Arne Bakken received a 'beating' at the Oslo Christian Center. He "fled" to Filadelfia Oslo. There he was applauded. It was like there was no middle ground!

We all need encouragement, comfort and exhortation in a healthy way.
I don't think I got it on the ground, which is why it also went badly.
As I understand it, what happened at OKS. Then there was a certain power struggle where Arne Bakken was about to "take over" as Head Pastor.
Why? He became more popular than the head pastor Åge Åleskjær.
It was too many that it was Bakken who gave them spiritual food.
Then Åge Åleskjær did something "smart". He employed Leif Jacobsen who was supposed to have a task, to get Arne Bakken removed.
Blue. during meetings at OKS - internal meetings.
There, Leif Jacobsen attacked Bakken again and again with statements like this:
"I'll crush you!"
I have been told this by those who took part in internal meetings at OKS.
As a curiosity, it can be mentioned that Leif Jacobsen was the one who introduced Åge Åleskjær to Kenneth Hagin's books. It was Hagin who took Kenyon's teaching that Jesus died spiritually, passed it on to far too many.
Unfortunately, Bakken taught this for a while, but do you think he distanced himself from this teaching eventually? At least it's not biblical!
With Arne Bakken, there was one before Filadelfia Oslo, and one after.
When he belonged to OKS, he was obviously injured in several areas.
But when he came to Filadelfia Oslo, he was not greeted in a fatherly way.
What he needed. What everyone needs.
It is said that Bakken had an authoritarian Father? I don't know, anyway.
The ground was not properly cared for in Philadelphia.
What happened to Bakken at OKS?
For many, he became their "Chief Pastor". Then he was the one they got spiritual food from, not Åge Åleskjær.
What did Åleskjær do then?
Got a proper slugger in, Leif Jacobsen to remove him obviously.
Jacobsen also said it bluntly, that he was going to have Bakken removed.
In many ways, everything around Arne Bakken is complex, instructive, complicated, wonderful, tragic and something that repeats itself.
Scripture says:
Ecclesiastes 1. 9 What has been is what will be, and what has happened is what will happen, and there is nothing new under the sun. 10 If there is something about which one would say: Look, this is new - then it existed a long time ago, in advanced times that were before us.
Bakken was about to become the most liked preacher at OKS, it was not tolerated.
He was squeezed out of OKS, and came to Filadelfia Oslo as a wounded bird.
There he was not taken care of as he obviously needed.
That in turn resulted in him returning to old sins and the old life!
I am convinced that this could have been avoided.
One who is obviously to blame for this is Morgan Kornmo and others.
Important to learn from, and make things better at the next crossroads!
Heb. 13. 7 Remember the leaders who are present among you, for those who are present speak the word of God to you. Follow their faith and notice the outcome of their way of life.
Here, unfortunately, several mistakes were made, even a shame.
Let's not do the same.
Room. 15. 4 What has been previously written shall be for learning for us, so that in endurance, and with comfort from the Scriptures, we shall have hope.
Final comment:
I brought a tape of Bakken's speech in which he taught that Jesus died spiritually and became one with Satan. I delivered it to David Østby, who also let Morgan Kornmo hear it.
Neither of the two would realize that Bakken also needed someone who could exhort him and give him some training.
By that I mean that people like these two who had been with them all their lives in service.
Should guide as a Son is guided by his Father. What happened was that Kornmo in particular turned against me. No wonder Bakken died tragically.
He was not looked after in a good way.

Arne Bakken (born 1955, died 29 January 2001 in Oslo) was a preacher and Bible teacher. He had a background in the drug environment in Oslo, but experienced a marked conversion to Christianity around 1975.
Bakken helped found Oslo Kristne Senter and worked as a pastor, preacher and Bible teacher within the Pentecostal movement and faith movement. He also traveled for several years as a speaker for the Marita Foundation.

Arne Bakken was possibly badly treated?
He was either pressed down unnecessarily.
Or lifted up unnecessarily, this is of course not good.
But still, Bakken like everyone else. We are OURSELVES RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR OWN DEEDS!
Take lessons, unfortunately God's church does not function optimally.
But we still have to be responsible for each one for himself!
