Nr. 117: Satan, who is he and what is his purpose?

Nr. 117:

Satan, who is he and what is his purpose?

Where did Satan come from? It's in the Bible, Revelation 12:7-9, TLB. ? Then there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon. Dragon fought with his angels, but was defeated, and they could no longer have a place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down-that ancient serpent called the devil or Satan, who deceives the whole world: he was cast down to earth and his angels with him.? This will happen during the great tribulation of Satan which is now in the air the sky, will also physically to the earth.

Eph. 2. 2 You lived at your current world view and let you lead the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who now works in the disobedient.

Was Satan created sin? No, he was created perfect, with full freedom to choose between good and evil in his own life. It's in the Bible, Ezekiel 28:15. ? From the day you were born, you were blameless, until it was found wrong with you.?

What was it that caused Satan's fall? It's in the Bible, Ezekiel 28.17. ? Your beauty made you proud, and because you were so brilliant, you wasted your wisdom.?

Satan, known as Lucifer before he sinned, to be equal with God. It's in the Bible, Isaiah 14:12-14, TLB. ? How you are fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the morning! That you are thrown to the ground, who triumphed over the nation! It was you who said to yourself? To heaven, I will rise up, high above the stars of God I get my throne. I will take things the mountains to the north. I will ascend above the highest heavens and be like the Most High.?

Notice that Satan would be the same as the Trinity claims, be equal with God. It was here that Jesus says in his preeksistens when Satan fell. Jesus was "pleased" to been under the Father but Lucifer would be the highest equal and take his place.

1 \ 3 of the angels fell with him. They are now fallen angels who have evil spirits under him again so that it is a form of hiraki and balance of power in Satan's kingdom. The evil spirits can be children of the fallen angels, therefore, they are subordinate to the fallen angels. The fallen angels also had children with people the children in the beginning of mankind, the angels \ people talking about Peter's in custody until Judgement Day.

So what is his purpose?

The devil is a murderer and a liar? It's in the Bible, John 8.44. ? You have your father the devil, and you will do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not the truth, there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks from his own: for he is a liar and the father of lies.

He can not stand the truth as it really is. He works to manipulate and deceive the people so that they can get the same vertical and some like him, to be burned up in the lake of fire is the second death.

I have seen Satan once

Once I saw Satan in a dream. He looked awesome and with two large wings and a cloak over him and he looked like a \ 3 man, 1 \ 3 as a prehistoric animals and 1 \ 3 as a fallen angel but much larger and more terrifying, he was leaning forward as a elderly gentleman who speaks that he is old and has been a struggle and never good. His main weapon is to play on fear, so he was formidable and spreading fear. The Bible says do not be afraid or related to it 365 times, once for each day!

He is defeated at the cross and will be destroyed in the lake of fire!

From Wikipedia:? Satan (שָׂטָן, the standard Hebrew Satan, Greek, Latin Satan, Aramaic שִׂטְנָא, which means "adversary") is an angel, demon or undergud in many religions. Satan plays multiple roles in the Hebrew Bible and New Testament. In the Hebrew Testament we read that Satan doubts the integrity of men against God, and therefore exposes them to try (for example, the sample in the book of Job). In the New Testament, Satan is portrayed as an evil, rebellious demon who is God's and humanity's enemy.

In modern religions and mythologies, Satan is also viewed as an entity that is the cause of all evil in the world, the evil essence.
Satan's many names: Satan is mentioned in the Bible as a fallen angel. His real name is not mentioned (Lucifer), but he described the titles as

Devil (Latin: Diábolus, Diaboli, which means "slanderer") - as distinct from a devil, which is one of many (Matt. 4:1)
Beelzebub or Beelsebul (directly translated: Lord of the Flies) (Matthew 10:25)
Belial or Belial (2 Cor. 6:15)
The old serpent (Rev. 12:9)
The great dragon (Rev. 12:9)
The world's first (John 14:30)
Tempter (Matthew 4:3)
The ruler of the demons (Matthew 12:24)
The father of lies (John 8:44)
Lucifer (the name means "bearer of light", is taken from Isa. 2:12 p.m. in the Latin Vulgate translation, the Bible does not associate the name of Satan, but the king of Babylon)
In addition, the following names, which are not taken from the Bible:

Dark Prince
Mephistopheles
Hin Håle
Devil
Some popular names highlights the conception of Satan as an evil figure:

Deil (medieval name for the lads to the executioner)
Ugly
Ugly Man
Blackie
Bad Man
Hinnmannen
The devil
Tykje
Lucifer is a name that is associated with the devil through popular culture in recent times, under the influence of John Milton. In some writings in the Talmud and Kabbalah is Satan sometimes called Sammael. In some Jewish works, it says that Sammael is a kind of separate angel. Researchers within angelologi and demonology believe, however, that these different names refer to a number of different angels.

Satan Islamist Islam is Iblis (Arabic إبليس) evil. The evil is often mentioned in the Quran by the name Shaitan, or al-Shaitaan. Iblis is mentioned 11 times, whereas Shaitan is mentioned 87 times. He is the evil leader and his personality has certain similarities with Lucifer in Christianity. He should have refused to bow to Adam on God (Allah) commanded, and rebelled against God and was cast out of heaven, and was from then known as Shaitan.
Biblical description of Satan: The Bible describes Satan as a spirit (Job chapter 1 and 2). Since he called "the ruler of the demons," it's obviously a lot of other evil spiritual beings who follow him.

The Bible does not give the impression that Satan was created as an evil person, then 5 Mos. 32:4 says about the Creator: "He is the Rock, His works are perfect, righteous all his ways. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he. "Satan was probably created as a great spiritual creature with free will, but that he later developed a strong desire to be worshiped instead of God. James 1:13-15 says, "When tempted, should say: 'God is tempting me." For God can not be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. Anyone who is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. When desire has conceived, brings forth sin and when sin is ripe, brings forth death. "

Since Satan means "adversary" and the devil means "detractors", then it is likely that this is Satan's original name, but that is something he has been in retrospect. The Bible does not say anything about Satan's original name.

In the Hebrew Bible, we understand better Satan as an evil spirit creature, than the personification of evil. He is described as an angel who works to find fault with men, and whose primary aim is to oppose God and His representatives on earth.

1. Chron. 21:1 - "Satan stood up against Israel and incited David to hold the census in the country."
Luke. 4:13 - "When the devil had finished tempting him in every way, he kept away from him for a time."
Since the word Satan means "adversary" is the word also used in the general meaning of anyone who opposes another:

2. Sam. 7:22 p.m. - "But David said," What do you have to do with this, Zeruiah, sons, since you are against me today? "
