Circumcision seen in the light of God's Word both in the Old and New Testament!
The apostle Paul was circumcised on the eighth day, John the Baptist, Jesus was circumcised on the eighth day. Yes, all the men of God were circumcised.

That this is to be forbidden is nothing but bad.

Ranked. 248:
Circumcision or Brit Mila!
Brit Mila is the Jewish word for circumcision. According to the law of Judaism, all boys are circumcised 8 days after they were born. This law does not apply to girls.
According to Judaism, Brit Mila will be a sign of a covenant that was decided between God and Abraham. This covenant was later renewed between God and the Jewish people.
It is very, very rare, I get scared, but I became now when I followed the developments that happen here in our dear Norway against circumcision of boy children. This is from NTB News:
Both the Medical Association, Nursing Associate, Child Ombudsman, Human-Ethical Association, Human Resource Center and Faculty of Medicine at the University of Oslo want end of practice, writes Dagsavisen.
Every year about 2,000 newborn boys are circumcised in Norway. At the end of April, the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs sent a proposal for statutory regulation of ritual circumcision of boy children on hearing. In the consultation note, it is proposed that the procedure be performed by doctors or other experts and that it is free. The purpose is to prevent complications and prevent pain and trauma.
"This is an offense against the child," said Lars Gule, former director of the Human-ethical Association, and has sent a private consultation statement.
- It limits the child's ability to take a more free life-style choice in mature age. The child is labeled for life with belonging to a particular view of life, he says to Dagsavisen.
- Children must be allowed to choose their religious identity. Circumcision is an irreversible intervention that marks the child for a lifetime. You never get the foreskin back, "says Deputy Head of the Human-Ethical League, Tom Hedalen.
UNs childconvention
The child ombudsman has also voted against the consultation proposal.
"I think the discussion should be about this at all," says Child Ombudsman Reidar Hjermann.
He suggests an age limit for circumcision.
Under Norwegian law, a 15-year-old is entitled to decide on religious conditions while 16 years is the age of health.
Hjørann also refers to the UN Children's Convention.
- Article 12 refers to the right of children to participation and influence over their own lives. You have no chance to consent when you are completely newborn. There is no human right to cut the foreskin of another person.
Doctors skeptical
The medical association points out that the procedure is unnecessary.
"The best thing would have been if this became illegal. Unnecessary interventions on healthy people are far beyond the healthcare system, "says Hege Gjessing, president of the Norwegian Medical Association.
The Ministry of Health and Care Services sees two alternatives to regulation of the operation. In one model, it opens that other than doctors should be allowed to perform the procedure under certain conditions. In the second model, it is suggested that only physicians may perform the procedure.
The Norwegian State Board of Health is of the opinion that ritual circumcision of boys should not be regulated and do not want to oversee ritual circumcision who are not physicians, if they get permission to perform the procedure (quote termination).
Is this the end of Jews in Norway and then also on real democracy? Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg said after July 22, there would be more democracy and more openness, this is the opposite.
Where do Christians and Muslims become?
It is understandable and bad that this really important writing and illumination is now completely left to the Jews in Norway who are not 2000 once to fight for this.
Circumcision is common in the rest of the world and has taken place for at least 4000 years since Abraham was told by God. Here, circumcision comes from and it will perish forever as a covenant between God and Israel, as more have adopted, not least the Muslims. 1/3 of boys in the world are circumcised.
Genesis 17 17 And Abraham threw himself to the ground, and laughed. He said to himself, "Can a man who is 100 years old have children, and can Sarah feed with her ninety years?" 18 And Abraham said to God, "May you make Ishmael live before you!" 19 Then said God: "Yes, but you will have a son with Sarah your wife and you will give him the name of Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him, an everlasting covenant for his seed after him. 20 I have heard your prayer for Ishmael. I will bless him and make him fruitful and give him a very tall seed. He will make twelve chiefs a father, and I will make him a great people. 21 But my covenant will I make with Isaac, which Sarah will give birth next year at this time. "22 When God had stopped speaking with Abraham, he arose from him.
23 On that same day Abraham took his son Ishmael and all the men of his household, both those born in the house and those who were bought for money, and cut off the foreskin on them, as God had said to him. 24 Abraham himself was 99 years when he was circumcised. 25 And Ishmael his son was 13 years when he was circumcised. 26 The same day they were circumcised, both Abraham and the son of Ishmael. 27 And all the men of his house, both those born in the house, and those bought with strangers were circumcised with him.
When God gave Abraham the promise of Isaac, he did this. And, unlike everybody else, Isaac was circumcised on the 8th day, which happens to all Jewish boy children since Isaac, this is in keeping the Sabbath a covenant between Israel and God, as God Himself has ordained. Therefore, to deny the Jews to do this procedure is to oppose God's self.
Genesis 21 The Lord took care of Sara as he had said, and did to her as he had promised. 2 Sarah had children and had a son with Abraham in his old days, at the time God had mentioned to him. 3 Abraham gave the son whom he had received with Sarah, the name of Isaac. 4 He circumcised Isaac when he was eight days as God had commanded him.5 Abraham was a hundred years old when he became Isaac's son.
6 Then Sarah said, "God has made it so that I may laugh. And all who hear this will laugh at me. "7 And she continued," Who should have said to Abraham, Sarah will give birth to little children! And then I have born him a son in his old days. "
This happened to Isaac, it's something to do with all boy babies, but God has never ordained it for girl babies, only boys.
Male circumcision
What: A medical procedure that involves removing the foreskin on the penis. The treatment can be performed for medical or religious / cultural reasons.
Old custom: A picture that shows the circumcision of adult men is celebrated to 2350-2000 years BC. Circumcision was commonplace in ancient times, not least in Egypt. The Bible tells us that circumcision of boy children was practiced by the Israelites. It is said that God commanded Abraham and his family and servants to circumcise and that the order was continued in the Mosaic Law. Within Christianity, most of the injunctions for circumcision are considered to be abolished in conjunction with other provisions of the Mosaic Law. Circumcision is still practiced within Judaism. The practice is also practiced in Islam, in Aborigines in Australia and in many African societies. Often as an initiation ritual.
When: The Jews circumcise their children on the eighth day after birth. Muslims usually also circumcise boys, either at the infant stage or later. Some Muslims allow boys to be circumcised at the beginning of puberty. If an adult man who is not circumcised converts to Judaism or Islam, he usually lets circumcise.
Medical reason: Some are circumcised due to narrow foreskin (failure to pull back the foreskin). The intervention is usually done under local anesthesia.
"Approved" custom: Unlike circumcision of girls / women, circumcision of boys / men is widely regarded as an accepted custom. Female circumcision is a much larger and more dangerous intervention and is currently defined as genital mutilation, whatever it is. Yes, it's a barbaric custom.
Circumcision of boys has usually not been banned, and it has been regarded as an important religious practice for Jews and Muslims (Wikipedia, etc.).
What do the Jews now say in Norway?
In the United States, 80 percent of men are circumcised, and 30 percent worldwide, Kohn points out.
- Almost lies
He reverses the claim that there are no medical reasons for circumcision.
"It's almost like lying," Kohn says, referring to two studies pointing out that the risk of being infected with the HIV virus for heterosexual men is reduced by 60 percent if circumcised. He says that there is a lot of research that underlines that Jewish men to a large extent suffer from sexually transmitted diseases and that stomach cancer is almost non-existent in Jewish women.
"The World Health Organization, WHO, does not just go out and recommend circumcision in Africa, but has six active programs where they teach and help African men in circumcision as part of the fight against AIDS spread," Kohn points out.
Important to Jews
- What does the circumcision mean for a Jew?
- Circumcision is the most important identifier for Jews. It is so basic that many secular Jews have this as a last chance, in a way, to their own Jewish self-understanding part.
- What do you think is the child ombudsman's purpose in this matter?
"I do not think the Ombudsman has any religious motivation here. But I think it is a lack of knowledge and lack of understanding and empathy for the religious dimension of the matter. The Ombudsman does not respect religious arguments in general, and the statement is a symptom of this, says the Jews spokesperson.
- The Norwegian Constitution originally prevented Jews from accessing Norway. How would an age limit for circumcision, as suggested by the Ombudsman, work for Jews?
- The statement directly seeks religious freedom. Here, children's rights are set against religious freedom as if we were not concerned with our children. What is this nonsense? You can not put these things against each other and I respond to the child ombudsman's use of the child convention in this case, says Ervin Kohn (Quote End).
We must pray, stand up and defend here in so-called multicultural Norway that this is the complete crossing of different believers and minds than us. This is so historious and, as I see it, is strong demonic forces acting against the Jews-God's own people whom he himself has chosen through the fathers. And Muslims and others are also affected. This really should get far more to defend what democracy, freedom of expression, equality and tolerance are.
I, as believers and Christians, are not for themselves to be circumcised, I am basically neither Jew nor Muslim, but a saved heath that God accepts without circumcision. Had I been a Jew, then the case was quite different, that's what empathy is. To get into other feelings and mindset. What makes me almost sick is that so many leaders in Norway have no understanding of how others think belonging to smaller and different groups one themselves. Let everyone be allowed to have their point of view, whether one is a Muslim, Christian, atheist, Jew or whatever it is now that is the point of view. We all depend on each other and need each other, and the diversity enriches, does not take anything from us. But even Aftenposten takes such engraving articles as Jostein Gaarder as a cheesecake of Jewish hat and Jewish act, this as a chronicle. No and again a no to more of the same kind as this really is. Intolerance, overcrowding, overriding and abuse of power against Jews who are Norwegian and belong to the Norwegian society in the same way as everyone else.
