Nr. 119:
The evil is angry, but he has no power over the believer!
Psalm 76 11 Although human anger turns to praise for you, anger ends with solemnity.
According to this verse is the wicked wrath one day turned to praise of Almighty God. For a moment it will be: tongues of those who do evil will only be able to recognize and worship the Lord!
My question regarding this verse is: where does the "people's anger" from? Just at this time is a fierce, intense anger about to wrap around the world, something that man does not in itself especially are able to do much with. And this anger manifests itself in many different ways. Think about it: Radical Islam, let his mighty wrath loose on all who refuse to bow down to Allah.
In North Korea threatens an angry, demon possessed dictator around the world, while he exerts brutal oppression and starvation diet by his own people.
In the Middle East has all the nations have been the devil's tool to try to destroy Israel.
In Europe and the United States is the wrath of those who hate and despise the name of Jesus about to increase.
And finally there is the wrath of the wicked who have given themselves over to their sins. The race in his attempt to throw off the sovereignty of God once and for all. A proverb I going to say Rage is short-lived madness.
When I think of these manifestations of people's anger during this time, then it dawns on me that they are not human in nature. There is no doubt about it: they are totally satanic. The Bible gives us these verses to prove it:
The apostle John writes as he speaks about the last days: "But woe to the earth and sea for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time." (Revelation 12:12).
Jesus said to those who raced against him: "You have your father the devil, and you will do after their father's desires." (John 8:44). In this verse Christ identifies the source of such rage: It's not just from the people, but come directly from Satan himself.
According to these passages it is we are facing today nothing less than a demonic anger, governed from hell. It is not just a political anger, not just a personal rage, not just talk about Islam against Israel. It is much worse than that.
The Psalmist takes up this phenomenon when he confused asks: "Why Larmer Gentiles, and why the people on the grounds that it is futile? Kings of the earth, and princes take counsel together against the Lord and against his anointed" (Psalm 2:1-2) .
Everything is a demonic anger directed at God and His Son, Jesus Christ. And the various characters that anger does get stronger and stronger. Right now, we see Christ's words unfold before us on the world stage: Satan's children do indeed your father's desires.
1. Think of the world-wide rage of Islam and other pagan religions that try to establish their gods as sovereign rulers of the earth.
Islamic imams calling for a worldwide fatwa against those who refuse to worship their false God. In a demonic fury promises of Christ enemies literally their weapons and command the masses: "Bow down before our God, or die." Saudi Arabia amuse people by showing the executions of people who think differently. It is appalling conditions.
But none of this satanic fury is new. We see example after example of such a demonic madness throughout history. In Daniel 3 we read that King Nebuchadnezzar stood an idol of gold in Babylon and demanded that it should be worshiped. All officers, managers and residents of Babylon over a hundred provinces had either fall down in front of this god or die. There were two choices, bend or burn. If someone refused to worship Nebuchadnezzar's idol, they would be roasted alive in large ovens.
After the injunction was issued, there were three devout young Jews in the kingdom who refused to bend. Nebuchadnezzar took them in fury in front of him and commanded to know: "And who is the god who can save you from my hand?" (Dan 3:15). Here are their answers: "Our God whom we serve, he is mighty to save us. By the burning fiery furnace and from your hand, O king, he will save." (Dan 3:17).
The reaction from the demo inspired the king was predictable: "Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and ... commanded that the furnace was made seven times hotter than usual." (Dan 3:19). It was a purely demonic hatred against God. The truth is that anyone standing for Christ can expect such a rage against him. Their obedience is always whipping up anger at those who are led by Satan.
So what was the outcome? Whose God was that which prevailed in Babylon? In the middle of this trial revealed Jesus his glory and power. When King Nebuchadnezzar looked into the red-hot stove, he was shocked by what he saw. He shouted: "We threw three men into the oven, but I see four men. The loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and there is no harm to look at them. They behave in fact as if the roaring flames are not there. And the fourth is like the Son of God. " (Daniel 3:25, my paraphrase).
When Jesus shows up is game over. His enemies have to bow to him. Right now we are seeing history repeat itself.
Today, Islam is a kind of Babylon with crazy leaders like King Nebuchadnezzar. This religion is threatening the world with the requirement to worship their god, Allah. Terrorist organizations of Islamic support requires: "Submit yourselves to God, or we will blow up planes theirs. We will bomb their cities, trains, buses and subways. We will kidnap you, torture you and cutting off their heads. Allah will rule the world. Islam will prevail. "
When we see these demonic forces, we should again turn to the story of Nebuchadnezzar and the three faithful servants. It tells us that during one hour of the Lord came down and rescued his servants - and that changed everything. Everything was different then the Lord revealed his power, and got the king to shout:
"Blessed be the (three men) God, He sent His Angel and delivered His servants who put their trust in him and acted against the king. They risked their lives not to cultivate or worship any god except their own God." Instantly issued Nebuchadnezzar a new commandment: "... who in their words heir own peculiar strengths against (these three men) God - he will cut in pieces, and his house be made into a scrap pile. For there is no other god powers to save as. " (Dan 3:28-29).
Let us now return to the Psalmist who asked why the heathen raging against God. According to him, God responds in such wrath in this way: "He who sits in heaven laughs. The Lord mocks them. So he speaks to them in his wrath, in his great anger terrified he them." (Psalm 2:4-5).
The Lord Himself declares then: "It is I who have established my king on Zion ... You are my Son, I have begotten you today!" (Psalm 2:6-7). Islamists and other pagan religions can hope to establish their gods as kings to rule the world. But God says: "I have already inserted my Son, Jesus Christ, the Messiah, as King of heaven and earth. He is even now the Lord of all."
Father says it himself: Jesus reigns as Lord. What is the world's reaction to this?
2. There is a growing rage and anger in the hearts of evil men who target the name of Jesus.
Throughout the world, rises a red-hot rage against God's Word. The Bible is despised, mocked and cursed by wicked men. I ask you: What is it with Jesus' name that crops up such anger only being mentioned? No name is so despised around the world. But there is salvation in no other name than his: "And there is salvation in no one else. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12).
We know that the name of Jesus has always been hated by evil men. But now this hatred passed to a demonic rage. The name of Christ are slowly and imperceptibly removed from society, the lawmakers in nations around the world. Why is there such a rage against the Son of God? Why tremble evil men when his name is mentioned? It is because of the name represents: Christ means deliverance from sin. It means freedom from sin's dominion. It means death to the old, fallen, Adamic nature, and a transition to a new life. This means the power to forsake and deny all ungodly lusts and pleasures.
But you see, that those who love the rides do not want to give up his sensual life. Paul says of them: "These people love not only their sins, but they fully understand that God's verdict is against the adulterers, adulterers, sexual deviation. And yet they look over those who do such things. They are gudshatere." (Romans 1:28-32).
Listen to what God has to say about this satanic wrath against his Son, his Word and his people.
According to the psalmist's attitude to the Gentiles: "Let us break their bands, and cast their cords from us!" (Psalm 2:3). Translated into modern language it is: "Come on now, we can no longer us in condemnation from the Bible. We will not allow this slavery of Jesus to stop us. We will introduce legislation that will break all the old moral chains. We will demand our right to marriage between two men and two women. We are going to fight for rights for all sorts of sexual deviations. We need to break down all the old moral boundaries. We will take the moral country and remain there. "
My Bible tells me what will happen in such a time. When evil people's anger sets out to overthrow the laws of nature - to make society into a distinguished Sodom-like hell, where every man is his own law - that is when the Lord breaks in: "So he speaks to them in his wrath, in His great anger terrified he them. " (Psalm 2:5).
The psalmist tells us: "They have their own holy standards. They have lifted up their earthly axes to chop down everything that is right. They break sacred things with axes and sledgehammers, and defiles the tabernacle of God." (See Psalm 74:4-7). So the Psalmist complains further: "How long, O God, shall the adversary reproach? Should the enemy despise thy name for ever?" (Psalm 74:10).
That is when God's word tells us that the destruction and slander that has been caused by people's anger will not last much longer: "The people's anger is the price for you. You commit to you with a greater fury." (Ps. 76:11). How will this happen? To put it simply, the more intense people's anger becomes, the more God will pour out of His grace. "But where sin increased, grace was even greater!" (Romans 5:20).
We see wonderful examples of it throughout history. Think of how Christ's church was trampled in China under communism's terrible wrath. All forms of religious activity was banned, including Buddhism, which was the leading religion of the country. A spiritual vacuum occurred that made people empty and hungry. But once the people's anger turned to God award. The Lord poured out rivers of grace in China and an underground church grew up across the nation. Today counter the Chinese church tens, perhaps over one hundred million Christians, and still growing strongly. Perhaps the clearest example for me that the people's wrath is turned to praise God is the testimony of the apostle Paul. Jesus revealed himself to this great persecutor of the early church on the road to Damascus. In a single moment Paul would hate to Christ turn to God award. As a result, the world of today has changed.
Even now we can see that Hezbollah is facing the wrath of God price. How? Muslims in Lebanon fled the war in Jordan and Syria, where many were greeted by Christians. When these believers showed Christ's unconditional love for the refugees, and gave them shelter and food, then melted the hearts of these rights in dealing Muslims. They are now more open to the gospel than ever.
Through all these examples, I see the Lord answer the psalmist's cry: "Arise, O God: Before your case, remember that fool mocks you all day! Do not forget your enemies, voice, noise that always rises from your opponents!" (Psalm 74:22-23).
3. Finally, there is a growing satanic wrath against every devoted follower of Christ.
I believe that Satan's messengers have been identified for every God-fearing person, and are required to harass and weary them every day. If you grow closer to the Lord that you will face the full wrath of a raging fiend.
But it is a way to turn Satan's wrath against yourself for God's appreciated. In fact, we are not unprotected targets or helpless infants. We have weapons and resources that are mighty to tear down satanic strongholds. What is our strongest weapon? It is the Almighty God's promises.
Scripture tells us: "... Resist the devil and he will flee from you." (James 4:7). You may ask, "But how I stand against the enemy?" You do it by feeding you with God's promises and causes them to become part of your being, and call upon them when you are between two fires and cite them for the devil. Here is just one example of such a promise:
"Behold, they shall become a reproach and shame, all those angry at you. They shall be cut off and perish, the men who contend with you. You shall seek them and not find them, the men who quarrel with you . They shall be cut off and nothing, the men who wage war against you. For I am the Lord your God, that keeps you stuck in your right hand and says to you: Fear not: for I will help you. " (Isaiah 41:11-13).
Think about it: if addicts were freed from their habits ... if murderous people were transformed and made new creatures in Christ ... if homosexual prostitute and was given a testimony that nothing is impossible with Christ, that they could miraculously be set free ... if God's love could now incorrigible gang of criminals ... when his love to break any slave link. Is it strange that Satan's anger was so aroused? Sinful people's rage against Christ and his church will never diminish. And there are also a rage inside of the church when it is false brethren and false apostles and prophets that prevails because many places!
No given amount of compromise, love and tolerance will ever satisfy this demonic wrath. It will actually only get worse, much worse. Just at this moment is the strength with increasing political power, seeking international positions and are elected.
In areas of the EU and elsewhere in the world it is now illegal to preach Christ with the freedom we enjoy in Norway. Much evangelieforkynnelse is called a "crime" and "prejudice." I fear that there will come a day when the same is the case in Norway? In Spain and other Catholic countries it is difficult to set up a house of God where one is not Catholic, what freedom and democracy?
King David was overwhelmed by the spirit of Gudshat that characterized his time. He cried out to the Lord: "See my enemies, for they are many. They hate me with violent hatred." (Psalm 25:19). Likewise, says Psalm 124:2-3: "... Had not the Lord been with us since people stood up against us, they would have swallowed us alive when their anger burned against us."
The Psalmist David expresses what many in the church feel today. At times it seems that we are powerless to resist the evil forces gathering against us. Even our legal system is involved in rush our community closer and closer to the gates of hell. I can not believe how morality in our country day by day being trampled in the dirt.
Will the Lord allow this anger against him and his church to continue, until our society becomes like Sodom, where every man is his own law? No, never! Right now we experience the Lord's immense patience. He will bring justice, but all his judgments are redemptive purposes. Isaiah gives us a wonderful picture of this:
"I am the Lord, that is my name. I do not give anyone my honor and the carved images my price. The thing that is preached in the past, behold, they have come. And now I declare new things. Before they spring forth I tell you of them.
The Lord shall go forth as a giant, like a warrior he will stir up anger. He shall cry, yea, roar. Towards his enemies he will show his power. I have kept silent from ancient times. I spoke not, I held myself back. Now I want to scream like a woman in labor, I will breathe and snort. Blind I will bring on a road they do not know. In paths that they did not know about, I will let them go. Darkness in front of them I will do to light and crooked things straight. These are things I want to do, I will assuredly do not let it be.
Ye deaf, hear! And you blind, close your eyes and see! "(Isaiah 42:8-9, 13-14, 16, 18).
Beloved, the divine grace of Isaiah describes transformed Saul the persecutor to Paul the Apostle. The same grace raised up a church with multiple million members in Communist China. The sending Muslim refugees into the arms of the devoted servants of Christ. God indeed pours out his saving grace in this endetid.
We will not annoy us of the kind that Satan appears to win. The battle we are in an eternal battle. And the gates of hell will not prevail against Christ's Church. Our Father has declared it: Jesus reigns even now as King!
Finally, what is Satan's greatest weapon? Fear!
What is God's most powerful weapon? We read in Romans 14 17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Kingdom of God where Jesus is King, Lord and Savior encourages peace, joy, love and justice, in stark opposition to Satan's kingdom where fear, intransigence, bitterness and hatred prevails. Which kingdom you have chosen to belong? The election can not I take you, you must take yourself. I can only urge you to choose the kingdom of God and the Lord Jesus Christ!
A word of encouragement to those who choose God's kingdom. Satan will try again and again to make you paralyzed with fear! What do you do?
Pray and proclaim Jesus' victory in every situation and sites promises,
Do not give in to fear in some circumstances, there is fear of not being married before Jesus comes again and get to experience having a child and family, it can be a form of fear that drives you to do crazy things, to choose entirely wrong in so important a question as it is to choose a life partner. It can get very bad outcomes.
Isaiah 54 17 The weapon formed against you,
should fail, all of them.
Each complaint will be filed against you,
should be able to refute.
It is the vertical servants of the Lord is,
the right I give them, saith the Lord.
Something better promise than what exists not want you to have victory and gain victory in every situation. A tape can sometimes seem like a Christian, but not the end! When we win the victory. Why?
Micah 7 8 Enjoy not over me, my enemy;
for fall I, I stand up again.
And I sit in darkness, the Lord is my light.
9 Lord's anger must I bear
because I have sinned against him,
to he in turn will cause my cause
and make sure I get right.
He will lead me into the light,
and I will see his righteousness.
10 My enemies will see it and blush of shame,
those who said to me: "Where is the Lord your God?"
I'll follow them with your eyes
when they stepped down as waste in the street.
11 One day your walls are built up
and your limits vides out.
If I or you fall as a believer, then we are back up. Quote these promises to yourself and the victory is always present, even here on this earth. Do not let fear or other circumstances and things that go against you have overcome and overpower you, but let the love of God and Jesus always be the advice for you in every situation, every day, every week, month. and the rest of their lives, Hallelujah!
Never let the fear overwhelm you in a few situations in life, it is Satan's primary weapons that we will lose it, get out of God's will and do something over the ile! Are you young and have not found a life companion, God is in control. Is there a boss at work who find it incredible, God is in control. Is there no church to find bread, God has the full control and overview. Add yourself and all life's situations in the hand of God, everything will be turned to good and you as a believer will always prevail and be overcome, because God is on your side.
The Psalmist writes, "For human anger is the price for you." (Ps. 76:11).
This plan has God revealed the people through His servants and prophets. God chose a people for himself, he made a covenant with them and gave them the law that contained a model of the things that he would let come in the fullness of time. The law and the prophets testified of the Messiah whom God would send, he would bring reconciliation and redemption for all those who had put their trust in him. The law and the prophets testified about how Jesus would come and full of all legal requirements and to ultimately bring out the ultimate sacrifice for the sins of the world, that the annual sacrifice after the law was a model of. Jesus was sacrificed as a blemish-free sacrifice for the sins and by faith in Him should all the people get salvation and reconciliation with God.
And just as God had testified through his Word, in the fulness of times he sent his son, the savior, to our earth. Jesus was born of a virgin, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit. Jesus walked the earth and did great signs and wonders, and he preached again the message that God through His servants the prophets had preached provided, the Son of man should die as a sacrifice for the sins of the world, but he would rise again by the power of God.
The time was approaching this wonderful climax in Jesus' ministry. It was Palm Sunday and Jesus made his entry into Jerusalem. Most of the people began to believe that he really was the Messiah whom God had promised them, and they accepted him as a king. They spread out their garments on the road, they also cleared branches and strewed them on the road and went before and after him, and shouted, "Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest ". The majority of the people received him as their king and Messiah. But it was not many days before this enthusiasm and joy was replaced by murder and betrayal.
It took a few days, Jesus preached the kingdom of God, he preached his death and resurrection. He preached about the coming thing. He preface to his disciples all assumed that they would believe it when it happened.
The hour was approaching and Jesus dreaded. He knew what was in store for him. All the sins of the world would be on him and he would be hit by all of God's wrath for man's sake. For my sake and for your sake. The innocent should be judged guilty.
Jesus takes with him three of his disciples to pray. He began to sorrow and distress. Evangelist Matthew writes about what happened:
Matt. 26, 38-46: "Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death; car here and watch with me! And he went a little forward, fell on his face and prayed saying, My Father! Is it possible, let this cup pass me by! However, not as I will, but as you want! And he comes to the disciples and found them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, What, were you not able to watch one hour with me! Watch and pray, that I shall not enter into temptation! The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Again he went a second time away, prayed, saying, My Father! Can not go past me, except I drink it, Thy will be done! And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy. And he left them and went away again and prayed the third time and spoke the same words. When he came to the disciples and said to them: In other words, sleep and rest yourselves! See the hour is near when the Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of sinners: Stand up, let's go! See, he is close to that betrays me. "
Luke writes about the same event in 22 chapter, verses 43-44:
"And an angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. And he was in agony and prayed earnestly, and his sweat became like drops of blood, which fell to the earth. "
Jesus was alone in his agony. The disciples who were to watch and pray with him asleep. This was the enthusiastic young men who were well accustomed to hard work as fishermen. They had NOK watched many a night before, but now they were not able to do so. It must have been an extremely difficult time there in the Garden of Gethsemane.
Jesus was alone. He saw into the wrath of the cup that would be his to part when all the world's sins, infirmities and diseases were put on him. His sweat became blood; Jesus was fully human, was about to succumb to human seen in that Gets Mana. There was an angel and strengthened him there that he would not die. Jesus was not come to die Gets Mana, but he was nailed to a cross on Calvary. Therefore the angel strengthening him. He received no additional strength to clear Calvary Administration, but he had physical strength to still be alive.
Betrayer Judas and the crowd that followed him came and Jesus was taken into custody. He gave himself into their custody voluntarily because he knew that this was what he had come to our world. All the disciples left him and Jesus was left alone led to the high priest's house.
Through the false accusations, Jesus was sentenced guilty. The people who only a few days earlier had accepted him as their Messiah and King, calling now, Crucify! Korstfest! People would rather have a murderer set free, than to let the innocent Jesus live. And they got what they wanted.
Jesus was crucified on Calvary with the evildoers. He was beaten, mocked and derided. And now he was then nailed to a cross to hang there until he died.
Jesus talked about throughout his ministry God as Father, My Father. The relationship between him and the Father were clarified; God was the Father, and Jesus was the Son. But when Jesus was crucified on Golgotha, this relationship for a time ended. God's wrath struck Jesus with full force. All of our sins, infirmities and diseases were loaded on Jesus and God had to let his anger overcome him. Jesus could no longer get his strength from his Father, he had to zone sin alone. The prophet Isaiah says about this (53, 5): "But he was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities, the punishment was upon him, that we should have peace, and by his stripes we are healing." And again in verse 10: "Yet it pleased the Lord to crush him .."
In about the sixth hour there was darkness over the whole country and this lasted until the ninth hour. For three hours between the hours of 12 and 15 there was darkness over the whole country. Following the laws of nature, it was impossible with a solar eclipse as it always was full moon of Easter. It was as if nature dressed in mourning over what happened. The sun ceased to shine as the light went out.
In this dark moment, Jesus was separated from his Father. He cried out with a loud voice, "Eli! Eli! Lama sabachthani? It is: My God! My God! Why have you forsaken me? "The people acknowledged by giving him vinegar to drink. Jesus had to fight there on the cross alone, while the people stood and mocked him. But Jesus was the fight out. When he had received the vinegar, he said. "It is finished. And finally, he cried with a loud voice, Father! In your hands I commit my spirit. And when he had said this, he breathed. "
Relationship with God was again the Father - Son relationship as it always had been. Sin was served, the sentence was completed and Jesus won salvation for all people.
The veil of the temple was rent. This curtain was in the temple of God used to distinguish between the Holy and the Most Holy. The high priest was only once a year go into the Holy of Holies, and then only with the sacrifice for the sins of the people. This action had to be repeated each year that the victim could not zone people's sins, but was performed as an image on the next thing. When Jesus won the victory and death at Calvary, he went as our high priest into the truly most holy to himself and his blood sacrifice. This sacrifice was big NOK to atone the sins, infirmities and diseases - thus torn curtain. Jesus had consecrated us a new and living way through the veil, it is his flesh. Jesus is our High Priest and he has consecrated the way to the truly most holy.
Centurion who stood by the cross and saw what happened, and heard Jesus cry out just before his death, gave glory to God and said, Truly this man was righteous. By nature it would not be possible for a man who was crucified for several hours, to shout out anything just before his death. One such person is so impaired that no exclamation is impossible, but Jesus had won the victory, and he could cry. The captain took this as proof of the righteousness of Jesus.
When Jesus had entered his spirit in his Father's hands, he went in the spirit down to the devil and took from him the keys of death and Hades. He brought all those from the creation of the world had faced death in the faith of God's salvation, all from the first righteous Abel, and unto the repentant sinner who was crucified at Jesus' side and asked for a thought. Jesus took them all out of Abraham's bosom and over to Paradise, where they are now just waiting for his return. Jesus could proclaim his victory, Hallelujah!
When he had done this to him by God's power to stand up again on the third day. He appeared to His disciples, and he appeared on one occasion for more than five hundred brethren at once. There are many witnesses to his resurrection. They testified boldly about this despite the fact that they risked being murdered for their testimony. This was not the witnesses, who were carried away by a oppisket mood to testify about the adventure. No, they knew they would be persecuted and many of them would be murdered by a witness, but they could not help but talk about the things they had witnessed. Praise the Lord!
Jesus is risen. He has taken the place of the Father's right hand in heaven. The victory is won. Salvation road is clear and everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
