Nr. 500: What does it mean to live as a Christian and what is the Christian message?

Nr. 500:

What does it mean to live as a Christian and what is the Christian message?

2 Cor. 5 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation, the old has passed away, behold, the new has come!

Ezekiel 36 25 And I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26 I will give you a new heart and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 My spirit will I put within you: and I will do that in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them.

Who is a believer? And who is not? Here you can make many reflections, but for me a believer that accompanies the word of God in all aspects of life. It is "easy" to follow the Lord to some extent, but to have him as both Savior and Lord, then one is truly a believer. Have met many fine believers in my way, one of those who not only preaches well, but I have met Jesus in mind is with Brother Jimmy Swaggart. He is one of many that I cherish.

The Christian life should be lived out, would like to mention four different venues and areas that the Christian life should be lived out, and we need to have the victory and remain standing after having overcome all:

1) In relation to themselves. Having victory and on his own inner world.

Proverbs 25:28 Like a city whose walls are broken down and away, a man who can not control his mind. 4:32 p.m. The long-suffering is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit is better than he that taketh a city.

2) In Relation to the Church and the teachings and preachers one should lend its ear.

Rooms. 6 17 But God be thanked, that ye have been servants of sin, but ye heart's been obedient to the lesson form that I have been given over to!

3) in relation to all non-believers, that is able to socialize with wisdom, love, and by awakening confidence.

1 John 4:20 If any man say, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 4:21 And this commandment have we from him, that he who loves God must love his brother and. 4:11 Beloved God so loved us, then we also ought to love one another. 4:7 Beloved let us love one another! for love is of God: and every one that loveth is born of God and knows God. 3:18 Little children! let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth! 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on His Son Jesus Christ and love one another as he commanded us. 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we love one another,

4) In relation to this world. By being a witness and by obtaining incomings.

1 Cor. 5 8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with malice and ugudelighetssurdeig but with purity and sannhetsusyrede bread! 9 I wrote to you in my letter that I should not have intercourse with fornicators - 10 I did not mean to ordinary fornicators of this world or the greed and robbers, or idolaters, or had ye go out of the world: 11 But now I have written to you, was that I should not have intercourse with any man that is called a brother and a fornicator, or covetous person or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or robber, so I do not even eat with him. 12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge only those who are within? 13 But those who are outside, God judges. Put away the wicked man from among yourselves

1) In relation to themselves. Having the victory and the mind's own inner world.

Our biggest and most important battle arena and are in our own inner world. Here is our biggest and most important "battleground." If we win not win here, so we lose on any site. But having overcome and constantly overcome when the fight in our inner world will last a lifetime, as scripture says this additional space. I die every day, said the Apostle Paul, and we always have a battle between flesh and Spirit.

From my commentaries Galatians 5 16 I say to you Live a life in the Spirit! When you do not follow the desires of our sinful nature. What is the solution to live please God? It's him. Jesus lives through faith in our hearts. Jesus has never requested or wanted to do the will of the flesh. He lives in us and that means everything to win, hallelujah!

17 For the flesh stands with its desires against the Spirit, and the Spirit are against the flesh. The two are in conflict, so that you are not able to do what you want. As long as we are on earth and in the flesh body will be in our lives. But it will get less and less space and elbow room. But he will get bigger and bigger space and elbow room. 1 Sam. 3 1 The conflict between Saul and David were prolonged. But David grew stronger and stronger, while the house of Saul grew weaker and weaker. The fight was long but David is a picture of the new life grew stronger and stronger. While Saul is a picture of the flesh, became weaker and weaker.

18 If you are led by the Spirit, ye are not under the law. There is no law that will save us from the desire of our sinful nature, but a life in the Spirit! A life in the Spirit is so marked by love for God and fellow man that is driven by a desire to do God's will! The way to get into this life is not to be enjoined by statutes and rules, but to be enthusiastic about the love!

19 It is clear what it is that the sinful nature: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; This Paul lists here is our old fallen nature. Just let it out and you do not need to enhance it or something. Our old nature is and remains miserable and ugly. (End of quote).

2) In Relation to the Church and the teachings or preachers as to lend his ear.

Many believers overlook the importance of what they hear. They are like people living in a hamburger restaurant all my life and do not look like. We are what we eat states, so also in the spiritual realm. It is not indifferent to the preaching we sit in and listen. We become what we hear of either a good guy or a cheesy guy (read Christian). We obey the lessons form we have been committed to. I have eg. pointed remarriage among believers as important. Why is this important? It is a commandment of Jesus, Jesus and the early Christians teach that we are edified on. Therefore it is vital.

From my commentaries Ephesians 2 20 Ye are built upon the apostles and prophets the foundation, but the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. 1 Kor.3: 10 By the grace of God which is given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on, but everyone to see how he builds! For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. First, Paul tells the church is built upon the apostles and prophets foundation-which is built on Jesus Christ. No one can lay a new foundation on top of the one already there. Therefore no one will get a revelation that does not match the word of God and already find in the Word of God and the ancient writings we have. The Apostle John was caught up into heaven and saw the new Jerusalem. Joh. Revelation 21: 16 And the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. Here John sees twelve foundation stones with twelve names inscribed. -The names belong to Lamb's twelve apostles. It is among the first Christians they were and it was Paul who finally brought the word of God and the Apostle John of Revelation. All revelation since is to rediscover what God has already shown its holy men of God and women. We will not deduct anything from or add to. This is from my commentaries Colossians Dispenser Letter 1 25 I was a minister of the church by virtue of the management task God has given me with you: to complete the service of God's word, With this background he had, not least with his deep knowledge of God's word and all Jewish regulations he was ideally suited to his great mission: to complete the service of God's word. Or, as the 1930 translation, ie to complete the word of God. There were many aspects of Paul's teaching \ preaching which was revealed before he brought it to light. Among other church, the rapture of the church, gifts, service offerings and many other truths.

PROPHETS

What about prophets? Matt.11: 13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. . . -After John the Baptist ended both the law and the prophets. However,-the strange thing is that Paul says God did among other prophets in the churches. Lying Paul? No,-the explanation is to be found in the word prophet, and that an Old Testament prophet, and one from the New Testament are two different concepts. In the Hebrew language used four words of the prophet, a seer (-one who could see into the future) a mouthpiece for God - one who preached morality of the people, and the last word of a false prophet. In the New Testament used a word that means to expound divine will in an inspired way, and to comfort, - encourage or exhort. 1 Corinthians 14:3: But he who prophesies speaks to men, to edification, exhortation and comfort. Those who call themselves prophets today,-believe themselves to be the kind of prophet who can see the future, and getting direct revelations from God. Let me explain exactly what I mean and what I do NOT mean that there should be any doubt. When the Holy Spirit guide you in your personal life - this is a prophecy in the New Testament context. This has never ceased. The New Testament prophetic gift to make light of what God has already revealed in his Word, the Bible's NOT welcomed. -This has never ceased. The Bible rule,'s restoration of the Old Testament prophet-office. Faith Movement preachers claim that the Old Testament prophet-office is restored. However, such a thing never mentions the Bible with a single word. Faith Movement prophets see into the future, add-on within the body of Christ, and have revealed new teachings contrary to Bible teachings. This practice is explicitly contradicted by the Word of God, and God has put total ban on such activity. All revelations and prophecies until the judgment is already prophesied and revealed! God has given us the revelations and the teachings we need! Heb.1 :1-2 God, who in the past many times and in divers manners spake unto the fathers by the prophets, He has in these last days spoken unto us by his Son. . . Here, the Bible tells us again that the Old Testament prophet's era is over. God no longer speaks to us through such prophets-but through Jesus. Clearer it is not possible to say what! Our day Old Testament prophets proclaimed. . . They are not ordained of God. If someone goes beyond what the Bible talks about, then they are false prophets.

21 He holds the whole building together, so that the Lord grows into a holy temple, The building is the church, the redeemed of Jews and Gentiles. We grow together into a holy temple for the Lord. The drainage basin of the Holy Spirit is large in the individual's life. But unity and unity in the Christian Church does the same catchment huge. It was the church of God Satan would never prevail. Matt. 16th 18 And I tell you: You are Peter, upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 I will give you the keys, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. "20 And he commanded the disciples strictly to tell anyone that he was the Messiah. 5 Numbers 32 30 How could one man chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, unless the LORD had given them up?

22 and through whom ye also are builded together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. 1 Cor. 15th 28 And when so everything is subject to him shall the Son also himself be subject to the God who put all things under him, that God may be all in all. Here we read that God will Fyle all in all when we are at home in heaven. But we are made partakers of the Spirit also here and now. It is the same spirit we have now that we filled out to partake in when we get home. It's just like when we buy a house and sign a contract. When writing a contract and pay a portion of the purchase price, usually 10%. So paying a rest when the house is finished. So it is with salvation. We are part of God the Father and Christ now, by their common spirit. Then when we get home is part of the "package" full out. When God will fill all in all. (End of quote).

3) in relation to all non-believers, that is able to socialize with wisdom, love, and by awakening confidence.

We are to love all men, especially those who are our brothers and sisters in the faith. This is the word of God, and enlivens a limb, so suffer all others. And being a limb honored, then everyone else there. On several occasions the Apostle Paul gives a picture of the church as a whole. Jesus said the same thing as a vine. The church is compared to a house, a body and vine. All this tells us that we are in mutual relationship and responsibilities to each other. Therefore we do not live a Solo-life as believers, but in mutual responsibility and relationship relationship to each other.

In his farewell speech Jesus compares himself and his disciples with the vine and the branches. Jesus is the true vine and we are the branches.

"I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that bears fruit He prunes so that it will carry more. Ye are clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch can not bear fruit of itself, but only if it remains in the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him, bears much fruit.: for without me ye can do nothing. Whoever does not abide in me is thrown out like a branch and withers. And the branches are gathered together and thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask what ye will, and it shall be done. For by this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples. " (John 15:1-8)

We have grown up among pine trees. A spruce tree has trunk and branches. Tribe and many branches. The vine is different. It's more like a shrub tree, where everything looks like branches. Lots of branches. Pruning of branches, making it a three. "I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him, bears much fruit. "Did you hear that Jesus is not only the tribe, he is the tree with us incorporated as branches. It is his fruit we bear. And hear ye present form - bear much fruit. We are his vine that bears his fruit. We have got what we have to offer! This is to be Christ. In Christ all about being loved by him. But it also means that we have become an integral part of that love. Love outside that turns into the love within. It gives quality to our lives. What does it mean to be in the love of Jesus? Then our emotional culture challenged. It is not the great feelings that our culture often associated with love. It is also. Jesus responds with the commandments. "If you keep My commandments, you will abide in my love." Jesus enjoins love. It violates our logic. Love is for us much more reciprocal feelings than keeping commandments. Obedience and love we perceive more like opposites. But in Jesus is this contradiction repealed. Where love is more related to the washbasin than the heart. To roll up their sleeves than to unfold feelings. And this line goes all the way to the cross. There, he loves us by putting his life for us. Where the demand is not so much for the love of Jesus that his obedience. Not about his self-realization - he dies - but about God's love for all people. When speaking commandment "Be my love" to all of me, not just the more or less erratic fluctuations in us. Thus no bids rigid rules God has given to keep us in place. But the commandments are given for "Love one another as I have loved you!" How we are "in Christ" called to be "close to life." Close to human life in all its facets - with the love we have received in Christ.

4) In relation to this world. Both being a witness and by obtaining incomings.

We live in this world but not of this world. Therefore it is so important that the world and the non-believers (read Jesus believers) can not influence our attitudes, opinions or views. I have already mentioned that the remarriage. For the world, this is quite "normal". If one just trying to point out what God's word says will be a stamp. In fact, believers become worse in many respects in the world. The believers boycotting one when one claims that remarriage of believers is to commit adultery or marrying a divorcee is committing adultery. The world standard has become "church" standard. Not the true church, but if they confess the name of Jesus has taken such liberties as freedom is for the flesh, nothing else. But on the other hand, we should have a different standard and be a holy and separated people of the Lord, do not go in tandem with the unbelievers in their lives, beliefs and attitudes. But let God's Word and Christ's influence us at any time. In this way, we are a witness to a backslider and dying world. Jesus said that we should go out in al the world to preach, but he also said that we should not bring any harm to our souls and take up our cross daily to follow Him, let this be crucial for us. Without it, we are no witness to the world, but then we become one with the world and Satan. We need above all to put off the old man and put on the new people.

From my commentaries Ephesians 4 21 Ye have heard about him and trained him for the truth that is in Jesus: Disciples are also suffering and tribulations, but the sufferings characterized Master's picture and being in us and we are made like Him. It's part of the deal that God makes with His disciples. "This is the covenant I will make with them after those days - so says the Lord: I will put my laws into their hearts, and write them in their minds, and their sins and their transgressions, I will no more be remembered." Heb. 10:16-17. When we have faith in the temptations and trials and do our own will, this happens as the formation works. It is wonderful for a person to get into such a development. Jesus faced the same challenge us with the same "aids" when he had renounced his Deity Practice and power and become a man like us in full. He prevailed by prayer and God's Spirit!

22 You shall live as before but put off the old man being destroyed by the deceitful lusts. Sanctification is not to make a sequence of actions or rituals. First you have to understand what the fear is. The fear of God is about right worship. Acquire the word of God. If you have a good worship of Jesus will be able to experience the sweetness of holiness. The fear of God that leads to right worship in all you do, this leads to holiness. It is the Holy Spirit who creates holiness in you. Boldness and joy in your mind. A joy that is not grounded in this world. Proverbs 2, 5 then you will understand the fear, and the knowledge of God. 6 For the LORD gives wisdom, knowledge and understanding goes out of his mouth. 7 He let the righteous prosper. Worship is not that I feel good all the time. But I leave the word of God to do something with me. My thoughts, actions and attitudes. Needed it sometimes a bit of discipline us. Yes of course. Fear of God's love means that God's Spirit sanctifies us.

23 You have to be renewed in mind and spirit "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he ....." (Proverbs 23:7) Why do you like to do? Have you ever thought about what it is that makes you think as you do? What causes you to reason and the decisions you make? All the various thoughts that have flowed through your head today, what is it that has caused them to appear in your head? We read here that you are the way you think! We are therefore a product of our thoughts. It is our thought-life that governs all our life. We make decisions and choices, think and act according to what is in our minds. All men are more or less tied up in different thought patterns. God wants you to have the right mindset. The Bible says that we therefore have to go through a process called "Mind renewal". Man is a twofold creation where spirit and soul belong together. And the body is the outer man but the spirit and soul is the inner man teach God's word. Loading the body's heart, so it is with the inner man. The heart, the Lord has changed from having a heart of stone to a heart of flesh that he can shape, form and let life flow in and through!

24 and clothe you in the new self, created after the image of God to a life of righteousness and holiness of the truth. The new man is Christ, and shall we clothe us. Baptism hear, but it is far more. A daily journey where we become more and more like Jesus. The new life is growing, thriving in what is right, true and holy. Just like a flower or a plant thrive in the right atmosphere with the right amount of sunlight, enjoy the new man in the light of God and under the influence of Christ. The secret to win, really win in the Christian life is the good habits. And why do we suffer defeat, even as "old" Christians? We break the habits and the penalties themselves. King David went every spring to war but the year he broke the habit was also the year the disaster struck him and his house. There are tobacco, alcohol habits, play habits, TV habits and other habits that will ultimately lead us away from Christ and the great tilintelsgjørelsen. While good habits will lead us closer to Christ and each other. Habits are formed and prevention!

25 Add therefore lie! Speak truth each with his neighbor, for we are members one of another. From my Bible commentary Colossians Dispenser Letter 3 9 Do not lie to each other! For ye have put off the old self with its practices We shall put on new clothes, but first we need to undress the old. Should we find to dress new clothes for us before we dressed the old will be a great loss to the new clothes. Get first of the old aviation tendon, it is the condition of dressing new clothes. 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed after its creator's image and to know him. Now the dressing of the old clothes are taken off. Step by step we must take on the new clothes. We must do it wisely and see that we do it in the right order and that we do not mix the old with the new clothes. Should this process take place it happens all the time in an interior renovation, which is being renewed in its creator's image and to know him. 11 Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian and Scythian, slave or free, here is the Christ all and in all. All the time, both we and others compare themselves with us. And an opinion also both about themselves, others and ourselves. All this we must be able to ignore and have our identity in Christ Jesus. Still going to live as a believer depending on whether he can fill us with himself. Even when we get to heaven, we need him. 1 Kor.15. 28 And when so everything is subject to him shall the Son also himself be subject to the God who put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
