here gets one experiences what the Spirit says to the
church!
Paul teaches
the Corinthians that to give, it has to be blessed and take part a service that
allows a self becomes blessed and helps to spread the kingdom of God!
1 Cor. 3. 9
For we are God's fellow workers; Ye are God's husbandry, God's building.
When we are
laborers together - all - then we also ought to be there for each other and
stand together. This is a blessing power that benefits everyone.
2 Cor. 8. 3
For according to the ability they gave, that I testify, yes beyond their own
accord; 4 begging us earnestly to be allowed to participate in to the saints; 5
and they did, not as we hoped, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and
to us by God,
Failure to
provide, is a sign of lack of faith and devotion. Giving, is a sign of faith
and devotion. Those who support a service, has believes in the service, which
does not support a service, usually have little or no faith in the service.
Therefore, it is to give a large or small amount, it shows a marked or not.
It's not the size that is most crucial, but that one gives, small or large
amounts.
1 Cor. 8. 12
For is readiness at hand, then it is acceptable according to what it has, and
not according to what it has not.
It's not the
size of the amount, but that is to provide and support!
1 Cor. 9. 6
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he
which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Each one, according as
he doth purpose in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a
cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye,
always in all things may be all that you need to, may abound to every good
work, 9 as it is written: He has scattered abroad, he gave to the poor; his
righteousness endures forever. 10 And he who gives sower seed and bread to eat,
he must give you seed and increase it and provide growth to the fruits of your
righteousness, 11 being enriched in everything to all liberality, which through
us thanksgiving to God. 12 For the administration of this service not only fine
of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings to God, 13 as they at
the heart in proof of this, they glorify God for your obedience to confessing
Christ and for the liberality of the fellowship to them and to all, 14 And by
their prayer for you, longing after you because of the grace of God which is
exceeding rich upon you. 15 Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift!
It's like a
lovely and delightful union, when the spiritual and material go hand in hand!
Final
Comment:
I do not
understand all this giving and counter-material blessings and why someone
gives. And others do not provide. And it is also hardly surprising, it is that
what is false, insincere and directly against God's word. Such services
"success" and looks apparently they are "blessed." There is
a lot to catch up, and many things and aspects of the Christian life and living
in this world that I wonder!
Something I
realize, something not. But for my own part, I can say the following, if people
love or hate me. About people supporting me or not, so has the Lord always
supported me and kept me up.
Psalm 37 25
I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken,
nor his seed begging bread. 26 All the day he takes pity and lends, and his
seed is blessed.
Notice the
wording, all day he has compassion, and he is blessed. Have an open hand to
others, then the second has a place to put things! Have you not even an opened
hand, where do other then add it as they will bless you with?
Why support so many people for example. Vision Norway? Because then "buyer" of himself, salvation, there is a preaching that itching ears and says that it is not dangerous with sin, only than believe in "Jesus." It fits perfectly for the old and fallen man. But support the preachers and churches who preach all the counsel of God unto salvation. And living in accordance with the Christian faith and doctrine. They should also expect to be rewarded for their generosity and generosity.
Matthew 10
42 And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water to drink
because he is a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his
reward.
