You are far more significant one you know - especially if you want to put there life in the Lord's hands 100 % !
My experience is that God can and will use whoever he wants and when he wants. Here a picture illustration of a woman who prays to God in private and alone.
God sees those who will go with him 100 % special, but his love is equal to everyone !
2 Chron . 16th 9a For the sight fro throughout the whole earth , to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him .
1 Sam . 16th 1 The Lord said to Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from being king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go ! I send thee to Jesse the Beth , for among his sons I have provided me a king . 2 And Samuel said , How can I make such a journey ? If Saul hear it , he killed me . Then the Lord said, Take thee a calf of the herd and say, I am come to sacrifice to the Lord. 3 And call Jesse to the sacrifice , and I will show thee what thou shalt do: and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom I say unto thee . 4 Samuel did what the Lord said . When the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, then it will be better with you . 17 Then Saul said to his servants : Yes , find me a man who plays well and bring him to me ! 18 One of the servants answered and said, I have seen a son of Jesse the Beth- that is cunning in playing, a mighty man and a soldier , good to speak for himself and a beautiful man, and the Lord is with him. 19 Then Saul sent messengers to Jesse , saying, Send up to me your son David , who is with the sheep ! 20 And Jesse took an ass laden with bread , and a bottle of wine and a young goat and sent them with his son David to Saul . 21 So David came to Saul , and he was in his favor , and Saul was dear unto him , and he became his armor bearer . 22 And Saul sent to Jesse , saying , Let David remain in my service ! For he hath found favor in my sight . 23 when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul , that David took an harp on it, and Saul got relief , and it was better with him , and the evil spirit departed from him .
Selection - calling - service , based on God's election and our surrender !
Who chooses God like? And who are fit for duty for him ? Scripture says that God sees the heart, it must also be part of " selecting " the response that we give our hearts to Him . Here was the " family business ", but no one in the company was selected even though the family was gathered. The Prophet had been told that there was a family there that God had chosen to become the next king after from fallen and disobedient King Saul . But when the Prophet came there, so there was none of them had the sanction of God to the prophet Samuel . But it was one that they had left out and forgotten who was the chosen one. We read when David was taken from the pasture into the " family company ": " And the Lord said , Arise , anoint him; For he is. Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward . "
The selection was 100 % with the Lord , but it was also the response and the pure heart and life which was with David that made God chose him above his brothers. How is it today too. God sees the heart, but he is the one who chooses !
David's most important time is from the chosen service and a stand up in service, then as an instrument of God , here he failed by being unfaithful. Why ? Part of the answer is that the preparation time he spent not good enough and were aware of their own weakness and lack of ability.
Satan running the elevator with us, we must never let he allowed to do that!
By that I mean that either we become proud or discouraged. Both are equally dangerous in their own way .
King David failed, but not Paul . Why ? We read about King David that he served God by coming to court sauce and sing for him . It is all well and good, but it is a place that is much better for a believer. They have to go alone with the Lord . We read about the Apostle Paul that he went out into the desert , for a blissful place for someone who wants to serve the Lord and prepare for service. It is the absolute best place . We read of Moses also spent 40 years in the desert , a better place to prepare for the service does not exist.
From my commentaries Galatians 1 15 But God , who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace , decided that he would Predestination for his vocation and ministry , there are other men and women in the Bible who have experienced such . Jeremiah. I think also there today . But most people get way laid ahead of them and they are attracted on choice, would you go or let each? The choice is when the individual !
16 reveal his Son to me , that I might preach him to the Gentiles . Then I consulted with me people. There are choices that are required to be in private with God . After all, the individual who will carry the call , message and be the instrument . Human recognition and is and always will be # 2 and an eventual vindication . God is our best partner and advisor!
17 I went not up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me. I went into Arabia , and since I returned to Damascus. All this Paul preached following a revelation from heaven . Presumably he received this revelation during the three years in Arabia after his conversion . You can read about in Galatians . 1.17 . According 2 Cor . 12 Paul was caught up into paradise , and received revelations from God. There were truths that were not previously revealed , perhaps besides the types and shadows in the Old Testament . It was a secret that Paul was revealed . About this you can read about in Colossians . 1.25 to 27 . It says that Paul is serving for the dispensation of God which he is given , that is, to complete the word of God , the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations rise , but now is made manifest to his saints, to whom God would make known the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles , which is Christ among you , the hope of glory . In Eph . 3.3 ff you can read about the same. There we read that Jesus by revelation has announced Paul secret - the mystery of Christ . And what is it? Yes, it is the church . In verse 6 we read , therefore, that the Gentiles are fellow-heirs and of the same body , and partakers of his promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel. This was something completely new. Up until now had been God's message to a nation , namely Israel. The only way a Gentile could be saved was about to be circumcised . And now Paul with his message that Gentiles could be saved by grace without circumcision , without becoming Jews.
18 Only three years later I went to Jerusalem to hear more by Cephas , and I stayed with him for a fortnight . Because of the simple fact that Paul says when he went to Jerusalem , we can place this event around 36-38 AD These meetings between the brothers was of course very important , talking face to face with someone is priceless and can not be replaced by anything. 2 weeks was enough together. Furthermore, we must take the decisive congregation meeting in Jerusalem ca . 49 years : Ap . 15th Ave 1-35 . This meeting is very crucial for the evangelical freedom. If you have a little bit of Moses and of Jesus as the basis for salvation ? Paul lovfrie læresyn prevailed and are fully felt . Thanks and praise for it!
19 Some other of the apostles I visited not only James, the Lord's brother. James , Jesus ' fleshly ' brother visited him too. Historical sources describe him as a highly respected and recognized leader of the church in Jerusalem , adding that he was looked up to by both Jews and of those ( Jews and others) who became believers in Jesus .
20 God knows that what I write here is not a lie ! For Paul , this was even experienced and perceived . Through it we go through personally , we are shaped and formed , and why God lets us have personal experience , not just book knowledge.
21 Then I went to Syria and Cilicia . We find this referred to Acts 15th 36 When it was gone for some time, Paul said to Barnabas , "Let us return and visit the brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord , to see how it goes them . " 37 Barnabas wanted to take John with called Mark . 38 But Paul said that he had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not gone with them to work there, should not be included now. 39 It was so sharp between them, that they parted company . Barnabas took Mark and sailed for Cyprus , 40 but Paul chose Silas bring . So he departed after the brethren unto the grace of God. 41 He went through Syria and Cilicia , strengthening the churches .
22 churches of Christ in Judea did not know me personally. This is southern Israel where everything was happening. As the center and out from the area before Jerusalem was besieged and fell , so did the area a lot to say. The people there knew Paul , but they did not recognize him as a Christian brother and preacher.
23 They had just heard that it was said , 'He who once persecuted us, he now preaches the faith which he tried to eradicate. Acts . 9 , 26: " When he came to Jerusalem , he tried to join the disciples . But everyone was afraid of him , and believed not that he was a disciple. " But gradually it changed the church to accept Paul. Three years it took ! We must not look at closed doors and barred people as a difficulty , but our God and opportunity! When the early Christians who lived wholeheartedly with God could be wrong , how much more today with the spiritual condition we have ? And had it not been for Barnabas , they had not accepted Paul. How important is it with these kids Bases , opening up to others. But so is the other ditch again, where so many today opens up out of preachers who live in sin and doing heresy. Acts 9 26 And he came to Jerusalem , he tried to join the disciples . But everyone was afraid of him and thought he was a disciple. 27 Barnabas took him to the apostles. And he told them how Saul on the road had seen the Lord , who had spoken to him , and how in Damascus he boldly preached in Jesus' name. 28 After this he went in and out among them at Jerusalem , preaching boldly in the name . 29 He talked and debated with the Grecian Jews , but they tried to kill him . 30 When the brothers found out , they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him off to Tarsus . 31 Then had the churches rest throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria. It was built and lived in fear of the Lord , and it grew , strengthened by the Holy Spirit.
24 And they glorified God because of me. Then they praised God for me. Do we not the same with Joseph and others? There we meet resistance , even of our own have with our cleansing , purification and formation process of the service , ministry and mission the Lord has for us. 1 Genesis 50 15 When Joseph's brothers saw that his father was dead , they said , "Only Joseph, now do not put us to hatred and repay us all the evil which we did to him ! " 16 So they sent word to Joseph , saying, "Your father asked us before his death, 17 that we should carry forward this commandment to you , 'Please forgive your brothers the sins and the sins they did when they carried themselves so badly that against you! So forgive us our sins now ! We also serve the God of your father . " Joseph wept when they spoke to him . 18 Then the brothers themselves and threw themselves down before him : " Here we are and will be your servants ," they said . 19 Then Joseph said to them , "Be not afraid ! Am I in the place of God ? 20 Ye thought evil against me , but God meant it for good . For he would do what now happened , and save many lives . 21 So do not be afraid ! I'll make sure you and your children. " How he comforted them and spoke kindly to them . ( end of quote ) .
Final comment :
What can we learn from this? Much ! But it is our heart to God as the basis for our selection, how God can and will use us . Without total surrender to the Lord , we will never be usable for God. And today's Norwegian and Western Christianity is dangerous for your and my spiritual life if we put it to the ground. One can both belong to and serve Satan among the Norwegian Christian , just know when to keep silent and when to speak. Everything runs on words, no knowledge of morality and spirit . Scripture says we shall know each other by the Spirit , not by the flesh .
It does not matter if a TV a founder , Pastor, Prophet or Evangelist , if one lives in sin and against God's word. Always let God's word be a guide for life and learning . Everything we do, from morning until evening , throughout his life . King David confessed his sin and full restoration with God. But the wounds and scars of this would not heal , so turned all his children against him except Salamo and girls . Let's not make it harder to serve God than necessary . But living in a daily repentance and renewal, then we will get to experience being alone after having done all !
