No. 874:
Why a woman can not become Pastor, Shepherd, elders or
have a learning responsibility of man. Plus, why she should be covered when she
prays and preaches!
I believe in blind obedience to God's word! But it is
possible also to ask to get a heavenly light and clarity of God's word. I've
gotten so many times, the easier to follow God's word. In this article I shall
teach the following:
"Why a woman can not become Pastor, Shepherd,
elders or have a learning responsibility of man. Plus, why she should be
covered when she prays and preaches. "
Image of women who are covered under the service. This
has great significance for the angels that are invisibly present during our
worship services.
We begin with this: "Why a woman can not become
Pastor, Shepherd, elders or have a learning responsibility of man."
Several texts in the pastoral letters (ie 1 Tim, 2 Tim
and Titus) presupposes clear that there are men who go into the role of
overseers. This is an important point in light of the Bible thus can signify a
woman who "collaborator," presupposes that women "prophesy"
in Assembly and call a woman of "servant of the church" (Rom 16,1).
The same is expressed in speech, Paul keeps the elders of Ephesus (Acts 20:
13.28). Here we also see that it is assumed that this role is handled by men
(8:30 p.m.). When it is assumed that only men who are suitable and have
confidence, called into the role of leader of the congregation, we believe it
is due to theological considerations, not cultural and time-dependent.
1. Tim.2: 8-15.
The whole chapter is about the life of the
congregation, about how Christians should pray and otherwise act. Men are told
to keep away from bickering (v8) and pray with holy hands, while women are
exhorted instead to adorn themselves with good deeds than with "gold or
pearls or costly clothing" (v9).
These verses (and quite similar verses in 1st Pet.3:
3-5) is not about women should adorn themselves, but rather how women should
adorn themselves, and exhorted moderation when it comes to clothing and
jewelry, ie against excessive luxury.
So Paul writes further that "a woman should take
the teachings received in silence 5, she should be subordinate" (v11). In
the following verses we find justifications for the principle of subordination,
that she should not be over a man (v12). The first reason is that "Adam
was formed first" (v13). The other is that Adam was not deceived, but the
woman was deceived was in the transgression (v14). It must mean that Adam was
outwitted by a direct attack from the hose, but he sinned knowingly and
deliberately. He deliberately chose to adopt the same space as Eva in the
spiritual death, otherwise they would have been separated, without the
possibility of any further generations. Of this genus - the woman's seed -
would come Savior, who would crush the serpent's head (cf. "the first
gospel" in 1.Mos.3: 15). Against this background, we understand verse 15,
that the woman will be saved through childbearing (determined form the basic
text), it will say that it was this way she (and of course also the man) have
received their Savior, but they must stay ahead in faith and love and holiness,
with modesty. We miss the point if we are discussing what is most severely;
being beguiled to sin, or sin deliberately. It is also unfounded to argue that
this historical justification says something about women and men
characteristics, then or since. On the basis of the prior written about men and
women's equality to preach, we believe the section should be interpreted as a
rejection of women to hold the special l ærefunksjon in the Christian
congregation. If a woman goes into such a role, she will be man's master, and
it is contrary to the order of creation. Other limitations when it comes to
women's leadership, add text does not. It is not given to us to understand or
explain why we are all born with sinful nature just because the first human
sin, but it is given us to accept that it is so because the word of God says
so. Likewise, we can not understand or explain that God has laid a charge of a
special learning feature on some men in the audience, but it's given us to
accept or reject the justification given in these verses.
It is also useful to note that the Greek original text
shows us that Paul did not speak about that women are "master of her
husband," but generally to be "master of man." This makes it
difficult to argue that only married women who are accused in these verses.
1. Kor.14: 33-35.
Also this text is about the life of the congregation.
The first part of chapter 14 takes largely up the use of gifts, with emphasis
on tongues and prophetic speech.
Then Paul speaks about the role of women in the
church: "As in all the churches of the saints women should keep silence in
the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be subordinate,
as the law also says. But there is something they want track of, let them ask
their own husbands at home, for it is shameful for a woman to speak in church
collection »
(1 Cor. 14.33 to 35).
We have difficulty in understanding this as
situational conditions, or a specific cultural context in Corinth, because Paul
refers to the situation in "all churches of the saints" and to
"the Lord's commandments" (V37). The fact that the text also refers
to women's subordination, indicates that the call is about the fundamental
relationship between men and women. We also see that Paul uses the phrase
"they are not permitted."
It was a well-known legal formula that refers to
something passed or statutory. We do not believe the apostle would write in
this way if it was just a problem with the turmoil in the meetings he wished to
destroy.
Some argue that the words that no "behooves"
that women speak, gives a signal that Paul relate to what were perceived as
provocative in such a culture, but there are 5 Based how the word silence
(Greek hesuchia) is to understand other places that 2.Tess.2: 12, 1.Pet.3: 4,
Luke 11:56 p.m. and 1.Tim.2: 11 (the last two places are "calm" used),
we believe that "peaceful without disturbing "is a better
understanding than that she will not say anything. unreasonable to assert that
Paul thus signaling that his guidance is pragmatic and culture specific. In
many texts where he speaks about what befits, the focus is not just
"cultural decency," but rather what (at all times) behooves a
Christian who relate to God's commandments and God's standard (see Rom. 1, 28;
13,13; 16,2; Eph. 5.3).
We will argue that it is likely that the text deals
with the same as 1 Tim. 2: 11-14, that the kind of learning preaching church
leader (or leaders) have a special responsibility, and that is part of it to
have that top management responsibility for the life of the congregation.
Beyond this there is no basis for making a difference in men and women
preaching and other public services.
(From Men
and women service - Indremisjonsforbundet).
1 Tim. 2. 8 In every place I want men to pray with
upraised and clean hands without anger and contention. 9 Likewise, I want women
to have a nice behavior. They should adorn themselves with way and sense, not
with any kind of braid, gold or pearls or expensive clothes, 10 but with good
deeds, as befits women who profess to worship God. 11 A woman shall receive
training in silence and subordinate themselves in everything. 12 I do not
permit a woman to teach or decide upon the man, she should be quiet. 13 For
Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And it was not Adam who was lured, but the
woman was deceived and became a transgressor. 15 But she shall be saved through
child birth - only they show sense and live in faith, love and holiness.
Scripture clearly teaches that women should not be
over man. Or be elders, Shepherd (priest or pastor) or bishop (Bishop or Main
Board / Pastor).
The reason is very simple and clear. The woman is set
to give birth and foster children. The man should of course be with. But the main
responsibility lies with the woman, this also testifies about nature as man can
not bear children. And that when she is "exempt" from and for this,
for being a woman fully!
During 1000 årsriket and the world will not be so,
because the woman is "solved" from task to bear children. If she
stays close to the Lord and follow God's words here, so she promise to bear
children in a good way.
Scripture says: "She shall be saved through child
birth - only they show sense and live in faith, love and holiness."
What is saved here? I just think it means that she
will have a natural birth and give birth to a shapely or shapely children.
Unless she's faith receive Christ and God's word. It is a promise given, like
so many other promises!
I will not discuss if it does not happen if someone
has sinned etc. Just that if we align with God's word, and it shall prosper and
we will manage the challenges in life.
When we hear that the Greek religion were women
considered religious dignitary than men, especially those who were virgins, so
these words of Paul a corrective. It is not the man who makes the woman
unclean. She also has its responsibility in the Fall. Giving birth disqualifies
not the woman for salvation, - she will be saved through child birth, if she
otherwise live like all other Christians should live.
Furthermore, it states that she will be saved. This
again shows that women and men are equal when they apply salvation, but not
when it comes to service. Here we are and remain different. But in the world,
where we will be fully equal in everything. Why? Quite simply, when it will not
be born more children and the woman is "solved" from the important
task. This again shows how big and important God looks at this with children.
Salem 127. 3 Children are a gift from the Lord, the
fruit is his reward.
Here I take to finish something I've written about
before covered:
Covered!
1. Kor.11. 2 You shall have praise you for remembering
me in everything and hold on to the traditions I passed on to you. 3 I want you
to know that Christ is every man's head, the husband is the head, and the head
of Christ is God. 4 Any man who prays or prophesies with his head covered
dishonors his head. 5 But any woman who prays or prophesies with her head
uncovered dishonors her head. It's just the same as having her head shaved. 6
If a woman does not want anything on the head, then she should cut off her hair
But when it is disgraceful for a woman to cut or shave off his hair, she should
wear a veil. 7 Man shall not cover his head, since he is the image and glory.
But the woman is the glory of man. 8 For man was not made from woman, but woman
from man. 9 Neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. 10 Therefore
the woman of the angels wear a head, as a regulatory sign. 11 But in the Lord
woman is not independent of man, and man is not independent of the woman. 12
For as woman came from man, so man born of woman, but everything is from God.
13 Judge for yourself! Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head?
14 Teacher not nature itself you that it is a shame for a man to have long
hair, 15 while the woman is an honor? For hair is given her as a covering. 16
If anyone wants to create controversy about this, remember that such practices
have not we, nor the churches of God.
Paul teaches about covering or protection.
The most widespread explanation here is that Paul
talks to tempelskjøger. But the amazing thing is that he did not mention them
with a single word.
Secondly, this is timed. It is not mentioned with a
word or a phrase either. On the contrary, he says in v.2. You shall have praise
you for remembering me in everything and hold on to the traditions I passed on
to you. This preached and taught Paul everywhere he came when it is God's
commandment, even today.
It's amazing how Satan and flesh manipulate and
deceive people.
Why should the woman veiled from when she prays or
prophesies? Because Pastor, man or God?
Scripture provides answers. V. 10 Therefore the woman
of the angels wear a head, as a regulatory sign. Or as it also stands in some
translations; undergiven safety signs. or; strafe authority over their head or
gives her his own authority. The best translation; something that all angels
notice and rejoice. Better a Living translation can not be said.
It is a sign that she is no. 2, not No.. 1 that man
is.
This goes back to the creation, that she created as
no. 2. Angels are created all that paragraph 1. Hence, one should respect
before the angels when the woman participates in meetings with prayer,
preaching and otherwise, are covered.
If there are some women who do not see this or do not
want to follow God's word. These one should not fight with the congregation
says Paul. They miss anything.
We are in a spiritual battle that we shall overcome in
Paul says Efes.6. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but
against principalities and spiritual powers, against the rulers of this
darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly. Then we
must follow God's word also here to win a full and complete victory.
As the late Prophet Joel Barsjø said it; I had been
woman, I'd had three hats.
Why is decked required? Of Angels "missing"
understanding that we humans are twofold; man and woman. As a sign of this for
angels so man should not be protection covering but the woman. Then during our
meeting sessions and especially when she attends.
Harder is not. It applies only to read as it stands
and act as James says in his letter several times.
James 2:22. You see that faith wrought with his works,
and faith was perfected by works. 26. For as the body is dead without the
spirit, so faith without works is dead. We need only note that the vast, vast
majority of Christians in Norway have a dead faith, or should one rather say
one is misled in their faith.
Norway has been a spiritual pygmies countries.
Therefore it is important not to look at the believers in Norway. They are
misled in the whole, but a thing. For the word of God and Scripture alone!
