Nr. 533:

How to walk a life in the Spirit and remain standing after having done all!? Part 1

Part 1

After I was baptized in the Holy Spirit, God's word has been my most treasured possession. But not only as an exciting book, but as a guideline for both life and teachings. And how to live the new life. Believe that there are many, many thousands, yes, sure also millions who have followed the word of God and the light that God has given them in their own words. One of them that I think really has followed the Lord's apostle Paul, but many others with him. One of his closest associate and who stood with him in the service and which Paul handed "staff-stick" was to Timothy. How he looked we do not know, but here's a thought picture of him.

Here are a few pages or points on how to get the experience and "get" a walk in the Spirit. Or as I write the headline: "How wander a life in the Spirit and be standing after having done all!?».

1) A holy will of decision, without it, no chance to win and to walk in the Spirit!

Daniel 1 8 But Daniel set their faces that he would not defile themselves with the royal food and the wine he drank, and he asked the chief of the eunuchs that he might be free so as to be defiled.

We notice that Daniel was not a big Spirit of God and man when he met King Nebuchadnezzar, Belshazzar the king, lions and Medes Darius. The basis for the Daniel was his good intentions and that he took the will-be voids that were always in overstemmelse with the word of God, unless God had revealed it to him. He read God's word, believed it and acted on it. Therefore, he could stand up again. And pointing to Jesus and God as the one who has the solution to everything, and no one else. But it began with a will-decision, "

2) Know and knowing that one is loved by God.

1 Joh.b. 4 9 In this was manifested the love toward us, because that God sent his only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

All we are doing must have a starting point, a road and a goal. The basis for the Christian life is that you and I and all are loved by God. Love by God is that He loved us long before we had thought about it. We also read the same thing in Romans 5 6 For while we were still helpless, Christ died for the ungodly appointed time. 7 For scarcely man will one die for a just - for one who is good customer maybe some take him to die - 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that Christ died for us while we were yet sinners.

It can not be said stronger than this, what we face here in God's word. This is a love that the Bible describes as Agape - the love of God.

Agape is a Greek word and is used in the NT the love God has for us humans, the divine love. In the NT used the fact several words for "love". Although we in the Norwegian language only have this one, there are nuances here, which focuses on the Bible. Eros is the erotic love, love in a man - woman relationship. Agape is divine and unconditional love, that love without having earned it.

Filio used for love of inclination and sympathy, the caring love based on friendship or kinship. So this love that we are able to love with. How we love our parents, siblings and friends. But God's love, courage and to us is agape. He loved us long before there was someone and something to love. And love even if the "something" rising against him. His love surpasses everything and everyone.

Could have still so much longer here, but basically for us. If we are to be saved, possessing a service or reach other. We aim heavens and the new Jerusalem, it is located in the bottom and as a starting point for all; God's boundless and immense love for us all!

3) We believe and expect the Lord to come and that we must give account accordingly. It works and encourages us to live in the Spirit, and remain standing after having done everything.

1 Jn. 3 See what love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God and we are. Therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2 Beloved now we are children of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like Him, for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.

2 Cor. 5 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether good or evil. 11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men, but to God we are open, and I hope and made manifest in your consciences.

There are those who do not realize that I am so careful with my own law. What I believe and teach what signals I give out and who I associate with. All this is with the aim that one day I shall not only be saved, which is the most important and biggest. But also must give account for my life as a Christian.

I have eg. not wanting to warn against anything, but if I do not fall that blood upon me based on Ezekiel 33 and many other passages speak of this.

And how I live and walk as a Christian? And how to live and walk you as a believer? It is this that is an incentive in my life, and when you also get an understanding and clarity in this. So it will behave the same way in your life.

It says in 1 John. 3 of the Lord come: "Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure." What hope is this talk about? Jesus come to fetch the bride and those who are ready to his house. It should and it does so for us that we will more than live please God.

Thinking about these things, or are you not aware of this?

To hear about how horrible Muslims are different and do not work either for salvation or sanctification. It is only preaching based on the word of God and that people get an understanding of these things, nothing else.

Professor Ole Hallesby called Second Coming "Centre of Christian hope", because here one touches the deepest and finest in the believer's expectation. Put in biblical imagery: It is the bride who awaits her husband. Now it's been said that the return of Jesus (Christ's 2nd Coming) should be mentioned 260 times in the Old Testament and 319 times in the New Testament. With the exception of Galatians and the letter to Philemon is the return of Jesus mentioned in every book of the New Testament. While the Apostle Paul for example. reviews baptism 13 times he touches the coming of Jesus no less than 50 times. The message of the coming of Jesus received the first Christians with joy, therefore, had a different sound, its own freshness among the friends of Jesus in the apostolic time than is the case today. We ask for the cause of the contraction of the end-time ministry, I find more answers and will mention two: Firstly, we find priests and preachers tend both indifference and silence what eschatological preaching concerns. We meet the priest who never had time to study the Second Coming of the faculty, and we meet preachers who would argue that they have no gifts to preach the recent times. "I leave that to the specialists," was the one that stated. Then experience one of the great meetings that Jesus' return is rarely preached. It fits somehow not in the intellectual currents of today.

Judgment Seat of Christ

This I have sourced from Toralf Gilbrandt: 1 Cor 3.11 to 15, we read: "For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. But if anyone on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, then the work everyone has done, be revealed. The day shall declare it, because it is revealed in fire. How it works is that everyone has done, the fire shall try. About the edifice that one has raised, remains, he shall receive a reward. Burning up his work, he shall lose his salary. But he himself shall be saved, yet so as through fire. "

From this we see that the rapture not only speaks of a blessed hope and a delightful appetizer, Rapture is also closely related to the great reckoning when we must give responsibility before the living God.

Judgment Seat of Christ is the judgment of God. It represents a judicial action different from the great white throne judgment will take place after the Millennium. At the white throne judgment and wicked men perish, but by that time the faithful already been with the Lord for more than a thousand years. Judgment Seat of Christ is also a judicial action different from the judgment of the nations that will take place here on earth before the millennium is created. Then the King will clean out of his kingdom those who cause harm and offense - he will decide who will take part in God's kingdom to be established on earth. This judicial action applies ie people who are still alive on earth, while the judgment of the great white throne depicts the dead who stand before God after heaven and earth have passed away.

Another kind of judgment Judgment Seat of Christ is something different from both of these judgments. Christ's court is a court only for believers. It's maybe those who will object: But did not Jesus say that whoever believes in him should not come into judgment? How then can Paul say that we all shall be revealed judgment seat of Christ. Yes, both are true and correct. The believer is not condemned with the world. There is no salvation or damnation to be decided for our part, acknowledge Christ's court, there is the matter of pay or lose pay. To take an example:

There is a big difference between the judge who sits in a courtroom and judge crimes and the judge who runs with a whistle on the football pitch and judges about sports performance. The Bible tells us that believers are judged in three ways: As an increasing salvation sins were judged by our repentance, when we recognized our sins and was justified through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. In this judicial action or acquittal rests our salvation. Second, can a believer be judged as children of God or his sons during our journey through life. Paul says: "When we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord that we should not be condemned with the world." God disciplines us to lead us in recognition and that we may share in his holiness. Thirdly, we as believers be judged as servants. And it is this judgment that takes place at the Judgment Seat of Christ. God is not only our Savior and our Heavenly Father, He is also our Lord. He will require his servants to account for what he has given each one.

Settlement This judicial action is called in the Bible God's court, court of Christ, "day" that day, our Lord Jesus Christ, and in the first Epistle of John 4:17 is called the "Judgment Day" - also for the believers there will be a reckoning and judgment .

The sample before Christ's tribunal will therefore take place after the rapture. Several things suggest that it will happen quite soon after encouraging, at least, we see that before the marriage of the Lamb will be celebrated, the bride dressed in the shiny white linen is the righteousness of saints - then that is his life's work tested by God. And we find that even before the tribulation breaks loose on earth, they have 24 elders who sit on thrones before God got their money handed over. It will happen on "that day" says the apostle Paul.

When we presented judgment seat of Christ is the believer already perfected and transformed. We have reached the goal of our faith, the soul's eternal salvation. We are there for our glorious resurrection bodies. Although the pay is not yet settled, then our salvation is assured. We will also be perfected and sanctified through and through. Therefore, no attempt to justify or excuse himself any mistake in itself. We will even give God right about everything and see and judge as he does.

This decision accepts Christ court may not take place until all the believers of the old covenant and the church from time gathered there. The whole church of God must be there. There is the issue of remuneration to be determined, and the price can not be distributed until all participants have completed the course. Therefore awaits the saints who have died that we will finish our race. It's also about the saints of the old time that they may be made perfect without us. And the apostle Paul knew that he had to wait until "that day" before he could receive the crown of righteousness.

The major accounting day

This is the great reckoning for all of us. He who shall judge the Lord, the righteous judge. He shall come and fetch us to his house, and he shall settle the question of reward to his servants. It is good to know that there comes a day when the last decisive and fair words shall be said in any case. Then each of us take God accounting for themselves.

What should be judged is their faith life's work. It is in the sense not our sins to be judged, but our "work". Sin is not there because that condemnation, for it is cleaned away the blood of Jesus and we have been forgiven for it. We read that it was built on the foundation that was tested. It is our service to God to be judged. Our words and deeds should be tested. It's going to go very carefully for himself, for we read that for every idle words shall be taken account - and every cup of cold water given in love will be rewarded (end of quote).

Final comment:

This is a small article series, I think of three articles in which this is the first when the subject is so vast and comprehensive. Stay tuned, there's more to come, I hope and believe that this teaching gives you something so that your life will please God in all aspects!
