Romans 8. 26-27 that the Spirit intercedes for us is misleading when basic text says that the Spirit comes into us with groanings unutterable!

The Holy Spirit completes us!

Romans 8: 26 Likewise the Spirit also helps our weakness. For we know not what we should pray for to pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with sighs without words. 27 And he who searches the hearts knows what the Spirit will; for the Spirit prays for the saints according to the will of God.

If the Spirit intercedes for us or is it a mistranslation? It says that the Spirit comes to help us in our weakness. It is 100% biblically correct and this I also experience wise. But if the Spirit himself intercedes for us with sighs without words?

The basic text is the following: the Spirit comes into us with sighs unspeakable.

Furthermore iv 27 it says again: he enters the Saints.

What is meant by that? It means that we do our part, please. Then the Spirit to help, supernatural help and make our prayer becomes complete.

How we experience this? We begin to ask, so after a time, we do not more. Then the Spirit to help. We pray and pray, but then comes the Spirit in and makes us pray through as the "old" so often said. It's not the length that is decisive, but the Spirit comes to help us. The deputize for us!

Nor should it stood: but the Spirit completes us, with supernatural guidance.

When we hit the significance of what Paul would have act, or what God says through Paul.

It is feasible that God has sent us his Spirit as our helper on this earth.

Let me also take a few more translations from the same scripture:

Living: Helps the Holy Spirit us with our daily problems and in our prayers.

Jerusalem: when we can not choose words to pray properly.

Hedegaard is the best: Do what the Spirit means.

Seidelin: What the Spirit has in mind.

All this is taken from the Study Bible.

What is the significance? We do everything that we can and so we can be 100%. But when not enough, as it so often does. If we experience the supernatural elements of the Holy Spirit.

A help from God through His Spirit who is our human frailty and our human limitation to help and rescue. Spirit comes into us, hallelujah

We also get this teaching several places in the word of God.

Joh.e.14. 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter to be with you forever: 17 Spirit of truth, whom the world can not receive. For the world sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. 18 I will not let you be left as orphans. I come to you. 19 Soon world does not see me anymore. But you shall see me, because I live, ye shall live also. 20 That day shall ye know that I am in my Father, and ye in me and I in you.

21 He who knows my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And whoever loves me will my Father love. Yes, I too will love him and manifest myself to him. "

Joh.e.16. 12 I have yet much to say to you, but ye can not bear them now. 13 But when the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. For he shall not speak of himself, but whatever he hears, and make known to you what is to come. 14 He shall glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. 15 All that the Father has is mine. Therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.

God the Father and Jesus Christ our Lord has not left us as a helpless child.

Should we master a job, we need competence, so is the Holy Spirit. The means that we mastered our task in this world.

1.Joh.b.2. 6 Whoever says: "I am in him" must live as Jesus lived.

This could I spent hours, days, and even more time taught.

It's so exciting and interesting what God is doing through our lives, both my and all other believers.

Here are two basic truths we have learned through this short Bible study.

1.) We do absolutely everything as best we can by yourself.

Is persevere in prayer. Attending meetings and reading the Bible. Shall we preach or write an article. Everything we do for the poor best ability.

2.) When all the good we do is not enough, as it often does. When we expect a supernatural aid sent from God himself; the Holy Spirit. God and the Spirit of Christ.

This I have experienced countless times. Read through the entire Bible in mind, especially the NT. And apostleship is particularly in the core of this. God did great things through simple men and women who were constant and daily filled with his Spirit.

The crucial difference is not ourselves, if God requires of us that we do everything to the best of ability. But the Holy Spirit, whom he has sent to earth to strengthen, comfort, guide and complement us.

There is a section that sets things up against each other as God's word does not.

How much should the Spirit have of me and I of the Spirit?

It's something that comes with each other. When a wheel begins to walk around yesterday on the wheel and the hub around the same time. So it is with this, Jesus said: Joh.e.15.5b. Whoever remains in me and I in him, bears much fruit. For without me ye can do nothing. Christ leads us and we get the Spirit.

Do we need to be baptized in the Holy Spirit? Yes, but it is a one-time experience.

Daily cleansing and Spirit fullness is life condition for a believer to experience a heavenly life here on this earth. Everything except this is not the life God has called us to.

Large? Yes. Achievable? Yes, in that we do everything 100% as well as we can by yourself. But assume that the Holy Spirit does the rest as not as we possibly can in ourselves.

1.Joh.b.1. 5 This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you: God is light, there is no darkness in him. 6 If we say we have fellowship with him, but walk in darkness, we lie and do not follow the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

Efesb.5. 18 Do not get drunk on wine, wherein is excess, be either filled with the Spirit.

This is wonderful, heavenly and delicious. Walking in the light as He is in the light, and daily to be filled by Jesus! Yes, that is what we are when we are filled with the Spirit. Here again we see that the Trinity not measure up to God's word.

That is exactly what Jesus said in John. e. 14 23 Jesus replied: "Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come and stay with him.

That is exactly what God wants, stay with us here in time to our hearts. It is fully possible by a daily walk in God's holiness!

I learned this and millions before me have experienced since the early Christians.

And all this is available to you and me today. No is not special in ourselves. There is only one that is special; Jesus Christ.

Matthew 3. 17 And there was a voice from heaven: "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

Father had a permanent pleasure in the Son. How will the Father also have a permanent joy in our lives when the Spirit completes us!

Wonderful teaching?

We as believers is more a Royal, rich and famous in this world. We live a heavenly uprising life in this world here and now!

This with the Holy Spirit complement us go again and again as a biblical principle in several areas.

This is a subject and truth that has concerned me very like an old football player where one is accustomed to think holistically. What does being a good footballer but playing with bad players?

Should one do something as a footballer is obsessed by the other complements one.

So it is in marriage, church, workplace and many other places. There is a biblical principle. Becoming completed.

It is the principle of prayer that Paul takes up the Holy Spirit completes us in prayer.

Shall I paraphrase this verse in Rom.8.26b are as follows:

For we know not what we should pray for to pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with sighs without words. This was the text of our Bible, it's going so it could be translated in accordance with the basic text and that will give the right opinion. The Holy Spirit does not intercede for us, but with us!

For we do not know at all times how we should be persuaded to pray, therefore the Spirit's aid in the deepest way (sigh is deepest way) so we ask the right with his help.

And further v27b: for the Spirit prays for the saints according to the will of God.

Then it would have been:

for the Spirit enters into prayer (along with the believers) so God asked.

It's strange when we go into the basic text. So get the word of God at certain points completely different meaning and significance. And the correct meaning.

The Holy Spirit operates and works not for himself, but with us. It is we who need the Spirit and we are right to use everything that God has bestowed upon us.

The two main things God has given us the word of God and the Holy Spirit. Here lies the secret of all good, healthy spiritual progress!
