As believers we must, and shall, take authority over our own lives, ministry, marriages and all the relationships we stand and live in!

Numbers 13. 26 They went and found Moses and Aaron and the whole congregation of the children of Israel in the wilderness of Paran, at Kadesh, and told them and the whole congregation what they had seen, and showed them the fruit of the land.

Here as an illustrative picture the scouts show what they brought back to Moses.
Here a large cluster of grapes, which shows that the land abounded.
Everything that God has is life, and life in abundance.

1 Pet. 5. 8 Be sober and vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
9 You must resist him and stand firm in the faith, for you know what suffering your fellow believers are going through in the world.

We will never experience Satan up close

But we will experience him as believers more or less throughout our lives.
Then through other people.
Through circumstances, through his demons and in our own thought life.

God also speaks, then through his word first and foremost!

Therefore, we will find everything in God's word, as an "instruction book."
How to win victory and move forward in life and service with and for God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

A classic example is when the children of Israel were to take the land of Canaan and sent in 12 scouts in advance!

Numbers 13. 1 And the Lord spoke to Moses and said:
2 Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel! You shall send a man for each tribe of their fathers; each one shall be a leader among the people. Deuteronomy 1:22
3 So Moses sent them from the wilderness of Paran by the word of the LORD; all of them were heads of the children of Israel.
16 These are the names of the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land; but Moses called Hoshea the son of Nun Joshua.
17 And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said unto them, Go up this way into the south, and go up into the mountain:
18 And see what the land is, and whether the people that dwelleth therein are strong or weak, few or great:
19 And what the land is that they dwell in, whether it be good or bad: and what the cities that they dwell in, whether they be in villages or in fortresses:
20 And what the land is, whether it be fat or lean, whether there be trees in it, or not. Be of good courage, and take of the fruit of the land with you: for it was the time of the first ripe grapes.
21 Then they went up and spied out the land from the wilderness of Zin to Rehob, near Hamath.

It was not God's perfect Will that Moses should send in these 12 spies!

When God wanted them to walk by faith, and not by sight.

2 Cor. 5. 7 For we live by faith, and not by sight.

But when Moses first chose to send in 12 spies – 1 leader for each tribe – this was God's will.
Where the 12 spies were to go in and see the land.
To return to give their victory reports.
For God it was a simple matter for the children of Israel to take the land.
He had been with them and delivered them from the greatest power of the time, Egypt.
Then these tribes in the land of Canaan were the opposite of what was claimed by those who returned the report. After they had spied out the land.
It was the children of Israel who were the powerful.
Joshua 2. 8 Before the spies lay down, she went up to them on the roof,
9 and said to them, “I know that the Lord has given you the land, and that the terror of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land are perishing for fear of you. Exodus 15:15-16 Exodus 23:27 5:11-25
10 For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were on the other side of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed. Exodus 14:21-31 4:21-24
11 As soon as we heard it, our hearts melted, and there was no longer any spirit left in us to stand before you; for the Lord your God, he is God in heaven above and on earth beneath. Deuteronomy 4:39 Joshua 5:1

It was clear that the children of Israel were superior even though the giants lived there in the land of Canaan. Those whom the children of Israel later completely exterminated.
These half-human, half-demons were of course fearsome.
But with God's help and hand, nothing is too difficult or hard for God. And those who go with him, Amen in Jesus' name!
Numbers 13. 31 But the men who had gone up with him said, "We are not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we."
32 And they brought up a bad report among the children of Israel about the land which they had spied out, saying, "The land which we passed through to spy out is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people we saw in it are tall men; Numbers 14:3 ** *devours: by the wars that are waged there; Numbers 14:3.
33 There we saw the giants, the descendants of Anak, who come from the giants, and we were in our own sight like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them. Deuteronomy 9:2

Joshua and the children of Israel destroyed them, and there were some survivors who were destroyed during the time of King David.
Joshua 11. 21. At that time Joshua came and destroyed the Anakim in the hill country, in Hebron, in Debir, in Anab, and in all the hill country both in Judah and in Israel; Joshua destroyed them and their cities with a curse.

But what happened?

When they entered the land, there was a divided group that returned.
There were 10 of the spies, had a report. Everything was impossible.
We read.

Numbers 13. 25 At the end of forty days, they returned from spying out the land.
26 They went and found Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel in the wilderness of Paran, at Kadesh, and they told them and all the congregation what they had seen, and showed them the fruit of the land.
27 And they told him, saying, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and, behold, it floweth with milk and honey; and, behold, the fruit thereof. Exodus 3:8-17
28 But the people that dwell in the land are strong, and the cities are fenced, and very great: and we saw the children of Anak there.
29 The Amalekites dwell in the south; and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea side, and along the Jordan.
31 But the men that had gone up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.
32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had spied out unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to spy it out, is a land that devoureth its inhabitants; and all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature; Numbers 14:3 ** *devourer: by the wars that are fought there; Numbers 14:3.
33 There we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, who are the descendants of the giants, and we were in our own eyes like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them.

But there were two others, Joshua and Caleb, who saw it as God saw it all.
We read.

Numbers 13. 30 But when the people murmured against Moses, Caleb tried to stop them, saying, “We will go up and possess the land; surely we will get it in our hand.” Numbers 14:6-7

One group said that it would definitely go to defeat.
While Caleb said the following:
“We will go up and possess the land; surely we will get it in our hand.”

We also read further.

Numbers 14. 6 And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that spied out the land, rent their clothes Numbers 13:30
7 And spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to spy it out, is an exceeding good land.
8 If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us, a land that floweth with milk and honey. Numbers 13:27
9 Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither be ye afraid of the people of the land: for we shall devour them as bread: their defence is taken from them; and the LORD is with us; be ye not afraid of them. Deuteronomy 20:3-4 Psalm 56:5

Why so great a difference? As night and day.
We read in the scripture.

2 Cor. 4. 13 For we ourselves have the spirit of faith, according as it is written, ‘I have faith, and by it I speak.’ We also have faith, and by it we speak. Ps. 116,10
14 And we know that he who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us and present us before Jesus.
15 All this has become yours through his overwhelming grace. Therefore be grateful for the great abundance of glory that will be yours from God.

It is the restful spirit, thoughts and attitudes that occupy us.
Here the following is stated as the great decisive difference.
“For we ourselves have the spirit of faith, according as it is written, ‘I have faith, and by it I speak.’ We also have faith, and by it we speak.”

How do we take this glorious, wonderful and biblical position where the spirit of faith can control us? Where we go from victory to victory as believers?

2 Cor. 3. 17 For the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
18 But we all, with unveiled face reflecting the glory of the Lord, will be transformed into the image and glory of the Lord; the glory that comes from the Spirit of the Lord.

In other words, we will become completely like Jesus, this we can become when God is allowed to work freely in our lives. This happens through the Spirit of the Lord. But to get there, you have to do something yourself too. It is to stick to the Lord 100%, not 99% or less.

How do we do this? Among other things, the apostle says the following:

2 Cor. 10. 3 For though we live in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
4 The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God, who can tear down strongholds.
5 For we will tear down reasonings and every wall that rises up against the knowledge of God. We take captive every thought that is not obedient to Christ.
6 And we are ready to punish all disobedience until you are fully obedient.

It is primarily in our mental life that the battle takes place.
Therefore, we must and should fill ourselves with the word of God morning, noon and evening.
It is in and through the word of God that we win the victory.
Therefore, Paul says the following:
“For we will tear down reasonings and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. We will take captive every thought that does not obey Christ.”

It is also there that the people of the world suffer defeat, when Satan and the demons have free access to their spirit, mind and thoughts, says the scripture.
We read:

Eph. 2. 2 For you once lived according to the spirit of this world, according to the prince of the air, the spirit that now works in the sons of disobedience.
3 You also once lived in the lusts of the flesh. You followed the desires and thoughts of the flesh. You were by nature children of wrath, just as the rest of us were
Eph. 4. 17 This I say and testify in the Lord, so that you no longer live as the rest of the Gentiles do, for they walk in the futility of their minds.
18 Their understanding being darkened, they are alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them and the hardness of their hearts.
19 They have become shameless, having given themselves over to sensuality, leading to all kinds of impurity and greed.
20 But such people do not know Christ.
21 For although they have heard about him, they have not learned the truth about Jesus.

Here there is much, but mostly negative about the old man.
The people who live without Jesus and let the word of God influence them.
But if we do the same as we read, for example, in Deuteronomy 28. Where there is the opposite, there is much to be learned here.
It says about unbelievers that Satan and demons are allowed to control them through, among other things, the following:
"You followed the will and mind of the flesh. For they walk in the futility of their minds.
Your understanding is darkened, and they are alienated from a life with God because of their ignorance and their hard hearts."

They follow their flesh, which is controlled by their empty minds. Alien to God and his will. Why? In short and to the point. They do not let the word of God control them.
This is exactly where the victory for all of us lies, that the word of God is allowed to control us in everything.
Therefore, it is so important that we first fill ourselves with the word of God,
Read, hear and take to ourselves the word of God.
Secondly, take every thought captive and reject that is not controlled and is in accordance with the word of God.

The victory for us believers lies in the extent to which we fill ourselves with the word of God, and let it control us! No victory without the word of God, and what the word of God says!

Final Comment:

James 1. 22 Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
23 If then a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror.
24 He looks at himself and goes away. And immediately he turns and forgets what he was like.
25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, not becoming a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he has done.

This is what is crucial. See what God's word says, believe it.
Speak it and stand firm in it. That is the clear guidance of the scriptures.
Read the word of God, believe it as it is.
Then confess it openly, clearly and distinctly out loud with your own mouth.
It works, that is what the scriptures say we should practice and live by as believers.

Rom. 10. 6 But this is the righteousness that is of faith: ‘Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ That is, to bring Christ down. Deuteronomy 30:12-14
7 Or, ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ That is, to bring Christ up from the dead. Deuteronomy 30:13
8 It says, ‘The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart.’ That is, the word of faith that we preach. Deuteronomy 30:14
9 For if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.
11 For the scripture says, ‘Whoever believes will not be put to shame.’ Isaiah 28:16
12 And there is no difference between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call on him.
13 For ‘Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ JOE 3:5

The case between me and my wife and the Oslo Municipality is clearly a spiritual battle between good against evil and truth against lies!

Here is the picture of our plot that PBE wrote in 2011 had a level difference of 5 meters.
Ergo, then our wall is not as illegal as PBE claims.
When they fantasize, lie and have built a narrative that our plot is flat.
The entire agency is very sick.

Let's go to the Master himself, Jesus. Look at the treatment he received.
Then you get a look at how the spiritual battle most often takes place.
History will always repeat itself.

It is this property that PBE claims is a toad flat.
Everyone can see that they are lying!
The level difference is 5 meters, and thus they are exposed as the liars, deceivers and crooks that they are!

We read in the scriptures that Jesus meets unjust people

1 Cor. 2. 6 We speak of a wisdom that is mature, and not of the wisdom of this age, or of the rulers of this age, for they are about to perish.
7 We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom, which was ordained before the world unto our glory.
8 Which none of the rulers of this world understood: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Acts 1:11-13. 3. 12 When Peter saw this, he responded: “Men of Israel, why is this surprising to you, as if you thought that by our own power and piety we had made him walk?
13 The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus, whom you delivered up to Pilate and denied in his presence, so that Pilate condemned him to death.
14 For you denied the Holy and Righteous One and asked for a murderer to be granted you.
15 And you killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, of which we were witnesses.

It was unrighteous men who crucified Jesus!

No other ancient trial is as well-known as this one.
The four Gospels, tell in detail what happened when Jesus Christ was arrested, tried, and executed.
(The Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.)

There are several reasons for this: Jesus said to His followers were to commemorate his death, which greatly increases the significance of the trial that led up to it. We should also know whether the charges against Jesus were true.

At the time of Jesus’ trial, the Romans ruled over Israel. They allowed the Jewish religious leaders to judge the Jews according to their own law, but it seems that they did not give them the legal authority to execute criminals.
In keeping with this, Jesus was arrested by his Jewish religious enemies but executed by the Romans. His preaching and countless miracles, healings, and casting out demons.
Yet, he did not deny that he was the coming Messiah and redeemer.
This made the Pharisees and scribes furious, hateful, and jealous.
So outraged were the religious leaders of the day that they decided that Jesus must die.
They wanted it to appear as if he was executed in accordance with the law and justice.
A A law professor who analyzed their efforts to achieve this goal called the whole affair “the darkest crime known in legal history.”

One Offense After Another

The Law that Moses gave to Israel has been called “the greatest and most enlightened legal system ever put forth.”
By Jesus’ day, however, rabbis who placed excessive emphasis on laws and regulations had added a host of unscriptural rules.
Many of these were later recorded in the Talmud.
To what extent were these Biblical and unscriptural laws and regulations followed in the trial of Jesus?
Was Jesus arrested because two witnesses in a court of law had given consistent testimony about a specific crime?
For the arrest to have been legal, that had to have been the case. If a Jew in first-century Israel believed that someone had committed a crime, he presented his accusation to the court during regular court sessions.
The courts could not bring charges, but only investigated the truth of the charges brought before them.
The only accusers were those who had witnessed an alleged crime.
A case was brought to trial when the testimony of at least two witnesses to the same act agreed.
Their testimony constituted the accusation, which then led to an arrest. It was not permissible to convict a person on the testimony of just one witness. (Deuteronomy 19:15)

In the case against Jesus, the Jewish leaders simply sought “to see how they might do away with him.”
He was arrested when “a convenient opportunity” arose—at night and “when there was no crowd present.”—Luke 22:2, 5, 6, 53.
When Jesus was arrested, there was no charge against him. The priests and the Sanhedrin, the Jewish high court, tried to get witnesses only after he had had been arrested. (Matthew 26:59)
They were unable to find two witnesses who would come forward with consistent testimony. But it was not the court’s job to get witnesses. And “to bring a man to trial, especially with a demand for the death penalty, without first stating the crime with which he is charged, may rightly be considered scandalous,” he said lawyer and author A. Taylor Innes.
Those who arrested Jesus took him to the house of the former high priest Annas, and Annas began to question him. (Luke 22:54; John 18:12, 13)
This was a violation of the rule that capital cases should be heard during the day, not at night. Furthermore, the facts should have been brought out in open court, not behind closed doors.
Jesus, aware that Annas’ questioning was illegal, replied: “Why do you question me? Ask those who heard me what I said. Look! They know what I said.” (John 18:21)
Jesus did not remain silent, but he answered correctly. Of course, this was completely overlooked, since the hatred against him was so intense. Everything that was according to the Law and for Jesus’ benefit and favor was neglected.
Annas should have questioned the witnesses, not the accused. Jesus’ remark might have moved an honorable judge to consider proper procedure, but Annas was not interested in what was right and proper.
Hatred dominated the entire trial, and no rules or laws were followed.
Jesus’ response resulted in him being struck in the face by one of the officers, and he was subjected to even more violence that night. (Luke 22:63; John 18:22) The law recorded in Numbers chapter 35 regarding the cities of refuge shows that a defendant awaiting trial was to be protected from mistreatment. Jesus should have been given such protection.
Those who had taken Jesus captive now led him to the house of High Priest Caiaphas, where the illegal nighttime trial continued. (Luke 22:54; John 18:24)
There, in complete violation of all legal principles, the priests tried to obtain “false testimony against Jesus in order to put him to death,” but they could not find two witnesses who agreed on anything Jesus said. (Matthew 26:59; Mark 14:56-59)
The high priest then tried to get Jesus himself to say something that would prove him guilty of a crime. “Do you not answer?” he said. “What is it these witnesses are bringing against you?” (Mark 14:60)
This tactic had no place in a court of law.
“To ask such a question of the accused and then to base a conviction on his answer was a violation of the formal rules of the law,” says Innes, quoted earlier.

The assembly finally seized on a statement Jesus made.
In answer to the question: “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?” Jesus replied: “I am; and you will see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of power and coming with the clouds of heaven.” The priests interpreted this as blasphemy, and “they all condemned him to death.”—Mark 14:61-64.

According to the Mosaic Law, trials were to be held in public. (Deuteronomy 16:18; Ruth 4:1) But here everything took place in secret.
No one attempted or was allowed to speak in Jesus’ behalf.
There was no investigation into Jesus’ claim to be the Messiah. Jesus was not given the opportunity to call witnesses to speak in his defense. There was no peaceful and orderly vote among the judges on the question of guilt.

To Pilate

Since the Jews apparently did not have the authority to execute Jesus, they took him to Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor. Pilate’s first question was: “What accusation do you bring against this man?” Knowing that their false charge of blasphemy meant nothing to Pilate, the Jews tried to get him to condemn Jesus without further investigation. “If this man were not an evildoer, we would not have handed him over to you,” they said. (John 18:29, 30)
Pilate rejected this argument, so the Jews were forced to make a new charge: “We found this man subverting our nation and forbidding the paying of taxes to Caesar and saying he himself is Christ a king.” (Luke 23:2) So they cunningly replaced the charge of blasphemy with a charge of treason.
The charge that Jesus “forbade the paying of taxes” was false, and the accusers knew it. Jesus had said the exact opposite. (Matthew 22:15-22)
When it came to the charge that Jesus was making himself a king, Pilate quickly realized that the man before him posed no threat to Rome.
“I find no fault in him,” he declared. (John 18:38)
Throughout the trial, Pilate was convinced that Jesus was innocent.
Pilate first tried to release Jesus by allowing him to benefit from the custom of releasing a prisoner at Passover.
But Pilate ended up releasing Barabbas, who was guilty of sedition and murder. —Luke 23:18, 19; John 18:39, 40.
Hatred for Jesus led the Jewish people to be misled and led to participate in the most heinous crime of all time. A robber and murderer was set free. But the Savior of the world was handed over to die for our sins.
Rom. 4. 25 He was delivered up for our offenses, and he was raised for our justification.

Jesus was judged as a lawbreaker—even though he was completely innocent!

The Roman governor then tried to free Jesus by resorting to compromise.
Jesus was scourged, clothed in purple, crowned with thorns, and beaten and mocked.
Once again, Pilate declared Jesus innocent.
It was as if he were saying, Is this not enough for you, priests?
Perhaps he hoped that the sight of a man badly maimed after being subjected to the scourging of the Romans would satisfy their thirst for revenge or appeal to their mercy and conscience. (Luke 23:22) But it did not. Their hatred trumped everything, and here it was literally darkness that prevailed, as Jesus himself said.
John 9:4 I must work the work for which I was sent while it is day, for the night is coming when no one can work.
“Pilate [continued] to seek to release [Jesus].” But the Jews cried out, saying, ‘If you release this man, you are not Caesar’s friend. Everyone who makes himself a king speaks against Caesar.’” (John 19:12)
The emperor at that time was Tiberius, who was known for executing those he considered disloyal—even high-ranking officials.
Pilate was already in a tense relationship with the Jews, so he could not risk further friction, much less the accusation of disloyalty.
The crowd’s words contained a veiled threat—blackmail—and Pilate became afraid. He yielded to the pressure and had Jesus, an innocent man, impaled/crucified. —John 19:16.

Assessment of the Case

Many legal experts have analyzed the Gospel accounts of Jesus’ trial. They have concluded that it was a farce, a pure parody. “That such a trial should be commenced and concluded and the verdict formally pronounced between midnight and the following morning was a violation of the forms and rules of the Hebrew legal system and also of general legal principles,” writes a jurist.
A law professor says: “The entire proceedings were marked by such gross illegalities and such obvious irregularities that the result cannot be considered anything other than a miscarriage of justice.”

The case against me and my wife has striking similarities!

Where the authorities are playing a game of scheming, pretending to follow a law they completely neglect and reinterpret clear instructions as suits them.

We have also been subjected to a conspiracy, miscarriage of justice, discrimination, injustice and abuse as Jesus was. Of course, Jesus was subjected to far greater and worse abuse than we were. But the principles and the same Satan and unjust people are of the same type and bad character.

What we did was right in one and all.
While the Oslo Municipality and the authorities have made all the mistakes and abuses that are possible.
Where they shift the responsibility and mistakes onto me, but it is the Oslo Municipality and the authorities who lie, distort the facts.
Keeping hidden what is to my advantage and favor.
What is to my disadvantage and hindrance, is blown up beyond recognition!

1.) When we were guided how to build. My then case manager does not remember the phone calls. That is of course a lie.

2.) We have a wall that fits perfectly into the terrain and keeps mold and dirt away from the roadway. The environmental benefit is great, but this and everything that is to our advantage and benefit. Is completely, completely overlooked and not commented on.

3.) Our shed is to be demolished as it is a minimal excess of 3 sq m. The shed is 11 sq m. So not meeting us is a major discrimination in relation to everyone else who gets exemption and approval compared to us up to 60 times.

5.) PBE has kept it a secret and will not address the fact that we do not have a flat plot as they have claimed. But the level difference is a full 5 meters, which means that we are allowed according to PBE's own regulations. To have a wall approximately the one we have of 1.8 meters. We almost have a legal wall. And have sent a compromise proposal that we do not get a response to.

Final comment:

To believe that the authorities are not in some cases like bandits and thugs to be considered.
Then you have not learned much?
As for Jesus, he was subjected to the greatest and worst miscarriage of justice in the history of the world.
As for our case, this is of course a trivial matter compared to what Jesus had to go through.
But still, still.
It is at least an abuse of power that we have experienced!
Our case is ongoing, so in this sense one cannot yet predict what the whole thing will end up with?
Personally, I believe that we will ultimately win our case.
And get the redress we are entitled to.
Time will tell, it will be exciting in every way.

We live in Norway, and PBE operates as an agency in a closed country that will not answer legitimate questions.
The case here is very different from when we started.
In the beginning, there was only one argument I had and understood.
It was that Kaja Aubert Lange guided me how to build.
She countered this by lying that she did not remember.
Then I had to read up.
I quickly realized that we were being treated differently.
Afterwards, I found out that we were allowed to have a wall of 1.5 meters, ours is 1.8 meters.
They are making what I see as illegal decisions to the Debt Collection Agency and the Bailiff to extort money from me, which is downright disgusting to act in such a way.

No. 1646: They were too "good" for this world!

No. 1646:

They were too "good" for this world!

Picture of one of the case managers in PBE here in Oslo who is controlled by the forces of darkness that, among other things, we who have upgraded our property want.
Will tear down our wall that we were led by PBE how to build.
Here you see an example of the children of this world punishing what is good. Satan he turns everything upside down.
Picture of the evil and Devilish Astrid Myhra who is only looking for trouble and hatred.
That such people are allowed to continue here in Oslo is so bad.
Words are not enough, are there no adults at home here in the capital?
Doesn't look like that, could never have imagined a place.
To meet such evil and Devilish people.
This should only be met in one way, with strong rejection and never under any circumstances comply with what they want out of evil and completely on their face decisions.
They are some bullies controlled by Satan and his demons.
Trying to break people with fines and theft.
After we have upgraded our property and done good.
We are good and do good.
These are evil and do evil.

Heb. 11. 30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been compassed about for seven days.
31 By faith Rahab the prostitute avoided being destroyed with the unbelievers when she received the spies with peace.
32 What more can I say? — It would take too much time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah and David, or about Samuel and the prophets.
33 For through faith they subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, and shut the mouths of lions.
34 They quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword. The weak were made strong, they became valiant in battle, and put foreign armies to flight.
35 Women received their dead by resurrection; others were tortured, not accepting their deliverance, hoping to obtain a better resurrection.
36 Others were tried with mockings and scourgings. They were even put to death in chains and prisons.
37 They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were slain by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, afflicted, and mistreated.—And the world was not worthy of them!
38 They wandered about in deserts and mountains, and lived in dens and caves of the earth.
39 All these had a witness given to them through their faith, but they did not receive the promises.
40 But God had provided something better for us, so that without us they could not be made perfect.

The standards of this world are not God's standards!

What people value highly and what they don't, is individual.

But there is no doubt that we as believers have a completely different view of values than non-believers.

What Muslims and others also value highly, is of course not what we Christians do!

Here, in the context of the text in Hebrews, the Apostle Paul comes up with many strong and apt expressions that I really recognize.

Among others, this, from verse 36: "Others had trials such as mocking and scourging. And they were even put in chains and imprisoned."

The previous verses speak of those who won victories and endured the battle.
But from verse 36 onwards, it speaks of those who did not win so-called victories and overcame the enemy in this world.
That is also part of the whole picture for us believers.
It is not always the case that we in this world apparently win victories.
It may look like we do not.
But that is only an optical illusion.
We as believers always win victories.
The apostle Paul says something very strong in the letter to the Romans.

Rom. 8. 37 But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Christians "continue to win a glorious victory."
The fact is, even when all of life is against us, we are still "more than conquerors" despite how things seem to us, or how we feel about our circumstances.
God will strengthen us no matter what.
We are victorious over all those who would challenge our relationship with the Lord. God has "justified" us, and nothing will ever change His mind.

Winning more than victory is how God sees it all.
Even our defeats, difficulties, and trials are not defeats, surely?
These are Blessings in disguise many times over.
Therefore, our life as believers is not how the people of the world see it all.
It is not actually how we ourselves see it all.
Many times we live in an optical illusion.

From Wikipedia:
An optical illusion, an optical deception, or an optical illusion is when we perceive an image as something other than it actually is, or as something that according to our reason is impossible.
The information our eyes send to the brain challenges our perception of reality.
Optical illusions can be roughly divided into two groups, physiological and cognitive illusions.

I have experienced this, but that for us believers. Is much we experience as an "optical illusion."
We experience apparent defeat, but for God this is only an opportunity for him. Where he gets his way and will.

For example. when the authorities stole our car, supernatural things happened that I will not mention yet. As the fight against Satan and PBE is not over yet.

Here in this situation, PBE and the authorities are completely controlled and ruled by Satan and his demons.
These are Norwegian authorities who lie, distort the fact.
Aim to try to break us for having done only right and good.
We have upgraded our property.
Where nothing is as PBE claims it to be. Among other things, they do not remember that they guided me how to build the wall. They lie about the drop height or the level difference on our property.
Where they will not admit that they make a difference between us and others.
They lie about one and all. Their entire explanation supported by the State Administrator and others.
Is a continuous lie and distortion!

https://blog.janchristensen.net/2025/07/nr-3488-det-er-ingen-tvil-i-mine-yne-at.html

Verse 38:
“They wandered in deserts and mountains, and lived in dens and caves of the earth.”

It is timely to ask a big and important question here.
If we go to the previous verses, we see that God’s people won an unqualified victory.
Did these not believe in the same God?
Israel’s God, and were just as devoted as the others about whom it is written, among other things, the following:
“For through faith some conquered kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, and stopped the mouths of lions.
They quenched the fury of fire and escaped the edge of the sword. The weak became strong, they became valiant in battle and put foreign armies to flight.”

They had promises fulfilled and closed the mouths of lions as the Prophet Daniel experienced.
Here one can say that the contrasts are great. But they served the same God, right?

The truth is that just like a coin or for that matter a cake.
Has two sides, our faith life also has two sides.
Where we are not guaranteed which of the sides will emerge and we get to “taste” it.
Where God always has full and complete control over and in our lives.

We also read in verse 37 the following:

“They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were slain by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, they were discouraged, they were in need and they were mistreated. — And the world was not worthy of them!”

There are many things to address here.
But for some of the believers here, life went against them in the worst possible way.
Some, among others, were sawn in two, as the prophet Isaiah experienced.
Isaiah was the son of Amos.
The Bible does not say anything about his birth and death, but according to Jewish tradition, he was sawn in two by the evil King Manasseh.
His writings show that he lived in Jerusalem with his wife, who was a prophetess, and at least two sons, who had prophetic names.
Isaiah was sawn in two by King Manasseh because he would not retract his message.

Didn't the prophet win then? He would not retract or change the message to please the evil King Manasseh.
When the choice is to compromise or stand for God and his word, it is always more important to stand for God than to give in!

We read further here that it is written:
"And those who were in the world were not worthy of them!"

Here I must be allowed to use the persecution of Christianity we experience from the Oslo Municipality. Where we have upgraded our property. They use this against us, even though it was they who guided us how to build.
Such things and similar things only happen in the world of Satan and demons.
Where the right and good become the crazy and illegal.
Think, this is how this world works where Satan is the Prince of this World and the God of this World!

Final comment:

If one does not understand how this world is screwed up.
Then one can quickly be deceived and go astray.
It says the following about these heroes of faith:
"they were discouraged, they were in need and they were mistreated."

There are times that I do not understand that God allows Satan through certain evil people.
Through circumstances and other conditions that the enemy is allowed to pinch, gag and apparently is allowed to hold on far beyond the line in my opinion and perception.
But sooner or later, this will testify against them.
And God's word will come true.
The scripture says this, among other things.
Deuteronomy 28. 7 The Lord will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you; they will come out against you one way, and flee before you seven ways. 8 The Lord will command the blessing to be with you in your barns and to follow you in all that you undertake, and he will bless you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.

God's words and promises are very strong, and the Lord gives us victory in all our ways.
But sometimes we have to take a step back before we can take two steps forward.
We as believers must not forget that we live and walk in a wicked world.
Where the people of the world and unfortunately also some believers are characterized by the God and Spirit of this world.
Where they want to create trouble, difficulties and other nausea.
Where their values are trouble, not solutions!
As believers, we must expect a somewhat turbulent life where injustices are often in a queue!
But in the end, we have God's word and God's promises that we will come out of the battle victorious and the people of the world losing!
It is a type of infantilization of our lives that is not ke has nothing to do with facts.
For example, look at what I experience where Satan and his demons use Oslo Municipality against me for all it is worth.
Thus, as believers, we must accept that we cannot retaliate against this injustice as this World lies in Evil.
But Victory is always within reach for us believers.
Because God has his clock and timetable.
Where he does his mighty work when he says it is enough that Satan and the demons have been allowed to use these evil Devilish people who do everything they can to harm, destroy and kill as Satan's task and work is.
John 10. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly.

In conclusion, I would like to add that when God works in a person, one gets a healthy mind.
As in these employees in Oslo Municipality and the authorities who let Satan and his demons rule, have an unhealthy and Devilish mind.
That we should tear down the beautiful, fictional and environmental we have built.
Is nothing other than downright demonic.
It is therefore obvious that what we are in is a spiritual battle.

2 Tim. 1. 7 For God did not give you the spirit of cowardice, but of power, of love and of sobriety.
The original text does not say the spirit of sobriety, but the spirit of health.
Or a healthy mind to be completely correct.
That is why, as I said, the whole matter is fundamentally a battle between God and Satan.
Light and darkness. Truth and lies!

There are different opinions about whether it is permissible for someone to become a believer.
If the person has been married as a non-believer.

IS IT THEN PERMITTED FOR HIM/HER TO THEN MARRY AS A BELIEVER?

WHAT DOES THE SCRIPTURE SAY?

Does a marriage entered into as a pagan apply?

This is not an easy question to answer. Because it is complicated and not straightforward.
But the word of God, rather than the Apostle Paul's subving.
Is very clear, simple and without misunderstandings!

To start with the clear in the word of God, which says that remarriage for believers is exclusive.
Only death is allowed for remarriage.
That is the starting point for everything.
https://blog.janchristensen.net/2019/07/nr-2490-teolog-og-bibellrer-yvind.html
https://blog.janchristensen.net/2014/01/nr-745-en-mann-en-kvinne-en-pakt-ett.html

1 Cor. 7. 10 To the married I command in the Lord: A wife is not to depart from her husband.
11 But if she departs, let her either remain abstinent or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not leave his wife.

Rom 7. 2 A woman who has a husband is bound to him, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband.
3 If her husband lives and she marries another, she will be called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is free from the law of her husband, and is not an adulteress if she marries another man.

It is said, there is no rule without exception.
So it is also here with remarriage.
As the scripture, especially the Apostle Paul teaches about this.
The Gentile Apostle had a clear teaching about this.

Who is given permission and permission for remarriage as a believer?
No one?
There is no permission for remarriage for believers who are married as Christians.
Remarriage here is and remains to be against the word of God and the will of God.

1.) 1 Cor. 12 To the rest I say by the Lord: If any brother has a wife who is not a believer, and she is willing to live with him, he should not divorce her.
13 In the same way, she who has an unbelieving husband, and he is willing to live with her, should not leave him.
14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by his wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by her husband. Otherwise, their children would be unclean, but now they are holy.
15 But if the unbelieving one wishes to depart, let him depart. No one is under bondage in such cases, for God has called us to peace.
16 For how does the wife know whether she will save her husband, or the husband whether he will save his wife?

If a couple have married unbelievers. Where one becomes a believer.
Then the believer should remain in the marriage.
But if the unbeliever does not wish to remain, then the believer is free.
Free to remarry. This is the first “clause” for remarriage.

2.) 1 Thess. 4. 1 Furthermore, brothers, we urge and exhort you by the Lord Christ, just as you received from us how you ought to live and please God, that you would live even more abundantly.
2 And you know what instructions we gave you through the Lord Jesus.
3 This is the will of God for you: your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality.
4 Each one of you should know how to control his own body in holiness and honor,
5 not in passionate lust like the Gentiles who do not know God.

Paul is saying here about unbelievers, they find their spouses through passionate lust. So they should not be among us believers.
The starting point for a right marriage is only and only this is among believers.

Does the Program Manager in Visjon Norge have the right to enter into a new marriage after she has come to faith?

Since she is divorced as a non-believer?

What does the Apostle Paul say on this subject?
Jesus preached to the Jews, the same as the Apostle Peter.
Here it is Paul who applies!

How are our lives before we come to faith?
The Apostle Paul speaks of us being in darkness.
We are in Satan's kingdom.
Satan is the prince of this world.
We are dead in our sins and transgressions.
The life and the choices we make are thus controlled by Satan all too often.
Then Paul is clear that one starts all over again.
As if one has never lived, made any mistakes.

At the same time, from the day one accepts Jesus.
One is responsible for one's deeds.
One does not just start over.
But one enters into a relationship of responsibility to God that one did not have before.

As I understand the scripture, Program Manager in Vision Norway Liv Søvde Kallevig is free to remarry!

If she had been divorced as a Christian, she is not free.

Since this happened while she was living as a non-believer, the conditions are completely different.

Here are some scriptures that show the nne enormous contrast it is to be an unbeliever versus a believer.

Col. 1. 13 He has delivered us from the powers of darkness, and will bring us into his kingdom through the love of his Son.

Eph. 2. 1 You too were dead in your trespasses and sins.

2 For you also lived in time past according to the spirit of this world, according to the prince of the air, the spirit that now works in the sons of disobedience.

3 You also also lived in time past in the lusts of the flesh, fulfilling the desires and minds of the flesh. You were by nature children of wrath, just as the rest of us were.

4 But God, who is rich in mercy and with his great love for us,

5 And you, who were dead in trespasses, are made alive in Christ, for by his grace you are saved.

1 Tim. 5. 6 But he who lives in pleasure is dead while he lives.

1930 translation 1 Tim. 5. 6 but he who lives according to his desires is dead alive.

The apostle Paul who preached more severely than anyone.
At the same time was gentler than anyone?
Wrote this.

2 Cor. 5. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new!

18 But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.

19 For God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and he has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20 Therefore we are Christ's representatives, as though God were making an appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf, ‘Be reconciled to God!’

21 He made him** to be sin who knew no sin, so that the righteousness of God might be made.

Then as an unbeliever, nothing is imputed to it in the same way into the new life.
This is what the Apostle Paul taught us.
The Apostle Paul was the one who was to complete the word of God.
There is no new revelation, what is given. It is given to us.
For teaching, encouragement and imitation.

Col. 1. 25 Of whom I became a servant according to the stewardship which God gave me to fulfill the word of God.
26 In which is also the mystery which has been hidden from the generations for ages, but has now been revealed to the saints.

No. 1644:

But punished in relation to going against the authorities and the superiors. Norway, and especially Oslo has become a "Nazi country!"

https://www.sokelys.com/selv-nazistene-og-adolf-hitler-var-ikke-sa-ille-som-det-offentlige-er-imot-oss-er-vi-overvevist-om-for-dette-er-ikke-noe-annet-enn-et-offentlig-overgrep/

Norway and especially Oslo are about to become a population like the Nazis who went in step with each other and nothing is tolerated outside the "box" and the mainstream perception!

Illustrative image where the Nazis and the Norwegian authorities and society as it has become in Norway. As in our case with PBE and the public testify and tell us.
Where one is not actually punished in relation to what one has done.
But punished in relation to going against the authorities and the superiors.

The punishment for not submitting to the authorities is that the authorities have "permission" to do whatever they want.
The rejection of our arguments is total and the truth does not matter.
We are to be gagged, everything is legal for us.
Think, 280,000, - NOK in fines for having upgraded our property is directly demonic and completely out of all proportion.

Here is the first demand, of nearly 280,000, - NOK.

Here is the second incorrect and completely out of all proportion.
Demand of 188,500, - NOK after they forcibly sold our car.
The punishment we receive is not according to our so-called illegality.
It is because we have gone against the authorities, and did not bow to their lies and narrative. Then one should be punished unrestrained until one bows, even if everything is fabricated and exaggerated completely out of all conceivable and possible circumstances.
Norway, and especially Oslo has become a Nazi city.

In our case where we have built a wall, stairs and a shed that is not as illegal as PBE claims then the fall on our property indicates that we are allowed to have a wall almost similar to ours. Where we have submitted proposals on how to solve the whole thing.
They do not answer this even though the Administrative Procedure Act says they are required to do this.
In other words, we should be punished for not subordinating ourselves and lying to the authorities.
The Nazis and the Norwegian authorities operate in the same way.
The worst thing you can do in a totalitarian society is not what you have done.
But to go against the authorities and not accept what they say and do, blindly!

Everyone should be included and get their rights is the slogan here in Oslo.
Where soon the entire population will follow the Nazis' lead.
Nothing is tolerated outside the box, and if you somehow get outside.
Then there is nothing that the authorities are not allowed to do to you.
But nothing is in proportion and in proportion to what one has made up for by so-called violation of the law.
Totalitarianism means that the public sphere is total, as it is in many ways in Norway.
Where it is for most people quite well.
But if one falls into "disfavor" as we have become. Then all means and punishments are legal.
Going against the totalitarian Norwegian rule, one gets a fine of 280,000, - kr for having built a cracking good wall. Talk about Satan and his demons thriving in these evil and downright devilish people like PBE and the authorities are.
It is simply unhindered evil and harassment they are doing.
What should be punished most severely is that you go against the system!
Are you someone who does not obey, blindly. For the lies, distortion and discrimination of the authorities. Then the demos and Satan come forward with these.
They do not hold back anything, for a gang controlled by Satan and his evil spirit forces this is what we are fighting against.

All means can be used, no inhibitions!

In Norwegian law it is freely translated that a violation of the law shall be punished in relation to the violation of the law. In our case this is completely out of all proportion as it is possible. As we are not punished for anything other than that we will not comply with an invalid and illegal decision.
Where we have built a wall that is not only pretty and functional.
But is a huge environmental gain as it is no longer dirty, wet, dirty and mollusk runs down the road as it did before.
It is now dry, pretty and a clear advantage and environmental gain where stormwater and everything negative is gone, completely!

The biggest "crime" one can commit is to go against the system!

Norway obviously cultivates the totalitarian, rigid and inhuman.
Imagine, we have built a shed that keeps bicycles and other things safe, dry and
It is used to delegitimize what we have built with lies and distortions.
Where they claim that we have a flat plot, but have themselves written that the level difference on our property is 5 meters.
https://blog.janchristensen.net/2024/12/nr-3433-etter-plan-og-bygningsetatens.html

It is alarming that no one reacts to the fact that we should be punished in the harshest possible way for having upgraded our property!

The whole case against us is total madness, madness and downright Devilishness!
What we have built so far, as I have not actually finished the stairs the way I want them. In concrete/stone like our wall is.
Where stormwater and dirt are replaced with dry ground.
What else can you do to succeed in what you do?
Here we now have 188,500, - NOK outstanding after they stole our car.

These people within the public lie about everything, what they do not lie about.

Omit or embezzle everything that is to our advantage.
What is to our disadvantage, they amplify a thousand times.
These people are ruled entirely by darkness and evil.
Should one give in to such?
Never!

We are their bitterest enemies as we do not bow to PBE lies, narrative and discrimination!
The authorities in Norway, especially here in Oslo. There on us as their enemies as we will not obey their rigid and meaningless orders. Which are exclusively built on lies, deceit and unwillingness.
Whether we are their own civilian people means nothing, obey them or not, they are our enemies. These are evil and purely Devilish people of power.

It is Satan and his demons who work in and through PBE and the authorities!

Important not to be fooled here. As this is not normal behavior.
Here are so-called highly educated people who lie, distort the truth and do everything they can to prevent us from getting a wall, staircase and shed approved.
Others are allowed to do most things, we will be held accountable for minimal and insignificant violations.
Where we also make suggestions to resolve this conflict.
Where they don't even bother to answer.
More rotten and unfriendly than these people it is not possible to be and be!

Final comment:

Our case is really completely, completely insignificant?
Where we live 50 meters from the field. What we have built is not in the way or a nuisance to a single person.
What we have built is almost legal, which is why we have sent a proposal to PBE which they refuse to answer. Or take a position on, even though Norwegian law through, among other things, the Public Administration Act requires them to answer.
Here they can BREAK ALL THE LAWS THEY WANNA PUNISH US!

https://blog.janchristensen.net/2025/05/nr-3461-de-totalitre-kreftene-er-sterke.html

The punishment is merciless and diabolical, as these people are hateful, evil and obviously a bunch of psychopaths in their practice of their profession.
This is a bunch of Nazis in my eyes, which we will never in any way come to. Or are willing to bow to, never!
If you read about what a psychopath is like, also for that matter narcissists and other personality traits. As deviants, it fits perfectly with the people we have experienced and experienced within the public sphere.
Absolutely incredible that they are allowed to continue, and no one reacts!?

No. 1643:

A preacher and pastor should not be remarried as a believer, but a husband of one woman!

Former Mission Secretary in PYM and preacher Hans Svartdahl made several couples who were remarried as believers realize that this was against the word of God, to separate! Picture by Hans Svartdahl

Titus 1. 5 The reason I left you in Crete was that you would put in order what was left undone and appoint elders in the cities, as I commanded you.
6 If so, he must be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children who are not accused of debauchery or rebellion.
7 An overseer must be blameless, a steward of God; not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not given to drinking, not violent, not corrupt.
8 He must be hospitable, a lover of goodness, self-controlled, just, God-fearing, and sober-minded.
9 He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message we were taught, having the ability to teach in unadulterated terms and to be able to rebuke and refute those who contradict.

A husband of one wife—is this a one-time occurrence in the Word of God?

It is with great astonishment and with a certain degree of discouragement that I share this.
All truths in the Word of God, whether it be salvation, healing, holiness.
What it is, we find a common thread throughout the word of God where God means the same thing all the way.

Heb. 13. 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, yes forever.

So also when it comes to no preacher and with responsibility should be divorced and remarried as a believer!

This is not something the Apostle takes out of thin air.

This is a biblical principle.

Through all covenants and also in the coming 1000-year kingdom.

It applies to the church, it applies to Israel. This is God's standard.

Ministry and remarriage

But still one has been divorced as a believer and one holds a ministry, then stricter criteria are set. There are several places in Paul's teaching that one should be the husband of one wife (see the Pastoral letters). What then?

James says in his letter chapter 3:1: "My brothers! Not many of you should become teachers! For we know that we will receive a stricter judgment".

The responsibility is very great to be a preacher. There is a big difference between being an ordinary church member and being a preacher.
It does not mean that one is more loved by God, but it has to do with being faithful to the area of responsibility God has given one. I believe that God will forgive everyone and every sin. But here there are other things that must be taken into account, as a preacher one has a special responsibility. Would anyone in a secular context allow a pedophile to work with children?
No, of course not!

The Scriptures are equally clear that we should not allow a remarried preacher to preach to other people with a Pastoral and teaching responsibility. That one is an Evangelist as, among others, Frank Mangs was after he was divorced, we can allow.

But not to be ordained as a Pastor, Shepherd or elder. One should not be the leader of the flock and the herd, but be under some form of supervision.
But when one holds an office as a preacher, much is required. That is why James says that not many should be preachers. Therefore, a preacher cannot take liberties only at his own expense, he has a special responsibility to God and his fellow men.
Regarding marriage, it is not permitted for a preacher to remarry under any circumstances, then he disqualifies himself for the office he has been given. It is like an athlete cutting off his legs, he is no longer fit to be an athlete, even if he wants to. A preacher should be the husband of one wife, as we see Paul teaching time and time again. (1 Tim. 3.2 and Titus 1:6).

If something is unclear here, I recommend submitting a question to our blog or writing something there yourself. This should and should have been a common Christian understanding where remarried people were not allowed to travel around the country. There are spiritual powers, demonic ones that follow in the footsteps of loose sexual and moral life.

1.Tim. 4. 1. The Spirit clearly says that in the last times some will fall away from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and teachings that come from evil powers. 2 They are deceived by lying hypocrites whose conscience is seared. 3 These people forbid people to marry and insist that they abstain from certain foods, although God created these things to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. 4 For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving. 5 It is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

This is not about A and B Christians. Marriage is a God-given arrangement that also shows the relationship between Christ and the church. Therefore, it is in the very nature of this that such great demands are made. God stands behind his word, therefore this is a model of something even greater and richer. Our preold to Jesus and his relationship with us. Therefore, be careful both about who you marry and that you do not contaminate your life here. By living in accordance with the word of God here, the best condition is that you grow as a believer.

1 Thess. 4. 1. Finally, brothers, we ask and exhort you in the Lord Jesus: As you received and learned from us how you ought to live and please God, and so you are already living, but you should make even greater progress in this! 2 For you know what orders we gave you from the Lord Jesus. 3 For this is the will of God - your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; 4 each of you should know how to control his own wife in holiness and honor, 5 not in sensual desire like the Gentiles, who do not know God. 6 And no one should wrong or defraud his brother in these things. The Lord punishes all such things, as we have told you before and warned you about. 7 For God did not call us to impurity, but to holiness. 8 Therefore, whoever rejects this does not reject man, but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.

We read that the scriptures give clear testimony about the priest in the old covenant how he should live, who was in the same responsibility before God and his fellow men as the preacher and overseer is in the new covenant. Leviticus 21:14: "A widow or a divorced woman or a woman defiled or a prostitute - these he must not marry. Only a virgin from his own people he must take as his wife."

We read that God gives the same testimony and demands the same from the Priest during the coming 1000-year kingdom who will serve the people in Jerusalem in Israel, where law and justice will come from. Ezekiel 44:22: “A widow or a woman divorced from her husband they shall not take as wives, but only virgins of the house of Israel. But a widow who is the widow of a priest they may take.”

If the Scripture is so clear regarding the priest in the old covenant and under the millennium, it is no less clear regarding the dispensation of the church, we who live under the most glorious and greatest privilege of all; “the husband of one wife.”

Just as the Scripture says that it is demonic and seductive to refuse a preacher and overseer to marry (1 Tim. 4:1), it is to come under the same negative conditions to accept and allow preachers to remarry while their spouse is alive.
It is only upon death that it can be right for an overseer to remarry again, and then to one who is not divorced!
Rom. 7. 2 A woman who has a husband is bound to him, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband.
3 If, while her husband lives, she is married to another man, she will be called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is free from the law of her husband, and is not an adulteress if she is married to another man.

Final comment:

A man should guard his own life above all else, says the scripture.

1 Tim. 4. 16 Pay attention to yourself and to the teaching; continue in it! For in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

It is like a red thread throughout the word of God, being a preacher or holding an office.
There are completely different requirements than for others. Where one of the requirements is to take care of the relationship in marriage and family.

1 Tim. 5. 17 An elder who proves himself capable is worthy of double honor, especially if he strives to teach the word
18 For the Scripture says, ‘You shall not muzzle an ox while it threshes out the grain.’ And, ‘The laborer is worthy of his wages.’ Deuteronomy 25:4, Luke 10:7
19 Do not receive an accusation against an elder except on the evidence of two or three witnesses.
20 But a sinner rebuke him before all, that he may be a warning to others.

Here, as elsewhere, the scripture is clear.
It is consistent throughout the entire Word of God, to have an office of oversight.
Far stricter requirements are set than with others.
One of them is that one should not be divorced and remarried as a believer as far as I understand the scripture.
Must be the husband of one wife. Where one is bound as long as the other lives.
Also, several wives that we find among others. The Kings in the OT practiced, always led in a negative direction. Following God's word to the letter is what brings Blessing, not Curse.
We are to be head, not tail. Where we are to be above, not below for sin, the world and the flesh.

Deuteronomy 28. 13 The Lord will make you the head and not the tail; and you will always be above and never below, if you listen to the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today to keep and do,
14 and if you do not deviate from any of the words that I set before you today, either to the right or to the left, to go after other gods and serve them.
