Nr. 569: Thjostolf Moland death!

Nr. 569:
Thjostolf Moland death!

PS! Tjostolf Moland died through tragic circumstances, it concluded, he took his own life. What hair he has gone over the last five years is inhuman. Malaria, failed lawsuits, capturing stay etc. Let us pray for his family, Joshua French and everyone else in this tragic and difficult time. Pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus for healing, salvation and restoration!

Thjostolf Moland found dead, there's blood on the Norwegian government's hands with their weakness, sometimes misleading information and not willing to use real policies that money to the Congo and its government? Thinking about what Arnulf Øverland wrote: "Do not sit safely in your home and say: It is sad, poor them! Do not stand so close to heart the unfairness that upon yourself! I cry with the last breath of my voice: You are not allowed to go there and forget! "

Picture of a coffin that is the most tragic way Thjostolf Moland and anyone else can come home to Norway.

This is from Wikipedia about Thjostolf Moland: Birth 28 February 1981, died 18 August 2013 in Kinshasa was a Norwegian reserve officer and businessman, who founded security company SIG-Uganda. He was a second lieutenant in the Garden and Telemark Battalion, and has since worked in Africa with his friend Joshua French. French and Moland were known in 2009 when they were accused of murder and espionage in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Their driver Abedi Kasongo, was found shot dead on 5 May outside Kisangani in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Two witnesses claimed that the two men were behind. French and Moland have in Norwegian media insisted that bandits attacked them and the driver. The two were eventually arrested in the national park Okapi. The trial began, after many delays, at a military court in Kisangani on 14 August 2009, and the 8th September, the verdict was announced. Both were found guilty of all charges and sentenced to death. The verdict was appealed, but the ruling was later upheld. (End of quote).

In 2010, Moland sentenced to death for the murder of Abedi Kasongo. Since the death sentences of this time were no longer fulfilled in the Congo, was ruling in reality a life imprisonment sentence. He has since served his sentence in various jails in the Congo.

Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide said during the press conference held at the Foreign Ministry on 18 August 2013 that Moland was found dead in his cell in Kinshasa on the morning of the 18th August.

From the newspaper Verdens Gang: Lawyer: - Moland has struggled in prison

Thjostolf Moland's lawyer, like Strøsksnes, fearing that this would happen.

- Thjostolf Moland's death in Congo is the result of a cowardly Norwegian politics, the government and the Foreign Ministry have not been willing to adopt real policies, says Moland and French `former lawyer Morten Furuholmen.

He believes that the Norwegian authorities should charge the Congo to northern man brought home.

- Many of us have long feared that it would happen. Thjostolf Moland has like Joshua French suffered major problems in prison. The only appropriate in this case was that the Norwegian authorities had paid the Congo a certain amount, so that the two men were released and taken home. It is the only language understood by the authorities, says Furuholmen.

- The two were convicted of murder by courts in Congo. Would not such an action from Norway has been a violation of democratic principles not to override other countries' courts? - Arguments like this are worthless and intolerable when a country like Congo do not have courts that acts by legal principles. I think Norwegian authorities had duty to act, and every reason to make themselves more in this case. The judgment, which includes the Norwegian authorities, shows that there has been a serious right treatment, says lawyer Furuholmen.

- What should Norwegian authorities do?

- They should have been much earlier out and said clearly that it will not accept. We were threatened with real political consequences. Instead, the government opted for a cowardly line, which has not made an impression on President Kabila and the Congolese authorities. They should have been much clearer in rhetoric, and presented several unconventional solutions - including money. When would Moland and French been out a long time ago, says Furuholmen.

- What should Norway do now?

- Now UD take all measures to bring about a transfer of Joshua French. I perceive that Espen Barth Eide has been the most enthusiastic foreign minister on the pitch, but he came in late. Støre was lukewarm for long periods. I meant you should have been much more active at the highest political level, with separate meetings of the Congo. UD has been limited to short meetings during UN sessions in New York, and a contact in Ethiopia. There have been no meetings of the Congo, as far as I know, he says. (End of quote).

This type Tjostolf `s father Knut Moland:

Thjostolf Moland's death. This is the story of a murder. Again and again the family has notified the Foreign Ministry and utenriksministeriene Gahr Støre and Barth Eide, about what might happen. Now Thjostolf death, death sentences are executed.

The course was laid when Gahr Støre chose what he liked and who he thought was politically correct, he chose "not relate" to spy judgments, and "relate" to the other sentences. Outcome was a kind of stalemate situation.

UD was warned about what could happen again and again and again. I sent emails and letters to the Foreign Ministry and the Minister and Barth Eide and prayed on my knees. They did nothing. Now they Tjostolvs blood on their hands. The blood can not be washed away, and they will have it in their hands all his life.

Now Joshua French in a desperate situation, and must be helped home immediately. If they get his blood on their hands too.

This is a day of mourning, but also a shameful day. Thjostolf Moland was beaten and tortured and abused and betrayed by many. Now he's dead.

Peace with your memory Thjostolf. (End of quote).

What is in my opinion the cardinal error to YOU? They have not shown the ability and willingness to pursue a realpolitik of the Congolese authorities. Secondly, they have failed to use the leverage of Norwegian aid funds. They could withheld money that they give through relief funds and by what they give to "rescue" the rainforest.

We need a new government, but above all. Even in this tragic situation, there is always one thing that is important. Trusting in God and live for Him!

Got a Psalm of God concerning this tragic event.

Psalm 121 1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help come from? 2 My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. 3 And he shall not let your foot falter, your guardian shall not slumber. 4 Behold, he slumbers not and sleeps not, Israel's guardian. 5 The LORD is your keeper, the Lord is your shade at your right hand. 6 The sun shall not stab thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil, he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth and for evermore.

Final comment:

Should we as Christians care? As far as I know, acquaintances Tjostolf Jesus' name, only that in itself should make us believers to speak out, help and stand up for what is right, true and good! Rest in peace, and him and his memory and hope and believe we meet in the New Jerusalem where all the saved will be collected before the 1000 year kingdom.
