JESUS NAME!
Acts 4. 12 And there is salvation in any other man (Jesus Christ), for there is neither any other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Jesus is an original Latin male name. It is formed from the Greek name Iesoús which is formed from the Hebrew Yeshua, meaning "God saves".
The name that the early Christians loved, used and taught! There was no other than the name of Jesus!
The scope of the name of Jesus which the early Christians used was enormous. They used the name of Jesus for everything. They prayed to God in Jesus' name. They preached in the name of Jesus, baptized in Jesus name, praying for the sick in Jesus' name and all they said and did. They did in Jesus' name.
This is from my commentaries Colossians Dispenser letter 3 16 Let the word of Christ have ample space with you, that ye may learn wisdom with and guide one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, singing for God with a grateful heart. Let the word of Christ have ample space is there, but we can refuse to open up to this as we do it with a door with a handle on the inside. The handle is actually a good or bad conscience. Do we have a good conscience, we experience God's peace, but a bad conscience or even broken loose and we have no peace of God. This is where so much good that it's just to read it with a Sela behind. Variation in song and praise. Why we should use the name of Jesus, the reason and condition for it!
Want to come with five different pages that talk about using Jesus name. Will try to shed light on why we should use the name of Jesus. That we do not do it haphazardly or as a mantra, but understand the meaning and importance of doing so:
1. ) We should pray in Jesus' name. It said Jesus too, but why in his name? The main reason for this is that all people are sinners and unworthy in ourselves. But through Jesus, his justice, holiness and recognition us part. This is wonderful. Imagine that you had minus the account, but had been allowed to use its one billion names. When did you have of course been covered up your debt and you could add on so you could have one million standing there. So it is with us. Everything that Jesus did, that we participate in when we use his name within its Father. It is this courage we should not throw away. 2) Preaching in Jesus' name. When we preach in Jesus' name, it is as if Jesus himself preached. Of course we are not Jesus, but we preach in his name and when he has such promised to confirm the word. And we are when his messengers, just as Jesus was the Father's envoy. We have the right to expect the same results and the same throughout the team. Of course we are limited, but the message we preach is not limited. It is just as unlimited, wonderful and great as Jesus was. And we proclaim in song, through both the written and spoken words. The name of Jesus The name Jesus never fade, wasting one of the test of time. The name Jesus is eternal, nothing can destroy it. It has a message to young, old, healthy shoots more shots. It has the ability to gather all souls to God. The name of Jesus I love, it has set my soul on fire. By any name, I found salvation, nothing can save. Jesus name, how beautiful it sounds! Let it resound above the Earth. No other world brings hope and comfort that this word. For the name must give way to hating, the name must be evil planes. 3) The early Christians baptized in Jesus' name - not the three titles that probably is a Catholic forgery of Matthew - but ruled out in the name of Jesus. It is in Jesus, we have our identity, not someone else or in a church or denomination. There was no minister who died for us, but Jesus. This is why baptism is an association with him in all parts. Because one is baptized into Christ. Rooms. 6. 3 Or do you not know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We are baptized into Christ. It is the main essence of baptism. That the way Jesus did, we symbolize to be baptized. When we are baptized in a partially incorrect manner. So we have not lost the most important, to be baptized into Christ. His death, burial and resurrection. Rom.6.4. We were therefore buried with him by baptism into death, that just as Christ was erect from the dead through the glory of the Father, so also we should walk in new life. 5 For we have become united with Him by the likeness of his death, we will certainly be so by the similarity of his resurrection. The fact that we in baptism symbolizes that we are in the same life as Jesus. To live in seclusion for the world and live for God. This I did with full conviction when I was baptized at age 17. The baptism has had a decisive influence, even if they were words that act on me was not 100% in accordance with God's word. I was baptized by immersion into Christ fill the faders, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Note that I was baptized into Christ. It is the essence. 4) Heal the sick in Jesus' name. Jesus announced that the wound is healing for everyone to get. Therefore, and we have allowed to be bold and brave when we pray for people. Everything has taken on Jesus at Calvary. Our sin, disease and statutory requirements and bid. Everything was nailed there and blame the letter that was written against us was nailed there. But he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe: In My name they will cast out demons, they shall speak with new tongues, and they will take snakes in their hands. If they drink deadly poison, it shall not hurt them, AND WHEN SUBMITTING YOUR HANDS ON THE SICK, THE THE GET FRESH "! Ap.g. 4.30: "Stretch out your hand, so there's healings and signs and wonders, by your holy servant Jesus' name." God has given us promises in His word. Whoever believes in Jesus and are baptized it should be saved. And when we lay hands on sick, they shall be HEALTHY. But, as it says in Acts 4, 30; we must reach out your hand and receive healing. Many of them are, unfortunately, passive and believe that God can not or will heal them, but He can, if we stretch out his hand to him. We are many faithful Christians who can testify to God's healing and under. This can all enjoy. And it's so easy; accept Jesus as your savior and master, and stretch out your hand, and receive all the good that God has for you!
5) Everything we do pray for the day, asking for food. Everything, what do we do in Jesus' name. We are his representatives and his messengers here in this world. So is it to do that we "imitate" Jesus. Just as Jesus lived, we live. As Jesus prayed, please. As Jesus spoke, we are speaking. We are like he is in this world. No more or less, but as he is. Is aware that this is impossible for us in our own strength and in our own abilities. But through and through God's own spirit can and it is possible to live as Jesus lived in this world. All that Jesus did, he did in and by the Holy Spirit. So also we live, to love and be! John. AD 13 34 A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another, as I have loved you, be ye also love one another. 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. Notice what Jesus says. That we should love as he loved. Not in a different way or less, but which he loved. All this we can succeed and get to only focus and the main attention is against him, and no other!
