No. 878:
Why Smyrna Oslo has so difficult to achieve progress, while others grow and experience progress!

It is important to be self-critical. But also critical of others. Balance!
But I believe and am convinced that eventually it will preaching and what I stand for, victories and prosper!
Illustrative image of chariots and horses chariots of fire round about Elisha the prophet.

This writes Bjorn Storm Johansen Day:
There are many in this world with good intensjoner..både people who operate in the name of Jesus and not in the name of Jesus. But good intentions savior no one, not "burning commitment" .. The question is ALWAYS "Is preaching and practice in accordance with the biblical word?" .. So the word of God. And here falls Hanevold and mostly shown on Vision Norway through. A mix of glorious theology, charity and extreme charismatic is what characterizes speakers and focus.

In addition to a HUGE pengemas.

Hanevold and many of the speakers they use is associated with religious movement, where the teachings and practices are totally astray.
When Hanevold is married for 3.gang and in addition pastor, it shows their real lack of Bible-believing cabinets and fear of God. It is not few meetings looking at Vision Norway, where speakers screaming, laughing uncontrollably, promises enormous revivals, begging for money and promises a little more economic prosperity to all who listen, without the message of a Holy God, sinful people, and Jesus as their deputy mentioned.

Neither God's judgment or damnation is mostly mentioned, and then does not give the gospel any sense. Unfortunately most of Vision Norway seduction and a deviation from God's word and way, and I hope the channel disappears and that the Lord raises up a channel that shows sound doctrine in word and practice, not covetous wolves lurking and lying to people. Remember warnings throughout the Bible that "within" and "among yourselves" shall appear false prophets. Unfortunately I am afraid that Vision Norway contributes to much of that these promises / warnings are met.

Marit Jernberg Rossland writes:

The man and his associates are incredibly adept manipulators.

In addition swallowing most viewers everything that comes out channel. I think Hanvold both of history and the Bible as it suits him.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Arvid Steinskog writes:

Now it's just a tick at all Vision Norway.

When much of the funds go to pay a sick pastor with a salary level that is far above most industry leaders in this country, then I see clearly the need.
And as far as I understand with a par three wrecked relationships behind. No folks, the need to provide assistance is subordinate Hanevold. There are sea that comes in his own pocket that goes ahead.
(end of quote).

Why have we not the progress that we should desire? Or is it a mirage?

The truth is that it goes with God is always on the winning side and it is one that is with us is both bigger. And there is always more with the living God than those who live with God. We have many examples in Scripture:

1 Joh.b. 4. 4 But you, my children, are from God and have overcome them. For he that is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
5. 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world. And it has conquered the world, our faith.

2 King. 6. 8 king of Aram was at war with Israel. Once he consulted with his officers, he said: "I will encamp at it and it place." 9 When he sent the man of God unto the king of Israel, saying, "Beware of dragging past this place for the Arameans have camped there. "10 So the king of Israel sent messengers to the place the man of God had mentioned. He warned the king, and he took his guard. This happened several times.
11 king of Aram became upset over this. He called his men together and said to them: "Tell me! Who of our people the king of Israel? "12 Then said one of his men:" None of us, my lord king. It is Elisha, the prophet in Israel, which allows the king of Israel know every word you say in your bedroom. "13 Then the king said:" Go and find out where he is, so I can send people and seize him. "He got the message that the prophet was in Dothan, 14 and there the king sent a large army with horses and chariots. They came at night and surrounded the city.
15 Early the next morning, when the man of God servant stood up and walked out, he saw an army with horses and chariots that surrounded the city. "Oh, my lord, what shall we do now?" The boy said to Elisha. 16 He replied: "Be not afraid! There are several who are with us than with them. "17 Then Elisha prayed and said," Oh, Lord, open the boy's eyes so he can see "The Lord opened his eyes, and he saw that the mountain was full of chariots and horses chariots of fire all around Elisha.
18 When the Syrians came down against him, Elisha prayed unto the LORD, "Strike this people with blindness!" And Elisha prayer struck Lord them with blindness. 19 Elisha said to them: "It is not this way or this city. Follow me, I will lead you to the man you're looking for. "And he led them to Samaria. 20 When they arrived, asked Elisha, "Lord, open their eyes so they can see!" The Lord opened their eyes, and they saw that they were in the midst of Samaria. 21 Then the king of Israel saw them, he said to Elisha, "Should I just cut them down, Dad?" 22 He replied: "Thou shalt not cut them down! Have you captured them with swords and bow to destroy them? Set bread and water before them, let them eat and drink and return home to their master. "23 The king prepared a large feast for them and they ate and drank. So he them go, and they returned to their master. Came no more flocks of Aramean and ravaged Israel.

Here it is much instructive. Firstly what the apostle John writes. That he who dwells in us is bigger and stronger than he who lives and is in the world! We as believers are invincible if and when we go to God! But we let the roof of him, then we are under Satan, the world and our fallen flesh!

Furthermore, we read about the prophet and his disciple when they received opplatt their spiritual eyes so the things opposite one what they saw in the flesh and the natural. Therefore we can never count on the spiritual plane what we see only with our natural eyes. But we need and should have hearts enlightened eyes. This was the prayer which the Apostle Paul asked the church in Ephesus write:

From my commentaries Ephesians 1. 17 I pray that our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may let you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you learn to know God.

It is where it starts. To be saved is to teach God and Jesus to know. Jesus says in John 17.3: And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and him you sent forth, Jesus Christ.
This verb "to know" expresses in biblical language much more than acquaintance. It expresses its deepest jointly won by personal experience. You can have all the world's knowledge about a person, but you do not know him before you have met this person and been with him over time.
Same verb "to know" is used incidentally about the most intimate union of man and woman. It says for example. verbatim in 1 Mos 4.25: Adam knew his wife and she bore him his son Set.
It is perhaps why the church is called the bride of Christ.
Becoming a Christian is something much more than having knowledge of God or believe that he is. It also believes the devils: Jak 2,19 You believe that God is one? It makes you right in. Even the demons believe that - and shudder!
No, the saving faith is to get a personal communion with God in Jesus Christ. It is to be in Him, as Paul repeatedly says both here in Ephesians and otherwise.
To get into this community, we need the Spirit's revelation. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 2:14: But as a human being is in itself, it does not receive the things of the Spirit of God. For him it is foolishness, and he can not comprehend it; it can only spiritually discerned.
But it is possible to come to faith. This happens when the Spirit reveals God's wisdom for us. And God's wisdom it is the Word of the cross:
We preach Christ crucified. For Jews, this offensive and to Gentiles foolishness, 24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power and wisdom of God. Paul says in 1 Cor 1.23 to 24.
The word of the cross is also God's love revelation. John says: 1 John 4.9 to 10 And God's love was revealed among us when he sent his only begotten Son into the world that we might have life through him. 10 Love is not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
This love is never done, to know. Christian Life is a continual growth in the knowledge of Christ and love for him. This awareness grows primarily by being in His word. And here we still need the Spirit's revelation and enlightenment. In Psalm 119.18 asks David Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things in your law. And the more we get to know Jesus, yes, more we desire to be better acquainted with him.
I find it highly to read in File 3.7 to 9: But what before were gain to me, I see now as a loss because of Christ. 8 Yes, I reckon everything as loss because it knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, is so much more appreciated. For his sake I have lost everything, and I see it as scrap that I may gain Christ 9 and be him. This Paul writes about year 61. He can look back on nearly 30 years as a Christian. What he had not experienced and experienced with Jesus! Yet his greatest desire to know Christ and be found in Him. Towards the fade everything else.
The more we understand the love of God, the more we experience it, the more we will surrender to it - with everything we are and have. And the more we surrender ourselves to God, the freer we become, for that is what we are called to. And the more we surrender, the more we become transformed to resemble Jesus, the more we want to do His will.
It is possible to be an obedient Christian without being given over to God's love. And unfortunately there are a lot of tiresome obedience among Christians. One does what God wants of duty. But God's word says that what is done in love, have no value for him.
1 Cor 13.3 If I give everything I own to the bread for the poor, even if I give myself to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
But it is not possible to be given over to God without simultaneously obey Him. When Knight obedience out of surrender. Then not Christian life a set commandments and rules: "Thou shalt and thou shalt not," no, then it becomes: "I want and I will not."
If someone said to me: "You should not have any side of Berit," so it would not be a heavy duty to follow the exhortation. I have experienced her love and I have given myself to her. I do not want anyone else. - In the same way with God: "Thou shalt have no other gods before me," he says. But I will not then! So much I have experienced His love that I will not follow anyone but him!

18 May he give their heart eye light, so you understand the hope he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance of the saints,

We hope for a delightful inheritance. Peter begins his 1.brev with praising God for this hope: 1 Pet 1.3 to 5 Blessed be God, our Lord Jesus Christ Father who in his abundant mercy hath begotten us again and given us a living hope through Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead! 4 We should get an inheritance that never perishes and not stain or wither. It is kept in heaven for you 5 who by God's power is preserved by faith, then you should reach salvation; it is all ready to be revealed at the end of time.
We have a living hope. This means that it is not empty and vacuous hope. It is not a vague, uncertain desire á la student who hopes he stands for the exam, or when we say: "I hope that it must be nice weather tomorrow." - No, Jesus guarantees hoped by his resurrection from the dead! As he arose, so shall we believe one day arise. Jesus has gone ahead to prepare us a place, he said. And one day he will come back and take us home. Then we'll take part of this legacy is kept in heaven for us.
Our hope shatters all our human notions. It is simply too big to comprehend with our human reason. That is why Paul prays that the Holy Spirit must give our hearts eye light so we understand.
This is a bit strange expression, but heart in biblical language is not only blood pump, but stands for the internal organ that allows us to communicate with God. We believe with the heart, we understand with the heart, the Bible says. Another word for heart is human spirit. Basically this means dead, but by His Spirit, God makes it alive, so we can seize the faith and understand more of the glory that awaits.
Let me just take a few biblical passages that say something about our lovely heritage:
1 John 3,2 Beloved, now we are children of God, and it doth not yet been revealed what we shall be. We know that when he reveals himself, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.
Imagine, we shall see him as he is ... I know it as if it quivering body of excitement and anticipation him that I have come to know, learned to love him I have earned, believed and worshiped without seeing - his beauty, I shall behold clear! Face to face! For one day it will be! Then it is fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: With my own eyes I shall behold the King in His beauty. 33.17.
But it will not have the same experience that when we have packed up all the presents on Christmas Eve, and so there is no more to rejoice. Have you noticed that hope should consist in eternity? 1Cor 13,13 abideth these three: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. There is always something to hope for. The eternal life will become an increasingly surprise. It never gets monotonous or boring to behold the glory of God.
And let's also bring the vision John saw on Patmos:
Rev. 21.1-5 I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared and adorned as a bride for her husband. 3 From the throne I heard a loud voice saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men. He will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself will be with them. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain. the former things have passed away. "5 He who sits on the throne said to me: "Behold, I make all things new."
When hope is alive, the faith boldly and love burning!
Thirdly, Paul asks is
3. That they must understand how very power of God is
Ephesians 1.18 to 19 May he give their heart eye light, so you understand - how very His power is with us who believe.
That is what we need to live here in the time between the call to salvation and the hope that awaits.
Christian life is a journey toward a goal. We are not vagrants who wander haphazardly along life coaching. We are not tourists who every evening return to the place we went out from. No, we are pilgrims who every day to get closer to your goal. But the obstacles are many, temptations and dangers lurk. We have a powerful opponent who has just a program: Steal, kill and destroy. Then it is easy to fixate on the problems and lose heart.
Therefore Paul asks that we must understand how very His power is that is among us who believe. And then he describes this power to show three facts that belong together: first God showed his mighty power by:
a. Travel up Jesus from the dead.
Jesus' resurrection puts Christianity in a unique position. It is so to say the proof that our faith is true. Yes, Paul says to the philosophical scholars on Aeropagos: Acts 17,31 For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice. This shall be done by the man he has chosen to do so, after he has given assurance to all by raising Him from the dead. NB 88.
Jesus' resurrection was more than a dead fungus revival. Lazarus was quickened after being dead for four days but he had to die again. Jesus' resurrection was a victory over death. It was God's mighty power that broke the power of death. Therefore Paul triumph in 1 Cor 15,55 Death, where is your sting? Death, where is your victory?
1 Corinthians 15.57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!
As Jesus arose, we believe that one day arise. So very power of God in us who believe.
God also proved its mighty power by
b. Putting Jesus at his right hand in heaven.
It is the highest place of honor, the seat of the highest authority. During Jesus' earthly life, he was equal to God in essence, he is now also in function. Therefore he has also got the name above all names: Namely name Lord in Greek Kyrios in Hebrew Yahweh, ie God's own name.
Paul reproduces probably an old hymn or confessional File 2.9 to 11: Therefore God has highly exalted him and given him the name above every name, 10 that every knee shall bow in the name of Jesus in heaven and on earth and under the earth , 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to God's glory! Verbatim says: confess the Lord Jesus Christ.
Now Jesus carries the omnipotence of God over all principalities and powers. Everything under his feet, V22. He is also with us, as he promised: Behold, I am with you alway, even unto the world's end. Matt 28.20. What have we to fear?
(state final).

Final Comment:
At Jan Hanvold, Vision Norway and many other false prophets and misguided spiritual direction has called progress. It does not matter really. As long as we're doing does not match the word of God, then everything is in vain. This scripture says:

1 Cor. 13. 1. Though I speak with men and of angels,
           but have not love,
then I'm just sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

2 If I have the gift of prophecy,
understand all mysteries and all knowledge,
though I have all faith so that I could remove mountains,
           but have not love,
           I am nothing.

3 If I give everything I own to the bread of the poor,
yes, if I give myself to be burned,
           but have not love,
           then I have nothing won.

It helps nothing to give poor children in Moldova food if one lives in sin. It is clear, for the poor children it means a lot, but within its God will Hanvold never be saved and be rewarded for this when he simultaneously living in sin and doing heresy. Scripture says that has a breaking a commandment, so have a breaking them all:

James 2 10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one of the commandments, has been guilty of breaking them all.

As long Hanvold and others have not repented, so they live in sin and perdition children who Judas was it!

But the one that goes with God, living in accordance with God's word, it is the opposite!

He / she is a overcomes, and will stand victorious after having overcome everything!

From my commentaries Ephesians 6 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord, in his mighty power!

So what Paul skips from the human and natural part of the spiritual. But all this goes together. God's Word encourages us to be strong and be overcome. There we are by being obedient to God org his words and put on his mighty power. Even in the Old Testament was the powerful promises it to be obedient as we find among others 5th Genesis 28, how much more in the new covenant!

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may stand against the devil's wiles.

Here we put on God's armor. What it is and includes coming in the next verses. We should not just put on some parts of the armor, but the whole armor. But there are so many believers who never comes out or going out in the spiritual battle that this is something they fail completely to relate to. It is only when one has been in fights that realize how important and vital this is. Been to struggle and suffer defeat, as will a do everything you can to not suffer defeat in the next fight!

12 For we have not a fight against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of this darkness, against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places.

The real opponents are demons who are under the leadership of the Devil. There are evil spirits of different orders of magnitude and positions. There are demonic world rulers who operate in this darkness that the world finds itself in. It is a battle against "spiritual wickedness in the heavenly." That they belong spiritual world, and hence they are eerily dangerous and insidious. Satan acts in many different ways, both as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14) and as a roaring lion (1 Peter 5.8). He is most dangerous when he appears as an angel of light, disguised as a messenger of the Gospel.
God's word says about the last days: "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons. It happens by hypocrisy of false teachers, who are branded in their own conscience "1 Tim 4.1 to 2. Wrong doctrine has consequently its origin in evil spirits and heresies are affected by, or under the influence of evil spirits. Therefore we can say that it is not a battle against humans in itself, but the devil and evil spirits using or abusing people in their struggle against God and Christians.
God's word does not deny that we have a sinister opponent with horrific evil spirits will do everything possible to deceive God's children. But we know that Jesus disarmed the evil spirits when he triumphed at Calvary (Colossians 2:15). Although the devil and his spiritual army is defeated, so is not the judgment executed yet. Therefore, they have yet a time to seduce and tempt us humans, but the judgment of them are already pronounced.
But there are also various spirits we face. We can divide them.
1.) The powers and authorities.
2.) The world rulers of this darkness.
3.) Evil spirits in high places.
Here we meet three different areas of enemy armies that will fight and disturb us. Two of the secret to victory is to know ourselves and our own clout. And know the enemy and his clout.
1.) Here we meet people "Face to Face". Why will not the media and everything else write and relate factual and objective to us believers and objectively? Satan is behind.
2.) It is a Spirit that the Bible describes as Satan Spirit Antikrist`s, the spirit which is in the children of disobedience works and reigns in this world. Contrasting with the Spirit of God can we say.
3.) Here are the demons and fallen angels. Demons are like "small" men on 1 \ 2 m if one were to see them visible to the eye. The fallen angels are above the demons again and may even multiply, we read in Genesis 1 6. They assumption respectively helped to rule this world before together with Lucifer. We read several places in scripture that demons infiltrate and occupied people. While the fallen angels went so far as to have intercourse with women and had children with them, they had opportunities to propagate. But they are spiritual beings that can be both visible and invisible to the eye sacrifice!
1. Genesis 6 4 At the time and since, too, there were giants on the earth. For god's sons lived with the daughters of men and had children with them. It was the mighty men of old, renown.
Human girls give birth fights, they are Gude sons have other genetic conditions that are stronger and different than people after the fall.
King David exterminated those who survived the flood, and today they are spiritual people and not flesh and blood,
2. Samuel 21. 18 Since it came to new conflict with the Philistines at Gob. Where felled Hushathite of pop!-Seed a man named Saf and was a descendant of Rafa. 19 Once again, it came to battle with the Philistines at Gob. Elhanan son of Jaare-Orgim from Bethlehem, killed Goliath of Gath, who had a spear shaft as thick as a weaver's beam. 20 Since it came to blows at Gath. There was a huge man who had six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot, twenty-four fingers and toes in all. He also heard Rafa-lineage. 21 The man taunted Israel. But Jonathan, the son of David's brother Shimeah, killed him. 22 These four belonged to Rafa family in Gath. David and his men killed them.
23. 21 He also cast a huge Egyptian. Egyptian had a spear in his hand, but Benaiah went against him with a rod, snatched the spear out of the Egyptian's hand and killed him with his own spear.
It is only at the end of the great tribulation that these spiritual sizes will reveal his true for all people. Until then we are their biggest rivals and they are our hardest and biggest opponents. But Jeus have defeated them on the cross once and for all. It is good and reassuring to know.
Will also remember that Satan is very concerned about this so he put out lies that are not true about this. See here: According to ZetaTalk had David's great-grandmother was raped or abused as sex slave by a Anunnaki-soldier, and had then given birth to a hybrid (David grandmother). It was thus Anunnaki blood in David veins, and as a child he had by his mother learned to hate giants. This is just a giant hoax!
This is from my commentaries Colossians Dispenser Letter 2. 15 He disarmed the principalities and powers, and set them up to ridicule when he triumphed over them in it.
Satan and demons had has on our lives. We were in darkness and thrived in the dark and was Satan property. But they were disarmed and moved forward as liars, prosecutors and without reel power. Satan and demon had been ravaged long and thorough enough. But not anymore, now they were defeated. The victory is complete. God the Father is satisfied through Jesus' work at Calvary. We sins are forgiven and God can take us to the grace and adopt us into his family as his own children. And Satan and demon has no reel power longer, they are living on borrowed time! Jesus resetting the law for us believers. It does not apply longer for us, just grace in Christ Jesus.

13 Take therefore the whole armor of God, that ye may resist in the evil day and remain standing after having overcome everything.

Therefore encourages Apostle believers to take the armor of God so that they can withstand in the evil day (v. 13). The days are different. Some days we look back with joy, others we will like to forget. The days to come, we know nothing about, but experience shows that someone will be good and some evil. We should note that the Devil is a strategist and usually takes a day when we feel everything is hard and heavy, when he comes by his cunning and temptations to try to cause us to fall.
Particularly bad days for the people of God is persecution times. In our time, there are many in the world who are persecuted for their Christian faith, and the world is experiencing more martyrs than any time in history. Pursuing Reading Time will culminate at the Antichrist come and the great tribulation. Therefore it is important that we take the whole armor of God, that we may be standing.
