Nr. 339:
A prophetic environment!
Acts 13. 1. In Antioch, the church there, there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Mana, foster brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. 2 While they held worship and fasting, the Holy Ghost said: Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work which I have called them! 3 Then they let them go out after they had fasted and prayed and laid hands on them. 4 When they therefore were now sent by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia and sailed from there to Kypern.
A prophet is a voice of one crying, and shouting "behind" the prophet, God is the Lord Himself
A prophetic environment is like a spiritual workshop or greenhouse
We need heat, light, water and good soil to produce plants. To get a table or chair until it must also things such as materials, engineering equipment and a worker. This is also in the spiritual plane. It must thing. This is good and beautiful heart for God's word and God's spirit. Then other believers as a community to share with. Should it be spiritual growth and maturity, we are all dependent on the proper growth and development opportunities for our spiritual lives.
In the church at Antioch, it was the right growing conditions for developing healthy, right and good
Prophets and Apostles service was common among the early Christians, the Old Testament must also be intact in the day when God set (this is a verb in Hebrew, where it should have been that he sets all the time) in the church apostles, prophets, etc.
The Apostle Andrew was also a prophet. We know this when he first was the prophet John (the Baptist) prophet-disciple. (Joh.1.37, 41).
In those days there were some prophets down to Antioch from Jerusalem.
(Ap.11.27.).
Agabus is mentioned as one of several prophets from Jerusalem. (Ap.11.27-28 21.10 to 11.).
Judas and Silas were also prophets from Jerusalem. (Ap.15.32, 22.4.).
Thus, it was more prophets in the New Testament church in Jerusalem. Andreas was also in Jerusalem as a prophet and apostle.
In Antioch, the church there, there were prophets and teachers:
(Ap.13.1b.).
In the rest of the verse, it rattled off a group of prophets: Barnabas, Simeon, Lucius, managers and Paul. Some of these were also teachers. The Bible often rattles the major services first. The Prophet emphasized in front of the teacher. (1 Kor.12.28.). This shows that Barnabas was the prophet.
Paul had great revelations at an early stage. This was probably also his prophet.
Those who are rattled off before Paul was probably not less services. For then they would probably have been rattled off by Paul.
Short and simple: There were at least five prophets in the church at that time.
The Apostle John wrote the most prophetic book in the New Testament. (Revelation.). No doubt both that he was a prophet?
One of them (Cretans), a prophet of their own people ....
(Tit.1.12.).
In Crete, there were prophets.
(So are you ...., v.19.) Built on the apostles and prophets foundation ....
(Ef.2.20.).
Efesermenigheten was served by several prophets.
NT shows at least twenty prophets in the primitive community!
Above-written biblical evidence shows the following:
1. There were at least 20 prophets in the New Testament church.
2. There were several in each church. (As mentioned but it was of course far more people also are not mentioned, we are mostly just a glimpse of the Gentile-Christian church does not among the faithful prophet of Jews there service really sure was even richer and bigger?).
This must have consequences for lederteologier in every church if you have respect for the Bible as a model for church life. Most have rejected the Bible as a model in this area, although they will not admit it to himself. They are only willing to take some of the biblical model.
This large amount of prophets has its offset in the Old Testament:
There were many prophets with many of the prophets Elijah and Elisha's time. (2 Kong.2.3, 5, 6.1; 9.1.).
This was also the time of Samuel. (1 Sam.10.5; 19.20.).
David consulted with the two prophets Nathan and Gad. (2 Sam.7.2; 24.11.). In addition, David the prophet himself. (Ap.2.29-30.).
Thus, we must realize that the amount of the prophets in the New Testament has its model in the Old Testament. The prophets are the same, also in quantity.
God does nothing until he has communicated it to one or more of his servants the prophets on this earth, that is how God "works"!
1 Genesis 18 1. And the Lord appeared to him in Mamre oak-grove, while he sat in the tent door in the middle of the hottest days.
17 Then the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham what I do;
Acts 7. 2 He said, Brethren and fathers! Listen to me, God of glory appeared to our father Abraham while he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Haran,
Amos 3 7 For the Lord GOD will do nothing except he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
We see a vital and important characteristic of Abraham, that God appeared to him again and again. But why? There are several reasons for it. One is the selection, it did not have anything even with Abraham. That he was taken out for a special service.
1 Genesis 12 1. And the Lord said to Abram, Go from your country, your people and your father's house unto the land which I will show you! (Here, God took the incentive)
6b-9. When they came to Canaan, Abram went through the land until the holy place of Shechem, the More-oak. Canaanites were living at that time in the country. Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, "To your descendants I will give this land." And there Abram built an altar to the Lord who had appeared to him. From there he moved up the mountain east of Bethel and pitched his tent between Bethel on the west and Ai on the east. There he built an altar to the Lord and called upon the name of the Lord. Since Abram went on, from place to place, to the Negev. (Here let Abraham all the way for God to speak and communicate to him).
The second and equally important was that he put everything into place in his life for God by stadigvek build an altar to him. Everywhere where Abraham lived, so he set up an altar to God. There were two clear, simple and essential features of Abraham that made him who he was. Ancestor of all believers and the faithful model. Do this in your life? Adds all the way to God so that he can talk and communicate to you? Travel an altar in your life and expect, believe and pray that God will and will reveal himself to you, and he wants and is guaranteed to do so. We will take us 20 different pages how prophetic environment both in your and my life may have come up, mature and develop. And be of great help and blessing to the faithful and the whole world!
1) The first and most important aspect of the prophetic ministry is that one believes that it is today. Unfortunately I think the vast majority of denominations and churches that the service offerings that we find mentioned in Eph. 4. 11 is a thing of a bygone time. And they believe in them, then an apostle and prophet of service omitted. Something that is not the word of God teaches. All the five different service offerings are for today. I think this is going to go into a prophet of service and possess a prophetic gift.
Acts 2. 39 For the promise belongs to you and your children and all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God shall call.
2) Anyone who wants a prophet of service and possess it must be extremely careful with their lives according to sin, God can not tolerate sin.
1 Tim. 4. 16 Give heed to thyself and to doctrine, keep at it! for when it does, then you will save both thyself and them that hear thee.
James says in his letter chapter 3:1: "My brothers! Not many of you become teachers! For we know that we will have the stricter judgment. " The responsibility is very great to be a prophet or a prophet to hold service in their vocation and ministry. It's a big difference to be a regular church member and as a prophet. But it is not to act that one is more loved by God, but it has to be true over the responsibility God has given. I believe that God will forgive any sin. But there are other things that need to be considered, as a prophet possesses any special responsibility. Would someone in a secular context, allowed a pedophile to work with children? No. Equally clear is the Scripture that we should not allow a re-married preacher to preach to other people with a Pastoral and learning responsibility. That one is Evangelist such as Many Frank was after he got divorced, we can allow. But do not be appointed as Pastor, Shepherd, prophet, or elders. One should not be the leader of the flock and the herd, but be even under a system of inspection.
But when one holds an office as a prophet, it requires a lot. That's why James says that not many should be teachers (read the prophets). Why can not a prophet taking liberties only at his own expense, he has a special responsibility upon God and their fellow men. When it comes to marriage, it is not permissible for a minister to marry again under any circumstances, when he was ineligible for the office he has received. It's like an athlete cut off his legs, he is no longer fit to be a sportsman, if he wants. A preacher should be a woman's man, we see Paul teaches about time and time again. (1 Tim. 3.2 and Titus 1:6). Should anything be unclear here, so I recommend submitting a question to our blog or write something yourself there. This should and should have been a common Christian understanding there was gjengiftetde and could go far and round. There are spirits, demonic thereof that follows in the footsteps of loose sexual and moral life. 1. Tim. 4. 1. The Spirit speaketh expressly says that in latter times some shall depart from the faith. They should stick to seducing spirits, and doctrines stemming from evil powers. 2 They are deceived by lying hypocrites that are seared in his conscience. 3 These people refuse to marry and requires that one should stay away from certain types of food, even God has created this so that those who believe and know the truth, shall receive it with thanks. 4 For everything God created is good, and nothing is reprehensible when it is received with thanksgiving. 5 It is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. There is no question of A and B Christians. Marriage is a God-given scheme, which also shows the relationship between Christ and the church. Therefore it is in the nature here, that there are such large demands. God stands behind his word, so this is an example of something even bigger and richer. Our relationship with Jesus and his relationship with us. So be careful with both the one you marry and you are not soiled your life here. If you live in accordance with God's word here, is the best predicted not that you grow as a believer.
3) Anyone who wants a prophet of service and possess it must be extremely careful teaching. It is said in scripture to give heed to themselves and to the doctrine.
1 Tim. 4. 16 Give heed to thyself and to doctrine, keep at it! for when it does, then you will save both thyself and them that hear thee.
The big difference between the Pentecostal movement at the beginning and today, it's that they do not heed themselves and doctrine. It made than before and lived pure and holy. Today, an act on anything but God's word and doctrine, so it is no longer the Pentecostal revival, but the charismatic prevailing. We will not ignore that a clear and plain teaching is a crucial, especially for someone who wants and has one of the five service offerings mentioned in Ephesians 4 11 And it is he who gave us some apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers.
4) Anyone who wants a prophet of service must seek God for it is the Lord, for one. A desire is pleasing to the Lord, but we should also ask the Lord for advice.
1 Tim. 3. 1. It is a trustworthy saying: If anyone desires a supervisory office, when he wanted a good deed.
To wish and want something for God, it is pleasing to the Lord. But always ask the Lord, and like humans, what would you Lord. It may be that the Lord has a better and different plans for you, someone you think. Lord God always knows best weather you sure?
5) Anyone who wants a service, whatever it is you must request a specific character and leadership. Jonathan had a prophetic sign that the green light from God (1.Sam.14.9-10), he attacked and killed all 20 soldiers. Here we see that Jonathan had ready contact with God, and that he had divine power. It is not normal for a 16-year-old alone 20 adults fighting soldiers in close combat! The effect of this victory was enormous. First, the earth began to tremble (.15), and so it was spread a fear among the Philistines that was so fierce that they began to kill each other (.20)
6) Anyone who wants and goes into a prophet of service must expect opposition, contempt and misunderstanding. Prophet of service has never been the gift of service that has become most widely known and liked among the majority of people if there are believers or not believers.
Acts 2:22 p.m. as they strengthened the souls of the disciples and exhorted them to continue in the faith, saying: We must enter the kingdom of God through many tribulations.
Philippians 1:29 For unto you it was graciously given, for Christ's sake - not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for his sake,
2 Timothy 3:12 And all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
1 Peter 5:9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, for I know that the same afflictions are added to your brethren in the world.
Clear evidence that trials, difficulties and even disorders is the "normal" for a believer. Even though we are innocent, we as believers, "expect" to be inked and stamped. We can not help but affirm that illness is a reality that still exist 2000 years after Jesus disarmed the powers and authorities and put them openly to the sight as he appeared, triumphing over them in it. God has all power in Heaven and on Earth, and could without any further effort to remove all suffering if it was not a feature of his eternal plan.
Many would like to clear God by claiming that he has no problems with our doing, but frankly I find not much consolation in that thought. We really worship a God who does not know about our suffering? Or one that is a helpless spectator of the Devil's devastation with their children? No, let us be clear at once that God not only knows about but are closely involved in our suffering. Let us go to the Bible to see what we can learn about God's purpose for suffering:
Beloved wonder you are not over the fire that comes over you at trial, as if it happened to you, nothing strange, but in the same mon as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings, you shall delight you, that even in his glorious revelation you may rejoice with exultation .
1 Peter 4:12-13
Verse 12 says we should not wonder when we fall into trials, as if there was something strange. When you experience an ordeal, this is not something out of what God has prescribed as normal. It is an integral part in God's plan for the Christian, that our joy will be complete.
In verse 13 I want you to notice the words "in the same measure." These words are key to understanding the meaning of this section. We will rejoice "in the same measure" as we share in Christ's sufferings. If we have little share in his sufferings, we therefore look forward slightly. If we have a large share in his sufferings, we rejoice correspondingly large. This is because we will rejoice with exultation in his glorious revelation. Does not this, in other words, when we learn to know Jesus in the fellowship of His sufferings, so does this affect our pleasure in his glorious manifestation of the same positive direction? Yes, it is also the way we deal with difficulties, trials and sufferings that shows where we stand as believers and who we really are. Quoting again from Proverbs book one of my "favorite" verses in the Bible.
Proverbs 24:10 Do you show yourself discouraged in the day, then your power ring.
Faith Movement teachings claim that we as believers should have no trouble or anything negative when God is only "good"!
This sounds in many ways right. But we have to contend with the flesh of all men have and what is the largest and most difficult truth is that this world, God is not God the Father, but Satan. And the prophet who has a service is in many ways forefront against Satan, the world, the religious and all that dark and includes.
7) Dreams, visions, angels obvious donkeys etc. and the supernatural will be the target to have a prophet of service and be the prophetic spirit.
The outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon all believers, which the prophet and the one who has the prophetic spirit. When can and must expect that the supernatural with dreams, visions, angels and other obvious donkeys belong to the "normal". Read Acts in mind that anything that does not have a natural explanation of human things, and you will see that the Acts are characterized by the supernatural. The supernatural - that has no human explanation - belong to the prophetic ministry and the prophetic spirit.
8) Develop a prophetic environment is to redeem the gifts he has.
Forje time we drove Smyrna Oslo in the 90's there was a sister in the church with a little physical handicap redeemed gifts for several of the church when she prayed and praised the Lord. Being with others who live for the Lord, it is to redeem things and gifts of the individual. Brother Aage Samuelsen often said to this or that, "Praise the Lord" and he often went through the Spirit's baptism, and other wonderful spiritual experiences. The prophetic anointing redeems gifts and things of the individual, all glory to the Lord.
9) Develop a prophetic environment is to magnify the gifts he has.
This applies not just to get gifts, but to take care of them and refine them. Getting a new house or new car, then do an all you can to take care of it or so it goes down quickly over. So it is to get something from God, and to get gifts. This applies to process and take care of them. We have an enemy that will constantly saw their weeds in our lives that seem devastating. But close out the weeds, taking care of what God has given you and use it regularly. The church's edification and blessing.
1 Cor. 14. 1. Chasing after the love! Strive after the spiritual gifts, but most eager to prophesy! 2 For he who speaks with a tongue speaks not to men but to God, for no one understands it, but he speaks mysteries in the Spirit; 3 on the other hand, who prophesies speaks to men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. 4 He who speaks with the tongue edified himself, but he who prophesies edified the congregation. 5 Yet I would that ye all spake with tongues but rather that ye prophesied: he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks in tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may receive edification of it. 26 How is it therefore, brethren? When you come together, so each of you has a psalm or a doctrine or a revelation or a tongue or an interpretation: let all things be done for edification! 30 and get another a revelation while he sits there, let the first be silent. 31 For ye may all prophesy one at a time, so everyone can learn and all be warned; 32 and spirits of prophets are prophets obeyed; 33 for God is not God of disorder but of peace God. 39 Therefore, brethren, endeavor to prophesy, and forbid any man to speak with tongues: 40 But let all things be done decently and in order!
10) Develop a prophetic environment is to "fit in" when the individual has a gift and use it so that he will be tested and tried.
It is not spiritually healthy, we have seen in the prophecies and the prophetic gift has worked here in Norway and elsewhere around the world in the last 50 years of Pentecostal revival and the charismatic movement. The top 1% of all that has been prophesied happened, and 99% have not happened. In other words, God has hardly worked. Scripture speaks again and again, not prevent the prophetic voice, but let the one who has a message be allowed to come forward with it, test it and try it, this is what scripture teaches in both the Old and New Testament. Single? Yes, but to teach writing us. Try everything, hold onto the good and the one that brings forth a profetis speech or a prophecy, let him or her accountable for it. And turn it to, so take it back and have a debate and discussion around it, not sweep it under the carpet. Everything should be up and into the light.
1 Cor. 14. 29 But the prophets speak two or three, and the others try it! 30 and get another a revelation while he sits there, let the first be silent. 31 For ye may all prophesy one at a time, so everyone can learn and all be warned; 32 and prophets spirits are prophets obeyed; 33 for God is not disorder God but the God of peace 39 Therefore, brethren, endeavor to prophesy, and prevent any man to speak with tongues: 40 But let all things be done decently and in order!
1 Thes. 5. 20 do not despise prophetic speech, 21 but test everything, hold onto the good.
11) A church that looks at the prophetic gift and the prophets service as part of the church's diversity has an apostolic view of the church as the church in Antioch.
Pentecostal chief Sverre Kornmo loved to preach and expound on the church at Antioch there was diversity in service offerings. And this was not just words of Brother Kornmo. When the elite rejected the Lutheran Israel, there were some lekforkynnere with a gift of prophecy, which said that Israel would get their country back. When Kornmo heard this on the radio in the 14 May 1948 that Israel declared itself a separate state. When he and his wife fell down in worship and thanksgiving to the Lord. This teaches us here and keep up not only od, but a reality!
12) In a church it is usually too many discipline masters but always too few spiritual fathers and mothers, so it was also in the apostle's time. It proves again and again in the church of God that the vast majority are people who have Christianity in mind and in heart. This was also, unfortunately, among the first Christians. Therefore, to seek human recognition for a doing, not least those who have the gift of prophecy and prophetic ministry must expect a lot of strange, ugly and human speech and treatment of other believers, and others. But do not despair, this is "normal." There are few fathers in the church of God which is with you when you hold the unpopular and necessary truths, both from God's word and that is our lives and churches.
1 Corinthians 4: 15 For if I and have ten thousand teachers in Christ, so have I but not many fathers: for I have begotten you in Christ Jesus through the gospel.
13) The church that nurtures the spiritual gift needs to have a spiritual temperature of the whole, be a "spiritual greenhouse". Just as plants and other things need light, sun, heat and crop land to develop. How do we as a people an environment in and around us to prosper, thrive and develop. We have visited the church in Antioch. There were also other churches were thriving church among the early Christians that the church in Smyrna, Jerusalem, Ephesus, and others.
14) Joel Barsjø, a prophet who was among other things, Hans Nielsen Hauge. The first time we ran Smyrna Oslo at the beginning of the 1990s was the one who went to church with us. An older brother who died, Joel Barsjø. For a church that makes a man as he is of inestimable importance. Everything that I said, did and thought. It "gave" him, and he exhorted, rebuked and encouraged me as if it were the Lord himself. Having in their midst a prophet is indeed a great blessing and must!
15) Song in the spirit redeems things and put people in freedom! This either sing in spirit and more afterwards. Or singing directly prophecy is also a "forgotten" aspect of the prophetic. The Prophet had to have one song for himself before he could prophesy. The environment is also prophetic song, and sang in the spirit that is suggested which is found in both the Old and New Testament referred to as part of the prophet of the service. I will encourage and exhort to use even today. Singing in the spirit with the interpretation afterwards is when practice driven by the Spirit, wonderful, wonderful and heavenly.
1. Kor. 14. 3 on the other hand, who prophesies speaks to men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. 12 So also with you, When striving after the spiritual gifts, seek to have them in full measure to the church's edification. 13 Therefore, he who speaks with the tongue, he requested that he should be able to decipher it! 14 For if I pray with the tongue, then pray my spirit, but my understanding is unfruitful. 15 How is it then? I will pray with the spirit, but I will also pray with my mind, I will sing with the spirit, but I will also sing with my mind.
The prophet of the school in Rama prophets experienced a tremendous force when the singing and playing coming down from the mound. Saul was knocked to the ground of this power was of the prophets so he came prophesied. We find in the Old Testament that it was disciple of schools for prophets. in Gillgal, Rama, Jericho, Bethel, Jerusalem and many other places in Israel where the prophets were trained and trained by a famous prophet (see 2 Kings. 2). A portion of the training may also have included singing, playing instruments and dancing as it is prominent in the story in the 1st Sam. 10:5. The prophetic rapture was here recently accompanied by singing, music and dance, which is also emphasized in other parts of the Old Testament: 2 Puree. 3:20 p.m. (Miriam), 2 Kg. 3:15 (Elisa) and 2 Puree. 3:20 p.m. (dance). There is reason to believe that prophets appeared in connection with religious festivals and gatherings (1 Chron. 25:1 ff.) The songs they sang were probably both old songs and hymns from the history of Israel, and later Spirit inspired song and music (eg items. Balaam song in 4 Mos. 24:2 ff and David's last words in 2 Sam. 23:1 ff.) There is reason to believe that the continued prophetic inspiration of the prophets that were sparked the creative - and it resulted new compositions and songs that were played, sung and danced to. In DNT, we find that Zacharias performed his prophetic jubilant hymn in Luke 1:67 ff., And worship of Mary in Luke 1: 46 ff. These were new songs that were performed under the prophetic inspiration and practice.
The song and music prophetic dimension is found in Eph. 5:18 ff. "... But be filled with the Spirit as you speak (prophesy - see definition above) to one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and playing for the Lord in your hearts."
In particular, one event from the Bible where it is shown that the film developing the prophecy came through music. In 2 Kings 3 14-15 we read: "... But now get a harp player to me! So when the harp player started playing, the Lord came upon him. " Josephus says: "... and when they, on his [Elisha] command brought a man who could play the harp, came the Holy [divine] Spirit upon him when music was played." At Elisha music was the direct trigger for the Spirit of God came upon him and he could prophesy. Elisha was well aware that the music could trigger the prophetic spirit, and because he so resolutely asked for a harp player then this suggests that Elisha constantly used music to get into God's presence, under His anointing and in the prophetic spirit. Prophet of Service and the music is thus linked together in a special way.
16) Fixed redeemer and bring people in freedom!
Matt. 17. 21. But this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
Matthew 5:21 p.m. New American Standard Bible (© 1995)
"But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting."
We read in the English that there is talk of this kind or this kind in Norwegian. There are areas in the Kingdom of God where one has to have prayer and fasting in order to take possession of the area in the spiritual world. I have fasted for 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 10 days, 21 days and 40 days. There are areas in the spiritual world where one has to have prayer and fasting in order to win victory and for a spiritual breakthrough.
This is from my commentaries Ephesians 6 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power!
So what Paul skips from the human and natural part of the spiritual. But all these things together. God's Word encourages us to be strong and be overcome. It is by being obedient to God's original his words and put his mighty power. Even in the Old Testament was the powerful promises of being obedient that we find such the 5th Numbers 28, how much more in the new covenant!
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may stand against the devil's insidious attacks.
Here we put on God's armor. What it is and includes coming in the next verses. We should not just put on some parts of the armor, but the whole armor. But there are so many believers who never comes out or goes into the intellectual battle that this is something they can not completely relate to. It is only when one has been in games that realize how important and vital this is. Have you been in battle and suffer defeat, as will a do everything you can to not suffer defeat in the next fight!
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of this darkness, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
The real opponents are demons who are led by the Devil. There are evil spirits of different orders of magnitude and positions. The demonic world rulers who operate in this darkness that the world is in. It is a struggle against "spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." That is, they belong to the spirit world, and hence they are eerily dangerous and insidious. Satan appears in many different ways, both as an angel of light (2 Cor 11.14) and as a roaring lion (1 Pet 5.8). He is most dangerous when he appears as an angel of light, disguised as a messenger of the gospel.
God's word says about the last days: "But the Spirit speaketh expressly says that in latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. It happens at the hypocrisy of false teachers, who are burning brand in his own conscience "1 Tim 4.1 to 2. P. The doctrine therefore has its origins in evil spirits and heresies are affected by, or under the influence of evil spirits. Therefore we can say that there is a fight against people, in itself, but the devil and evil spirits using or abusing people in their struggle against God and Christians.
God's word does not deny that we have a sinister opponent with the terrible evil spirits will do everything possible to deceive God's children. But we know that Jesus disarmed the evil spirits when he won at Calvary (Colossians 2:15). Although the devil and his åndehær is defeated, then the verdict is not executed yet. Therefore, they are still a time to seduce and tempt us humans, but the judgment of them have already been handed down.
But there are also different spiritual powers we face. We can divide them.
1) The powers and authorities.
2) The world rulers of this darkness.
3) spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Here we meet three different areas of the enemy armies that will fight and disturb us. Two of the secret to victory is to know ourselves and our own impact. And know the enemy and his impact.
1) Here we meet the people "Face to Face." Why will not the media and everything else to write and relate factual and objective to us believers and objectively? Satan is behind.
2) There is a Spirit that the Bible describes Satan as the Spirit of Antichrist's Spirit, the Spirit is at work in the sons of disobedience that works and reigns in this world. The opposite of God's Spirit, we can say.
3) Here are the demons and fallen angels. Demons are like "little" men of the 1 \ 2 m if one were to see them visible to the eye. The fallen angels are the demons again and may even multiply, we read in 1st Genesis 6 The assumption has been involved in cases to rule this world before in conjunction with Lucifer. We read several places in scripture that demons infiltrate and occupied people. While the fallen angels went so far as to have intercourse with women and had children with them, they had the opportunity to propagate. But they are spiritual beings who can be both visible and invisible to the soft spot!
1. Genesis 6 4 At the time, and since too, there were giants on the earth. For god's sons lived with the daughters of men and had children with them. Those were the mighty men of old, the renowned.
Man gives birth to girls fighting, they are the sons Gude, other genetic conditions that are stronger and different than the people after the fall.
King David cut off those who survived the flood, and today they are intellectual people, and not flesh and blood,
2. Book of Samuel 21 18 Since there was a new battle with the Philistines, at Gob. Where the field Hushathite of Shoo-seed a man named Saf, and was a descendant of Rapha. 19 Again it came to battle with the Philistines at Gob. Elhanan the son of Ja'are-Orgim of Bethlehem, killed Goliath of Gath, when, who had a spear shafts as thick as a vevbom. 20 Since it came to battle at Gath. There was a huge man who had six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot, twenty-four fingers and toes in all. He also heard of Rafa's husband. 21 The man taunted Israel. But Jonathan, the son of David's brother Shimeah, killed him. 22 These four belonged to Rafa family in Gath. David and his men killed them.
23. 21 He brought down a huge Egyptian. The Egyptian had a spear in his hand, but Benaiah went against him with a stick, snatched the spear from the Egyptian's hand and killed him with his own spear.
It is only at the end of the great tribulation that these spiritual dimensions will reveal his true self to all people. Until then we are their biggest rivals and they are our hardest and biggest opponents. But Jeus have defeated them in it once and for all. It's good and reassuring to know.
Will also remember that Satan is very concerned about this so he put out lies that are not true about this. See here: ZetaTalk had David's great-grandmother was raped or abused as sex slaves by an Anunnaki-soldier, and had then given birth to a hybrid (David's grandmother). It was thus Anunnaki-blood in the veins of David, and as a child he had by his mother learned to hate the giants. This is just a giant hoax!
This is from my commentaries Colossians Dispenser letter 2 15 He disarmed the principalities and powers, and set them up to scorn and derision when he triumphed over them in it.
Satan and demons has had on our lives. We were in darkness and thrived in the dark and was Satan's property. But they were disarmed and put forward as liars, prosecutors and without real power. Satan and the demon had torn long and hard enough. But not anymore, now they were defeated. The victory is perfect. God the Father is satisfied through Jesus' work at Calvary. We have our sins forgiven and God can take us to the grace and adopt us into his family as his own children. And Satan and the demon has no real power anymore, they are living on borrowed time! Jesus resetting of the law for us believers. It does not long for us, just grace in Christ Jesus.
13 Take therefore the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and remain standing after having done all.
Therefore, the Apostle urges believers to take the whole armor of God so that they can withstand in the evil day (v. 13). The days are different. Some days we look back with joy, others we would forget. The days to come, we know nothing about, but experience shows that some will be good and some bad. We should note that the devil is the strategist and is often a day when we feel everything is hard and heavy, when he comes by his cunning and temptation to try to cause us to sin.
Particularly worse for the people of God are sometimes persecution. In our time, many in the world who are persecuted for their Christian faith, and the world is experiencing more martyrs than any time in history. Pursuing Reading Time will culminate with the Antichrist come to the great tribulation. Therefore it is important that we take on God's armor so that we can stand.
17) Walking and living in faith.
Apostle of Faith Smith Wiggelsworth was called, why? He lived what he preached. This is where the secret to a victorious Christian life and strong, not least for those who have the gift of prophecy and a prophet of service. Living like a preach, and believe themselves to what is written!
A young Frenchman named Clement Le Cossec, pastor of Assambles of God in France. One day the bell rang at his door. Outside stood a sigøynerpar with a treaty in hand. It turns out that it had been a keen member of his church in an evangelistic campaign that the church had.
The Treaty was written to read that Jesus could save and heal. They could tell that it paid attention their son was in hospital, given by the doctors. With tears in their eyes they asked if he could not follow them to the hospital to pray for her son. Node that shone out of their eyes convinced Le Cossec that this was something he had to do. He was with them in the hospital, where he laid his hands on the dying boy, and the miracle happened. The boy was instantly healed. The miracle created a belief among parents, who surrendered to Jesus.
18) Prophets needed to associate with prophets in the Old Testament prophet, there were schools.
We read in Scripture about Elijah the prophet had established a school in Jericho, and apparently he and Elisha visited this school. Some of the young, fresh prophets came to Elisha and asked, "Do you know that today the Lord will take away your master from you over the head?" (2 Kings. 2:5). Elisa interrupted them quickly and said to them: "hold your peace!"
Now, did these young, strong men of God with the study of scripture. They even had some prophetic visions, because they knew that Elijah would be taken up that day.
David was himself a prophet, but was revealed by another prophet. Nathan the prophet Nathan revealed. Even though the prophet, you need than to have with other prophets.
19) Speak out there who live in the heart, it is to release the prophetic gift.
"Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it." (Psalm 81.11)
It's incredibly important that we do not hold back, but "do not" out there who live in one's heart. It is better that it comes out something, a nothing.
"Cry of the throat, spare not! Lift up thy voice like a trumpet and declare to my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins "(Isaiah 58.1).
Call the throat and spare not, it is scriptural encouragement. It may sound somewhat violently out, and that's it. But scripture encourages us to be bold, brave and open up to the Lord in our lives.
20) Warning, that in the end there shall be many false prophets.
This I have taken up at several places on both the blog and on our website, but the writing speaks again and again that in the end there shall be many false prophets shall rise up (Matt. 24.11).
Matt. 24. 11 And many false prophets will arise and deceive many.
We live in a high prophetic times. What the first Christians prophesied would happen in the days before the Lord's coming is now as before our eyes. It is not something that will happen or will happen. But this has happened and happens today.
Many false prophets will rise up. Not a few but many.
Who are these false prophets? There are no outsiders such as mormonernere, JV and sometimes extreme Christian groups.
We read several places that they occur within its so-called evangelical believers churches. And their teachings were to achieve progress and also to themselves and Jesus warned of end-time deception. It was the first and biggest sign of His coming.
21) Alone with God.
1. Timothy 5:5-6, TLB. ? Anyone who really was a widow and alone, she has put their hope in God and live in prayer and supplication night and day. But those who just want to enjoy life, she is living death.?
All believers should be like a widow, and in particular prophet or those who have the prophetic gift. There are special promises given to the person or persons which go alone with the Lord. Could have written many articles on this topic, but alone with God is and remains our most important and largest resource, and opportunity as believers, we are prophets or not!
22) Who can hold a prophet of service?
Women may hold the prophet and evangelist as long as she is covered and submit to their husband. The man is free and has the ability to have and to hold all the ministry gifts. Then as long as God calls him and able for him.
Luke says that Philip "had four unmarried daughters who had the gift of prophecy" (Acts 21.10). These daughters, we hear no more about either before or since. They apparently do not contribute to the story in any way. No one would have noticed it if Luke had failed to give us this information. Why then is this information given? Luke must have had a good reason to give us this "redundant" information.
Firstly, one can of course think of the people these girls were. They were women, they were unmarried and were certainly young. Each of these things - women, young, unmarried - can be enough to disqualify people for service in certain Christian relations today. Luke tells us that this was not the first church. Second, it may be useful to meditate on what effect it had on these girls to grow up in a strong spiritual home. We know a lot about Philip the evangelist (Acts 6.1 to 6 8.4 to 40) and have every reason to believe that his children received thorough training in the gospel, and that the father's zeal for Jesus rubbed off on them. What does it mean for the development of services in the church of God that such spiritual home where children are growing up?
However, all the Norwegian translations I have checked an inaccurate translation of this verse. It is said that these daughters had a prophetic gift. The basic text is the word "gift" is used at all. What is is that Philip had four "prophets to daughters." From the verb form used in Greek (present participle active), we understand that this was the girls who was wont to prophesy - this was something they ever did. This is much more dynamic and vibrant than just a gift. A gift you can in fact put in a drawer and take out once in a while. Philip's daughters, however, lived actively in the prophetic.
One may wonder why the Norwegian Bible translations use the term "daughters with the gift of prophecy" instead of writing "prophets of the daughters." Could it be that the four active young female prophets are too distant from our reality? If it is less challenging to say they had a prophetic gift? But this is just speculation. My point is that we must recover the dynamic of the prophetic service. Therefore, we study the prophets, we are introduced to the New Testament - and among them belongs to Philip's four daughters.
Final Comment: I've tried to written a few articles where the prophetic pages have been elucidated, and has an article again where I get into my experiences with the prophetic. Would encourage everyone to seek God for the prophetic.
"Strive for the greatest gifts!" (1.Kor.12.31) The word "endeavor" seems negative for us, but it does mean that we can pray fervently and eager to get them. Experience shows that many people have one or more of these gifts without knowing it. They are not "packaged them out." They have experienced strange feelings and thoughts in specific situations that they do not quite understand. This can often hint that the gift is there, and that it is a question of awareness to it and use it. And for those who have started using it, continue with it and move forward in faith and confidence and with the Lord.
