No. 759: Heavenly Anointing!

No. 759:
Heavenly Anointing!

What anointing and what is "heavenly anointing!"? This I shall try to give an answer on here in this article.

Personal testimony first!

On Maranta sued in 1984 had Evangelist Curt Johansson someone special meetings, it was also so special were the fruits of this breakthrough for God. It was a åndsutgytelse and anointing from heaven, where I think that many were met by God in spirit, soul and body. It was inter alia several who had not slept the night through when several had gone through the åndsdåp. Spec Total among youth, and indeed children too. They kept going until morning to speak for the first time in new tongues. Yes, God is able only we let him!

Will divide the article into three parts.

1) How to partake of the anointing.
2) Why do we need anointing.
3) and preserved in anointing

This course goes into each other, but there are also three sides of the same coin.

1) How to partake of the anointing.

The anointing is for all believers. It is God's anointing and in our lives that make a difference. For Jesus, before he was consecrated to the service as he was anointed. It happened at the baptism in Jordan when the Spirit of God descended upon him, and it was upon him.

Matt. 3 13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. 14 But John tried to prevent Him, saying, "I need to be baptized by you, and then you come to me?" 15 Jesus replied, "Let it happen now! This we must do to fulfill all righteousness. "Then let Johannes happen. 16 When Jesus was baptized, went up straightway out of the water. And lo, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove. 17 And a voice came from heaven: "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

This was done by Jordan, why there? Children of Israel went into the country of Jordan. Jordan stands for new beginnings.

Joh. e. 1 28 This happened at Bethany on the other side of the Jordan, where John was baptizing.
29 The next day John saw Jesus coming to him, and he says: "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! 30 To him it was I said, 'After me comes a man who has come before me, for He was before me. 31 And I knew him not: but that he should be revealed to Israel, I came baptizing with water. "32 And John testified," I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him . 33 I did not know him. But he who sent me to baptize with water said to me: He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining in, he is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit. 34 I have seen, and have testified, He is the Son of God. "

Note that all happened on the eighth day, the day of circumcision and a new beginning. (Eight figure in Scripture stands for new beginning or a new era).

The anointing of Jesus indicates in new era

Acts 10 38 Jesus of Nazareth was anointed by God with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

How did Jesus as part of this anointing? Scripture answers:

Heb. 1 8 But unto the Son:
Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,
your rod of righteousness is the scepter.

9 You have loved righteousness and hated iniquity.
Therefore God, your God, has anointed you and not your friends
            with the oil.

It was through Jesus perfect hatred of sin and His perfect love for God's Word that anointing was one with him.

Jesus had a heavenly anointing when he was perfect in hatred, and perfected in love!

Unfortunately we are all more or less misguided here. Grace is for everyone, and anointing likewise. But the scripture says that God's grace remains over us, even if we fail. But the anointing, it disappears if we fail. There are many who misunderstand, go wild and do not realize the condition underlying.
The anointing is with purity, good conscience and God's "favor."
While grace is there constantly!
Now we're really over in Section 3.

3) and preserved in anointing

It is primarily living in purity with our lives and not give in to our flesh that we kept in the anointing. The entire NT is full of exhortations, why? Because we shall be preserved in anointing. In many ways, our sanctification, the safest way to preserve the anointing. I had the title of this teaching as follows:

Heavenly Anointing!

How to live in the heavenly anointing? We do this by living our lives according to the word of God above all else. Where to live in a moral and ethical holiness is a lifeline, and the alpha and omega of experiencing and living in the anointing that is from Heaven. Therefore also the headline of this article: "Heavenly Anointing!".

Finally, let us take the point we have taken so far:

2) Why do we need anointing?

Let me briefly mention three reasons because we need the anointing.

1) It marks that we are entering a new task, a service.
2) It gives us a Divine aggregates.
3) Without the anointing, so will not Christ and the Divine forward to us!

1) It marks that we are entering a new task, a service.

We read in the Old Testament when the priests and especially the chief priests should go in the service. Were they anointed it. Likewise, when eg. King David was chosen, he was anointed for service. And it was the anointing he stood up. But even after he was anointed as having a maturity to.

1 Sam.b. 16 1 The Lord said to Samuel, "How long will you grieve over Saul? I have rejected him as king over Israel. Fill your horn with oil and go! I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem, for I have seen me out one of his sons to be king. "2 Samuel replied," How can I go there? If Saul hear it, he'll kill me. "Then the Lord said," Take a heifer with you and say that you are going to sacrifice to the Lord. 3 Then invite Jesse to the sacrifice! I'll tell you what to do. Him I show you, you shall anoint for me. "
4 Samuel did what the LORD had said. When he arrived at Bethlehem, the elders of trembling to meet him and asked, "Are you for peace?" 5 He answered, "Yes, I have come to sacrifice to the Lord. Do yourselves pure and holy and came with me to the sacrifice. "Then he consecrated Jesse and his sons and invited them to the sacrifice.
6 When they came, and he saw Eliab and said to himself: "Here in front of the Lord is now his anointed." 7 But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. It does not apply to what people see. For people see what the eyes see, but the Lord looks at the heart. "8 Then Jesse called Abinadab, and made him stand before Samuel. But Samuel said, "Neither has the LORD chosen this." 9 Then Jesse made Shammah pass by; But Samuel said, "Neither has the LORD chosen this." 10 So Jesse the seven sons appear before Samuel. But Samuel said to Jesse, "The LORD has not chosen any of these."
11 Then Samuel asked, "Are these all the sons you have?" "No," replied Jesse, "there is still one left, the youngest. He is out with the sheep. "" Send for him, "said Samuel. "We will not eat until he comes." 12 So he sent Jesse sent for him. He was ruddy, had beautiful eyes and a good appearance. The Lord said, "Rise and anoint him; For he is. "13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers. From that day the LORD came upon David and remained in it. So Samuel rose up and went back to Ramah.

Anointing was a celebration of a new beginning. So it is for us, we receive God's anointing as happily through the laying on of hands. And thus we enter into a service Anointed of God.

Heb. 6 2 to education about renselsesbad and laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

Note that this belongs to the first principles of the word of God to receive God's anointing to minister to him. This happens primarily under the hands, followed by preaching and prayer.

2 Tim. 1 6 Therefore I remind you of this: Let the gift of God in you flare up again, the one you received when I laid hands on you!

We see that this happened through the laying on of hands, and it was like a "transfer" of anointing and power.

2) It gives us a Divine aggregates.

We have a natural fitting that God will sanctify. But we can also have a supernatural and God-given element in our lives. Where that is not us naturally to hand, we can still enjoy! There is, for example. those who can not be played and sung, that through God's anointing has been given the gift to both play and sing. We could mention other examples. That it never has for example. an interest in an area, the great interest in the area.

Or to put it another way. We are doing some work, so God does the rest. To explain it in another way. We work with a case a few hours and it feels like everything is wasted when we fail. Whereas when God is with and he anoints us. So abilities we do more in a few minutes, hours or days. Than we would otherwise have spent years and days. God is an unlimited resource only he can get to. How does it happen? Anointing!

3) Without the anointing, so will not Christ and the Divine forward to us!

Just as we need butter or oil in the frying pan that food should not be burnt. How we need God's anointing so that we not only have a clean literalism, but living in a Divine revelation and anointing with our lives!

The early church understood this fact and got the part in supernatural results. The same is possible for us. John reminds us: "But you have been anointed by the Holy and know the truth" (1 Jn 2:20). Note that it is not having the anointing, but you've got it. He goes on to say: "But the anointing which you received from him abides in you (2:27). This means that it continues to be present and that it does not disappear.

Final Comment:

Having now taken us this with anointing. But to tell you the truth, it is to experience God's presence and God's anointing, there are several approaches to. But why is there so little of God's anointing today? And there was more before? I think so!

Why? Because when God's people lived more in purity with their lives, and if someone sinned. So they had to be called to account for it. And actually had two options. Either repent or leave the Christian community. Today, so goes the world and God's church hand in hand. And the flesh and the Spirit's life can not be reconciled just as little as snow and fire can be reconciled. Today try one to let sin be overlooked and it sounds so pious that God will judge. But we will within the parish judge, we must empty judge angels. How much more so within the church today? No, let us return to Scripture, and God himself will anoint and equip us for service and tasks for him and the church of God!

Do not have taken so much that there are also ways to achieve this anointing on. Scripture speaks of seeking God's kingdom first. Through prayer and fasting. Be in a prophetic environment that they practiced in GT etc. Will surely return to this topic again, you bring it up then. This will be enough for this lesson. Can not take it all at once.
